This Clan cat was so strange. He was sorry for how Flame had been wronged? For a long moment the orange tabby was silent. He strained his mind in hopes of finding some sort of subliminal message underneath this tomcat's words, but no matter how hard he tried he realized that this Clan cat was being truthful. He honestly had no idea what Flame had gone through thanks to the Clan cats. For a long moment he was conflicted as to how he should feel. Relieved? Satisfied? Curious? So many emotions were going through his mind right now that all he could do was just stand there.
Then, finally, something clicked.
Flame cocked his head in a slow fashion as he took a step closer to the other tomcat. He took in a deep breath before murmuring, "I'm Flame." He felt like he could trust this warrior with such information. The tabby felt...odd. He wasn't sure how he felt toward the brown tabby and white tom, but Flame knew that he shouldn't resent this warrior, not when he had nothing to do with Diamond's death, not when he had nothing to do with the scar between his shoulders. This tomcat was innocent, and Flame was honestly feeling a connection toward him now. Even if this RidgeClanner was the only good cat in the middle of a group of cold-hearted killers, that didn't make the Clan great, but it made Flame feel a little less inclined to do some damage to them. He at least would make sure to not hurt this new found friend.
A friend. He was becoming friends with a Clan cat? Flame felt like he was betraying his very being for a moment there, but he calmed any silent storms within him with a quick breath. Amber eyes looked over the other tom once again before he turned to look through the woods. "I smelled a squirrel nearby earlier. Whether or not it's still here is another matter." Now it was time to get to business. Flame didn't want to linger around to just contemplate what all had just happened in a few minutes. From foe to friend this odd tomcat had made Flame question himself more than once. He didn't feel like questioning himself anymore right now. No, right now he just wanted to hunt and get back to his group where he could think about all of this more effectively.

Found a picture I'm getting my inspiration from.  Oatshine | Female | Warrior Oatshine is a pale ginger she-cat with slightly darker finger tabby stripes. The fur on her tail is longer and feather life. Oh all our paws, the tips of her toes are white. Her nose is a dark shade of pink along with dark tabby stripes leading up her nose on both sides and ending right above her swampy green eyes. Oatshine is a very caring she-cat and doesn't want to disappoint others. She has a hard time say 'no' because she doesn't want to hurt others. I need help with a name: Honey____ Oat____ Any help? } |
