( His anger is cute omg Yes this is a good way to bring up Grace and the fact they are possibly on a suicide mission because of her. )
Grace quickly adjusted to the rock of the ship before darting over to the window and momentarily peaking outside. She didn't see anything dangerous outside what could it possibly be? Stepping away from the window while biting her lip thoughtfully, maybe she should see if James knew? He was captain after all. Walking over to the door quietly, then she realized that she heard what sounded like yelling. Being unable to hear what was being said she silently opened the door just a hair and holding onto the knob so it wouldn't fly open from the force of the ship. Was that James yelling? Yes it sure was, decided to just quietly eavesdrop; if it could be considered eavesdropping as he was yelling.

(xD I feel bad for Berlin because he is so confused xD)
James grunted as he hit the wooden rail. He steadied himself and pushed himself to his feet, helping Berlin up as well. James's glare hadn't wavered. "Turn this ship back around right now Berlin!" He roared over the wind. Berlin stuttered a moment. "Captain?" "Now I said! Now!" James shouted, but quickly realized Berlin had no idea why the English Channel was important. James, quickly loosing his temper, glowered at the sailor and snapped out his explanation. "This ship needs to reach the English Channel before the sun rises tomorrow! And that time only! I have a passenger aboard who needs to go to the English Channel and I have a plan! But the bloody plan can't work if we get there late! Now turn her around!" James shouted. Berlin's confusion melted into a frown. "We are sailing into British hands on the orders of some Llady you picked up in the village?!" He shouted over the wind.

( I feel bad for the entire crew they probably think he's gone mad. I'm trying to figure out what to do with Grace at the moment as I'm running out of random stuff for her to do. )
Grace could barely hear what was being said with the noise of the wind, straining her hearing to make out what was being said without coming out of the room. Opening the door just a little more to see if it would help, which it actually did. Some other voice had to have just mentioned her, and they had been talking about the English Channel. That was pretty much what she could hear, and truthfully she was curious to hear what they were really saying but she wan't to keen to the idea of showing herself.

(Probably xD I'll have James go back into the room to solve your problems xD)
James growled under his breath. "She is not just ANY lady, Berlin. Mind your tongue! You have no idea who you are talking about!" James snapped. Berlin's face took a look a playfully teasing sneer. "What is she your wife now?" He barked over the crashing of the waves. James was in no mood for sarcasm. "Berlin!" He roared, taking a short step forward. The man's look of tease easily disappeared and he took a step back. "Turn this ship about and angle her the EXACT way she was before I fell alseep! I want everything the way it was before I come back or you'll have hell to pay! Now move!" James shouted and watched as the man nodded swiftly and scurried away. James felt like shouting in anger. They were going to get behind schedule. He stalked toward the door and grabbed the handle, shoving it open, unaware that Grace was on the other side.

( Bless Berlin cx )
Grace huffed when she still couldn't hardly hear a thing, that wind was deafening which was incredibly annoying. Scowling at the door in disgust, maybe she should just poke her head outside? No that didn't sound wise. Unfortunately not hearing the approaching foot steps until it was to late. Getting the door slammed right into her. Yelping painfully when she ended up pinned between the wall and the door, muttering a few beautiful curses before forcefully pushing the door away from her.

(His name was actually supposed to be Merlin xD But my finger slipped so I hit the 'B' instead. I think Berlin with stick with him now though xD)
James jumped when he heard a yelp. He moved to shut the door to block out the sound of the wind, but the door swung at him on its own. Barely dancing out of the way, he let the dor close and then looked at Grace. "Grace! Your up" He said with obviously surprise. He quickly recovered as he realized he must've hit her with the door. However he had to keep his grin from showing at her beautiful language. "Sorry about that, I didn't know you were there" He said, moving to help her.

( Berlin works cx )
Grace couldn't help but scowl at James when he realized she was there and that he hit her with the door. This morning really wasn't helping her still bruised body, at this rate she would probably get killed by some kind of wooden board before noon. "Yes I'm awake, getting attacked by a door was most helpful." She retorted bluntly, folding her arms protectively while darkly muttering a curse in Irish.

(xD Yea, I like it)
James nodded, he wasn't exactly in the mood to try and argue that it was an accident. "Again, my apologies" He said distractedly as he moved toward the table. He huffed witha growing frown and starting picking up the shrewn maps and set the lantern upright as well. "They'll be serving breakfast here soon if your hungry" James said to her over his shoulder.

Grace rolled her eyes and silently watched James walk away over to the table, taking a step away from the wall to watch him. A curious question on her mind, but with the yelling she felt the need to be cautious. "Might I ask what happened?" She asked carefully, eyeing the maps on the floor. Still being able to hear the now faint howl of wind from outside.

