Ah, that made sense. Though it became confusing to the rogue after a moment. The Clan worked on cats that were injured before letting them go back to their own home? They hadn't done that to Diamond after a Clan cat had attacked her. Why? If they treated wounded cats... Then again, perhaps that warrior would have been shunned had he brought back an injured rogue. Would that be the case? Surely not. Flame was sure these cats prided themselves in running off rogues, killing rogues. This cat right here before him probably knew the tom that had ended up murdering Diamond. This Clan cat probably shared a den with the tom that had killed his sister. He was probably a friend to the tom that had killed the she-cat. This brought a fresh fire of anger igniting in the tom's stomach. "You treat wounded cats but yet some of your denmates have murdered my kind?" It was possible this warrior knew nothing of Diamond, but Flame wasn't so sure. "Do you pick which cats you treat, because you sure didn't treat my littermate when she was injured. None of your cats treated me when they brought me down," he growled, hackles rising. Once again he felt the scar upon his back twitch with pain. It brought him back to when he had been pinned down by the vicious she-cat, her claws digging into his flesh as he lay there exposed to her. She had showed him mercy by not slaughtering him, but she had certainly left her mark upon his body. And Flame couldn't ignore that.
A low growl slipped from the rogue. He eyed the warrior for a longer moment, stepping closer with his fur still bristled. "You Clan cats seem pretty hypocritical. How can I trust you?" He grumbled, tail lashing. Flame wanted to just go ahead and pounce on the white and brown tabby and get this over with, but he kept himself grounded. As far as he knew this cat had nothing to do with Diamond's death or his scar. If anything this cat didn't even know about any of it. Maybe this tomcat was as innocent as he seemed.
Flame's thoughts became even deeper when the Clan cat mentioned he would help the rogue with his hunting. This comment caught the tabby off guard, shock pooling in his eyes. He took a step back. "What...?" He breathed slowly, surprise still flowing through him. "Help me? I'm a rogue, a Clan cat's enemy. Shouldn't you be doing the opposite of that?" This was...this was just strange. Was this Clan cat right in the head? Or was this some sort of trick? Flame wondered briefly if this Clan cat had decided to play it nice, gain his trust, and then pounce on him when he least expected it. If that were the case then Flame deserved the pain seeing as to how accepting he was of this innocent cat's offer. "...Fine," he muttered. "We don't have much time to waste, then."

Sofie | ??? | Head Hunter
Sofie a solid cat on the short side with thick limbs and a round head. Her cream fur is dipped white in a 'mask and mantle’ fashion. They have short, plush fur and big brown eyes with golden and green tints. Their claws are long and durable. Her muzzle is small and has a scar running across the arc of her nose. She’s a bit flirtatious in her mannerisms and enjoys sarcasm and poking fun. They tend to be easy-going and relaxed while oddly maintaining an authoritative, firm, and sometimes daunting aura.
is it okay if i didn't make a tom?? i know that's always a concern. sofie's kind of like 10% she-cat tho so idk how she would stand??

The warrior was honestly the definition of not ready. He didn't know the rogue's life story. He didn't know of the anger he harbored towards the clan, specifically those who wronged him. He truly had no idea of the incidents that had occurred and caused such anger. Right now, all he knew was that if the tom before him had been injured, Mudfeather surely would've have treated him to so he could provide for his family more properly, and he was mostly sure that his brother wouldn't have a problem with it. He also knew his own sense of morals, which restricted him from attacking the rogue as he seemed to pose no threat. Although, the sudden hostility changed that entirely. As his ears laid back slightly, though not completely, a fresh worry was born within him, and with it, a new panic that nearly mirrored the one from the rebellion. Ah, but this kind of panic was simply one for his own safety, thus weaker. It bubbled in the pit of his stomach, but it was easy enough to ignore for now. "I don't know what you're talking about." He really didn't, and he wasn't sure what else to say. "I don't know what happened to you but it seems really unfair. I'm sorry you were treated so wrongly..."
There wasn't much else to be said on his part. Chillberry hadn't been there. He had no idea what the orange tomcat was talking about. A growl pierced his ears and then the rogue took a step forwards. Wait, what? Was this really going to turn physical? With a statement followed by a question that hung in the air, the heterochromatic tom hesitated. Surely the next thing he said would determine the course of events, and he wasn't entirely sure how he felt about that. Nonetheless, he held his ground as he tried to think of something logical to say. "In all honesty, I don't know," the warrior finally answered. The other feline didn't have to trust, and probably had no reason to trust him. So... What else was there to say? It wasn't like there was just a magic phrase that commanded and received trust.
So, the white and tabby cat stood and watched, waiting for a chance in face or demeanor. And he received one. Shock made its way into the other's eyes, followed by a step backward. Alright, that was something. With most of the threat gone, he raised his ears, though worry still bubbled within him. As his hunting offer was questioned, Chillberry flicked an ear. "Well... I suppose so, but you've got a family so..." Where was he going with this? Did he even have a point? Well, the point was that he was a sucker for a sob story. Or for anything that seemed to have good intentions. "I just want to help." Yeah. Yeah, that was probably what he was trying to get at. Though his offer was accepted, and he brightened a bit, a small smile forming and worry disappearing immediately. "Alright, let's go."
