I’m sorry to hear that): my mental health was down the toilet in college. Glad I was able to graduate early. I miss certain things about it. But I don’t miss how miserable I was ):
Aw, cool! I hope it goes well for you! How many book bindings have you done so far?
I am just getting into building models. Right now I’m in the process of buying all the stuff I need. And then I can start!

I got really hecking awesome amazing news just after that. I GOT ACCEPTED TO ONE OF MY UNIVERSITIES I APPLIED FOR! :DDDD I'm really super excited. It's was my safe one, so I knew I'd probably get in, but the relief I feel that I did!!! In my case, college is great! My home life is what's really tough. My father's taken a real nose-dive into alt-right conspiracy theories and just conspiracy theories in general (flat earth, for starters). And add to that, I came out to my family in 2020 and that's about when he started getting worse about trans and LGBTQ+ stuff in general. College is the escape. Home is the oof part. I have done 2 so far and I'm starting on two more.  Yoo nice! What models are you starting on? |

Yeeeah. I don't like it. But I only gotta make it til August.
Over Covid I saw it trending online and was like 'wait, that's still a thing? And I can LEARN it?' So I did. I recently starting binding a book I own. I bought it as a PDF (like, it's a self-published book and so forth), but I struggle reading digital books so thought I'd just bind a personal copy so I can, like, read it properly.

&& that’s awesome! That’s a really good idea! I find that I like reading hard copies, too. Digital is not the same.
So I wish I could say that it looks amazing…… but, sadly, I’ve only just finally purchased all the stuff I’ve needed to begin xD So I haven’t started. But I’m hopefully going to start tomorrow!

Great! I realized I never got to follow up! I built it, which was so much fun!! And I’ve started to paint! But right now the build was a lot more fun than the painting bc the painting is very overwhelming xD I’m hoping the painting will get easier because that’s what I was looking forward to most xD

Drifting through this semester with the very strange sense that I'm not connecting to anyone in class and continue to get along more with my professors than my peers. Can making friends outside of the internet be easier?
Admittedly I'm getting along very well (or I think so, at any rate) with a fellow weirdo in the local hang-out space of the Wellness Center, soooooooooo ... Some success!

Hello! it has been a while. Life is super busy, as always. Our car broke down recently and I was sure we would have to junk it, but things worked out and we were able to get it fixed. This all happened just as i got repromoted at work, too. But things are all good now!
My daughter, who will be three years old next month, recently finally got her autism diagnosis! She also starts preschool in August.
In other news, I am hopeful I will get a laptop this year. I do miss having a computer, but i hate being constricted to a desk to use my husbands desktop.
Anyway, good to check in! i dunno when i will check in next, but I dont think i will ever forget to check in lol even if it is an average of every six months lol
