(No, I think two days would be fine. Sol will see how he's been throwing himself into his work, doing everything's that he's told, so it'd be a good amount of times for him to start showing that he's being forgiven.)
~•~•~
"I didn't ask off. I was given the day off, which was something you weren't," Warren replied. "Besides, even if Anya did invite you, the fact that I didn't should have been clue enough that you weren't welcomed. Or are you too self centered to have noticed?"
(If Seth can find a way to put in some snide remark about sharing a bed with Anya, Warren will kill him.😏😈)

( Okay, cool. 😁 Adding two days to their timeline (we should totally write this down, if you haven't already. Also, we should try to recall how far behind Morgan's plot is.) )
The next two days passed quickly. The crew taught the newcomers the lay of the ship, and while their help wasn't always needed (nice, favorable weather meant not as many changes or adjustments needed to be made), they always threw themselves into whatever task they were given. Namely, Parker.
His efforts didn't go unnoticed. By the end of the first day, some of the crew would speak civilly with him, though a good few more still ignored him unless giving him an order. No one was outright mean to him. They just pretended he didn't exist.
Little had changed by dinner of the second day, except the nickname the crew had taken to calling Parker: lubber, after he proved one too many times he wasn't built for a ship. (This would be through any seasickness displayed, or by tripping/falling when the ship hit a big wave, that sort of thing. ^^)
~ • ~ • ~ ( Oh, I've just been waiting for the right time. 😉😈 )
"I am not self-centered." Normally he wouldn't argue against a claim like that, but Seth hadn't done anything purely for himself in weeks before today. Even his training and exercise, which he generally enjoyed, was more for Anya's sake, so he would be ready to keep her and her family safe. If he was just doing rhat for himself, he wouldn't wake up an hour or more before that blasted rooster.

I want to say that Morgan's behind a week of Seth. Because they both left at the same time. He an the Vera's got to the safe house at the same time Seth fought the Reaper. Kyra showed up the next morning as they burned Alia and Ryven. They rescued Cal that night, so currently while they're fighting the Riders, Seth and Anya should be reaching Ashborne.)
Parker wasn't a sailor. That became very apparent in the first two days of being at sea properly. While at port, he had been doing alright with the tasks given to him. However, once more on the rolling sea, his small reserve of confidence was wearing thin. One too many time he had tripped over nothing due to the uncertainty of the ship's deck, or had to make a mad dash to the rails when the choppy waters convinced his body that he really didn't need the breakfast he had enjoyed.
The only thing helping him not become butter about the situation was the fact that he was the crew interactions. Slowly he was repairing his standings with Quill and Mason, and even the healers apprentice, Finn (whom I realized only yesterday that I might have to change the name of now that we have Finley named. XD). Even some of the other crew members were coming around, having short burst of conversations here and there as they worked. It wasn't a lot, but it was progress. That was enough for him to know he was doing this whole thing right. Even the nickname they tagged on him wasn't that bad because, let's face it, he was struggling. However, Parker had the ability to laugh at himself and roll with it, knowing that the term wasn't given in malice. He knew this because he had asked Quill about it.
On the second night, dinner had been over for a couple of hours now, and most of the crew was fast asleep. Parker, however, was having problems finding his own need for rest. The day had been a slow one. Fair weather, good winds, and no run ins with any other ships. That meant there had been less work for them to do. He had tried looking for things to be done to keep him busy, but there was o ly so much he could find. So most of the day had been spent wandering the ship and talking with people. He visited the infirmary and spoke with Jess and Finn, then the kitchens to see if Cillian might be in need of assistance. Other than the few odd and end jobs of cleaning, he was soon sent on his way again.
So now he laid in his hammock, wide awake. Parker didn't know what to do. Normally, whenever he couldn't sleep, he'd find that the source was usually Anya. Whenever she couldn't sleep, he couldn't. He never knew why that was, but nearly always it was because something was bothering her. Here, though, he didn't have his sister to blame or to talk to.He could go up to the main deck, but he didn't want to bother any if the people on night shift. The training room? He had taken a look at it earlier, but hadn't used it himself. For starters, he didn't know how to fight, so he didn't see the need to use it. Yet with his extra energy, maybe hitting a punching bag a couple of times would help wear him out.
As silently as he could, the young man got out of his hammock. He glanced around to make sure he didn't wake anyone, then quietly heading for the training room. He had suck out of his house at night many times, so he at least had the skills to be quiet now. They weren't perfect, but he knew he wouldn't wake anyone unless he made any extra noise. Whether or not he did, the crew remained sleeping as he slipped out of their quarters and made the short trip to the training room.

