Sharpwind was so concentrated on catching the squirrel that he had forgotten that Blossomshadow was there. He smiled sweetly and spoke. "Hm, well... I guess anything is fine, but catching a bird or something in flight would be pretty impressive! I wouldn't expect you to do that though." The warrior quickly corrected himself, "I didn't mean that in a rude way! I just meant that you don't have to catch it, it would still be fine with me." The light gray tom sighed and laughed a little, embarrassed about his choice of words. Tigerkit bounded up towards Featherkit and Frostkit, meowing a bit harshly, "I thought we were playing cat and mouse? What is going on?" He hadn't interacted with his littermates often, so it was a bit hard for him to adjust to talking in a way that would be socially acceptable. In the little kit's mind, he was determined to improve his relationship with his siblings before their apprenticeship. Frostkit turned her head at one of her brother's meows. Tigerkit?She asked herself, then nodded in confirmation. She still thought all her brothers sounded so similar. "We are. Mommy is going to bring us back food." She explained, not directly looking at him. |

"Okay. Thanks." Tigerkit meowed, "I guess I am hungry." He wanted to move on from this subject, a bit embarrassed that he had asked about the game when he just had to wait a little bit. Because of this slight embarrassment, he tried looking away for a little bit. Tigerkit tried to start a new conversation and spoke, "Well Frostkit, what do you want to eat?" "Hm....I like the really chewy meat...it's a bit...um.. rough on the tongue. I don't remember the name...shrew maybe?" She answered, taking no notice of her littermate's awkwardness. "I sort of miss milk though...thats always going to be the best." She licked her lips, imagining the taste of the creamy liquid pouring down her throat. "Do you have a favorite?" She questioned back with a small smile. |

"Hm, maybe it is shrew." Tigerkit then continued, "I like... birds. I'd like to catch one one day! Or maybe a snake. Snakes and birds are hard to catch, right?" The brown tabby smiled, his eyes gleaming with ambition. Like many other cats, he wanted to be the best cat he could be. "Pfft, we can tackle those nasty snakes and huge birds together! !" Frostkit squealed excitedly, bouncing up on her paws. "I can't wait to become an apprentice...but that's nine lives away..." |

"You'll get there! I believe in you." Tigerkit was warming up to Frostkit and Featherkit, quite enjoying their presence. When trying to reassure Frostkit, he wasn't sure if it was okay to mention her blindness or if it was rude. Its not like he was going to insult her for it, just tell her that her blindness won't stop her from being a great warrior. She nodded in agreement, her tail curling up in the air. "We'll all become the best warriors of the clan!" She vowed, lifting her head up, her nose pointing at the nursery ceiling. |

Blossomshadow shook her head, a smile appearing on her face. "You're so funny when you're embarrassed," She chuckled. She lifted her nose, trying to scent if there were any birds around. She could hear chirping, though it was very high up in the trees, and Blossomshadow felt rather uneasy about climbing up so high. A scent did hit her nostrils though. She felt a growl exit her throat as the odd scent of snake entered her nose. "How do we get rid of one of those?" She whispered, spotting the snake a few yards away, its tongue tasting the leaves in front of it.

"Let's just keep in mind that it's here and move on," Blossomshadow meowed, getting to her paws and heading in the opposite direction. "Grab your prey and let's make our way back to camp. We will make sure to mention the snake to everybody."
