(No worries! I fell asleep after I made that last post xD)
When Milktooth came at her, Russetshade went low and swung her hide paws at Milktooth to kick her right in the chest.

Milktooth rolled away and huffed, landing on her back legs and using them to propell her forwards as she lunged to tackle Russetshade.

Fuzzypaw flicked her tail-tip back and forth idly. "I mean...we won't be alone if we have each other, right?" she perked up, pleased by her own loophole. "And anyways, it's in the opposite direction of the other Clans, so we won't run into any patrols. We can hunt while we're out, too!" she meowed. Heart flipping in her chest, she slid from the den. Technically, she apprentices weren't supposed to go from camp without a warrior. But the prey had been scarce, and with new kits, the Clan needed all the hunters it could get. Beckoning with her tail to Spottedpaw, she padded through the back entrance to the camp, toward the dirtplace. Spottedpaw thought for a moment, trying to reign in his nerves, he couldn't seem like a anxiety-ridden kit in front of Fuzzypaw, she would never talk to him again! Taking a deep breath he followed closely behind her, reminding himself how proud Mouseclaw and Spiderfang would be if he came back with prey for them, "Alright, do you know exactly where you're going? I can't help if we get lost out there and I don't want to seem like we snuck out just for fun."

"I want that for Coalpaw as well, Goldberry, but I don't believe Ashrock is capable of that." Cedarstar let out a sigh. "I'll choose someone more fitting for Coalpaw, I promise." "Since last night, after I ate. I'm not an elder, Burninghope. I can take care of my own nest, now go away!" Tumblefoot blinked in surprise at the sharpness in Cliffheart's voice. He had never heard the tom sound like that before. "We're trying to look out for you, Cliffheart, you haven't been yourself lately." "There's no point." Cliffheart tapped his tail. "Go away." Longkit rolled his eyes in lighthearted goodness for his sister and kept counting. "I'm just saying that some of the mentors are getting a little lazy with their training." Closesky huffed at Falcontalon whether the other elder was listening or not. "If I was the mentor to any of the Clan's current apprentices, I'd have them out training day and night. They'd get their rest and get their chores done and then its back to training! No more lollygagging around--Oh!" Closesky cut off when he spotted Lightkit entering the elder's den. "Why, hello Lightkit." Goldberry nodded his head, satisfied with Cedarstar's assurances. Even if Coalpaw was against it, he would need to understand that he needed and deserved a mentor that could truly help him to develop his skills. If Ashrock was not that cat, then so be it. He mewed. "Thank you, Cedarstar. I'll leave you be now. I apologize if I seemed...insistent. I just worry so deeply for them. Their happiness means everything to me." Burninghope felt a flicker of temper rise within her. In that moment though, she remembered her father's calming mews, reminding her that anger would not solve any problems. Patience was a hard trained skill, one she hoped to master as she grew older, to honor Viperpool's memory. She took a breath and released it, before she shook her head. "Fine. We'll leave you be. But it can't be a repeated event, or we'll have no choice but to tell Cedarstar and Cloudscar that you're shirking on your duties..." She shook her head, looking helplessly at Tumblefoot. "Shh!" Lightkit exclaimed, quickly scooting around the elder's den to prepare to dash out again if Longkit ran in here. "We're playing tag, and I need to win, or Longkit's going to! Oh! Hello, Closesky! I should have said hello first, sorry!" She chattered, before she quieted herself.

"We'll definitely catch something, so no one can be that mad at us." Once they'd made it a far enough distance from the camp's outskirts, she began to trot along at an easy pace, heading the direction directly opposite from the Thunderpath and other Clans' territories.

Spottedpaw hurried after Fuzzypaw, his slightly shorter legs working hard to keep up. His eyes were wide as he took in the territory once again, it was so exciting to be out of camp! Scenting the air, Spottedpaw let out a content sigh. The air was warm now and actually carried the scent of his clan and prey instead of the putrid stench of ash and fire that had plagued the air for too long. "All the new leaves and plants are so fun to look at. Do you think this many plants were here before?"

