I was actually thinking the opposite. Maybe to protect the young from twolegs hunting them, kits have a more dim glow at birth until maybe...six moons of age? So when they become apprentices, there glow is at its full brightness? But when they get older, like elders, it starts to dim?

hmm i was thinking more lighter colors for kits not neon but pastel and elders will start to dim and when they die they dont glow at all,which would protect them from trophy hunters.they become more neon when they are apprentices.

The only issue with that is the DNA strands that are being used to create the glow on the cats are similar to the colors you find on GloFish or in jellyfish (where it originated). So the colors will range from a pink-red, bright green, neon-yellow, bright blue, and a electric purple.
But you are right about the death. I'll need to add that...

Hmm fair enough so theres a base color for the cat eg black white ect and then the glowing markings that sound pretty cool. search glofish sees two glofish tied to rice labeled "Glowing sushi"

Maybe a based color...I mean, that can easily be added genetically to stop the variety of coat colors.
However, I feel that might take away from the variety of cats. I know the most popular cat color is orange while the least is the darker colors. Although it might make more sense to have only white and black cats with maybe grey...Hm...I don't know...

they can have any base coat but they still have the glow parts eg orange cat with purple glow,yeah the never glows after death is a good one and can fuel there belief that their glow is their soul and when your glow goes you end up in starclan or whatever place they go too,plus i doubt humans would like there cat too be glowing in the grave that would be weird.

So after this, it looks like we need to figure out a glossary. Are they going to have the same names for everything or will it all be called something different. I would say some things would be more scientific but then I remember that most a from a home that was over-run by cats...

Hmm maybe just make them have clan names that can be biased on colors Eg,Auzurestar,Blueshadow,Redkit ect.

Hm...Maybe...But I want to keep it as clan-like as possible. I've done a lot of non-clan type RPs recently. So I kind of want to go back but still want to put my own spin on things.

Hmm wish you could do Autumn instead of Fall but i'll let it slide.Space cats.....eh i'm making a clan soon its just i'm having trouble getting a layout (Layouts are very fancy :3) also having problems getting a banner maybe if i had a good memory i would code one myself but alas.glossary looks good though 9.5/10

Well I listed what can be changed. So Fall/Autumn = Leaf-fall or whatever?
I usually do my own layouts and banners. I don't really code much so it's easy to transfer stuff around.
