"What am I talking about?" Beloo responded steadily. "I'm talking about you, hon, and how lost you are," Beloo paused before adding, "If you really want to see me, I suppose we can make that happen..." she hesitated only for a second, before leaving the bushes. First she took a step, revealing one large talon, then a second, then fathers began to emerge as well. The feathers were dark and looked matted and unkempt. "Well..." beloo took one more step out, revealing her raven like features and her beak with many rows of teeth, "This is me, " she declared, giving her wings a ruffle. She awaited a response of fear, shock, or anything else of the sort.
__
Casey turned around suddenly at the new voice, and there behind her stood a beast. Many different features of many different animals...and... she? it? spoke to her? "Uhmm..." was all she could choke out before taking one small step back, slightly stumbling on a root. Casey looked the creature up and down again before asking, "What do you mean journey? I-- I just wanted to tke a walk..." she drifted off, stilll staring and now slightly shaking.
(Thats okay! Sorry I wasn't on!!)

Oh he was very lost if this was the only 'person' around. Mika couldn't help but to take a few steps back at the sight of the avian beast. His fear showed on his face and his heart pounded in his years. It was all he could do not to flee. What was this place that such a thing could exist? If he turned around and walked in a straight line the way he came, would he end up back in the park? Seemed like a long shot, but now he was definitely considering it. "What are you?"He paused, mostly to keep his voice from faltering. "Who are you?"
---
Valkoinen continued moving forward slowly, one step at a time. "Well, you'll be walking plenty, that's for certain. How long have you been out here?" She asked before guessing. "A few hours? Maybe a day, almost? You're going to want a place to hunker down for the night, pup. Far worse things than me come out during the night." She flicked her tail once, another grin crossing her face. "And you'll need something to eat soon enough."

Hey there:)
Beloo watched as the young man began to walk away in the opposite direction, clearly afraid, or confused even. With a sigh, and one large leap and glide through the air, Beloo cut him off, answering his question, "Well who am I?" she repeated the question, adding, almost thoughtfully, "I'm Beloo, I'm a large talking bird with lots of teeth," she stated the obvious, proceeding to lean down towards the boy, showing off her many blades.
"May I ask who you are?" she added, almost as an afterthought.
___
"Fa--far worst things?" Casey's voice was shaky as she took one step back, avoiding trying to look at the beast any longer, instead she decided to look at the ground, before asking, "What other things?" she paused, "Where am I? What is this place...." she started babbling out questions, and even adding gently, "I have no clue how long I've been out here..." as if answering the animals rhetorical question would be useful to either one. Her hands were shaky, but she wanted answers, so once again she looked away from the ground and placed her eyes on the creature.

(work and school will tear out my soul, i swear)
Mika hesitated at her question. Was it wise to give his name? It wasn't like there was anything she could do with it out here, but he still felt the need to be cautious answering her. "Mika..." He replied quietly. He looked around, only taking his eyes off her for a brief second to be sure there was no other beasts around.
--
"Yes, far worse beasts than I roam these woods. Why, only yesterday I saw a beast that could rot flesh with a single touch. There are many terrible creatures out here, pumpkin. After all, you're in the Unknown. Beasts like he and I are born here." By now, she'd closed the gap between herself and the Wanderer, circling her before standing with her tail curled to block any clear path for her to flee. "You know, many creatures eat Wanderers, given the chance. Personally, I find alliances a little more... rewarding."

(I think the two creatures interacting would be fine for the moment)
Sundar easily maneuvered his way down the steep mountain he called home. There weren't any paths in the mountainside so he had to rely on his climbing skills to descend to the flat plateau that stretched between the mountain base and the forest. His paws hit the warm ground when he finally made his way to the bottom and he took a moment to take a deep breath before continuing on his way towards the forest, wanting to search for any trinkets and stuff he could save for his hoard. He already had a few shiny coins in his knapsack that he had found among some rocks along with some goat jerky and a small thing of water in case he got hungry or thirsty. He made it across the plateau easily and walked along the edge of the forest, ears perked as he walked.

(Ok slow because DnD)
Julian continued walking toward where the light shone in at the edge of the forest, stepping over the gnarled roots and twisted brambles with ease. He still kept his eyes peeled for any food items he could harvest on his way home. He didn't find any before he stepped out into the tall grass of the fields. He was very certain there wasn't anything left in the fields after the migrating birds had flown through. The only thing he hadn't searched for yet was roots, which he didn't feel like digging right now. He continued walking toward the wooden hut he lived in, fairly tired from the day of foraging.

