(Hmm... I honestly can't even think of what they'd be, haha. I feel like Steve would be something serious. Or he'd be a civilian again because he wouldn't want to waste a perfectly good costume/he doesn't really see the point in dressing up. Or he'd be Captain America b/c he already technically has a costume XD
Bucky is usually my Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz, and I feel like I can't change that now XDD But, if we were going with younger Bucky, I feel like he'd definitely be in his soldier's uniform b/c he grew up on a base.
Logan would be my werewolf....
I had Peter be Ren from Footloose last year, but I don't know what he'd be this year... I feel like it would have to be something ironic or funny XD And people would be like, "What are you?" And he'd have to explain the joke until it was no longer funny, but he'd still get a kick out of it XD
And, John? I don't know XDD I don't know what he'd be, lol.)

Bucky will get Rocket. And Bucky will likely end up getting Rocket the weapon he's always wanted XDD
Hm... speaking of, though, which characters will we involve? I have Peter Quill, Thunderbird, Cap, Bucky, and Logan. Since Maple isn't here right now, should we just not have Rocket involved? Or just have him as a character in the story that's mentioned but not rpd?)

(I’ll go with it being today’s date, but we can time skip & stuff if we need to! Bucky & Steve are just gonna get decorations out now and start decorating xD
I’m thinking they can watch Christmas movies, cut down a tree, and string some cranberries and popcorn 1940s style xD)
Steve:
“Whose idea was it to have a Secret Santa, anyways?” Steve asked, turning to Bucky with his arms full of boxes of decorations. The box jingled and jangled as he walked, and Christmas lights and red garland dangled from the top box as he juggled them down the hall.
“Remember our families used to get together, and we’d do a grab?” he asked as Bucky followed him down the hall. “But never once have I done a Secret Santa.” He shrugged, his eyes peering around his decorations.
Bucky:
It so wasn’t a competition, but it totally was. Bucky followed after Steve, one extra box in his clutch, just to prove that he could do his friend one better. But, he knew that if it came down to it, both super soldiers were pretty evenly matched. Except, Bucky had a cybernetic arm, which would almost always win in a fight against flesh. Not that anyone was counting, heh.
He eyed Steve’s back. “Must be another one of them fancy inventions,” he said with a shrug. “But I’ve come to realize that this modern world isn’t all that bad with its gadgets.” He came to a stop behind Steve. His friend set his boxes on the floor of the living room, and Bucky did the same.
“I mean, consider this,” he continued, as they walked back down the hall to grab more boxes. “If it weren’t for modern technology, I probably wouldn’t have an arm like this.” His brows furrowed, and then he amended in a thoughtful mutter, “Then again, if it hadn’t been for modern technology and Tony Stark, I probably wouldn’t have lost my first metal arm to begin with. Anyways...”
“Anyways,” Steve interjected his friend, stopping at the attic and turning back to Bucky, “if it wasn’t for your metal arm and the super soldier serum running through our veins, we probably wouldn’t have been put in charge of grabbing all the boxes from the attic.”
But, as both Steve and Bucky would agree, military men in their own rights, it was more efficient when people were doing the jobs they were best suited for. And, while Steve couldn’t decorate for his life and Bucky leaned more towards just throwing decorations in random places, getting all the boxes from the attic and bringing them into the living room was something they could do.

Tom: And having both Steve and Bucky fetch things from the attic was actually easier than anyone else doing so, like, say, for example, Tom. Not that he was particularly good at things like that, but it would have given him a better idea about Steve. he would have liked a better idea about Steve. But he was working on it. Really. Secret Santas ... uh. One would almost think they were out to get him. But he was loathed not to put his all into something. Even still, he was half waiting for Steve and Bucky to get there, hands on his hips. "Well," he said. "On would think you all collected decorations. Honestly, it just makes me a bit concerned that it wont take til New Years to get them all up." He looked at one of the top-most boxes. "What's in there anyway? Either of you looked?" He lifted both his hands and rubbed them together. Eveline: Eveline was sitting near the fireplace. This seemed to be the usual occurrence. In fact, it seemed pretty hard to get her away from it. He was watch it, occasionally noting something down in her notebook, and then looking up again. Her words were very neat across the page, even though she didn't ever seem like she looked directly at it. "What is everyone planning?" she asked after a second. "I ... don't think I've ever done anything like this for the holidays before." She wasn't talking to anyone in particular, but she seemed quite focused on the answer, frowning a bit as she did. (So we know Tom got Steve. Any thoughts who Eveline and Percival should have got? ) |

(Hm... well, Rocket is now in the game XD And so are Maple's other characters. So... we can draw from a hat? XD)
Steve:
He set down the last box and crossed his arms, looking around at the heaps of boxes. His family Christmas' back in the day had always been warm and cozy, and he remembered his mother decorating the house. But it had never had this many decorations. He glanced over at Tom and offered a nod, agreeing with the man. "I'm not sure why there are so many decorations," he said. "But, the base is pretty big. Whoever bought all this just didn't want us leaving any space blank." His eyes travelled to one of the boxes that was particularly overflowing, and he said, "I see some Christmas lights in that one, and I heard some bulbs bouncing around when I was carrying them."
Bucky:
Bucky walked past their boxes of decorations and stood beside Eveline's chair, watching the fire. He stuck his hands in his pockets and leaned back a little. "Steve and I used to spend our Christmas' together," he noted. "Our families were pretty small and they were close. But I haven't celebrated a real holiday in a while." His memories seemed to flicker before him in the flames, and he stared more deeply into them. "We used to string popcorn and cranberries to make garland," he said. "Or, well, our mother's and my sister would," he amended. "Steve and I were usually running about. But sometimes we helped out." He took his eyes away from the fireplace and directed his eyes down towards Eveline. "I wouldn't mind actually stringing some garland this year. See what it's actually like."
