Honestly I can't wait either. Because I have wanted Cedric to be able to go off the deep end for a while.)

Wisp laughed a bit and smiled lightly at him. "You should always be happy to be alive. I know I am." She said softly, stepping into the castle behind him. She glanced around and quickly turned right and began going up a spiral staircase. Cedric chuckled at her resonse. "I do agree with you. It is not that I am unhappy with life. It is just a very rare occasion for me to feel like all my responsibilities are truly worth the effort and stress." Cedric replied. He did have a lot on his plate being the first in line for the throne. He had to learn how to be a king. And then there was Kaz. Cedric always worried about his brother, but Alice made him worry even more. Something about her left him feeling uneasy. He frowned a bit thinking about her. Wisp nodded a bit, completely understanding. She looked at him with slight concern as a frown crossed his features. Was something wrong? Wisp looked at Cedric, studying him. He seemed bothered by something. Something was definitely bothering him. "Is something wrong?" Wisp asked softly.

{I think I'm going to kill Alice at some point. Maybe when we're REALLY far into the rp. What do you think? I can't tell you when, where, why, how, or who did it. But, should I?}

(OH MY GOSH! So I'm a writer and naturally a heart-wrenching terrible twist like that makes me jump for joy. But there's that tiny little roleplayer side of me that's like 'No...not poor Alice. Think of Kaz, what would that do to poor Kaz?? And Kice would be no more!' BUT I say......DO IT!!! [Also, do you like my ship name for them? It's pronounced like kiss, but it's spelled Kice. Isn't that cute!?!?! I think so! xD])

{I have everything figured out. What she'll say, how she dies, and vague image of where, now I just have to wait for timing. But I love their name! I probably won't kill her for like I said a REALLY long time from now but just a heads up I suppose. I'll get the other's opinions and see what they think XD}

Your last reply:
Kaz let his fingers slip off the keys and into his lap, turning his head to he could look at her. When she complimented him, his cheeks colored, and he was embarrassed all over again. It was rare for him to hear such genuine and unscripted praise, and that combined with the fact that it was coming from Alice made him react like a blushing maiden. He almost hated that she could have this effect on him after such a short time knowing each other. Almost. "Thanks. And yeah, I have. Not willingly at first, mind you." He smiled, meeting her gaze. He laughed at her explanation for her refusal to learn, thinking back to when he had first been instructed. "Patience is definitely a must, so I won't force it," he replied.
My last reply:
Alice started blushing when she noticed the definite change in color in Kaz's cheeks. What did she say that made him feel that way?...How can she do it again? But Alice was getting ahead of herself, they have held hands once. And it was most likely because Kaz wanted to try to reduce the shock she had when she first climbed through his window. She rolled her eyes at his response to her short attention span. "Forget it then. I lose intrest if I have to sit still for about an hour or more. Playing piano...no thanks." Alice giggled she stared down at his hands as she tucked her very thick hair behind her ear and then looked back at Kaz. The space between them seemed to get smaller and she was not sure if it was Kaz thay moved closer or her...or both. But she was not worried, if Kaz had wanted to kill her he could have done so while she was sleeping. "You have a very beautiful voice Kaz. You should sing more often." Alice complimented him, her cheeks getting slightly more pink as she spoke.

(AHHH RIP I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS RN)
Kaz's eyes widened and his hands flew to his face, hiding the redness from Alice's gaze. "You are going to be the death of me," he mumbled, shaking his head in a vain attempt to dispel his embarrassment. His heart was beating too fast from these honest compliments - they were one's he'd heard a thousand times before, and yet. And yet. Slowly, he slid his hands down to peak at her from between his fingers before dropping them completely, having somewhat-successfully quelled the blush. Noticing her hair's persistency to spring from behind her ear, he reached for her instead, brushing the thick locks back in place. "You are very kind," he said, gaze shifting from her hair to meet hers, a smile quirking his lips.

{OMG SAME, WHAT IS THIS LIFE}
Alice couldn't help but find Kaz's remark ironic. She is - or was - an assassin, she was supposed to be the death of him. Of course, she made no such comment, Alice didn't want to remind herself of the horrors she has faced. The very horrors that own her. Was there even a way to escape? Alice's eyes widened and she was instantly snapped out of her thoughts when she felt and saw Kaz's hand by her face. Her eyes darted between his eyes and his hand. She was warring within her mind to keep still, to force herself to try and adjust to this foreign touch. "That's one I don't hear very often." She smirked, trying to poke a little fun at her background. Although, never passed that point.

"I'll be sure to say it more, then," Kaz replied, drawing back and resting his hands back in his lap, careful not to overstep his bounds. His eyes lingered on her face before he stood, sliding out from behind the piano bench. "I think the sun is about to set. Want to go watch it?" he asked, tilting his head. The light in the room had faded to and orangey glow - the promise of a spectacular show. Besides the piano room, the roof of the treehouse was Kaz's favorite place to go. Watching the stars was something he did often. It was easier to pretend he was somewhere else when looking at something everyone else saw. He could picture himself outside the castle, then, if only barely.

