((Lindy swells with pride and delight, and becomes devoted to serving the deity of the void))
"Uh," Lindy said, brain whirring in confusion. Someone thought her cute? The sudden compliment had her blushing and scrambling for words. "Thanks? I mean - my name's Lindy." She managed to haul herself out of her bewilderment and give the other a smile. "And yours is...?"
Riandylan beamed back. Leaving Lindy to attempt to flirt back with Shafer, they leaned forward towards Espia, who was probably trapped into watching the whole thing unfold, and signed, "Wait a moment?" before trotting along the seats and hopping on one to look over to the other side at Ari. "Hi," they signed.
Ari panicked and signed back an approximation of "What the heck!?!" "I saw you go over here a while ago. I found it weird that you disappeared and the guy you were talking to is flirting with Lindy." "You were watching me?!" "Just noticed." "That is creepy as ****." "I think it's called being observant. Did you know that Espia is super observant?" "Who -?! You know what, I don't have time for this, I've gotta move." "If you say so." Riandylan signed a good-bye and trotted back over to Lindy, who barely noticed them, standing so that they conveniently blocked Lindy's view. They grinned conspiratorily at Shafer.

Ace is now a deity and will never let that go, look what you've done, Lindy.))
The quirk of Shafer's amused smirk only grew more and more pronounced with every extra second Lindy took to pull herself together. She was really kind of cute, now that he had the time to look at her. The warm feeling in his chest might also have something to do with the fact that i thad been him to put her in this state in the first place. He sank to one knee and took her hand in one of his. He leaned forward and pressed a delicate kiss to her knuckles, drawing numerous stares for the umpteenth time. "Shafer York, of the Tla'amin Nation." Might as well go all the way out with the theatrics for his newfound BFF over there. He glanced over and locked eyes with Riandylan instead as he got back to his feet. He smiled back.

((Lindy looks confused about what she's done as she prepares a little shrine))
Great, now Lindy was back flailing in the waters of bewilderment and uncertainty, feeling heat warm her cheeks and the urge to cover her face. "Nice to meet you," she managed to squeak out, highly aware of the stares around her. "U-um, actually, do you mind sitting with me, it looks a little like... you know... with you... on your knee..."
Ari didn't make it to the end of the row of seats. He has collapsed on the floor and died of stifled laughter.
With a big smile on their face, Riandylan settled back into their seat across from Espia. "So," they signed. "What were we talking about again?"

Ace is grateful. Ace is delighted. The world weeps.))
Shafer was all around very pleased with himself. He nodded nonchalantly when he was invited to stop proposing to her. He took the offer and dropped into the seat beside her, eyes bright with intrigue. "Lindy. Is that short for anything? Or just Lindy." He smiled as he leaned forward ever so slightly and did his best to ignore the elegant chokes of laughter coming from the seats a few metres away.

((Lindy stares as the world weeps. Once again her understanding of the world has shattered. A single tear rolls down her cheek))
Lindy buried her face in a hand, embarrassed. "Oh, just short for Belinda, but I don't really like that name so Lindy's fine," she said. Her brow furrowed and she twisted in her seat. "Do you hear something...?"
Ari did a couple of breathing exercises and managed to collect himself long enough to get to the end of the row a bit more stealthily. Now was a question of where to go. He held his breath, hoping Lindy was still distracted.
Mycle's still lost somewhere out there, poor guy.

Breathing exercises, Ace is dead.))
Shafer's lips parted in an understanding, "ah." He did his best to fake confusion when she glanced towards Ari's final resting place, brow furrowed and lips pursed in a way he hoped was convincing. "Hear something? Nah, just airport noises. I actually hate this place though honestly, how long ago was this damn plane supposed to pick us up?"

((For there is no other way one can recover from nearly dying of laughter also final resting place xD rip ari))
"It just... sounded funny," Lindy said with a shrug. Her eye twitched at "damn" but she only said, "I'm not sure, probably over an hour by now." She looked over by the windows. "I think it's delayed because of the weather or something. Pity - I was hoping to get home sooner than later."
Just blend in with the crowd, Ari thought as he put his hood up and stepped out into the flow, walking as swiftly as possible.