Looking up at the branches of the pines arching overhead as they padded along, she shook her head slightly. "I have no idea," she mewed. "Thistlestalk told me, once, that sometimes the forest comes back stronger than before after a fire. Maybe that's true? Maybe it's StarClan's way of rewarding us for surviving?" Parting her jaws and drawing in a long breath, Fuzzypaw also sighed at the sweet aromas floating through the air. On the breeze, she could scent the slightly crisp scent of the marsh. Glancing over her shoulder with wide blue eyes, she chirped in delight. "It's just ahead!" she meowed excitedly. Picking up her pace into a loping run, she began to move faster. "C'mon, Spottedpaw!"

Spottedpaw huffed with effort as he tried to catch up with Fuzzypaw. The she-cat several tail-lengths in front of him by the time he had started to run. His eyes grew wide as they reached the marsh. The young apprentice stopped to take in the sights of the new place that belonged to them, their clan. He took a few steps forward only to gasp in surprise as the ground turned wet and mushy. "Ew Fuzzypaw! Why is the ground like this? Is it always this wet?"

She padded away from the trees and up onto an old, fallen log to gaze out across the swampy ground. The setting sun reflected off of the puddles and pools of water between the tussocks and mounds of earth and vegetation, turning them into perfect mirrors of the blazing oranges and violets streaking the horizon. Small flowers had begun to push their way through the soil, their heads bobbing along in the slightly balmy breeze that blew over the marsh, bringing with it the distant scents of the mountains. Fuzzypaw looked over her shoulder at Spottedpaw, who was still standing at the edge of the marsh. The sun cast a glow on her fur, creating a shining halo. "Isn't it incredible?" she mewed softly, her voice full of awe.

Honeypaw gave a light growl as he misstepped on one of his practice moves. Narrowing his eyes, the golden tom quickly settled himself back into position. Oakstalk had showed him more and more advanced moves, and he refused to come to each session not being in the best form he could be. Besides, it was always satisfying to show his mentor that he could preform better than he could one day.
Lilywhisper chatted leisurely with Burninghope, the two having become quite close friends over the past few moons.

"I promise, Coalpaw won't fall anymore behind his siblings when it comes to training." Tumblefoot flicked his ear in response to Burninghope's look. He nodded toward the entrance, wanting to speak with her outside. Closesky twitched his whiskers in amusement. "oh, is that so? You and brother are very close aren't you?"

Heyo!)
Leopardshadow was outside the nursery, grooming her pelt. She had only just recently moved into the nursery now, her belly starting to show signs of kits.
Stormcloud looked over the fresh-kill pile and gave a flick of his ear. It could do with some restocking. Maybe he should go out hunting for a bit and try to bring something back for it.
Snowdance pushed out of the medicine den, carrying out some old herbs that had no use anymore. She hoped that some of the herbs have started to grow back after the fire, the medicine cat didn’t want to have a shortage of herbs when leaf fall hit.

Snowdance gave a nod as she got rid of the old herbs, “Yes, I would appreciate that, Ashrock, thank you.” She mewed, “If you can’t find everything we need, that’s alright, we’ll make do with what we have.” She pushed back into the den and looked over the herb supply with a critical gaze, “I just hope it’ll be enough.”

"We made it through last leaf bare even after that fire." Ashrock flicked the rest of the debris out of the den and shook out his tail. "StarClan willing, we'll have as few sicknesses this leaf bare. Speaking of which." He looked curiously at Snowdance. "StarClan hasn't sent any warnings about another fire or other natural disaster, have they?"

You and brother are very close aren't you?" “Thank you, Cedarstar.” Goldberry dipped his head again, before the scarred tom moved to slip out of the den. His eyes flickered curiously as he noticed how comfortable Rustlepaw seemed making her way towards the leader’s den. The blind apprentice seemed bright, sitting down patiently to wait for her mentor. Goldberry chuckled softly, before he continued onwards. Burninghope sighed as she slipped out of the den. “I don’t want to sound heartless or crass, but…agh, it’s hard not to lose your temper about stuff like this. I wish I knew how to help more.” She fretted, concern for Cliffheart rich in her voice as she mewed to Tumblefoot. “Longkit’s the best brother any kit could ask for.” Lightkit exclaimed, her eyes darting around to search for a good hiding spot. “We’re going to be the best pair in Shadowclan. He’ll be my deputy though, because I’m gonna be leader if course.”