( That's about what I figured. So that would put them at September 14, cause that's the date you assigned to Seth&Anya's arrival in Ashborne. Seth and Anya are at September 22, the day Parker was captured. Add three weeks to that and I think Parker would have actually been rescued closer to the 13th of October. Which, I think, would actually be better and more ironic, since there were thirteen slaves and I have already decided that thirteen is an unlucky number for pirates. xD Anyway, the next day (14th) was the storm and their arrival at the island. They left on the 15th, we skipped over that day and the next (16th), so it is now very late on the 16th, or very early on the 17th of October. What do you think? Is my math faulty? xD )
Sol was not a big sleeper. He never really had been. Before he became a soldier, a sailor, captain or Pirate King, Sol was only averaging three to five hours of sleep a night. It had always been enough for him, even while most everyone around him needed at least eight hours of sleep to function properly.
Ever since Sol and his crew set out to rescue Princess Arabella, however, Sol had been sleeping even less than usual. Finding the time wasn't the problem. No, the problem was the crazy princess occupying his quarters.
Sol had never considered himself to be a picky person. He had travelled all over the world, had seen and tried things other people could only dream of. He never said no to trying new things, he hadn't complained in more than a joking manner since he was a kid. He had spent nights on land in all manner of different sleeping places: an actual bed (several different ones, in fact), a pile of blankets, a hammock, even right on the ground. He never had any problems falling asleep then.
Now? Now was a different story. Turns out, Sol had become partial as the captain of the Comet. In the four and a half years since she had been rebuilt, Sol had only ever slept in his bed, in his quarters, while at sea. Now that bed was being used by his stepbrother's demoness of a fiancée. And Sol was finding it hard to sleep elsewhere.
Those first few nights he had tried sleeping in a hammock like the rest of his crew. He could relax there no problem, maybe catch a power nap, but actual sleep eluded him. He could hear too much of what was going on above him, and even though he trusted his ship and his crew in Beckham's capable hands, anytime he heard about a problem or some small issue, he was up and on deck before he even realized what he was doing.
Next he tried sleeping in one of the guest bedrooms a level down. He hadn't been able to hear anything from top deck down there, which was good. But that's when he realized he had become addicted to his own mattress, and any other just wouldn't cut it. It was driving him crazy.
He retired every other night to that room anyway, and got as much fitful sleep as possible before giving up. Something he had found that helped a little was a good long workout before bed. So that night, when Beckham ordered him to bed (Sol had been up for almost twenty hours by that point, so he didn't argue), he went. He just made a detour first.
Which was how he came to be in the training room, working through some old training exercises, when Parker snuck in. Sol had his back to the door, his attention on the lifelike dummy he was hitting over and over with well-placed punches and powerful kicks. He was barefoot and shirtless, and covered in a light sheen of sweat... and scars. His back was a map of them, most small and hard to see at a distance, but three large slashes stretched from his shoulder blades to his lower back. Those were hard to miss.
Sol didn't turn when the door opened, but Apollo and Artemis sat up when Parker came in. Both dogs had been sleeping, but they wouldn't be very good guards if they slept through intruders. Luckily for Parker, the dogs had been given no commands to guard before Sol started his workout, so neither alerted Sol or attacked. In fact, after seeing who it was, Apollo got up and trotted over to say hello. Artemis just went back to sleep.
(That is true... Well, he's your character now. You can change it to whatever you want. xD )
~ • ~ • ~ ( Woop, there it is. xD )
"I don't need to find time," Seth said offhandedly. "Anya and I are sharing a room. I just need to wait until bedtime if I want to show off." For once, Seth wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying, so he didn't realize how that statement come off until after he said it. Even when he did realize, he didn't really care. The only showing off he was doing at bedtime was his art skills, but Warren didn't need to know that. Seth didn't want him to have anything else to try and fault him for.

