Froskit flinched away from her mother's tongue, flattening her ears. "Mommy! I just woke up!" She protested, The kitten wiggled under Heatherstripe's paws, to escape. "Now you'll never catch me!" She exclaimed.

Frostkit, hearing her sister's pawsteps after her, turned around and batted at her ears with one paw. She rolled onto her back, cold nursery floor slightly surprising her.

Frostkit giggled when she felt Featherkit climb on top of her. She she narrowed her eyes playfully and let out a growl (or at least what she thought was a growl. More of a squeak)

(Sorry for the poof! That might happen a bit tonight.) "Not for long!" Frostkit gently pushed her sister off with her hind paws, quickly trying to scrabble to her paws before shes jump back onto her.

Frostkit closed her eyes, inhaling deeply through her nose and purred loudly, the rumbling almost racking her small body. "So far, it seems I have..." She meowed slowly, creeping around Featherkit in a circle. She could feel a cool breeze from outside whisk her fur and she paused to shake her fur, wiggling her nose.

Frostkit tilted her head as the scent of her mother faded as she kneaded her paws into the moss. "I'm so excited to try actual fresh kill!" She squealed, "We're now big kits!" Frostkit's stubby tail swished excitedly against the moss, catching some onto her tail fur.

Frostkit tilted her head again in confusion, turning to face Featherkit, "I'm going to be a warrior, like you and our siblings." She meowed slowly, flicking her tail. What a silly question! I'm going to be just like our parents- brave, noble, and strong one day! "Why do you want to be a medicine cat?" She asked, wondering where this conversation was headed.

(I don't know, I'll have to role play her a few more time to get the jist of Frostkit's character. But we'll see what happens. Whatever Honeystar says, I'll go with. So if she ends up medicine cat apprentice, than thats cool. But for me, too early to tell.) Frostkit, briefly forgetting the moment of awkwardness, let out a giggle, feeling her sister's namesake fluffy tail dance across her nose. She reached up a paw to bat at it, pinning down her sister's soft tail.

Blossomshadow purred. "That was great! You didn't give up, so nice job." She got to her paws. "What should I try and catch now?"

"Oh!" Sharpwind was so concentrated on catching the squirrel that he had forgotten that Blossomshadow was there. He smiled sweetly and spoke. "Hm, well... I guess anything is fine, but catching a bird or something in flight would be pretty impressive! I wouldn't expect you to do that though." The warrior quickly corrected himself, "I didn't mean that in a rude way! I just meant that you don't have to catch it, it would still be fine with me." The light gray tom sighed and laughed a little, embarrassed about his choice of words.

Tigerkit bounded up towards Featherkit and Frostkit, meowing a bit harshly, "I thought we were playing cat and mouse? What is going on?" He hadn't interacted with his littermates often, so it was a bit hard for him to adjust to talking in a way that would be socially acceptable. In the little kit's mind, he was determined to improve his relationship with his siblings before their apprenticeship.