Shafer caught that, don't think Shafer didn't catch that mini cringe when he said the word damn. Damn. Okay so maybe he could see a little of why she would annoy Ari so much, who was offended by the word 'damn' these days. Stuffy people, that's who. He leaned back and watched Ari disappear into the crowd. "Yeah, same. I've been ready to go home for the past five and a half months. It's been uh... Rough. So what were you doing in London? You don't sound like a local."

((Yikes, I gotta get to sleep - see u in the morning!))
Lindy's smile grew tight. "Oh, I just had to get a family member out of a tight spot, that's all," she said. "In fact, you wouldn't happen to have seen him, would you? He's tall - much taller than you or I - ridiculously messy hair, green eyes? He tends to look like he's on the verge of a temper tantrum?"
Operation Avoid the Lindy is a success, Ari thought smugly.

Wow I should really sleep, too but I'm not going to Not yet... Anyway! Night night, sleep well, sweet dreams, bed bugs and stuff.))
Shafer couldn't help but snort at that description of Ari, finding it to be quite fitting. He meant that in only the most affectionate of ways though. Obviously. "Yeah. I mean probably, but I didn't retain where he would've run off to." He shrugged and was interrupted by a huge yawn. "I refuse to sleep in an airport but that boundary is growing flimsier by the minute."

Lindy in particular seems rather close minded, and easily distracted. I can easily sum up her mental process from the second you mentioned magic, to the second Shafer started to flirt with her. A bold move on his part to be sure. Also, I'm guessing that the other person you talked to was her brother. Perhaps not her full brother though, its hard to tell" Espia signed.

(yo I think we can start the plot now. Soooo)
Tobias looked up and took his earbuds out as he saw people reacting, just in time to catch the last part of an intercom announcement that it was finally safe to board. He closed his laptop and shoved it back in its case before standing. He grabbed his carry-on bag and proceeded to where he would board his plane.
(all my others react similarly. Not gonna describe them all walking lol)
(also, seating arrangement, for the sake of getting some characters to interact. Format is as such: [window seat left]/[isle seat left] - [isle seat right]/[window seat right] ----- Thana / Mandy - Daniel / Gabriel Lindy / Mycle - Ari / Chul Belle / Larry - Tobias / Gene Shafer / Ayva - Kieran / Julia Mikel / Alessandra - Espia / [Espia's father?] Oakley / Riandalyn - [random NPC] / [random NPC]
With the exception of Lindy, Mycle, and Ari- who presumably bought their tickets at the same time and are therefore seated together (Espia & her father as well)- everyone is completely randomized. If you have a problem or preference please let me know.)

{ sorry for the poof. xp sounds fun, willowflower. is it kind of like karaoke than? }
Her search was cut short, someone having already answered the call. Turning toward the stranger, Mandy hugged her arms closer to her chest and bent forward onto her toes. A small smile curled at the corner of her lips and she nodded a quick greeting. In all honesty, she was taken by surprise. It wasn't everyday she heard such an accent or saw such apparel. It wasn't off-putting, not in the slightest, just wildly bizarre to Mandy and beyond interesting. She grew up in the boondocks of Northern Ireland, her mother having been born there herself. Her village was a small community and enough, it seemed, for her parents. Yet, it felt like a prison to Mandy. One she'd gladly liberated herself from. Her smile grew at the girl's quirk, friendly and goodnatured. "No," she began, "sorry." She looked the girl up and down before turning toward the window. She was sure she was being rude. "I don't think these things last that long, though. Maybe a few hours at most?" She curled her nose at the thought. "An agonizing wait, I know," she said with a small laugh. {Sorry! I haven't been able to get on for more than five minutes at a time} Belle wasn't sure if the girl was attempting to be rude or not, but by the way she looked at her up and down it made Belle want to slap her. She kept her expression calm though, even though it was excruciatingly painful inside. Belle gave her a slightly forced smile when she laughed. This girl was very confusing to her. Was she trying to be rude? Was she mocking Belle? She could not jump to conclusions yet, only watch closely. "A few hours is still a long while. I'm not usually one ta' wait." Belle shrugged and crossed her arms. "But I suppose there ain't much else to do except talk. Where ya headed anyway? Besides New York I mean." Belle raised an eyebrow in curiosity as she asked the question. A lot of other people seemed to be the city type of folk. Maybe they were looking for jobs, or a vacation oppritunity. Belle hated cities though, unless they were in foreign areas. Mainly because she knows what to expect along he east coast but in places like Germany or Japan they are very different.