(Right!I think all of those dates sound just about right. ^^ And don't worry, math isn't my strongest skill either, so if anything's wrong, no one is going to contradict us. XD)
It was clear someone had the same idea as he did when he opened the door. Parker could hear the punches landing on one of the punching bags or dummies that the room held. He took two steps into the room and closed the doors behind him before Apollo had appeared. Smiling, he reached down to pet his head. "Hey, bud. Your sister in here beating up something?" he asked, for he had learned to dogs were siblings in the past two days. However, the more correct answer was most likely their owner. Sure enough, when he glanced about the room, he spotted Sol, shirtless, barefoot, and sweaty, throwing the punches.
Now, he was going to be honest. Sol was a good looking guy. Very good looking. It was a little hard for him to not steal glances his way whenever he was on the main deck and in sight. However, Parker had done well keeping any wild ideas or notions out of his mind for many reasons. One was that he hardly knew the captain, hardly spoke to him outside work related stuff. Not to mention, after everything that had happened, he'd have zero chances. Another being that Sol, good looking and respectable as he was, probably already had his eyes, and perhaps more, on someone else. Then there was that one detail that had given him problems in the past: he probably didn't even like guys. All of that combined had done a good job with keeping his mind and foolish emotions in check as he went about his daily work. Sol wasn't doing much to help him, though, in his current state. Luckily, Parker was able to keep control of himself. He was his captain, and nothing more.
His eyes, however, stared at him, watching as he went through the routine he was following. He tried to focus on the way he was practicing, see how he threw which punch, and what he followed it up with, but the scars on his back seemed to be of more interest. There was a story there, one he probably had no right to ask about, but that didn't mean his curiosity hadn't been peeked.
(I just don't know what to change it to. XD)
~*~*~
That put Warren in a moment of shocked silence. Which quickly turned into a very heated anger. Dragon Rider or not, the boy pulled back and smashed his fist into Seth's face with no warning.
(He can take it or avoid it. Either way, someone's going to play the "he beat me up for no reason" card on Anya. XD)

( Good, cause that is what I have written down, and I'm not changing it. xD Also, when you get the chance (no rush or anything) would you mind counting out how long it's been since we started again? I'm hoping, now that we're using actual dates to keep track, that I can put a date on the day they first met, so Seth can surprise Anya by remembering. He can give her a gift or take her somewhere special, all "happy anniversary," and Anya can be like "we haven't been dating a year yet," and Seth can be all cute and tell her its the anniversary of the day they first met. 😘😁💡🤯 Oh... em gee. THAT'S WHY LEON WAS AFTER HER. I FIGURED IT OUT!!!!!!!! )
Apollo wagged his tail, tongue lolling happily, and pressed his body against Parker to soak in as much attention as possible.
On the other side of the room, Sol hit the dummy a final time, hard enough to make it slide several inches backward. He held a ready stance for a moment more, regaining his breath, before relaxing. He wiped some sweat from his brow, turned around — and froze. "What are you doing here?" he asked, more aggressively than he had intended. His tone brought Artemis to her feet with a soft growl.
~ • ~ • ~ ( Aye, aye. xD )
There may not have been much warning, but Seth's reflexes were fast. His body knew what to do, even while his mind took a second to catch up. By that time, he had already twisted out of the way of Warren's punch. His hand shot up, caught the other man's wrist, and with a neat twist and pull, he had Warren spun around, with his arm pinned up behind his back. (Like how cops restrain bad guys.) Seth held him there for a beat, then released him with a light shove. "I suggest you don't try that again," he warned.

LOL. Riiiight. xD Okay, damn it, I can't explain right now cause I'm about to start work. DAMN YOU BRAIN AND YOUR ROTTEN TIMING. But I will tell you first chance I get! )
Sol muttered irritably and stalked over to where he left his shirt. He yanked it on, picked up a small towel that was nearby, and sighed. "No, you're fine. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you. You startled me." He shot Parker a look, part annoyed, part admiring. "That's not easy to do."
~ • ~ • ~ This time, Seth caught Warren's fist, stopping it cold several inches from its intended target. His other hand shot up and out, shoving Warren backward once more. "You think I don't know that?" he snapped. "I didn't ask for this friendship, but I'll be damned before I give it up. So long as she wants me around, I'm not going anywhere."

( Okay, almost done work! I've got maaaaybe half an hour left. 😁 )
Sol just grunted. He ran the towel over his face and hair, making the short, sweaty strands stick up rather crazily. He shook his head to flatten it out again. "Do you actually believe in the gods?" he asked finally, tossing the towel into a basket in the far corner. It fell short, but Artemis was quick to get it where it was meant to go. "Thank you, beautiful," Sol told her. She seemed to smile at the compliment.
~ • ~ • ~ "Because she is my friend," Seth snapped back. "She was my friend back in Ilirea, before all the crazy shit went down, and she is my friend now. I may not have known her as long as you have, but I know her well enough to know she doesn't just drop friends when they lose their spark."

