A shiver ran done her spine, her eyes fluttering close for a moment. Anya didn't share that opinion, but she also was used to looking at herself. To her, she was just bland, but arguing with Seth would get her nowhere. At least on this matter. "Then I guess it'll be okay," she murmured back.

"Yeah, well, you're also a well known, well established, and well respecting pirate captain. I don't think anyone is really going to try and tell you what you should or shouldn't do," Parker said, trying to lighten the mood and hide the fact that he wasn't as lucky to let those words as his lover was.

As promised, Anya went to join Aidan in the kitchen. By the time she did, Aidan was pretty much half-way done with his meal, but he still kept her company as she ate. Mainly she guessed he stayed just because Seth was busy, otherwise she could assume the two would have been continuing catching up on the time they didn't get to hang out today. Not that she thought that was a bad thing. She wanted to do that too.
It didn't take long to finish the meal. Since she and Aidan had eaten a late lunch, she wasn't as hungry as she would have been. So she had gotten herself a smaller portion. She cleared away the dishes that were empty and took them to the sink. She would start work on washing them while Seth ate. Which should be soon, she would imagine. Normally his showers didn't last this long. He was in and out, faster than all of them some days. Was he waiting to see if she would actually try and walk in on him?
The thought threatened to color her face. Whether he was or not, his food was getting cold. She didn't like to rush him, but if something wasn't okay, then she needed to go check on him. Even if she was putting herself at risk for a lot of teasing. So, telling Aidan that she was going to find out what's taking Seth so long, she headed back to their bedroom. There was no sounds coming from inside, but that didn't mean anything. It's been a while, though. Surely Seth wouldn't just be lying in wait. So she reached for the door handle and opened the door. Only at the last second did she add a small knock just to let him know she was coming. "Seth? Are you -"
She had barely even stepped into the room when she spotted him. She was going to kill him. Out of all the things he could have done, this wasn't the state of dress she thought he would try and make things even with! Anya's eyes briefly glanced down, taking in what was either accidentally or purposefully put on display before her eyes darted back to his face. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't actually mean to do this!" she said quickly.

Oh, Rita. Parker had forgotten about her, though he guessed he shouldn't have. Sol had mentioned that she was his best friend, but she was still a new person he had learned about that her name hadn't popped up in his mind. He tilted his head to one side in acknolwedgement. The sting of having her kiss his boyfriend was still there, but he didn't dislike her. "Then what can I do to sweeten the deal and get you to dance with me more than them?" he asked.

Seth had to bite down on his lip to keep from laughing again. When he was sure he could speak steadily, he said, "Sorry. I stayed in the shower a little longer to enjoy the hot water. Must have lost track of time."
☆~☆~☆ Sol's eyes narrowed a touch as his lips twitched with a suppressed smile. "Well, with a request like that, how can I possibly refuse?" He stepped away from the wall and toward Parker, and pointed to the floor. "Stay," he ordered without looking at the dogs, both of which lay down where they were and made themselves comfortable. Then Sol took Parker’s hand and squeezed. "Lead the way... dear," he said, making a bit of a face as he tried the endearing and found he didn't much like it.
