(Perfect! 😈 and if Rita knows who Parker is, via from Angel because I doubt he would come out and tell her himself, that could be part of the reason she tries teasing him with the kiss as a joke, not knowing he'd take it the wrong way.)

Yes, but since they had officially became couple, Anya felt that she was always tagging after Seth. The only time they weren't together was when they had chores. Now, she just wanted to be with him all the time, and she knew that wasn't really good. "I was thinking of going to see Cressieda and Cami this morning," she said, smiling slightly. "I didn't get a whole lot of chances to talk with them last night since I was exhausted. I just didn't want to go heading off and you not know where to find me."

Parker knew before Decon had even asked the port master that Sol wasn't here. Apollo hadn't given any signs of recognition or tried sprinting off ahead. So when the man confirmed his guess, he wasn't too surprised. "Is there any way you might get word to me if they do arrive?" He asked. "If not, that's fine. I'm sure I'll be able to tell, but knowing the moment they get here would be nice."

Anya smiled softly as he went to give love to the puppy. She was glad he caved in and got him. Seth seemed to be a little happier with Hero around. "Fine, but if he has an accident on the bed, you're cleaning it up," she said, though she hardly meant it. Taking her clothes for the day, she headed off towards the bathroom.

The dock master considered the young man before him. "I suppose I could try. But it really depends on when they get here. As I said, there's no telling with that one. He could arrive any minute, or it could be weeks more. Where are you staying?"
☆~☆~☆ Seth would have done that anyway, so he just chuckled quietly and watched her go. He gave Hero one more pat, then quickly got dressed. He sat on the bed to put his boots on, and when he stood, he scooped Hero up and carried him. The pup may not have gone to the bathroom yet, but Seth knew he would the minute his paws touched the ground.
He knocked on Aidan's bedroom door before opening it and stepping in. The boy was still asleep, so Seth placed Hero on the bed and said, "Go wake him up "
Hero was only too happy to oblige. He scampered across the bed and started licking Aidan's whole face with all the enthusiasm of a puppy. Aidan did nothing at first, but that didn't last long. He tried to wiggle away, eyes still closed, but Hero merely crawled after him, tail thumping. Aidan rolled away and opened his eyes. Seeing the puppy, he smiled and gently pushed him away. "Hero, go away. I'm sleeping."
Hero barked, and to Seth, silently laughing at the foot of the bed, it sounded very much like a "Nope!" Then he went back to licking Aidan's face until, finally, Aidan pushed him away again with a laugh. "Okay, okay! I'm up!" To prove it, he sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Hero licked his elbow, then pranced back to Seth, looking quite pleased with himself.
Seth chuckled and picked him up, giving him the pets and affection he deserved. That's when Aidan finally noticed him. "Seth! It's morning already?"
"Gods, I hope so," Seth replied. "Otherwise why are we awake?"
Aidan threw a hand up. "Exactly!" He looked around, but there were no windows, and no clocks. No way to tell the time.
Seth chuckled and started for the door. "Come on, squirt. Get dressed. The dogs need to go out."
He didn't look back, but he heard Aidan's dramatic sigh before the boy climbed out of bed to do as he'd been told.

That was a good question. "I, um, haven't gotten that far yet," Parker replied with a sheepish laugh. "Let me take care of that, and I'll ome find you again. If they haven't made it to port by then. Thank you for the help."

Anya took this time to do a full refreshing. Starting with a much deserved shower. She washed the brim of the past few days away before focusing on the other necessities. By the time she was finished, she was feeling better about the day. Dressed in clean clothes, hair braided back, the woman left the rooms they had been given.
Cresseida had tried to tell them where they were staying last night, but she had been half asleep. So Anya stopped to ask for directions. It took a bit, but eventually she found her destination.
(I don't know how the rooms are set up, like if they have doors/curtains leading into them or not, so I'm just going to leave it here. XD)

The dock master nodded, and watched without a word as the young man and his... stoic companion left. That was when he noticed the dog — the very familiar dog — and realized the young man may be more important than he'd originally thought.
Once they were a ways away, Devon looked at Parker out of the corner of his eye. "Do you know where you're going?"
☆~☆~☆ ( Yes, they have doors. Rider magic can be very capable. xD And I would imagine that the Veras would be in rooms nearby, maybe in the adjacent hallway. 🤔 Morgan and Kyra too. I feel like those five would all be closer together since they arrived together. )
Cresseida was up and about when Anya arrived, and she greeted the young woman warmly. "Are you hungry?" she asked. "I was just about to head to the mess hall for breakfast."
Seth, meanwhile, had no problem navigating the route they had taken the night before. He walked the stone halls as if he belonged there, despite the many glares he received that said otherwise. He ignored most of them, but a few of the fiercer ones he met with a cold stare of his own.
He kept Aidan close to his side, and Star was practically glued to the other side of the boy. Seth even heard the occasional soft growl from her whenever the people's stares lingered too long on Aidan. Seth carried Hero. The pup was looking around at everything and everyone, bouncing back and forth between eager to say hello and explore, and being absolutely terrified of the most random things.
Eventually they made it back to the dragon cave, though by that point they had a tail. Two fully armed and armored Riders were following them. They probably thought the distance was far enough to avoid detection; Seth saw no reason — yet — to inform them that they were wrong.
Stel greeted them as soon as they reached they cave. She was as sleepless and strung tight as Seth was, only she made no effort to hide it. She growled, hissed, and bared her teeth at any dragon who stared too long or came to close. Luckily, while the dragons too clearly carried an air of mistrust and hatred for them, they were typically more practical than their Riders and had no desire to pick a fight with the grumpy silver female — not even those who were twice her size.
Of course, that had a lot to do with last night. Stel had quickly lost patience with all the hostility directed her way, so she had sought out the most dominant dragon in the place and put her in her place. Now no one wanted to mess with the she-devil.
( I'll pause here in case you want to throw Corrik in with them. 😊 )

