"Uh, yeah. I... I guess I overreacted. There was no need to cut you out of my life." Maplerose examined her herb storage as she spoke to him, examining which herbs were needed. "Okay, I need dock, marigold, catmint, and cobwebs. If you are unsure about what they look like, just ask and I'll tell you."

"Okay, then are we ready to go?" Maplerose nuzzled him for a few moments before standing up. "We can take any extra herbs along the way..." The calico she-cat was glad to have Kestrelwing by her side. The medicine cat was unsure if she was developing feelings for him or not, but she tried to ignore those thoughts. She was a medicine cat, and she was willing to give up a happy family with Kestrelwing to stay loyal to the warrior code. A small part of Maplerose's mind doubted that for a second before she tried to get rid of those thoughts.

"Thank you." Maplerose smiled before walking out of the medicine cat's den. "First, we'll go to the Crystal Lake. There's going to be some marigold there. Along the way, let's try to gather some dock and cobwebs. Dock is most likely going to be found in leafy areas while cobwebs.. Well, mostly anywhere I guess." The feline continued, "We'll find catmint if we're lucky." Again, the calico she-cat was showing off her knowledge to Kestrelwing. She still couldn't tell if it was to impress him, or if she just said it to explain to him. Maybe both. Maplerose didn't know what to think.

Maplerose smiled at Kestrelwing's compliment. She spoke, "Thanks Kestrelwing, and I'll lead the way." The calico feline started to make her way out of camp. She stopped at the entrance, waiting for the other warrior to catch up with her. "Remember to keep your eyes open for dock and cobwebs! I doubt we'll find catmint, but... We can try. Maybe we'll try to go to the twolegplace for some catmint... I don't know though... Should we?"

Maplerose blushed a bit at his compliment, but she tried not to think too much about it. "And yeah... I do need those herbs. I'm running low on them. I just hope no one gets greencough, since we don't have catmint to heel them." The she-cat was examining the area as well as she walked towards the direction of the Crystal Lake. "Back to my question, do you think we should go to the twolegplace to try and gather catmint?"

(By the way, what age is Kestrelwing now? Also if you want to make any updates to his looks and/or appearance since he's a warrior now, just make a new form on the joining page)

"Yeah, I'm really hoping no one does catch it." Her eyes glanced into the direction of a spiderweb created between two trees. Maplerose purred, "Okay hold on, let me get these." The feline clawed the cobwebs apart, trying to roll the sticky webs into a ball. The she-cat then grabbed a nearby leaf, wrapping it around the webs to avoid getting it stuck to her paws and fur. "Okay, let's continue." Maplerose collected the wrapped webs and stood alongside Kestrelwing.

"It's fine." Maplerose purred, brushing against him for a few moments before moving apart from him. The she-cat hummed quietly, keeping her eyes open for any dock or cobwebs. The medicine cat smiled as she walked alongside Kestrelwing. Sometimes she wondered if she would break the warrior code to return Kestrelwing's feeling, but she tried to wipe away those thoughts the moment she gained them.

"Nice!" She smiled at him, gazing back at him. The medicine cat seemed to be distracted by Kestrelwing, looking at him for a while. Maplerose snapped out of it soon and meowed, "Uh.. Sorry." The calico feline looked away for a few moments, flustered and her face tinted a red color from blushing.

"I.." Maplerose was caught in the moment, and once she realized what she was going to say, she quickly changed her phase. "I.. I know. Let's just continue looking for herbs now, okay?" The medicine cat was flustered, and she quickly got up and started walking. The feline didn't look back at Kestrelwing, afraid to show her blush-filled face.

Heatherstripe suddenly came in and grabbed a large vole for the four kits she has. "Here Clearkit, Tigerkit, Frostkit, and Featherkit. A large vole for all of you, but don't eat more than you can handle because Maplerose isn't here right now.", mewed the queen as she saw Featherkit and Clearkit start eating the vole slowly though. "Thanks mother! Where is daddy?", asked Clearkit to her. "Doing his deputy duties Clearkit.", purred the queen s she gave a happy sigh to them.

Kestrelwing grabbed the dock and went against Maplerose softly. "I think you like me as well, by the looks of your face Mapleorse.", Kestrelwing teased her as his hazel eyes scanned for cobwebs or any useful herbs. The tom licked her ears softly and softly purred to himself and thinking about his warrior duties. He knew the relationship was forbidden, but maybe it could work out for them. "Maybe we can keep a secret Maplerose.", whispered the warrior to the medicine cat as he nosed her cheek.

"No problem Frostkit, anything for you sweetie.", purred Heatherstripe quietly and heard her sigh. Her ears flicked a bit and told,"Maybe he will come and visit today Frostkit and Clearkit." Heatherstripe then saw Clearkit lay by her with his stomach looking full.

"Great , do tackle him, so he can get a big surprise.", purred Heatherstripe as she touched her little shoulder with her nose softly. Clearkit jumped on Heatherstripe's tail like it was a snake. Featherkit continue eating the vole their mother brought them.

Heatherstripe nodded or Frostkit. "Sure when he comes in hide nest and I will bring him to the nest and jump up and attack him.", suggested the queen to the blind she-kit. Clear kit's ears flicked hearing the idea. "I want to help as well Frostkit!", mewed Clearkit loudly in protest. Featherkit just continued eating and just shrugged and will go along the idea.

(Ayeee when should Stormgaze jump in? Haha he would smother his kits with love)

"Sounds good, just tell me when we're beginning. We can start off fairly then." Sharpwind noticed Blossomshadow's pace quickening, so he started trotting a bit faster to match her speed. He wasn't going to let her win again, since now he was in a competitive mood. The light gray tom reminded himself not to trip over anything and cause his own failure.

Maplerose was silent, a bit surprised at what Kestrelwing had suggested. She wasn't sure if she wanted to take part in this or not, her heart felt as if it was being tortured. The medicine cat was beginning to develop feelings for the young warrior, but another part of her heart told her that she would be loyal to her clan and never break the warrior code. Maplerose didn't reply to Kestrelwing, trapped in her own thoughts as she padded along the path.

"An ambush? That'll be fun! I bet we could defeat him in just a few swipes!" Tigerkit yowled, "He is no match for us!" It was obvious that Tigerkit was now more happier than usual, taking a liking to his siblings. The kitten was glad to have opened up more towards his littermates, realizing that it could be fun to play with them.
