Cedric picked up on both Kaz's hand and her reaction to it. He knew that his little brother had found himself a potential love interest, but he also wasn't comfortable leaving his brother with someone who gave him such a bad feeling. He decided to prod a little more. He let go of his sword and leaned against the wall. "Alright, nice to meet you lady Alice. Anyways back to my original intent for this trip. Kaz, you know Wisp the court herbalist, I think I'm growing rather fond of her. She is an interesting lady. Now she dod almost almost kill me, but It was an accident. How was she supposed to know I am allergic to fire pear juice. I also came to check on you. You have been acting rather depressed lately, and I wanted to make sure you were ok. I know we dont get to see each other much, but you are my brother, and I do love you and care about you." He leaned forward and whispered in his brothers ear, "Remember you are a gentleman, and she is a lady. Uphold your integrity." Cedric walked towards Alice and leaned down and whispered in her ear. "I don't know who you are, but I am choosing to believe my brother. Understand if you hurry baby brother in any way, there Will be no force on the planet that will stop me from finding you. Take care of him. Understood?" Cedric then walked to the door. "I will see you two later." he said as he left the room. He walked down the hall and asked one of his guards who frequented the stable. "Have they hired any New people. Particularly one named Alice?" "No, your highness. Why?" the guard responded. "Nothing. I will just leave it alone." He said returning to his own bedroom.
(that was fun. But I think Cedric is done with those two. Keep it up and if you ever want to have Cedric back just ask me.))

(I think it would be hilarious if later in the rp, when Alice and Kaz get to this point, are about to kiss and then Cedric just comes in like: "Anybody wanna play chess?!" Lol, I would be laughing so hard)

(Sure :3 And yeppers, it was pretty awesome xD)
Archer sighed and ran a hand through his hair. As Head Guard, multiple responsibilites fell on his shoulders. At the moment he was sat in the library, stacks of books scattered around him. There had been multiple reprts of a rabid animal raiding homes. Killing huose-hold pets and such. Archer himself believe it to only be a rumor. A story some reckless child tossed to the wind to have a bit of fun scaring villagers. But all the same, he had to investigate. Archre snatched up another book. Two villagers said it looked like a warthog. One said it had a mane like a lion and large paws. One said it had eyes and a snout like a snake. So far there weren't any books about snake-eyed, lioned maned, pawed warthogs.
(I'll post somethign for Wisp if anyone wants to roleplay with her)
Wisp pulled her stachel over her shoulder and moved at a fast walk back to the castle. The guards had been questioning her quiet a bit on her accidental almost killing of Cedric. Turned out he was the prince. Not a guard. Wisp felt utterly foolish and was exhausting from the un-ending questions from the guards and such. Theyseemed to be keeping a close watch on her as well. Like they thought she actually tried to kill the prince on purpose. Wisp quickly shoved aside her negetive attitude. But the prince didn't die and that was good! She sat herself down underneath a large oak and pulled two large, magma colored pears from her satchel. She'd managed to find two fire pears, which was lucky enough. But she wasn't sure how much juice she'd actually get out of them. Hopefully enough to continue her experiments. Without testing them on anyone of course.

Aspen dashed off from Ameenas side suddenly, the long-legged greyhound spotting Archer, the dog being rather fond of the Head Guard. The pale canine leaped at the guards back, letting out a howl before he leaped. Aspen was young, still considered a juvenile, and had way to much puppy energy in him for his own good.
(Merk I work in about 10 mins so I'm gonna have to poof for a couple hours and it really is!) Archer yelped as something howled and crashed into his back. The book in his hansd fell rather roughly to the ground as she jumped to his feet. Archer quickly relaxed when he realized it was simply Aspen. Normally the dog was with the princess. He glanced about, having failed to spot her, Archer turned back to the dog. "Hey Aspen" He cooed in a playful voice, reaching down and giving the dog light pats on his head. Archer bent down and plucked the dropped book from the floor. He playfully wagged the bok by the dog. "You aren't supposed to startle peaceful readers like that Aspen. Such bad manners" Archer said with a lopsided grin, shaking his head at the pup.

Cedric raced around the castle trying to find Wisp. He felt bad that everyone was giving her a hard time. He felt guilty because he had lied to her. When he did find Wisp He saved happily. "Wisp can I talk to you?" he asked approaching her. He had his brother and the mystery girl on his mind as well but right now he wanted to talk to Wisp. "I'm sorry for lying to you.
(Dime, I tried to wait for you, but I really wanted Cedric to be apart of their adorable story.)

