Hi! Sorry it's been so long! My daughter turned 3 may 19th, and she starts preschool on August 26th! Got most of her school supplies, which is wild to think about.

I mentioned in my last post that I was hopeful I'd get a laptop this year...well, I finally ordered one! A pretty nice one too. 16gb memory, an rtx 4060 graphics card, and a 1TB SSD. So excited! It is supposed to arrive tomorrow. So perhaps I'll be more active!

I hope everyone is doing okay. I'm not usually online this often, but now that I've got a laptop, I check in every day.

She is doing good! She is growing up so fast. It is wild to think she will be starting school soon. As far as school shopping, it is relatively easy for her right now. I only needed to get her a backpack, a couple folders, some crayons, and a few other items. So it wasn't too bad. Thankfully, it wasn't too expensive either.

Me too! It has been good to have one again. I am trying to get more into things I used to be into before. I just got back into Felisfire, which has definitely been an adjustment. The last time I logged in was ten years ago! So my old account was removed. But, I was able to sign up again and they restored all my stuff! Except possessions, because that is apparently a huge file. But I am getting all my xenofelenoids returned to me. I am trying to relearn the game.

My husband modded my sims 4 so I have all the packs, which is something you can only do on PC. I am thinking of asking him how to remove some of them, though, because it has been kind of overwhelming to have everything available and not know what I am doing for each pack.

That’s good! It’s weird bc I use to go on my computer all the time but now I don’t as much o.o I do miss my computer, I just don’t have the time or motivation like I use to ): Hopefully at some point I’ll get back into it!

Aww, have you found kitties yet? Are you gonna adopt from a shelter?

It sounds like your landlord is pretty chill about it if they’re telling you there’s a loophole, so that’s good at least Have you tried to ask if you can keep them all? I’m glad you have homes for them, though, and that you are able to keep them!!
Marci sound so cute! My kitty, Ellie, was pure white with a tiny spot of black on her head and she had blue eyes when she was a kitten. But now that she’s older, the black spot has actually vanished and her blue eyes are gone, as well xD She’s a beautiful white kitteh<3
When we lived in an apartment, we were only allowed 2 pets (either 2 cats or 2 dogs or 1 cat and 1 dog). Butttt we had 12 Guinea pigs, 3 frogs, 2 dogs, and a cat. One of the reasons I was so scared to stay there is bc I was worried they would find out about all the animals (and I’m surprised they never did, esp bc I would juggle bringing them all outside during fire alarms and me and the animals would sit in the car, omsc). Whenever we knew someone was coming to do inspections of sorts, we would make sure we brought the animals they didn’t know we had to our parents house, which was a hassle but it worked. I’m very glad to have my own house now, though, bc the animals have a big house now and I don’t have to fear the landlord o.o

My sister and new nephew got to go home Friday! She came over Friday night and I got to see baby Finn again. It's amazing to see a newborn again. I did not appreciate the newborn stage enough when my daughter was a baby. Shes three now. I so badly want another baby. One, to give my daughter a sibling, because my sister is honestly my best friend. But also because I feel like second time around, since I wont be learning as much, I will actually be able to enjoy and appreciate the newborn stage of life. It is such a quiet time. Some might find it boring, because all baby does is sleep, eat, cry, the usual Not a lot of milestones are happening just yet. But there are so many precious moments that I feel like I missed out on with my daughter because I was too focused on learning how to care for her instead of just getting to...enjoy her. I know that sounds strange. But meeting my nephew, and my sister letting me hold him, since she knows I didn't get to really hold my daughter until she was two weeks old, maybe a week old (she spent some time in the nicu), I've just really appreciated it.

I'm not feeling as emotionally exhausted anymore. So that's good. Last night we went to Karaoke Idol to get free tickets to this festival that is happening in a couple weeks. We did the same thing last year, and it was an absolute blast. You get a free ticket just for participating, but then the winner gets four tickets to the festival. I was just participating for the free ticket, but my husband...well, he is a very competitive person. It is just in his nature. So of course, he is one of the two winners. I couldn't be more proud of him! On top of that, he now gets to compete against seven other contestants on the main stage at the festival for a chance to win $500. He didn't win that last year (even though I feel like he should have). I don't think he will win this year. He was the second winner at Karaoke Idol last night. The first place winner....shes got quite the voice. She definitely earned it. No hard feelings here, not even from my husband.

Anyway, last night we were out until 1am. Which I knew was going to be a bad idea. I took a two hour nap after work to kind of make up for the sleep I would be losing last night. To give an idea, my first alarm for work today went off at 3am. I didnt fall asleep until 130am. I figured Id be fine, considering the amount of sleep I got Wednesday. But I somehow managed to sleep through my alarm....for TWO HOURS. I was about 30mins late to work. I was supposed to clock in at 445am, but I didn't even wake up until 5am. Got to work at 510am. Needless to say, I dont want to make that mistake again. But I dont regret it. Last night was an absolute blast. I was surprised I slept through my alarm though. I never do that. I may dismiss my alarm in my sleep (I use a smart speaker for my alarms), but I've never just completely slept through, let alone for TWO FREAKING HOURS. Like...what? So I took a decent nap when I got home today. I have the next two days off work, so I'm gonna catch up on some sleep for sure.

I have been so AFK from the WFF section! I miss my friends here. Any of the OG's still around??
