( it looks really good!)
Rainfur sat down near the Warriors den, his eyes scanned the camp, his ears pricked listening for his clan mates to return to camp.
Nightshade scented a mouse, she followed the scent keeping low and down wind. She moved quickly but silently making her way to the small creature, pausing a second to adjust her stance she pounced on the mouse she quickly nipped it neck killing the creature.

I have a character open if anyone wants to rp with me~ ))
Dreamspeckle stepped out of the warriors den, arching her backing long stretch as she let out a tired yawn. After shaking her fluffy pelt to rid it of any moss scrap that clung to it, she sat down and began to groom herself.

❈ -- Sandpaw rolled over, flattened her ears and curled deeper into the moss. Clearly Bogpaw was starting to annoy her. Finally, Sandpaw spoke up, snapping, "Can you please shut up? No cat wants to hear you sulking over your punishment. Some cats want to sleep." Sandpaw glared at the tom, wishing she could have her own private den like her leader. Why can't some cats follow clan rules? It makes them happy and also keeps others happy.

❈ -- Sandpaw hissed when he mentioned she was a kit. "I'm only one moon younger than you!" She lashed her tail. Dumb cat. He thinks he's smarter and better than me cause he's older. "And no. I'll do when they call me. I'd rather stick around with some mouse-dung like you than go battle training... but hunting..." She faltered on the last part of the sentence. Sandpaw just turned around as if anything she had just said hadn't existed. After what seemed like twenty moons, Sandpaw turned around. "Can't you just leave and go help Spiritwing with whatever he might need help with? You know... maybe Heatherstar'll take a day off your punishment," she said, trying to sound hopeful. Let's hope he just understands and leave me alone. Two heartbeats would be beter than none.

Sorry for not responding. )
Frostpaw quickly smiled and padded out of the den. He slowed to a stop when he neared the entrance. Since he was the younger cat and the cat that knew almost nothing about the territory, he figured Oatpaw would be the one to go first. At least, he hoped Oatpaw would take the lead. The apprentice looked back, silently hoping Oatpaw had followed him and he wasn't just out here alone.
Shortheart nodded with a small smile. "Does that mean you are going back to camp or just going to sit out here?" She asked. If Honeystripe was just going to sit here, Shortheart figured she could just stack her squirrel along with the fresh kill the other warrior caught. No need to dig a hole.

"Spiritwings out already. Trust me, I would have gone to him if I could." Bogpaw responded longingly. "Anyways, its not like I was doing anything too dangerous, I was practicing swimming. What if a cat is drowning? You need to be a strong swimmer. My mentor doesn't get that, so I've been slipping out every few nights for some practice." He explained, knowing that the younger she cat thought he was just a rule breaker. Typically he wasn't, usually he was a stickler for the rules. He just didn't agree with not being able to learn how to swim. He was big enough and had the strength to keep himself out of the water.
Oatpaw glanced at the two apprentices, rolling his eyes at their argument, before following Frostpaw. He bounded over to the entrance, fur ruffled with excitement as he caught up with the pale furred tom. "Alright, its this way," He mewed, sounding more like an excited kit than a warrior. The tom barely stopped at the entrance, instead heading straight into the woods.

❈ -- "Yeah right," Sandpaw huffed. "I thought no cat enjoyed the disgusting smell of herbs." Swimming sounded fun... but in the night? Bogpaw was brainless. There could be foxes and badgers roaming around at night. Or raccoons... owls... maybe snakes too. "I see why your in camp. You're a senseless tom who knows nothing about dangerous predators and also doesn't mind getting killed. No offense, but you're also very reckless too." She didn't mind angering the older apprentice. He deserved it after all the noise he had created. Besides, he could have been plotting with another random cat to take over the clan, but just used water to mask the other cat's scent.

