Long titles R us
Umm, yes. We all know the basic of a winged cat rp is. So I had this idea that maybe we can have different types of wings than birds. Like ant wings, butterfly, and bat.
I have made clan before on the old forums. I know I have a kit status, but that is just because I joined recently.

Thanks. I didn't think I was going to get people.
I was thinking they would live in an area like the Scottish highlands. Lots of high hills and rocky terrain with not too much plant life except around the water and lower altitudes.
No name yet. I usually do that last as it seems to change though the planning process. Though I'm up for ideas.

I think another tradition would be kits can be an apprentice when their wings come in. I would like if they didn't have wings until they were for moons.

Territory
The SwiftClan territory is very extensive. There is no end to the mountains and fields. They don't really keep an actually border since no clans are near them and the rest of the wild life doesn't pay attention to the border.
They live in the highlands. This means there are plenty of hills and valleys. Also some open fields and rocks. There is a forest, but usually too far away to actually visit.
The Spine
The Spine is a mountain range. The mountains are tall and steep. Most of them are topped with snow and have very little foliage. It is a pretty sparse place with very little of everything except snow and wind. It is pretty dangerous to fly there and only experienced fliers should go.
Apprentice Cliff
On one of the more rocky hills, is a large, sharp rock that juts out of the earth. It is like a mini pride rock. Either way, the wind isn't normally strong since it is protected by the spine and other hills.
Sky Mountain
Perhaps the tallest mountain in the Spine. It is not very steep, but rocky and tall. It is a magnificent mountain. An apprentice and the leader will fly or walk up the mountain until reaching the cave. Inside the cave, they are to sleep and receive a dream from StarClan for guidance.
River
In one of the valleys, there is a large and shallow river. It doesn't flow very quickly or strongly unless it rains. This is a nice place to fish or to rest on the rocky and sandy shore.
Ruined twoleg nest
Not too far away from the camp, is an old cottage. There is no furniture and it is fairly small. There is only three rooms, only a main room, bedroom, and bathroom. The roof is still intact so it is a nice place to take shelter.
Camp
The camp is an old, stone castle. It isn't giant. The castle has plenty of rooms and cats are allowed to sleep wherever they want. The only room cats are not allowed to sleep in is the Throne room. It is a room with a high ceiling and plenty of room. It is really only used in meetings. The halls are pretty narrow. The rooms are pretty large and there are windows, but it still feels closed in. Luckily for them, there is a small, grassy courtyard. It has a single tree and a well. The prey is gathered and placed in the storage room not too far away.

SwiftClan are very prideful clan that honors the skilled, in both power and speed. They are suspicious of outsiders and normally never let them in as they can't fly. Most of the clan loves to fly and finds it to be the most useful skill. They usually have lean, small bodies with short, thick pelts in order to reach even greater speeds. Though some do have larger bodies and longer fur.
This clan's wings vary. They can have bird wings, insect wings, and bat wings. They have all different shapes and colors. Most of them somewhat match the cat's fur, but there are always some oddities. Bird wings are often known for being powerful and sometimes even silent. They are great for the larger cats that need something strong to lift them off the ground. While bat wings have more flexibility and can grip onto things. White it is more difficult to twist and turn in the heavier feathered wings, it is easy to shape the wings to change direction. Insect wings don't have the power or flexibility of other wings, but they do provide speed (aka ant wings/wasp wings) or beauty(aka butterfly wings). They aren't the best long distance fliers, but they have their uses.
