"Yes," Theo replied, sounding a little annoyed. "You." He drove as slowly as he could but seemed to refuse to stop. It wasn't so much a refusal as if was a habit. Theo had always been the guy who doesn't stop moving unless absolutely necessary, and something as simple as a conversation didn't qualify.
"Or would you rather take the bus?" This was definitely a challenge. Everything from the tone to the words themselves were a dead giveaway, and Theo wasn't about to deny it or mask it behind a false tone.

"Uh- no!" Xander cleared the distance to the bike quickly and climbed awkwardly on the back. He had. Ever ridden on a bike, his mother would never allow this.

Ian glanced down at his notebook briefly. "Where do you hope your career will be in 5 years?" He looked back up at Tristan to await the answer. It was the only question on Ian's list that had not already been asked. Tristan paused just a second to think about that, kind of unsure. He laughed a bit and shrugged. "Well, hopefully I'll still be relevant." He said, which was all he could really hope for. He had started out pretty low, homeless a few years ago, and now he was here. He'd be fine with staying where he was or a bit lower.

Ian only nodded and made a small note in his book before flipping it closed. "That's all." He answered calmly, knowing that the other media reps would all be talking about how 'unprepared' Ian, the representative of 98.5 the Crew, had been for an interview with Tristan. Ian didnt care though. He knew that he could produce the perfect segment with the information that he had gathered.

Theo took his helmet off and twisted, shoving it unceremoniously into Xander's arms. He nodded to it, silently urging the boy to put it on. It was clear from the way he was sitting that he'd never sat on a bike before and that he was much more likely to go flying than Theo himself was. "Where am I taking you?" he asked, still facing Xander, something that was much more comfortable now that he wasn't holding a massive helmet in his arms.

Xander pulled the helmet onto his head quickly. "West plains." Xander replied, slightly nervous. West Plains was the subdivision that Xander lived in. It was a well known part of town and concidered where the 'rich people' lived.

Theo huffed, but nodded. He turned back around, nodding to Xander as he did. "Alright," he agreed. "Hold on, and don't fall off." With that, he revved the engine again, using it as an excuse to buy Xander an extra moment to do as asked and hold on, and then kicked the bike into motion/

Xander sat tense as the bike took off. His knuckles turned white with his grip. Mom's gonna kill you Xander thought over and over again as they neared his home.

Theo didn't ride without a helmet often. He might not pay any respect to rules, but he did want to live for as long as possible. He wasn't downright irresponsible if it could be avoided. Still, he loved the feeling of the wind rushing over his face and through his hair. It never got old. He was acutely aware of Xander's presence, though, his grip was so tight that there was no ignoring it. He would've asked the other boy to ease up a little, but anything that left his mouth was rushed away by the wind, so there was no use in that.

He took the hand presented to him, his grip firm yet gentle all at once as he shook Andrew's hand before letting it go. The emerald family ring that decorated his finger glinted as he moved. The silver "W" with the coiled snake engraved was just another representation of the Van Der Woodsen family.
"Alistair." He responded simply, relieved that the other didn't give his last name. Therefore, Alistair wouldn't feel obligated to do so in return.
At his question, he tilted his head to the side slightly. "Nervous? Not exactly. I mean, I already know what House I'll be sorted in and the idea of being able to broaden my knowledge about our world is far more exciting." He shrugged, a faint smile gracing his lips.

ππππππ’π : Sure! What did you have in mind? ree : Xander had his eyes closed tight for the first few minutes of the ride. When he opened them, all he saw were trees and houses rushing by. He knew that they would be at his house soon. This caused a conflicting feeling in Xander's chest. He didn't want this moment of freedom to end, but man was this bike terrifying! @ Vitiatus : Andrew sat back in the bench seat again. "Really? How do you already know?" His eyes grew wide. Andrew had no idea what house he would be sorted into, let alone what house he wanted to be sorted into. He was thinking that maybe Gryffindor would be a great house to be sorted into. "What house is it?" His interest grew into curiosity.

Theo slowed down as he entered West Plains, going at a pace that allowed for some conversation. Or, at least screams could be heard. "Which way from here," he called back. He hadn't gotten an exact adress, and the subdivision was pretty large. It was also the complete opposite of where Theo lived, so it wasn't as though he could guess his way around.