Frostpaw gave a troubled glance back at the two as their voices rose. He could feel his neck fur start to prickle. Hopefully Sandpaw wouldn't get into any trouble and Bogpaw wouldn't get into any more trouble. The tom's attention snapped back to the other apprentice when he spoke. He nodded silently, a bit embarrassed at his absent mindedness. He dashed after the tom. He cracked a small smile at their speed. He liked running. It was simple and one of the things he didn't mess up. Though, Oatpaw was gaining. The younger apprentice might have long legs as well, but not nearly the amount of muscle the older cat had. Frostpaw was struggling to keep the brown tom in his view. "Can...we...slow...down...please?" He said between huffs. It felt pretty pathetic, but breathing was one of those things he liked to do.
(I'm assuming Bogpaw is running and Frostpaw has a little of this kitten fat still so it would be a bit much. Though I can change this if Bogpaw is walking. )

"Look, I Know what the risks are, and if you actually knew anything you'd know it was perfectly safe at night if you're being careful, which I was.My mentor taught me how to avoid predators at night." He pointed out, trying not to let himself get ruffled. He thought of Swamppaw, his sister who had been killed by a fox only a moon ago. He couldn't believe that Sandpaw thought he hadn't considered the dangers considering his own sister had died from a fox attack. --
Oatpaw slowed down, giving the pale tom an apologetic look, "Sorry, I forgot how little you are," He mewed with a chuckle. It was good practice, working with Frostpaw, so he could be a great mentor one day. Maybe Heatherstar would let him work with Frostpaw once he was a full fledged warrior. He leaped over a fallen tree, waiting for the much smaller tom to make it on to the tree before he continued on.

❈ -- Sandpaw rolled her eyes. "Okay. Suppose you do." She paused, not answered for a moment. "My point is," she said suddenly, "that you're a mouse-brain and if you had any sense you wouldn't be in here purposely annoying for whatever fun you want to have." Sandpaw just realized how much anger she had in those words. Okay. I need to calm down. "Sorry." She looked towards the tom, and then away. "Let's just not talk about this stupid situation. Verdict: you're a mouse-brain."

❈ -- Sandpaw just huffed and turned away. Now that annoying cat was gone, she just stared at the den's wall, clearly bored. At least I have peace and quiet She sank deeper into the moss, trying to fall asleep. No use. Sandpaw sighed and started grooming herself, hoping for her mentor to suddenly come in so she could do something. Anything but battle training, though.

Rainfur padded into camp with a large ball of moss in his mouth an under his chin, he had collected it to change the moss in his nest as it was torn and a bit of a mess. He dropped of one of the ball to the medicine cats den then padded to the Warriors den and fixed his nest.

Dreamspeckle finished grooming her pelt and stood up, arching her back in a stretch again. "Hello Rainfur!" she purred when the warrior padded past her.

Rainfur dropped his ball of moss when he heard his name, turning to the source he pricked his ear in surprise," oh! Hi dreamspeckle, how are you?" The Tom said dipping his head in greeting. He was a little surprised that he had not detected the she cat when he had entered the den.

Frostpaw had to stop himself from speaking. He was not little! He was tall, or maybe average. But not little. He held up his tail and walked forward with his head held high. He blinked as Oatpaw easily leaped over the fallen tree. His pale green eyes flashed with determination. He was going to jump over the log. He crouched and wiggled. After gathering up his strength, he leaped. His claws sank into the log as he landed on the top. The apprentice took a moment to steady himself before jumping down. "Let's go." He said with a hint of pride.

Rainfur nodded " oh I am good", he glanced back to his moss ball realising he gather was more than he needed, " I have heaps of moss left over, would you like me to Chang the moss in your nest too?" He asked the she cat.

The she cat shook her head, "No thanks. I'll do it myself." she mewed, getting up to her paws and padding over to the moss pile. "I'm going hunting after this, would you like to come with me?" she asked, tilting her head as she looked at Rainfur.

Rainfur watched the she cat And listened carefully, " sure the would be great, I need to get out and stretch my legs" he meowed.