Screenname: Iceblossom Name: Hayden Prescott Physical Description: Hayden is 19 years old and about 5'3". She is slightly built, with thin limbs and no defined curves. Her hair long, brown, and nearly always thrown into a messy bun or ponytail. She prefers to keep it out of the way. Her skin is pale and she has faint freckles along her cheeks and shoulders, especially after too long in the sun. Her eyes are a muddled hazel-green. Personality Description: She's always been independent, but not out of any desire to rebel against authority. She simply decides what she wants to do and figures out a way to do it. She is endlessly stubborn as well. While she attempts to be reasonably friendly, her refusal to bend or compromise tends to get her into arguments, which her confrontational personality does nothing to help. However, she is a naturally caring person despite it all and tries to be kind to others. Status: New Gear: Hair ties

Hayden cursed quietly as she stumbled over yet another obstacle. This time it was only a small rock, but her ankle was still sore from the root she tripped over earlier. At least this rock hadn't appeared as she was running, desperate to figure out where she was and find a way back home. The earlier tumble had left her with scrapes on her knees, the palms of her hand, and her chin. Thank goodness she didn't bite her tongue. This time, she tripped only because she was too busy craning her head to watch the unfamiliar sky and the strange leaves blocking parts of it from sight.

As the sun grew low in the sky, Morte picked himself up from lying in his den and gave a small stretch before stepping slowly out of his den in the hollow of an ancient tree. He'd been here almost two years now, and he'd learned that the forest was full of beasts much larger than he was. He'd also seen a number of Magus around here, and he didn't fancy ending up on the receiving end of a fire blast or some other magic attack. Most of these creatures tended to move about during the night like he did, though he couldn't change his hunting time now. It was summer, one of the harsher seasons. He didn't have the energy to move about in the heat, nor did he want to get a sunburn, as the canopy only offered so much protection.
Once he was certain there were no hunting creatures near him he slowly moved forward, ears straining to listen for any movement. A few rustles here and there, though he wasn't certain if he should pursue or search elsewhere. He wanted to hunt, it had been a while since he'd had meat, though right now he was hungry enough to settle for any vegetation he found. He moved carefully into the undergrowth, hiding himself in the tall bushes as he walked along, searching for something to eat.
--
Aarow had stopped for the night, sitting himself down on a fallen log. He'd checked it was hollow on the inside, and he planned to spend the night inside it once he was ready to fall asleep. For now, he opened the pouch he had tied to his belt loop. Only one candy left. Saltwater taffy didn't go bad for some time, so he would save it for later. He still had a few berries left over from the bush he'd found this morning, and he hadn't felt sick from eating them yet, so he was guessing they weren't poisonous. He pulled them out one by one, watching the forest as he ate. He didn't bother to light a fire, it was too much effort, and it was already hot outside. Besides, it would draw attention.
He'd been out here for just barely a week. He was tired of sleeping on the ground, and he missed regular life. He hadn't exactly left anyone behind, so no one was looking for him in the regular world, but it would still be better to go back and at least have a proper bed to sleep on.

The sun was going down on her first day there and Hayden was struggling to swallow down the panic rising in her throat. She'd already spent a good couple of hours wandering helplessly and getting herself worked up in the heat of the day, but what on earth was she supposed to do? Sit down? The thought nearly brought a hysterical laugh out of her. There was no way she was going to be sitting prey for whatever monsters lurked in the forest, even if all she could do was walk around and hope she found... something.
That thought brought her to a halt. Why walk if she didn't even know what she was looking for? That would just waste energy. The idea of sitting still set her skin crawling as if there were eyes on her, but... no, sitting still was not a good idea. However, if she stumbled into this strange place, other people must have as well. The dark would be absolute before long, but morning would bring sight and with it a chance to find others. Finding a place to sleep would have to be the priority. With a plan in mind, she began to walk again.
(Sorry to duck out right now, but I'm heading out for a few hours! Be back later!)

