The silence had worry making a comeback and his smile faltering. While he was being sincere, he wondered if the rogue would see it as such. Probably not. There was no reason for him to believe the warrior's words. Though, as the silence stretched on, he wondered what the other was thinking. There were so many things that could be going through his mind right now. Maybe... Maybe he was questioning his honesty? Or maybe he was wondering how fast the battle could be ended once it was started.
His thoughts shattered easily as a movement caught his attention instead. As the orange pelted feline tipped his head, Chillberry's worry died once more. Then there was a name to out to a face. Flame... How fitting. Smile growing slightly, he responded with, "Thats a wonderful name. I'm Chillberry." It was only polite to introduce himself in return. Should he have? No probably not. Did the core of his being demand that he did? Of course! It was just who he was - too nice for his own good. The rogue before him was clearly worthy of his trust. He had a family to provide for, and was only doing what he had to do. So, he'd help, and hope they were gone in a few day's time.
Despite his earlier thoughts, he'd say that this was going quite well. Maybe this was the start of a friendship. One that shouldn't be had, but a friendship nonetheless. Yes, he'd like that. With mention of a squirrel, the warrior nodded. "Let's go check it out. If it's not there, there's sure to be something else," he stated. He was sure of this, and it was almost always the case. This was to be something like one of his normal hunting trips, so nothing would be out of the ordinary, other than the fact that he would be walking back to camp with Flame. That would be odd for him, but easy enough to cope with.

Vesper: is a large fluffy black smoke and white Norwegian forest cat. She has snowy white muzzle that runs up the bridge of her nose that comes together on her forehead just past her eyes and the far cheeks on the side of her face are a light gray color. The rest of her face is a jet black color. She has a grayish-white scarf that joins the white of her chest. Her shoulders are a dark color along with black stockings. Her back and sides are a mottled grey color with silver and darker gray tints. The base of the tail gets darker before lighting into a light gray with a black tail tip. Her eyes are a light honey colored amber eyes. Vesper commonly goes as Ves. Personality WIP
Family: Serene + Alic = Vesper, Kaden