James took a long breath at her question. "Oh nothing. Just an arrogant fool of a crew that thinks they can take things into their own hands and change course without cosulting their captain!" His oice had slowly risen as he continued talking until he was almost yelling. James slammed the maps onto the table, bending and creasing most of them. Squeezing his eyes shut and trying to shove off the frustration and sat down with a huff. "They changed the course" He began again, his voice now calm, but a held a glowering undertone. "They turned the ship around because we were going toward the English Channel. We hit rough waters. Rough waters which I happened to have charted! Had they asked me this would've been avoided entirely. And we could've gotten behind schedule. If they don't get this blasted thing turned around soon, we'll already be off schedule! A schedule that I took so much time planning, has almost been ruined because of their ignorance" James began to rant, almost as thought h was talking to himself. But he quickly gathered himself again and looked up at Grace. "And then they questioned my orders because they said they were coming from 'some strange village women'. They're probably still out there grumbling about it. I hardly have time to deal with it at the moment. Of all the times to bring up trouble, they had to choose right now?"

Grace silently listened figuring that if she interrupted James and his rant that she'd probably get her head chewed off. Really thinking about it she could understand why the crew reacted like that, they were going right into the English Channel after all; the place that crawled with British soldiers who were hungry for pirate blood. Letting him finish before talking. "So there is a problem with me?" She asked thoughtfully with narrowed eyes. For all they knew she could be some random wench he had found who was going to lead them to their deaths.

James scoffed, "The thing is, they don't know who you are" He said sourly, looking through his maps as he continued to talk. "I've got no problem with you. But all they see is a sudden lady that I took along with me. That stays in my courters and now I'm suddenly going places that she wants me to go. One of them even suggested you were my wife!" He said in exasperation. "But I wouldn't want to tell them about you being the Red Reaper in all because they get caught up in a lot of gossip. Next stop in a village and someone can get them drunk and they'll spill everything. Then everyone will know the Red Reaper's real identity." He growled, moving the map aside to look at water charts.

Grace raised an eyebrow at James, that was an interesting suggestion but crews did have a tendency to come up with things like that. But it did concern her. "And what would you do about that? Because I really don't wish to end up accidentally getting into a fight." She said quietly, when suspicion spread it was easy for it to become dangerous. And as the object of the suspicions it seemed believable that if something went wrong having to defend herself seemed likely.

James sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Well obviously I'm going to talk to them. I'll explain the whole thing and the reasons." He looked up at Grace. "But if you'd like to keep your identity a secret them I need you to help me with another story. Some other valid explanation for going to the English Channel, stopping in Jersey and then continuing on whenever your tip off tells us to go" He said with obvious exasperation. "I don't want to lie to them or leave them in the dark. But I won't tell them your secret either"

Grace sighed at the question her gaze dropping to the ground, her identity was something that she wanted kept a secret as long as possible. It was amazing that her identity had been kept for so long with the kind of life she led, but there had to be at least some way to try and keep it at least a little longer. "Perhaps tell them that I'm a traveler who lost my ship or something? Like a partial truth." She suggested, pausing and shaking her head. "But if they persist for your sake you may tell them." She added softly with a huff. It was not right to get his crew unwillingly involved in her whole mess.

James nodded, it sounded good enough. His crew definitly wasn't stupid. They didn't ask many questions, but they always asked the hard ones. The ones that got the most answers. He frowned, "They would see it as odd that I am helping just any stranger......" He trailed off with a growning frown. However a smile soon lit his face. "Although they are pirates, my crew believe in paying someone back to stay out of debt. I could say that when I was captured by bounty hunters. You saved my life. That would explain your very painful injuries and me with hardly anything but a scratch." James slowly stood with a growing smile. "Then I can simply say I'm replaying my debt to you. They still might not like the idea of going to the English Channel for a woman, but they'll accept the story and know it has to be done. They won't make to much noise about it that way."

Grace silently listened to his idea, that actually sounded like a good idea even though it was a lie with swapped roles. "Well if that seems to work go ahead, just make sure you have answers to basically any question they might have." She advised, as an experienced liar she knew all about making a story convincing and it took a lot of work. But his idea did raise a question her mind, technically she owed James not the other way around. Even if he seemed nice she didn't want to be in debt to him. That was something she'd need to try and sort out soon.

James sighed and nodded, "Right then, it should work well enough" He moved toward the door and then looked back at Grace. "They've probably got breakfast started and half gone by now. If you'd like to come it with us you can, if not, I'll have Stroman make you something to eat up here." He said lightly, putting a hand on the wall to steady himself. It seemed they'd turned the boat by now and the wind and waves had slowly died down. But of course there was still the customary rock every so often.

Grace shrugged thoughtfully taking a step forward and leaning against the door frame, "Would it be wise for me to come along?" She asked cautiously, she didn't mind coming along but if she had created some unrest within the crew it might be better for her to stay there rather then getting involved.