"Take your first right." Xander practically yelled to be heard over the rumbling of the motorcycle engine. "And you can drop me off on the next corner." He asked Theo to drop him off a few blocks from his house, not wanting his mother to spot him riding on the back of a 'dangerous' motorcycle.

Theo did as asked, pulling up to the curb around the next corner. The motorcycle rumbled for a few more moments before puttering to a stop. He waited for Xander to dismount before doing the same, leaning against the bike as he watched Xander for a few more moments, seemingly waiting for something, though he didn't know what.

After climbing off of the bike, Xander pulled the helmet off his head and held it out to Theo. "Thank you for the ride." He said this carefully without making eye contact. He used on hand to fix the helmet hair that he assumed he had. He stood there feeling awkward, unsure if he should wait for Theo to leave or if he was supposed to walk away first.

Theo took the helmet with a nod, placing it onto the seat of the bike. "Sure, no problem," he said. He looked back at Xander, an amused smile forming as he realised that Xander wasn't really looking at him. "You can look at me you know," he said, the amusement clear in his tone as well as his smile. "I don't bite."

Xander looked up slowly and cautiously. It was almost as if he was indeed afraid of getting bit. "Sorry." He said softly. Xander wasn't very good at conversations, his parents usually did all of the talking for him. Even though he resented that, he still wasn't very good at speaking for himself.

Theo shrugged, a don't-worry-about-it gesture, crossing his arms across his chest. He turned, seemingly ready to leave. "Hey," he said midturn, turning back. "I'm curious, why were you staring at me earlier? I'm used to being watched but that wasn't what you were doing." He was genuinely curious. That had been the reason he'd offered a ride after all.

"Are you sure?" he questioned, only having a few more minutes before he'd be done with questions for the night. He let his gaze sweep over Ian briefly, taking in his appearance.

Xander debated sharing his actual reason. Truthfully, he admired Theo. He was jealous of the boys freedom and carefree lifestyle. "I-uhm-" Xander looked down at his shoes quickly. "I was just imagining I guess." He paused for a moment. "Imagining what it would be like to be you." Xander's face was beginning to turn red.

Ian didn't take his eyes off of Tristan. "I am sure." He nodded once. He could feel the singer's eyes looking him over. 'He probably also thinks that you are unprepared.' Ian thought this and couldn't help the small smirk that came to his lips. Ian loved to be doubted. It fueled his ability to exceed everyone's expectations.

Theo looked surprised. He hadn't been expecting that. He wasn't they guy people strived to be like. He wasn't well-liked, and though he was known around school, he wasn't popular either. If he asked a stranger who they wanted to be in high school, the answer would not be Theo Mouney. "Yeah? Why would you want to be me?"

Xander laughed softly at this. "Forget it." He turned to walk towards his house. "I am not going to share my life story with you." He started down the sidewalk. "Thanks for the ride!" He called back. He knew that walking away from a conversation was rude, and had been told all his life to never do it, but he couldn't help it this time.

Theo scoffed, but didn't pry any further. It wasn't as though it would achieve anything except satisfy his curiousity. "Yeah, no problem." He watched the boy leave, brows furrowed, mounting his bike again once Xander had turned a corner. He slipped his helmet on and took off, heading for his own part of the city and the small apartment waiting for him there.

Xander walked another block before turning to walk up a driveway leading to a light blue house with white shutters. After turning the key in the door, he pushed it open. His mother was immediately calling from the kitchen. "Xander! Is that you?" "Ya mom!" He called. "Yes, Mother." She corrected. "Come on into the kitchen, I am making dinner." Xander then proceeded to do what was required of him every night. He sat down at the kitchen table and took out his planner and all of his homework folders. His mom came over to the table while she waited for the water to boil and looked in Xander's planner to see what homework he had. She then instructed him to complete the assignments while she finished dinner.

Ian watched the star go before turning to head back down the hallway. He glanced at his watch as he turned. The clock face read 11:00 pm. He sighed softly, knowing he still had a little while before he would be able to crawl into bed.
