Seth considered her for a moment, then nodded. "In that case, the other thing I wanted to give you might come in handy." He let her go to pick up the sack again. He rummaged through it, then pulled out... a bundle of flowers. Curiously, they were perfectly preserved and as fresh and lively as if they'd been just picked. "Hmm. That's not what I was looking for," he said casually. He handed them to Anya, hiding his smile, and tried again. This time, he pulled put a large bag of marshmallows. "Nope. That's not it either," he said, again with a casual air and a hint of amusement. He gave them to Anya as well.

Parker spent that morning sleeping in. The repairs for the ship had been taken care of yesterday. Or at least all the stuff he could help with. So he decided to be lazy and catch up on some sleep. It had been a while since he had a chance to do so. Although, he would admit it felt strange not getting up to train with Sol. Oh well, there was always tomorrow.
Currently he was where Sol pretty much left him, under the blankets with one foot poking out, laying on his stomach. By this point in the morning, he was awake but trying hard to ignore that fact. The need for breakfast was making that a little hard. Part of him was hoping if he stayed in here long enough, Sol would come looking for him, but the odds of that were slim. Once he got to work, it was hard to get him to focus on anything else.

"I don't want you to," Anya confirmed as she walked inside. "I want you to tell me when things aren't okay."

In her limited experience, yes, telling her would have been the smarter option. But Seth knew that, all too soon, there would come a day when his pain would only slow him down when he couldn't afford it to, and telling her about it would only worry her. But he'd promised to try, so he would. He just hoped she was ready fir him to forget, because hiding and ignoring his pain was almost second nature to him at this point.
He helped her with the vase — those things liked to be stored in high places — then followed her upstairs. Aidan was in bed, concentrating hard as he drew on some sheet paper Seth had given him. He glanced up when they entered, and grinned. "Seth! Anya! Are you feeling better? Ooh, are those marshmallows?" He had tried them fir the first time at the campfire last night, and Seth was pretty sure he was half in love with them now. Which was why he had an extra bag stashed in a pocket.