"Of course. The guys took me to a bar near here they frequent a lot, so I'll stop by there and see if they know of a good place to stay. Even you should like the place," Parker said with a grin in his direction.
Remembering the way from the last time they were here, Parker soon led them to the doors of the Ocean Dancer. He stepped inside and studied the bar in Hope's to find a familiar face.

(Well, the information was not given, so I did what I could. 😝)
"Yes, ma'am, I was just going to get some for Seth and Aidan," Anya said. "And I was hoping to talk to you as well."
Corrik wasn't a fan of all the negative emotions around the cave. It wasn't directed as much towards him as it was towards Stel, but it still had him on high alert. He stayed low though, not bothering to jump into the fights Stel started. She could handle herself. However, since he didn't want to witness fights all night long he had positioned himself to try and block the others from Stel, if only to keep her from attacking.
I almost think the stables at the House are better than here, Corrik said to Seth as soon as the man entered the room.

"I don't drink." Devon took a seat beside him and leaned back, crossing his arms.
☆~☆~☆ "Is something wrong?" Cresseida sat on the couch and patted the soot beside her in invitation.
Aidan smiled at the dragon and reached out to pet his nose.
Seth cast a look around the vast cavern. It didn't seem crammed now, but that was likely because many of the dragons were outside, flying, hunting, or resting high in the mountains. It hadn’t looked crammed the night before, either, but again, the dragons had all been minding their own business and sleeping mostly. Seth knew that once they all got up and started moving around the space would suddenly seem much smaller.
"Maybe we can go flying later," he responded, though he highly doubted anyone would let him leave this cave in one piece, no matter what Sebastian said.

"They'll still try. They're persistent," Parker said. "But the food us great here. If nothing else, you need to have a meal before you head out."
~•~•~
"No, not really," Anya said, taking the seat offered to her. "I'm just worried. Seth thinks everyone here will be against him for what he's done. I can understand that, but I want to tey and help him. I want to do something that will make his life little easier while we're here. I just don't know how. You know how he is. He tries to do it all himself."
Corrik gave that rumbled purr he used with Anya as he was petted. Highly unlikely, but the optimism is appreciated, he said.

Devon sighed. He really wasn't interested, but he muttered, "Fine," and turned to look at the menu posted behind the bar.
( We can skip/skim whenever. 😉 )
☆~☆~☆ Cresseida sighed, but she also smiled a little. "Yes, I do know that. He's always been that way. So fiercely protective of everyone but himself." She reached for Anya's hand and gave it a squeeze. "I think the best you can do for him is just be there and remind him that he is not the person they think he is. I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but trust me, hon. For him, it will be everything."
Seth couldn't argue with him. He saw Star sniffing around and whistled. "Not there, girl. Someone might try to eat you. Come on this way." Star followed obediently as he crossed the cavern to the exit. As he'd hoped, though it hadn’t been visible the night before, there was a large ledge outside the cave, and an almost indescernable path led down one side to a barely there field of grass. He pointed it out to Star. "There you go."
Star studied the path a moment, then began picking her way down it. Seth put Hero down. The pup took all of a dozen steps after his mother before stopping to pee. Then he started after her again, yipping in complaint about behind left behind. Seth and Aidan followed them more slowly, while Stel perched herself at the edge like a big silver gargoyle to keep watch.

(We can skim. When were you thinking of having the Comet come into port?)
~*~*~
Anya sighed, nowing that the woman was right. She wasn't powerful, intimidating, or influential in any way to try and get the other Rider's or people in the camp to change their minds. So all she could do is stick with her support. But still, "I wish there was something more I could do."
Corrik, despite complaining about the cramped space, didn't follow them out of the cave all the way. He figured that if both new dragons were to leave, it might stir up issues. So he just placed himself behind Stel to make sure that if someone did try and follow, he would be able to intercept them.

