Turtlesong let out a growl, she was tired of his mockery. She didn't care if it was Minksplash's battle, she couldn't sand this rouge. She leapt at the trunk of the tree and claws her way up before leaping at the rouge, claws unsheathed, aiming for his muzzle.

Minksplash let out a hiss and jumped, easily pulling himself up the tree with long claws and a muscled body. He didn't even wait until he'd gotten good footing before he struck, using one final leap up the tree before sinking his teeth into the fur of Lasher, his claws joining them when he couldn't find a good grip on the bark. He was only a little afraid of falling from the tree but he knew that if he went down, this rogue was coming with him, as he was refusing to remove himself from the pelt of his target. Taunting words easily got to the tom mostly because of his desperation to prove himself, even if he didn't really even have to anymore.

Reedtail hissed louder, her tail slashing from side to side angrily as she tried to stop herself from attacking the rogues like the others. Greyfoot angrily leapt into the den to confront the other rogue.

(Whoops! Sorry! I would've answered faster, but I didn't see the second page)
Lasher watch Turtlesong approach. He wasn't worried. Only one clan cat can fit on a branch with him, so it was an easy match. When the she-cat leapt at him he simply took a step back and, unsheathing his claws in a flash, he slashed at her face. This however did give him little time to prepare for Minksplash's attack. Lasher spun toward the tom and hissed as teeth sunk into his flesh. He took no time in sinking his own teeth into the other cats fur. His paws dug underneath him and shoved into Minksplash's belly. Lasher rolled sideways and gave a shove at the same time. The red bengal tom managed to push the tom off of him and quickly took advantage, leaping to higher branches. His face remained taughtingly calm, "Clan cats need a little more communication. Looks like a silly she-cat didn't get the message. No matter, how about we take this battle little higher, hm?" He said with mockery and scaled even higher into the tree, disappearing into the high branches. His shoulder stung and was bleeding a bit from the tom's attack, but so far his pride, arrogance, confidence, and fighting abilities were all in tack.

Redpaw scraped moss off of a half-underwater rock. trying and failing to keep her feet dry while doing so. She grumbled about being forced to do such a menial (and wet) task, but she did it nonetheless; skipping it wasn't worth Pineheart's punishment. As she carried the moss back to camp, she heard hissing from near the border. Redpaw sniffed the air and caught a sharp whiff of a strange cat-scent. Forgetting the moss, she raced to the battle site. She didn't know who those cats were, but they didn't smell like Clan cats at all. Redpaw ducked behind a bush to get a closer look. Sure enough, there were rogues, along with Clan warriors battling them. It looked too dangerous to join the fight, but there had to be something that she could do. She turned and intended to race back to camp and get Pineheart or something, but as she started off, her paw landed on a dead twig and it gave a loud snap. She hoped that the rogues had been too busy to notice, but she soon became painfully aware that it had not been the case.

Turtlesong moved in the air so she would land on the neighboring branch as Minksplash attacked. "You take his left and I'll take the right." She mewed as she leaped from branch to branch, climbing up the tree after the rouge. She soon caught up and was just a few branches behind him.

Greyfoot was about to attack the other loner when he saw how the fight in the trees was going. He decided to leave the other cat alone as it didn't seem to mean them any harm anyways, and walked towards the tree in which the fight was happening. Suddenly, he had an idea. He backed away from the tree, then leapt forwards, in a flash and without warning and, while he charged, shouted out quickly "Hold on tight!" just before smashing into the tree's trunk, making the tree shake.

Turtlesong, oblivious to Greyfoot's warning, felt the tree tremble underpaw and she would've lost her footing if she hadn't sunk her claws into the bark of the trunk. She looked over at the rouge to see if he had lost his footing.

Reedtail, who was busy watching the fight, turned around to look at the bushes. A little while earlier she had heard a crack, like a twig breaking under someone's foot. She had, however, ignored this earlier as she has been busy watching the fight and wondering what Greyfoot was doing. She sniffed the air, and recognised fear scent and the smell of another Clan cat. "Who's that? And why are you spying on us?" she called into the bushes, resisting the temptation to leap into them and find out for herself.
Greyfoot shook his head slowly. He felt dizzy and somewhat sick. He was sure that he had a bump on his head, but when he ran his paw over it there was nothing. He stood up, and as he did so he started feeling better. He soon felt totally normal, apart from his head that hurt where he had bashed it into the tree.

Redpaw crouched down and watched her paws carefully as she tried to slink away, but she froze when she heard a cat yell at her. She took a deep breath, trying to remain calm, but she still could smell her own fear-scent. She stayed hidden, but unsheathed her claws in case of attack.

Lasher glanced down at the Clan Cats yell. He gave a warning, why? Hearing the warning Lasher didn't grip wth his claws instead he braced and counted timing in his head. Despite his confidence a small voice echoed in a corner of his mind. This is a horrible idea..... As the clan cat smashed into the tree, Lasher leapt to a higher branch. The shake pushed him forward and also threw off his balance a bit. He landed at least two branches above where he previously was. Digging in with his claws, he heaved himself onto the branch. He had almost missed, having forgotten about the more fragile and shaky branches that were close to the top. Glancing down temporairly, he purred down at the Clan cats in a smug fashion and continued upward.

Turtlesong hurried after the rouge, pushing off against the stump on a tree and onto a higher branch, gaining on Lasher. "It'd be much easier if you just left our territory."

Lasher looked down at the she-cat and shook his head. This was like a game. He danced around the branches, jumping up and then going backwards so not only was he far above her, but also behind her. However he had no intention of attacking, he simply stood for only a moment to give a reply. He was clearly amused. "But who likes easy. I don't" He said lightly and then jumped to another branch, continuing his climb. Although soon, they'd reach the top and he'd see how great the clan cats footing really was in a shaking, swaying tree-top.