James looked at her thoughtfully and then shurgged. "Well staying here they migth think you want to hide from them. But if you come they might throw some suspiscions questions your way" James answered honestly and then continued. "Really there will most likely be problems whether you come or stay. So it's really up to you" He said lightly with a small shrug.
(XD It's okay)

Grace nodded thoughtfully to herself at his response, to go or not to go? "Well I think I'll come, is it alright if I follow you around?" She asked, feeling more comfortable around James's crew with him nearby. It was rather hard for her to want to go out as she wasn't exactly in her element anymore with a bunch of strangers who had suspicions about her. Quickly darting back into the room and grabbing her belt/knife sheath and putting it on before coming back, being armed had to be safer.`

James shrugged with a smug smile. "I don't mind, as long as you don't wander somewhere without tlling me" He teased lightly, "I'll end up think you've grown tired of me and jumped overboard." He said lightly as he turned toward the doo. He grabbed the handle and waited patiently for Grace to come back. He noticed the belt she wore, but didn't blame her. She didn't really know his crew, he would arm himself is he were in her position. "Right then, lets go before they eat all the good stuff." James said lightly and swung the door open, this time being careful not to hit Grace again.

"That really isn't a terrible idea, do you think I could swim all the way to land if I tried?" Grace asked jokingly as she walked over, truthfully she probably wouldn't go anywhere but just in case she'd have to remember to inform James. That was if her mind wasn't on some other subject. Cautiously she stayed back while he opened the door, both because getting hit didn't fancy her and who knew what the crew was doing.
( I love how they get along so well when joking and doing their best not to start a fight with the other cx )

James laughed, "Only if your half fish" He said with a chuckle and stepped outside. He waited for Grace to follow and then closed the door behind them. Moving toward the stairs, he took them two at a time, eager to eat. He could almost taste the food already. He glanced back at Grace, "The tall, bald man is Berlin. He's my closest crew member and also the one who was questioning this morning. I don't think he means ill-will. But if we can convince him of our stories, the others will follow soon enough" He said seriously.

A smile flickered across Grace's face at his response, sadly she wasn't half fish so this would have to do. Slipping outside right behind James and quickly following him down the stairs but only taking them one at a time. Raising her eyebrow when he told her about this 'Berlin' fellow, hopefully their story would work; because if not she wasn't entirely interested in seeing if she really could swim to land. "And if not?" She asked quietly.
( I wonder what kind of situation we could throw out there that would show their true colors a little more, the more pirate side even though we kind of already did that with the bounty hunters. I like to mix stuff up a bit when possible c: )

James frowned a bit but turned to look at her. "There is no 'if not'. They'll believe it." He said firmly. He was also trying to reassure himself. He'd always trust his crew not to do anything rash. And they never had, but he'd also never taken a woman onboard and listened to her instructions on where to sail. James turned back to the stairs and jumped over the last few. Landing on the deck, he moved toward the door, the smell of freshly baked bread and meat crashing into his senses.
(Hmm, perhaps, after we get through the crew drama. They could spot a British ship carrying gold for some reason that we can make up. And to get his crew in a better mood and let them know he is still the same old pirate captain, James decides to raid the ship when they have the opportunity?)

Grace nodded with a slight frown, "If you say so." She said with a shrug, it wasn't worth it to keep talking about especially out in the open where if they kept it up someone could hear them. So long as he was sure that they'd believe the story that was all she really needed, and there was no way they could try and say it wasn't true without evidence.
( That would be interesting... What would we do with Grace during this raid? cx )

James nodded and pulled open the door. Immediately, he was hit with the smell of food and the bustle of conversation. He would've tried to ease drop, but all the conversation was much to loud to make out any certain topic. James glanced at Grace over his shoulder and gave her a small grin and then headed down the stairs. The conversation slowly dimmed as James reached the bottom of the stairs. He felt stares of confusion on him and he moved to the counter. "Give me a plate and a drink" He muttered to Stroman. The chief nodded, but even he seemed strangely quiet. James turned to the crew who was still silent. "I'll get my breakfast and my drink down. Then I'll give an explanation" He said loudly and in a flat tone. The crew slowly murmured and nodded, slowly the conversation began up again.
(OH! What if Rowan and Brom are on the ship? And when James and his crew all get off to raid the British ship, James asks Grace to stay behind to keep herself hidden. And Brom and Rowan get off the British ship and come after Grace??)

Grace took a deep breath before continuing to follow James after he opened the door and headed down the stairs. Whatever the food was it smelt good but any trace of an appetite fled her when she reached the bottom of the stairs. The stares that she could feel seemed suffocating in a way, the attention oddly made her feel uneasy. Normally she didn't care but the situation wasn't helping in the slightest. Forcing herself to keep a level head she glanced around at the crew quietly, doing her best to keep a calm expression whilst trying to figure out what to do with herself.
( Bram? And yes that would be awesome, we should very much do that. )
