Dawnshadow was a few paces behind her mentor. She signed in relief to see some other medicine cats.

Aspenfall followed behind Peachdapple, nodding at the other medicine cats. He was glad they made it out of the fire safely.

“Thank Starclan.” Peachdapple exclaimed, seeing Eclipsesky and Dawnshadow as well.
“After everything that’s happened, seeing all of you here is a relief. I’m guessing you all have been working hard too?” She conversed.

Eclipsesky nodded "Swiftstar allowed Dawnshadow and I to take two warriors out to search for new herbs. But I had an apprentice that was burned badly and Swiftstar's not in the best shape either." he mewed, thankful about the lack of borders between medicine cats. "How is Thunderclan faring?"

Snowdance sighed in relief when she spotted Peachdapple and Eclipsesky, “You’re all okay.” She mewed, giving the other medicine cats a small smile.

Eclipsesky nodded "Swiftstar allowed Dawnshadow and I to take two warriors out to search for new herbs. But I had an apprentice that was burned badly and Swiftstar's not in the best shape either." he mewed, thankful about the lack of borders between medicine cats. "How is Thunderclan faring?" “Thunderclan has...lost many of our own. They walk with Starclan now. But, many were saved as well. We had enough herbs to treat the burns for now, but we will need more soon. We are hoping that Starclan will offer some assurance in these times.” Peachdapple nodded lightly. |

Eclipsesky nodded, “I hope so as well.” He turned to Snowdance “I appreciate your clan coming to assist us. Did you see Stormfury, Thistlestalk and Poppyflame return before you left?” He asked, trying to remove the fight he had with Stormfury from his mind.

Eclipsesky lowered his head "It seems each clan lost many cats. The next gathering is going to be rough." he mewed. "I'm sorry for Shadowclan's losses, they will walk proudly in Starclan now."

Dawnshadow looked at her mentor. She wondered if they would see any of their fallen clanmates. She secretly hoped to see her mother. The she-cat never returning to them.

Dawnshadow looked at her mentor before looking away. “It’s hard..” She admitted softly. “Cheetahheart is gone.” She shook her head. “And it was scary.. the fire.”

Gray fur flashed silver in the moonlight as Troutpaw padded up the hill to the gathered medicine cats with his mentor by his side. His eyes were heavy with exhaustion and grief and the scent of freshly chewed herbs clung to his fur, some of the chewed herbs still on his fur as well.

Eclipsesky rested his tail on his apprentice’s shoulder in comfort, about to reply before he noticed Troutpaw and Specklecreek approaching. “Just in time! The sun is setting quickly.” Flickering his gaze towards Skyclan territory he frowned “I guess Lavendersky and Spiderpaw aren’t going to make it tonight. Perhaps there are too many wounded”

"I imagine so." Peachdapple mewed, concern clear in her voice. Even so, she looked up at the sky and mewed. "We should go into Mothermouth then." She decided, beginning to move towards the large crevice in the stone.

(I always think Eclipse is young but he would probably be one of the oldest non-senior warriors or a young senior warrior by now if he wasn't a medicine cat. :< my baby )

"The sky was clear, luckily. I think that the Moonstone will be bright this evening." Peachdapple murmured as she pushed her way through the familiar tunnel. She remembered the first time she was brought here, moons and moons ago, and when she had brought Heatherpaw here...then Slatesight, and Aspenfall too. It always felt the same.

Eclipsesky felt his way along the tunnels, the darkness that once scared him now somewhat comforting. “I think you’re right Peachdapple. Perhaps it will shine extra bright as we’ve gained so many new stars.” He mewed, voice heavy.