((Hiya ~ long post incoming))
"Oh," Lindy said, slouching in disappointment but quickly straightening up once she realized what she was doing. "Well -" The intercom buzzed on and declared that they could board, which sent a blade of panic straight through her chest. She quickly stood up. "Shoot - I need to find him now!"
Riandylan giggled. "Yeah, I think she said he was her stepbrother." Then, as people began standing with luggage in hand, they looked around, confused at the sudden motion about them. "Why's everyone getting up?"
What now? Ari wondered as he strode along, his walking speed decreasing the farther he got. The plane might be leaving sometime soon - maybe I should go back and just hover on the other side of the room - or should I even get on? Maybe I can still figure something out... London's not too bad... maybe I'll find a rich boyfriend like Shafer - But before he could finish his train of thought he caught sight of Mycle, who was hovering uncertainly near the wall, looking around anxiously. He grinned and jogged over to him. "Hey, Mycle!" he called in delight. Mycle started violently, turning his head sharply. "Ari!" he breathed. "Thank goodness!" "Hey," Ari began, but noticed that Mycle's hand was shaking on his knee, his voice warbling through as if squeezing through a tight throat. "You okay?" Mycle's eyes widened in alarm and he quickly looked down, his hands hiding in his sleeves. "Oh - yeah - I just... got lost." Mycle turned his head as if to look across the hall, his sleeve-covered hand to his cheek. "You're sure you're okay?" "Yeah," Mycle said, proceeding to look even more miserable. Though Ari was pretty sure Mycle wouldn't tell him - they still didn't know each other that well, after all. Ari was about to speak when Mycle quickly added, "I was just worried that the plane was going to leave without me." His hand was pressed to his stomach as if he was about to get sick. "Why didn't you ask for directions?" Ari bit his lip when Mycle clutched his midsection and stared at the floor. "Well, we should head back," Ari said, trying to soften his tone. "Then you can protect me from Lindy." Mycle's lip twitched upwards. "Oh?" "Yeah, I'll just hide behind you or something," Ari said as he began walking back. Mycle snickered. "Wouldn't that be a sight." Ari grinned.
Mycle hated himself. He had stayed close to the wall as he reeled from his anxiety attack, brain scrambling for breathing techniques that were quickly sliding out the window. The sense of detachment and loss of control only amplified the surge of fear that had swept through him. As it had grown later and later, Mycle could practically feel the panic creeping up on him as he desperately ran from it, thinking if only he could navigate better, if he could just sum up the courage to ask someone, if he just caught sight of the room, if only he had taken his damn phone - but nope. As he went with Ari he felt silly for feeling so anxious. It wasn't that big of a deal, missing a flight - he'd just have to worry about another plane ticket, worry about his luggage, worry about catching another plane, worry about traveling alone - Mycle forcefully dragged himself out of the train of thought that threatened to dive into a downward spiral. He was not going to look stupidly emotional in front of Ari. During their conversation, Ari had seemed clever in a way that made Mycle feel both incredibly smart himself and pathetically foolish next to. A sneaking thought hissed that he was going to say some pretty stupid stuff, like always, in front of this guy. Yay. They made it - Lindy yelled and Ari literally crouched behind Mycle's wheelchair. It all struck Mycle as highly amusing. After things cooled down a little, he left Lindy and Ari steaming and made his way over to where he left his things and picked them up, preparing to board.
Grumbling, Ari slouched over to Shafer. "Hey," he said. "Thanks again. Didn't work out as I hoped, but still. Don't know if I'll be seeing you on the plane, so... nice talking to you, I guess."
((I am so ready))