"I'm one of the best tree-climbers I'll have you now, I'll follow you to the top and beyond!" Turtlesong yowled, pushing herself so she went faster until she was at the top with Lasher. "Let's see if you should be as proud as you are!" She said, leaping at her rouge, claws unsheathed. She purposely landed short so she could easily get to the branch under him, then she thrust her head upwards hard against the rouge's stomach.

Mint walked with her younger brother Sparrow. Both cats were loners, had come to see what the commotion was. Mint and her brother were black cars with long legs. Sparrow was only the age of an apprentice while Mint would be a warrior if she were in a clan. The siblings looked alike except for their eyes. Mint's were green, Sparrows were blue. They continued toward the sound of a fight.

Lasher raised an eyebrow, "Oh? It really doesn't show" He taunted and continued his climb. He finally reached the top and smiled, he could see the sun. It was a nice veiw, but he'd just enjoy it later. He grunted with the she-cat hit his stomach. "Bad move" He said lightly and simply dropped down on her back, he raked his claws down her pelt and then spun around. Instead of sticking around on his vantage, he shoved off the she-cat, pushing on her roughly, hoping to shove her from the branch. He landed, three branches below their original spot and padded out to the end of the branch. If she leapt at him now he would simply fall flat and shove her over his head and out of the tree.

Her back stung as he racked his claws along her back. Then, as he shoved her, she used the momentum to twist her body so she'd land neatly on a nearby branch. She leaped at him again, shoving him in the side as she did so.

Mint's ear twitched as they got closer, she signaled Sparrow to stay back, but the cat was almost an adult and not really keen on listening to her. He followed at her side. Mint's eyes narrowed when she spotted the battling cats in the trees. She recognized all of them, since she had been in the forest for some time. It looked like another rogue was causing trouble. "We should help him." Sparrow said, his eyes already glittering with excitement. Mint's laid her ears flat. "No."

Lasher was about to move on his back when she shoved him to the side. He made a quick twist in the air and dug his claws into the bark, sliding backwards toward the tree. He looked at her with a glitter in his eye. "Nice timing, a bit slow though, I'd work on your muscle if I were you" He said, climbing into a higher branch, moving to the right and then going lower again. "Maybe the brain too, it seems to need work as well" Lasher added with a slight sneer. His first comment was sheer compliment, coming from a cat like him anyway. But, because of his personality, after the compliment always came an insult. If your a stranger to him that is.

"Let's put that to the test, bet you can't catch me!" The pretty she-cat challenged dashing to the very edge of the branch and leaping fearlessly to the next tree, the gap was about a foxlength and a half wide. She dashed from branch to branch, ricking a quick glance back to make sure he was following.

Mint watched as the two cats shot off and raised from her crouch in the brush. "See? You can't just rush into things." She chided him. Sparrow was glancing longingly at the disappearing cats. "Mint, why can't we be in a clan?" He asked. Mint flicked her left ear which had a nick from a previous fight. "Sparrow I will not argue with you on that again. Now come on, we need to find prey." The black she-cat began padding forward, Sparrow sulking behind her.

Lasher stopped and looked at her with surprise. Her action taking him by surprise so much that his calm, well practiced mask of cool simply melted off. The gesture seemed almost playful, but his mind told him there was a more dangerous reason for her sudden change in tactic. However, her challenge was tugging at him. Lasher saw her look back and shook his head putting the mask of calm back over his face, the challenge itself was almost irresistible. Going agains this better judgement, he leapt to the next tree. If she tried anything he would be quick enough to protect himself anyway. The prideful thought reassured him and he followed. "Perhaps there's a little wax in your ear she-cat" He said roughly, "Strength and brains are much different then speed. Which you seem to lack as well" Lasher commented, gaining back his originally sour and mocking attitude that had momentarily disappeared.

The black she-cat began padding forward, Sparrow sulking behind her. Rush, another Red bengal rogue who had been watching his brother Lasher noticed Mint and her sibling. He stood, and followed behind them. His looked exactly like his brother Lasher, only his eyes were green, unlike Lasher's blue eyes. Rush knew Mint only because he'd been here with his brother for quite some time. "Not enough entertainment, or just a little to stiff on rules?" He asked, stopping a short distance behind the two and sitting down.

Mint whirled with a hiss, a natural reaction when she was surprised. Sparrow looked at Rush in confusion and then back up at the trees. "How?" He asked, which seemed to annoy his sister who's fur hadn't laid flat yet. Mint regarded the other cat silently. He didn't have the same scent as his brother so it must be Rush, of course, Sparrow hadn't figured that out yet.

Rush looked at Mint, "A little tense?" He said lightly, but unlike his brother, his reply held no insult. He looked at Sparrow and chuckled, a tease glinting in his eye. "Well you see, I've got this crazy ability to be in two different places at two different times. Right now that crazy she-cat is out with an imaginary version of myself and I came to bother you two" Rush said enthusiastically, obviously teasing.

Reedtail looked behind her. More rogues seemed to be coming. They might need backup. So she called into the bushes. "Look, whoever you are, I won't hurt you. But could you please run back to camp as fast as you can and say a big group of rogues are causing trouble at our border, and that we need some backup? This is serious, I don't know what they want but I think they might want to take some of our territory. We can't allow that."

Mint didn't respond, but let her fur lie back. Unlike his brother Rush was less threatening to her. Sparrow looked at Mint in confusion, but he still didn't know the difference. His sister sighed and flicked her tail. "That's Rush not Lasher." Sparrow's eyes stretched a little in recognition. He chastised himself for being so foolish. Mint sat down and flicked her ears forward, despite feeling like it was forced. "What is your brother up to in those trees anyway?"