Snowdance gave a shake of her head, “No. StarClan hasn’t said anything to me. But then again, they never said anything about the last one either.” She said, brushing away more debris, “In any case, I would like to be prepared for anything, so it never hurts to stock up on everything we can find.”

Cedarstar stood up and shook his pelt out after Goldberry left. He let out a soft sigh. A new mentor for Coalpaw. He had been putting it off, but now was no longer the case. It was nearly time for Longkit and Lightkit to become apprentices. He could name Coalpaw's new mentor then. Speaking of apprentices, Cedarstar looked toward the entrance to his den when he caught Rustlepaw's scent drifting through. He hadn't taken her out in a while. I shouldn't be slacking as a mentor either. The thought of getting back to training Rustlepaw lightened his mood. Training was so much simpler than leading. "Are you ready to go?" Cedarstar asked his apprentice as he padded out of his den.
"Maybe there's someone we can talk to about how Cliffheart is acting?" Tumblefoot flicked his ear. "Someone who would know how to encourage him better than we could?"
"You want to be leader?" Closesky twitched his whiskers in amusement. "I can't say I'm surprised. Every kit dreams of it at some point. How would you lead ShadowClan?"
Longkit finished counting and stood up to scan the camp for an idea of where his sister might have gone.
Ashrock nodded in agreement. "I'll gather every herb I find in the territory. You don't have to worry about that." He took a step like he was going to depart, but then paused and looked at Snowdance. "Isn't the half moon coming up?"

I know all the different plant scents now.” She admitted, before calming herself down, not wanting to sound overly prideful. “I’m ready.” Burninghope looked thoughtful at Tumblefoot’s suggestion, purring a bit at his quick thinking. He really did always find possible solutions. “Maybe we can ask Smokestorm? Or any of his other kits? Or one of his apprentices, maybe?” Lightkit shuffled quickly into the space between the elder’s nests, hiding amongst the moss and feathers against the den wall. “Oh! Well. I’d be a really fun leader. We can all play shadow sneak so we can be stealthy all the time. But I’d also be super strong if we have to fight the other clans! Is it true that they all smell weird?” She asked.

"Then I'll let you lead the way to the Burnt Sycamore." Cedarstar nodded to her. As confident as she sounded, he wanted to make sure she was able to maneuver around the territory on her own.
Tumblefoot flicked his ear in thought. "Well, he mentored Cedarstar, didn't he? But Cedarstar has a bunch on his plate right now." He glanced over at the leader when he spotted him exiting his den. "We can try one of his kits. They felt the loss of Owlshadow too."
Closesky chuckled at the thought of the entire clan playing shadow sneak. "The other Clans do have different scents, but that's only because their territory and prey are different from ours. Landscape has always had a part in effecting how some cats act or smell. They probably think we smell weird to them."

“Yes, in a couple days now.” Snowdance mewed, focused on the herbs in front of her as she sorted them. She glanced over at the warrior, “Opalmist and I will make the journey to the Moonstone now that there is no need for one of us to stay behind. Perhaps StarClan will have a message for us.”

She glanced over at the warrior, “Opalmist and I will make the journey to the Moonstone now that there is no need for one of us to stay behind. Perhaps StarClan will have a message for us.” Ashrock flicked his ear. He knew Snowdance meant that there were no injuries or illnesses keeping one of the two medicine cats in the camp, but he felt like since he was here, helping cover the medicine den, he could handle whatever should happen for the one night both medicine cats were out of camp. "I suppose you'll be seeing the other medicine cats too." He flattened his ears. It was no secret that gossip was a thing in the Clans, he just hoped Snowdance and Opalmist didn't complain about him to the other medicine cats too much. Him being stuck in the medicine den for this long was embarrassing enough.

"No." Ashrock snorted a bit rudely. "I'm just wondering if I'm going to have to start coming with you to those gatherings since it seems I'm becoming more medicine cat by the day." He swatted at the dried herbs Snowdance was throwing out.

Snowdance’s whiskers twitched in slight amusement and shook her head. Ashrock was right of course, when she had suggested this punishment to Northstar’s in the first place, she thought it would only continue for a couple moons, not this long, “I’ve tried talking to Cedarstar about it, but he won’t listen to me.” She mewed, “Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll be back to warrior duty soon.”