"The plane has arrived" Espia said, as she stood up, putting her tarrot cards in a leather case with a dragon etched on it. Then she slid the case into her pocket, and headed to the gate. I wonder where Father is? He's not usually this late she thought
Larry grabbed his backpack, and rummaged through it, double checking the contents. Perfect. One less thing to worry about he thought as he boarded the plane. The odds are in my favor, but just in case they aren't, I still have my backup plan

Chul was making his way from the crowd, head high and shoulders rolled back. His black backpack sat on his shoulders, and the white and baggy sweatshirt was rather large on his lithe and well built frame. His lips were sealed shut, and hidden behind a mask that had '미소'* written upon it. His white sweatshirt had Hangul* written down the sides, and his bandname, in Hangul, over his left chest. On the back, it had WOLF written across the shoulder blades and 00 below it. Standing, he waited in line, eyes turning over the crowd and the tall man bringing out his phone where he used his thumb pads to type frantically away at it. Finishing, he looked at the group that moved past the gate and made his way onto it. The long bridge was easy, and the man soon stepped up the steps. He could only give the mention of his heart warming smile to the air stewardesses, the skin at the edges of his eyes crinkling before he took his own seat. Really, it was no big problem. He would arrive in New York City safely and meet the rest of the band members. There, they would continue to live stream to their fans and go to K-Con. However, something in the back of his mind bothered him. He took his seat next to the window, setting his bag at his feet and turning his eyes towards the windows as he blinked slowly. Thankfully... He could sleep; he needed it.
Alessandra was the short teenager- in fact, she was sure she was the shortest. Making her way through the gate, and onto the plane she was sure she was at least one of the last people on. Taking her seat, she gave a soft sigh through her nose and could only take a glance at Mikel and gave a nervous smile to Espia. Poor child- must be her first flight? Then again, she looked calm as ever. Swallowing slightly, the Italian leaned back in her seat and merely plopped her hands into the pouch of her sweatshirt, brown locks delicately over her shoulders as she did so. Her lips pursed, not really the one to make conversation right away. She would usually- but she was still recovering from a couple nights ago. Her hand raised, smearing away a stray tear that apparently didn't make it into the usual Night's crying, and gave a quiet sniffle. She hated boys- they can be so daft. Maybe it was good that she was discovering her own way now. It could be an eye opener- and who knows, she might meet her soul mate on her travels?

((hmmm... *turns to Ari* sorry, looks like I've gotta mess with time for roleplay purposes *sticks Ari in a time bubble so he can still talk to Shafer and zooms forward to when Ari and everybody boards*))
Ari had fallen into a grumpy mood as he boarded the plane, zoning out as he followed Riandylan (who was skipping and looking around excitedly like a little kid). He could practically feel Lindy's glower burn at his back. Just walking down the cramped aisle looking for his seat made him feel oddly sad - perhaps it was just more in his face than ever that he was going back. He sighed heavily as he slumped into his seat next to some other guy, staring boredly in front of him as Lindy helped Mycle into his seat across the aisle. Well, at least he could always lean over and chat with Mycle. And sitting next to a stranger was miles better than sitting next to Lindy. Ari shuddered - how annoying would that be? He looked over at the guy next to him - man, he wished he had the window seat. He glared at the window as if it was all its fault.

Heyy, sorry, I kinda just wanna stick Shafer on the plane lmao))
"Yeah, don't worry about it. I did my best." Shafer grinned and got to his feet abruptly to sling his arms around the other boy's neck and drag him into a crushing hug. He pressed an all-too loving kiss to his cheek before he released him and pranced off to gather his stuff and get on the stupid plane. He found his seat without much trouble. Yeaaah, window seat. He grinned and shoved all his stuff into the upper cabinets before taking his seat and immediately plugging his earbuds in, deciding that he'd be just fine skipping that whole safety presentation those flight attendants always did. It wasn't like the plane was going to crash or anything, that like. Never happened.
