Yo Shadow, I found a fantastic song for the Shadow x Rush ship! It’s called ‘Kids Again’ by Artist vs. Poet, and just screams Shadow x Rush at me whenever I listen to it.

And it does fit them in certain aspects (the lyrics are so good)

I do think the third verse suits Shadowface really well though. The parts about loneliness really fits her characterisation, I think.

That song is really sweet; I've listened to it a couple times before, but I first heard it used in a Windstar x Gorsestar Warriors MAP. It's got a feeling of "good vibes", which I love. <3

It's been a long time since I've come on here so I understand if you don't remember me, but I think we used to talk when I was around! I'm coming back to the forums for at least the winter break (we'll see how long I last over the year lol) and I just wanted to drop in to say hi!
Also it's been a long time since I've read this... I'd better go back and see what I've missed! I could use some good reading!

I've been alright! Got another semester of college under my belt and I've continued expanding my writing and my reach on the internet. I have my own website now, and I also have merch (thanks to Dingoleap) <3 I'm still active on WeHeartIt and have a good amount of followers. (They have the option to post "articles" now so I've been uploading one-shots and other things). I participated in Nanowrimo with a new novel for my Forest of Kalmera series. That was a fun experience.

Wow, that's great! I'm so happy to hear you've been so active and successful! Was it your first time doing Nano? How far did you get? I've been good! There's another semester of college under my belt as well, and I've been chugging away at that! I kind of strayed from writing and art this semester, but life's beginning to calm down, and now that I have more time and inspiration, I'm ready to return! I'm excited to see what happens this semester |

Thanks. (': And no, it was my second year. I only got to 11,000 words. I still can't seem to balance college + writing too well. But I beat last year by a 1,000 so it's something.
That's awesome! That's got to feel good. I'm looking forward to seeing where that inspiration takes you!

Haha wow! 11,000 words is still a good chunk! I managed to actually get to the 50,000 mark once in high school, and wow was that a doozy! I only managed by setting 15-minute sprints... The quality was questionable, but the bulk of it is on the page!

~Absol~Wolf~Scribe~ wow that's impressive! :'O By the way guys sorry for my absence. I kinda "ran away" to a different city to take a...I don't even know if you'd call it a vacation honestly because it hasn't been all relaxing. x'D I took some time to read (and re-read) some books since it's been ages since I have gotten the chance. I've bought some new books too, two of the most recent being "An Enchantment of Ravens" by Margaret Rogerson which was simply a delightful treat of a book. If you like impossible romance and high fantasy and adventure you will probably adore it as much as I did. She manages some tongue and cheek humor as well. (which was the most surprising and delightful part about the book to be honest). I might have been inspired. I have also picked up the glorious "Brooding YA Hero: Becoming a Main Character (Almost) as Awesome as Me" by Carrie DiRisio. I haven't finished it yet but it has been both side splitting and insightful. I am returning to my home and my stories on Monday and plan on using my newfound knowledge to write Chapter 35 and post it before I return to my mountain college on the 16th!

Bring me his shell, flaming one. I want to taste it!
Yes, yes! Bring us his flesh!Ashpaw did not give me a warning for this; for how hungry the ancients in the Abyss would be for a living body. “Run, Eaglefrost!” I yell, shoving him forward as cool limbs brush up against mine; seeking, searching. “No,” Eaglefrost hisses stubbornly, but I shove him again, feeling the ancient’s presence closing in on him. “Now is not the time for heroics, you must trust me and run!” His breath picks up, the wheezing greater as he too senses the malicious presence surrounding him. He growls with frustration and runs ahead, his paw-steps echoing in a cave-like space. I turn away from him, quickly backing up, keeping myself between Eaglefrost and those unsettling limbs. “Stay back,” I warn the darkness and the creatures in it, keeping my pace, making sure I do not lose Eaglefrost behind me. He is not moving very fast. Give us a taste, little flame!

I miss the feeling of blood running down my throat…“I said, stay back!” I snarled, swiping at the shadows before me, feeling them hiss and recoil at my touch. Wretched cursed!