(Its alrihgt, i need to do dishes anyway)
Morte picked up the scent trail of a small rodent and he began to move forward as he followed. The trail lead straight to a little burrow, and as he listened carefully, he could hear little movements inside. He looked around again to be certain there was nothing else near him before he began digging into the soft dirt with his claws, scooping pawful after pawful of soil into a heap behind him.
As he reached the bottom of the burrow, the rodent - he assumed vole or shrew- bolted up between his paws and fled into the forest. Without giving it a second thought, Morte sprinted after it. Within seconds he was on top of the prey, having pinned it under his paws and broken its neck. He bent to pick it up in his beak, but another scent caught his nose and called for his complete attention. There was a Wanderer nearby. Very, very close, and by the strange smell that followed their scent, they were very new.
--
Aarow heard movement somewhere out in the woods, and he stopped eating to listen. It had only lasted briefly, but he didn't want to be caught offguard incase something was out hunting. He picked up the shield from where he'd left it leaning against the log and held it close. His defense stance was really terrible, though to be fair, he'd never had to use it before. He'd never needed any kind of weapon or fighting skills or survival skills. This was all still strange and foreign, though he'd been slowly adjusting.

Screenname: dΞΉe β₯ Name: Trockor Physical Description: A small humanoid creature made from wood and plants, standing at about 4 feet tall. He has a muzzle like a wolf, and his eyes glow white. He has small dragon-like wings that allow him to fly for only a short period of time. He has small but sharp claws. Personality Description: Trockor is a small assistant of Majerlian, helping to lead clueless prey into his territory for him to eventually kill and devour. He's not exactly aggressive, more of just mischievous and annoying. He puts up a friendly act when around victims, and promises to lead them to somewhere with plenty of nice gear and food. He then leads them to Majerlian for the large beast to kill. Status: Malicious Gear: None Spells: Abilities:
Screenname: dΞΉe β₯ Name: Majerlian Physical Description: Majerlian looks like a massive hound made of sturdy wood and vegetation. He is as tall as 6 feet when not standing on his fours. Thick twigs stick out from his back and tail. His eyes are rather small, and glow green as does his mouth too. His paws are big and deadly with sharp claws. Personality Description: Majerlian likes to spend time alone, wandering around his small territory to keep his den safe. He does not appreciate strangers, and is aggressive to anyone who approaches him other than Trockor, who is his small assistant. He'll try to kill anyone who he sees, unless offered a gift or sacrifice that he deems worthy enough for him. He doesn't exactly go hungry, but he still needs to eat prey to keep his energy levels in check, otherwise he'd become too weak to even be able to walk, and eventually dwindle away to nothing but sticks and dust. Status: Malicious Magus Gear: None Spells: Healing touch. Abilities: Regeneration.

Deep in the woods rested a large wooden beast in a den carved in the side of a rocky cliff, his eyes open as he watched the forest around him. he breathed in and out slowly in a calm manner, as there was no reason to be alert right now. At the moment he was waiting for his small friend, Trockor, to return. Not empty-handed of course, but with some sort of prey.
He very rarely left his territory in search of food, which is way he trusted in Trockor to lead it to him, so that he could kill whatever the smaller wooden creature caught. The two of them trusted each other well, and had no intentions of abandoning each other anytime soon.
---
Trockor had been wandering the woodlands for a while in search of an unlucky victim. To him it was always fun to trick others into following him. It was funny how so many creatures and even some humans had trusted him, only to have their lives snapped away by Majerlian's deadly jaws. Of course, it wasn't the only thing he ever did. He hunted food for himself too whenever he got the chance, as he needed to keep his energy as well. He didn't need larger prey though, he lived off of small mice and rabbits, sometimes birds too.
He was brought back to reality from his thoughts when he noticed Aarow nearby, a human by the looks of it... Trockor slowed his speed to a more slow walk and cleared his throat. "Ah, hello! Are you lost?"

Aarow gave a small start at the sound of the voice. He hadn't properly met any creatures, only run or hide from the larger predators. He was a bit puzzled to see before him a creature of such small stature. He still didn't lower his guard, reminding himself that small didn't mean weak or harmless.
"Not entirely." He replied. He did make an effort to make sure he didn't sound rude or afraid. "Forgive me, but I didn't think..." He paused. Was there a name for the creatures? He didn't know. He'd also never seen one that looked as though it were more flora than fauna. "um, fellows like you were capable of speech." He finished his sentence, picking his words carefully. No need to end his first conversation in a week before it even started.

This poor fool, he seemed so innocent and naive. He had no idea what kind of trouble he was getting into. He couldn't wait to see how his life would end.
Trockor remained calm and friendly as too keep Aarow from leaving. He didn't want to loose him so easily. "Well of course I can talk. Not all of us are incapable of speech!" He pretended to look a bit hurt by his comment, and then he added, "You look tired and in need of some useful supplies... Oh, I know, I can lead you to where I found some good loot!" He smiled, his fangs showing. "I guess you're lucky I found some good stuff and then found you."
