I'm okay. Writing something that is neither Warriors fic nor one of my novels. Change of pace. Reading ahead in my textbooks and suffering from school stress. Most of the usual, sadly.

Anyways, I just read the sneak peek and it looks like things will be getting a little...difficult for Eaglefrost. But, honestly, just being someone Shadowface cares about means that life is going to get veeeery difficult for you super quickly.
(also, unrelated, but I think we follow each other on Twitter now? At least, I'm like 99% sure it's you)

How Katana remembers Shadowface’s kits:
Tempestkit- My son. (Also names after my other child that Shadow killed.)
Maskkit- Is named after Maskstar and she is the Cursed child.
Coldkit- You’re alive for whatever reason, that’s probably why I remember your name... I also dislike your name, but it could be cool if you live long enough...
Pantherkit-You had a cool name, I wish you had lived longer.
Bluekit-I think this is your name?
If there are any other kits,
Kat doesn’t remember you because you died quickly and Kat wanted all The she-kits to die anyway... (That sounded crueler than intended, but it makes sense for me to want them to die, plot-wise.)

It started when I was RPing a crossover character. Someone was like 'I'm bored', so I asked 'okay, you want drama? Because 'my' (loose sense of the word) character can do drama.' From there, I had him turn up injured. But it got me thinking. Because he's world is pretty safe. How'd he get injured? From there, every now and again, I had him turn up with smaller injuries and slowing the back of my head started thinking up why he kept getting injured. It started out with me just thinking that he'd adopted this half-feral boy, but slowly I named him and realized just how much 'my' character was giving into my OC boy's whims. Recently, within the RP, I said his name. His stories really adapted since then, thanks to a couple of people I've been shooting the idea at. And now I've finished something that's either a short story or a first chapter. XD |

I actually deleted a good portion and began re-writing it two days ago. Certain chapters are harder to write than others, whether it be because something major in the plot is going down, an important character dies, or the entire story shifts (like there suddenly not being a clan structure to fall back on). I am a perfectionist in general, but these chapters make me more paranoid than perfectionist. x'D Anyways, I am back in Alpine among the mountains and desert plains. 12 hours this semester including a creative writing course starts tomorrow for me. I might even be getting to see snow on Wednesday! I have my whole dorm room to myself this semester so I can actually hang out in the living room without bothering my would be neighbor. This is going to help a lot with my mental health. (I don't have to be locked up in my room anymore). I am super eager to begin this spring semester anew and try striving for better health in general. Along with a new semester comes new writing projects! If you aren't on the WFF discord server, you might have missed my little post about being inspired by some images on WeHeartit. This idea I'm calling Starborn: a world where the constellations in the sky can imbue ordinary beings with supernatural gifts. You must be born under a constellation when it is at its peak in the sky (or it's at its brightest) to receive its blessings. Born under Ursa Major? Guess what, you can now morph into a bear. Born under the swan constellation? You can fly! (with your own pair of wings). ect. ect. But the super special constellation are the 12 Zodiacs. If you are born under these on a New Moon you become an immortal being with morphing powers and elemental powers. For instance, if you are born under the Aries Zodiac constellation you now have fire elemental powers and can change into a ram! You're fur, like all other Zodiac's, with slowly turn black and you will have the starry constellation imprinted on your body (forehead, shoulder, leg, ect.)   Expect to see more Starborn material as we go further into 2018! But, of course, old projects come first, and none are so old as Curse. 2018 is Curse year. It will be finished before the year is out, that I know for certain. (LITERALLY ONLY FIVE CHAPTERS LEFT). It's been a journey, and I am ecstatic to be finally finishing it. Without all of your support, I don't think I could have gotten this far. So, here is a little something to sate your appetites until chapter 35 is ready for reading. A sweet, lovely person on Twitter named @hianeeqah made this mood board for Curse! Isn't it awesome?  I hope everyone has a splendid Monday! <3 <3

Katanaheart - YES! ASTROLOGY <3 Ever since you did those horoscopes for the Curse characters my interest in Astrology became peaked and then running across some images on WeHeartit sprouted the idea. So thank you, Kat for doing all of that for me before! And I just saw your post on discord. Thank you for the links and the advice too! <3 It's very much a WIP. The idea of them having morphing/shape-shifting powers and elemental powers is only a week old. If it's OK with you, may I message you and ask you questions if I come across something I don't understand/need advice on what would make sense for the astrology aspects?