(That's alright Tardis Its hard to wait for a week to roleplay so it's okay xD) Wisp jumped at Cedric's voice. She'd thought she was alone. She looked up at him with a small smile and quickly put the fire pears back in her satchel. It wouldn't be very good if he had another reaction. She under enough suspicion as it was. Wisp smiled lightly and shrugged, "If you'd like to your Highness." She said lightly and scooted over. Wisp frowned a bit at his apology, she brushed her hair from her face and gave a small shrug. "I'm not mad your Highness. It was hardly proper of me to perform experiments on you, I should've known who you were the minute you stepped through the door. It was my mistake not yours." Wisp said softly. Archer looked at his now sopping wet fingers. He made a disgusted face, "Aspen! That's disgusting!" He said with a small laugh, reaching for the dog to wipe the slober back on him. But the dog was wiggling a bit to much to actually wipe it on him. Archer shook his head as he saw the dog eyeing the book. "Ah, no, that's not a toy. The King would have my head if he saw you chewing on the precious books in his library." Archer scolded though his tone was hardly serious. He tucked the book behind his back and squatted down to the dogs level. Archer hadn't seen the princess enter yet or he would've stopped talking to the dog. It seemed quite silly to some if you talked to a dog as though it were a person. Archer did it often.

"Still I was more focused on having fun I was forgot that there could be consequences for you. I lied because I liked having someone who treated me as an equal not as a prince. You don't have to call me your highness. Cedric is fine by me" he rambled. "Look I enjoyed spending time with you, and I enjoyed helping you. Would you be willing to teach me more about herbs and healing?" Cedric did enjoy his little adventure with her even though he almost died. He rubbed his arm where the reaction first happened, and smiled softly. He wanted a friend who wasn't assigned to him. He wanted a friend who chose to be with him. He looked down at her eagerly, his eyes were sparkling with anticipation.

Wisp's smile brightened a bit. Most people avoided the herbalists work. Thinking it was boring. But he didn't, he even seemed to be interested. And she didn't have many people that admitted to enjoying spending time with her. Wisp plucked at a small strand of grass and chewed her lip in thought. Finally she sighed as though to say no. She stood, "Well, who am I to deny the prince what he wants." She said with a bright grin, giving him an exaggerated curtsy. "If you'd like to learn then I can't refuse you. I'm here at you beckon and call your Highne- Cedric" Wisp said, quickly correcting herself. She smiled lightly, "What would you like to learn?"

Cedric tried to hide his smile when she agreed to teach him, but his excitement burst through and he grinned from ear to ear. He thought about it for a minute and then made his decision. "I would like to learn how you experiment, and how to find new herbs."

Archer practically jumped to his feet when he heard a sound. Someone was listening. He pushed himself to his feet and looked around. Spotting the princess in the rows of books. Archer had to hold back the embarrassed flush that threatened to break across his face. Instead and set the book to the side and leaned against the chair. "Needing something Princess?" He asked casually with a crooked smile.
Wisp smiled, "Well, I'll start with finding herbs first, because that's the easiest." She said, sitting back down. She leaned against the oak tree and began her shrt explaination. "First, I always consult the library. It has herb records that go centuries back. I read through and if there is any herb that I've not heard of, or one we don't have. I go looking for it." She said pulling her newest book out of her satchel for an example.

Ameena smirked, pushing down the urge to let out a squeak and run away. She could tell by Archer's body language that he was a bit embarrassed by being caught talking to Aspen like a human. She let out a soft whistle and the greyhound immediately stopped playing and went to his masters side, eyes not leaving the book Archer had set aside. She rubbed the juveniles ears for a moment, before responding, "I was just looking for Aspen. I'm sorry if he was... bothering you." She chose her words carefully, not wanting to embarrass the poor guy any more than he already was. She almost told him not to call her princess, a title she truly hated being called, but decided not to. Calling her by her first name was a bit to familiar, at least she worried it would be in the head guards mind.

Cedric sat beside her and happily looked at the book. "Alright. So did you ever find out what causes the fire pear to burn but not the juice?" He asked. He hadn't forgot about that question even though he asked it right before the incident. He wanted to help her learn. Not only because he found herbs interesting, but also because he found her interesting. She was different in his eyes, mostly because she didn't know who he was. He had never been treated as anything other than a prince and for the first time in his life, He had a tiny inkling about what it was like to be like everyone else. It was an experience he wouldn't trade for the world.
(i just realized, Kaz, Cedric's brother, is interested in a girl that could easily hurt him but won't. While Cedric is interested in a girl, who can't easily hurt people, but almost killed him. I find the difference in between the two princes' romantic interests funny)

(Yes! It's funny. Maybe because Alice has already killed a lot of people but Wisp has not, she's only nearly killed the one)

I just think that the fact that Wisp and Alice are polar opposites in just about every way, really highlights how different Cedric and Is a are. I did not notice it until now, but I find it to be a great literary foil.)
