Welcome to SwiftClan
As told by the current leader
Yes, welcome. I suppose you don't know much about the clan. Well, I'm not too sure who spawned this little clan, so I don't really have a good story to tell you about that. But that doesn't matter too much. Swiftclanners take pride in their current actions and are loyal to the core. When you made a friend with a Swiftclanner, you have made a friend for life. See, the wind is dangerous. It changes in a wing beat. When you are flying, you need someone up there you can trust. Someone who can catch you or help you land if the wind gets rough. Another thing 'bout us is that we have wings...if you haven't guess that. But not just those feathered wings. We have cats with all sorts of wings. Some have bat and some have ant wings. There is even some who have butterfly wings. So that is what makes us SwiftClanners. Welcome again.

Rules
1 - Follow the forum rules.
2 - Please be active. I don't want people joining then disappearing. However, I will be pretty lax on this rule as long as you aren't in a high position.
3 - Literacy. I want more than a one liner and correct grammar/spelling. Put some thought and emotion into the post.
4 - Characters. Obviously, it is going to be hard to keep realistic characters on here since they already have wings and such, so realistic colors or patterns may be hard. 'cherry' Still, try to keep off of outrageous colorings like purple or green. As always, try to have your character be flawed in both fights and personality. It's no fun rping with a perfect character who always wins.
5 - This goes without saying but be nice to others. You character doesn't have to be nice, but out of character, there should be no fighting. I do not want to get this rp deleted.
6 - LGBTQ+ characters will be accepted. If this is a problem, don't join.
7 - There is a password in the rules. It looks like this ---> 'password'

Territory
The SwiftClan territory is very extensive. There is no end to the hills, valleys, and fields. There are plenty of rocks scattered around and the soil is also rocky. There is a forest, but usually too far away to actually visit for one day.

The Spine
The Spine is a mountain range. The mountains are tall and steep. Most of them are topped with snow and have very little foliage. It is a pretty sparse place with very little of everything except snow and wind. It is pretty dangerous to fly there and only experienced fliers should go.

Apprentice Cliff
On one of the more rocky hills, is a large, sharp rock that juts out of the earth. It is like a mini pride rock. Either way, the wind isn't normally strong since it is protected by the spine and other hills.
 Most mentors take their apprentices to learn here.

Sky Mountain
Perhaps the tallest mountain in the Spine. It is not very steep, but rocky and tall. It is a magnificent mountain. A cat wishing to speak to StarClan should climb the mountain until reaching a cave. Inside the cave, they are to sleep and receive a dream from StarClan for guidance.

River
In one of the valleys, there is a large and shallow river. It doesn't flow very quickly or strongly unless it rains. This is a nice place to fish or to rest on the rocky and sandy shore.

Ruined twoleg nest
Not too far away from the camp, is an old cottage. There is no furniture and it is fairly small. There is only three rooms, only a main room, bedroom, and bathroom. The roof is still intact so it is a nice place to take shelter.

Camp
The camp is an old, stone castle. It isn't giant. The castle has plenty of rooms and cats are allowed to sleep wherever they want. The only room cats are not allowed to sleep in is the Throne room. It is a room with a high ceiling and plenty of room. It is really only used in meetings. The halls are pretty narrow. The rooms are pretty large and there are windows, but it still feels closed in. Luckily for them, there is a small, grassy courtyard. It has a single tree and a well. The prey is gathered and placed in the storage room not too far away.

About Joining
First of all, thank you for considering!

Second, do not join with a cat who was born an outsider. Ask me first if you really want to have one.

Third, wings. This clan's wings vary. They can have bird wings, insect wings, and bat wings. They have all different shapes and colors. Most of them roughly match the cat's fur, but there are always some oddities. Bird wings, or feathered wings, are often known for being powerful and sometimes even silent. They are great for the larger cats that need something strong to lift them off the ground or smaller cats looking for speed. While bat wings have more flexibility and can grip onto things. While it is more difficult to twist and turn in the heavier feathered wings, it is easy to shape the wings of bats to quickly change direction. Insect wings don't have the power or flexibility of other wings, but they do provide speed (aka ant wings/wasp wings) or beauty(aka butterfly wings). They aren't the best long distance fliers, but they have their uses.

Last, please make a warrior for every apprentice. Warriors come first when making an odd number of characters, ex two warriors and an apprentice is good, but one warrior and two apprentices is bad.
