"Slatesight is as skilled as always. I reckon it won't be long before cats'll start comin' to him first instead of me!" Peachdapple looked at the Moonstone with bright eyes.

Peachdapple gazed at the moon, deciding it was time better than any to communicate with Starclan. She looked at the glowing stone, moving to settle down and press her nose to the stone.

Peachdapple slowly opened her eyes, sighing in relief as she saw the fields of Starclan. She smiled seeing the Starclan cats. Quailsong made it a point to scamper up to her, greeting her warmly.
"I see you're doing well!" He smiled.
Hawkfury ran along the Windclan grounds, enjoying the wind. He knew Eclipsesky and his new apprentice would show up. Good for that, he supposed, but he'd leave the others to that.

Dawnpaw laid down in front of the rock. She curled up before pressing her nose to the stone. She closed her eyes and soon opened them to reveal the grounds of starclan.

Hawkfury saw Dawnpaw appear onto the grounds. He looked around, wondering where Scarstar or Berrywatcher were. He trained his fire amber eyes on the apprentice, waving his tail in simple greeting. He wasn't sure if she remembered him, he had died moons ago in the wind vortex.

Dawnpaw looked around awkwardly, not sure what to do. Perhaps since she was an apprentice that meant that cats didn't talk to her. She sighed, waiting for a leader or medicine cat to appear.

"If you're waiting for Scarstar or Berrywatcher...I'm uncertain why they haven't shown up. Hmph, rude furballs. Hm. You're Dawnpaw, yes?" Hawkfury asked her, eyes curious as he padded towards her, his dark pelt thin yet glossy and young.

Dawnpaw just looked at him. "Yea..." she spoke. Why was he talking to her? He didn't seem very relevant to her training.

Hawkfury looked her up and down, eyes thoughtful before returning to their sharp order.
"Oh yes. I see your father in you. Hmph, I didn't think I'd miss the furball till I see him in you. Ah well. Don't worry, I'm not very important for your standards, but I'd rather you not wander around. Surely they'll show up soon." Hawkfury noted.

"Take your tail and shove it up your jaws." Hawkfury snorted back with a scowl, alabiet there was no venom in his words.
"Surely you'd be able to give her any signs? Or at least relay a message for our lovely medicine cats. It's not like the cats these days respect their elders anyway." He grumbled.

"If I did, I would have said so, don't you think?" Scarstar huffed, her eyes rolled as she sat down, her unusually long tail curling around her paws. "Perhaps I'm finally getting a break from being responsible for the clan."

"Oh Rabbit-droppings. You know full and well you'd never want to stand in the back when it comes to Windclan. If you did, I'd have lost the remaining faith I had. Hmph. You die for a clan and suddenly they treat eachother like crowfood." Hawkfury's voice was deep and enraged, yet strangely calm.
He cast a glance at Dawnpaw before moving to sit next to his mentor.

Scarstar snorted softly, "It was bound to happen at some point, whether I was alive still or dead. I could have retired back to the elder's den with my last life, and the clan would have turned on each other." She meowed, twisting around to clean her fur. "To many of the young cats, I'm probably the reason the clan is in pieces. I do not stand on top of the clan anymore, I have done what I can, now all there is left to do is sit back and watch."

Hawkfury wavered with a strange air of memory. He looked at her.
"Lies. It was you who kept us together when we thought we'd be split apart...When you took over for Wolfstar, when you led us against Adderclan against the odds. I suppose some cats don't remember what we lost to stay as one." Hawkfury reminded hardly, amber eyes casting with the dedication he had never lost for his mentor.

"And how many half-clan cats came out of it? How much tension has been caused because we remained together at Highstones? Even within our own clan, there are half-clan cats who don't know they are half-clan." Scarstar reminded Hawkfury, her tail twitched, though she showed no sign of regret of her own decisions. "I supported the half-clans, kittypets, and rouges; and allowed them into our clan, because our clan was so small. Now, it is clear that the decision to do that was wrong, because the clan is tearing itself apart."

Hawkfury silenced at that. His own daughter had betrayed the code, many other warriors lying as well. He sighed, looking back at Dawnpaw. He hoped she hadn't listened too deeply to their conversation. Where were the medicine cats.
He answered simply.
"You did what you needed to...I have faith in Swiftstar." He assured.

Scarstar didn't look at Hawkfury, instead, she looked down at the ground, towards where the clans were. "The clans have survived this long, and they will continue to thrive despite the hardships." (Until Twolegs come and force Skyclan to run XD)