Alice was careful to ensure she didn't look too relieved when he removed his hand. It was a very odd sensation to want something while it was gone, but only dreaded it while it was present. Not much should surprise Alice anymore though, she has seen a lot of different things, some good some bad, but that was with everything in life wasn't it? She moved from the piano bench as well when she saw Kaz move. Her hands were at her sides, but she didn't move closer to Kaz. She instead stayed on the opposite end of the bench. "I wouldn't mind. The sunset is quite nice when I get the oppritunity to watch it."

(dw me too if i disappear it's bc i fell asleep on my laptop again)
Kaz smiled softly, reaching out to retrieve his gloves from the piano's lid and sliding them back in place. "It is, isn't it? The viewpoint here isn't too bad, either." He lead the way out of the piano room, heading towards a wooden ladder that went up towards the flat section of the rooftop. Sparing a glance back to make sure Alice was behind him, Kaz climbed up the first few rungs before reaching above his head to unlatch the trap door, much like the one from the treehouse's entrance. With a firm shove, the hatch released and the door swung up and out, letting a bright stream of orange light into the room. Kaz climbed the rest of the way up and pulled himself onto the surface, moving out of the way so that Alice would have plenty of room.

This tree house couldn't be a tree house, it was simply too grand for the name it had been given. It's name doesn't do it justice. Perhaps tree mansion suited this creation better. Alice could have lived here if she wanted to. Which did spark the idea that she could maybe stay here for a little while. After that, she could leave and be out of Kaz's hair for good. She was being a burden, and Kaz didn't see that.
When Kaz had left the piano room, she followed suit, and found herself being led to a ladder. It reached up to another trapdoor, similar to the one they had come through. However this one led to the roof. She watched as Kaz went up to ladder first before she got on. It looked a bit thin in her opinion, and she wanted to make sure it could support his weight. Because if the ladder can support Kaz, it can support Alice. She was relieved to see he made it up to the roof, and went after him.
The sight of the sun sinking to the trees was certainly one to behold. The Viewpoint here was more grand than one would expect it to be, either that or the sunset happened to look even more glorious today. "It's beautiful Kaz. Although, I shouldn't expect less, everything here seems to be more extravagant and beautiful than anything I have ever seen."
{Sorry, fell asleep}

When Alice had climbed up to join him on the rooftop, Kaz let himself truly appreciate the beautiful scene before him. The sky was lit up with flames of red and orange, only a hint of blue still visible. The sun was hanging low, heavy on the horizon, minutes away from disappearing. Up as high as they were, Kaz could catch a glimpse of the world beyond the walls, the small dots of houses cluttering the land. Eyes roaming over the sky, Kaz turned to look at Alice, stopping when he focused on her. The light made her glow, her skin alight and hair shifting slightly with the breeze. Her eyes were on the sunset, but he couldn't take his off her.
"Gorgeous," he agreed, paying no attention to the view.

{IT'S FINE I'M JUST AS TIRED}
It appeared as if as the sun went down, more lights flickered on. It became apparent in the sky as more stars twinkled in the darkness. And as each household lit more candles as the Earth slowly became covered in a blanket of darkness. This was a sight Alice only had paid attention to a few times within her own lifetime. She was often too busy to stop and pay attention to what was around her. Which, she only now began to regret.
Alice turned her head to face Kaz though, when she felt his stare on her. She was normally very aware of her surroundings, and could tell when something such as what Kaz was doing was going on. It was part of her training. "Are you even paying attention?" She raised and eyebrow and felt a smirk pull at the corners of her lips.

(AYE)
Kaz colored a bit when he was caught staring, but he grinned, shameless of his actions. "I've seen this view a thousand times before, you know. It's not often I come across something prettier." He winked at her, but the smile on his face was genuine. He felt strangely comfortable with this girl he'd only met the day before, but he supposed it made sense - he'd been groomed to flow seamlessly with his company, to be a good host. Maybe that was the root of it, but he couldn't explain the rest. He didn't really see the need to try. Kaz let his weight fall on his hands, which were pressed to the roof behind him. The wood was rough under his cloth-covered fingertips, but the sensation was familiar. He felt more at home here than he ever would inside the hulking gates of the castle.

Alice's eyes grew wider and she found herself looking at nearly everything but Kaz. The color in her cheeks nearly matched that of the pink sky the sun's movement had caused. Alice could only hope the light would mask it, as she couldn't keep the blush back herself. He may have been merely flirting or being nice, but it had been a long time since anyone complimented her in such a way. Alice shook her head, "I don't think you've seen many women then." She grinned, not minding the comment that poked fun at herself. She sat straight backed and watched as Kaz leaned back to rest his weight on his hands. Alice wasn't used to sitting in a very relaxed position, she had her instructors to thank for that. They thought good posture was a sign of discipline for some reason or other.