( I can work on their arrival post if you want to breeze over Parker getting a room at the Ocean Dancer? )
☆~☆~☆ "I know, hon. Just pay attention, and if doing something feels right or needed, do it. I doubt you'll make it worse."
Seth and Aidan stayed down in the tiny field ling enough for both dogs to do their business, and then Aidan threw a twig around for them a bit while Seth wandered toward the edge. The wind tugged at his hair and shirt as he peered down. The ground was a long, long way away. He wasn't even sure if what he saw was the ground, or another jutting ledge.
"Hey!"
Seth turned. The two tails he had detected inside had ventured out. One was watching Corrik and Stel warily, one hand on the hilt of his sword — as if that toothpick would do anything against two dragons — while the other stood at the top of the path, glaring down at Seth. "You've been out and about long enough! Back to your room, now!"
Seth smirked. "Why don't you come down here and say that again," he called back. "I dare you."
Seth saw his jaw clench, but as expected, he didn't make a move to come down. Seth glanced at Aidan. The boy had stopped playing, and was watching Seth and his wanna be prison guard with trepidation. "It's all right, Aidan," Seth said softly. "Just ignore him."

(Sure!)
For the next few hours, they sat there in the bar. Angel eventually found her way to their table, and Parker warmly greeted the woman. While the last time he saw her ended up in him being completely drunk, he still remembered the lovely personally and fun conversation they had shared before he reached that level on intoxication.
Of course, he told her about all that had transpired the last time he was here, all the way his reason for being there today. The young man asked if she knew of any inns he could stay in, to which he got an invitation to just stay there at the Ocean Dancer. After being assured, jokingly, he wouldn't be "put to work" if he did, Parker accepted. To which Angel then fetched both him and Devon food and drinks of their choices.
(I'll stop there because I don't know what Devon's going to do, and I don't want to just assume he sticks with Parker the whole time.)
~*~*~
"I feel like that's all I've been doing lately," Anya murmured with a sigh. But now wasn't the time to dwell on that. She gave a small smiled. "Should we get going? I don't want to keep you if you're hungry."
Corrik gave a low growl to the two men who were watching. While he doubted they would do harm to them, he still wasn't going to let anything happen that would make Anya upset. Seth and Aidan getting into a fight would do just that.

Devon stayed only long enough to eat and, as he'd said, he refused to drink anything other than water. After he'd eaten, and confirmed that Parker was staying in one of the rooms here, he left, with hardly more than a muttered, "Later," as he went.
The Comet sailed into Teirm's port just as the setting sun was bathing the waters of the harbor red. The dock workers rushed to help the crew bring the ship in. Once she was securely moored and the gangplank was lowered, the usual work began.
Sol was helping his crew, coiling a length a rope, when the dock master arrived at the top of the gangplank. "Permission to come aboard, Captain?"
Sol paused what he was doing and glanced up at him. It wasn't very often the dock master came to him. Usually the older man just waited until Sol went to him to check in. "Granted."
The dock master stepped aboard. "Captain Sol, I've come to inform you —"
Artemis suddenly gave a bark and jumped to her feet, all her attention on the dock master. The man stumbled back, wide eyed. "Whoa, there!"
Sol just looked at his dog with surprise. He had never seen her act out like that. She hadn't given a warning bark, or issued a challenge. If anything, her bark sounded... excited.
"Um... perhaps I should come back another time," the dock master said nervously, eyeing Artemis.
Sol didn't try arguing with him. The man had always been nervous around Artemis — though he never seemed to mind Apollo — and Sol wasn't in the mood to comfort his irrational fears. He was still watching Artemis, who in turn was watching the dock master leave with focused intensity. Once he was gone, she sank back to her belly with a low whine/groan of frustration. That was definitely unusual.
"What was that all about?" Mason asked, coming over.
"No idea." Sol went back to coiling rope, so he missed the concerned look he received from his sharpshooter.
Nothing else exciting happened as Sol and the crew finished their task. In twos and threes, the crew bagan disembarking, heading to the Ocean Dancer and other favorite taverns for food and drink. Sol watched them go before turning to head for his quarters.
"Sol."
Beckham's voice stopped him. He turned, one brow raised in question.
"Come to the Dancer with us," Beckham said. "Before you get cabin fever."
Sol tilted his head. "Us?" As he asked it, he spotted Scarlet and James waiting by the gangplank. He shook his head. "I'm not in the mood for company."
"Not even Rita?"
That had him hesitating. It had been a while since he'd seen Rita, and if there was anyone he might talk to...
He sighed. "You're a horrible quartermaster," he said, changing direction to join them.
Beckham's lips twitched. "Worst one you'll ever have."
☆~☆~☆ "Then consider it a practice in patience," Cresseida said practically. She gave Anya's hand one last squeeze, then let go and stood. "Yes, let's. I'm sure Morgan and Kyra are already there, and Cami," she raised her voice as she said her daughter's name, then returnedto a regular register, "will be getting up and joining us shortly."
Seth made sure they lingered in the field long enough that his wanna be guards knew they were leaving becausethey chose to, and not because they were told to. Then he ignored them completely as they climbed up the path and re-entered the cavern. He let Hero walk this time, and the pup ran around sniffing everything, though he gave all the strange dragons a wide berth.