( That's unlikely right now. The higher ups have been very lenient about phones since I've been back to work. I've seen most of my coworkers pull theirs out when they're between jobs. I try not to, but somedays I just say "screw it." xD
Okay, here we go: We've talked briefly in the past about why Leon was in the forest that day trying to capture/kill Anya. She was meant to be a spy for the Rebels, because she was trained by one of their own (Nick). And that can still hold true. However, I think it should have been a minor part of the plan. I think Anya has a more important role in the coming war than anyone has yet realized, and THAT is why the Rebels wanted her on their side. Because they have a powerful seer, and he/she saw Anya as their means to victory... or defeat. Now, what that neans can differ greatly. Anya can either do something big (like be the one to kill Genevieve), or it can simply be her bringing Seth to the Rebels side. I, personally, want it to be something big. Not kill Genevieve big — I feel like that's Seth's fight — but something. The other side to this, though, is that Anya could also bring about the Rebels downfall. Which is why "get her on our side" was Plan A, and Plan B was to kill her. In their heads, killing her off was better than having her fight with the enemy. What do you think? )
"She sounds like a remarkable woman," Sol commented. His own mother was in a position to solve world problems, but had such ever even crossed her mind? Not once. She was more concerned with looking the part of a queen than acting like one. "But no, I don't believe in the gods. And even if they did exist, they do not strike me as the kinds of beings who would concern themselves with lowly humans."
~ • ~ • ~ When the door of the store opened, Seth took a step away from Warren and drew in a deep breath. "Nothing. I was just leaving." And so saying, he stepped back again, into a portal dimension, and disappeared.

(Still, I felt obligated to tell you. You don't have to listen to me, but at least I did my part. XD
Oooooo, that is a great plan! You're right in she shouldn't be the one to kill Genevieve, but perhaps she could be the one to tip the scales of war in their favor. Perhaps, with whatever light powers she gets, it gives them an advantage just big enough for the Rebels to get a good foothold in the fight. Perhaps even kill several of the main top Riders in the Order. Perhaps she has an ability that can kill multiple people at once, but it's such a risky one that she can only use it once during the battle. However, once is all is needed for the Rebels to win. Without her, the battle might have been a good even fight, so the Seer saw this ability as the tipping point. It was better to have her use it for them before she can use it against them.)
"That she is," Parker agreed. Then nodded to his words. "Perhaps you're right, but we're humans. We all have to believe in something. My mother believes in the gods, I believe in her, and you believe in whatever you believe in. If we didn't, we would have nothing to keep us going, to give us some kind of understanding of the world."

(I'm going to assume Aidan is there. If you don't want to rp an interaction with him, then we can skip. ^^ )
While he was gone, Anya had dried off and changed clothes. When she headed downstairs to see if the others had made it back yet, and was surprised to find that Aidan was sitting in the kitchen. Her mother had made lunch, and the boy must have made it to the house just before the storm hit.

( You did, and I will be careful not to get caught in trouble. xD
Haha! Great minds strike again! That's almost exactly the kind of scenario I was thinking of. Only in my mind, Anya uses this power when the Rebels are losing. Like, the battle starts pretty even, but Genevieve Order Riders are dirty cheats, so they do something that starts pushing the Rebels back/causing them to start losing rapidly. Seeing this, Anya employs her secret weapon, and the fight turns to favor the Rebels. That's probably about the time the Elves and wild dragons will arrive too. ;D )
Sol studied the man before him. He had never thought about it in those terms before, but it was what he knew to be true. Instead of responding, however, he asked, "Do you know how to fight?"
~ • ~ • ~ ( Yeah, he's there. ;) Also, you know how Anya sent Seth to get Warren to keep him from getting sick? Well, what if Seth gets sick instead? xD )

(XD Good.
When she uses it is flexible, and, actually, saving it for last would be more likely for her. Whoever is teaching her this ability might be trying to get her to master it so she can use it at the start or multiple times, but Anya, who still doesn't want to resort to mass killing if she can help it, only wants it to be a spell used when all else has failed.)
Parker, whose gaze had wandered in his contemplation, looked back to Sol at his next question. "Other than poor man's fist fighting and wrestling, no, I don't," he admitted. "I've never had a need to learn."

Parker gave a sheepish smile. "Well, when you put it like that, it just sounds sad," he commented, laughing slightly.

"You're welcome, Aidan dear. Glad to see someone values my cooking," Maria said, teasingly glaring at her daughter before going to get her a plate.
Anya smiled and took a seat at the table. "He was taking one of my friends back home so he wouldn't have to walk in the rain. He should be getting back any minute," she responded, thanking her mother for the food placed before her.

Parker nodded. "When working, I will use either hand as the dominant one, but with writing and stuff like that, I'm left handed," he answered. That was one of the things Anya had learned that she wanted to see if it was the same for him. Since everyone else in the family was right handed, it was just natural for them to be taught to be right handed as well. But when Anya had him try out a few simple, she was proven right. "Is that going to be a problem?"
~•~•~
Anya glanced over at Seth as he came into view. Aidan, of course, was the first to greet him. "What took you so long?" She asked. She had thought Seth would bring Warren here to wait out the storm and dry off. However when she had come downstairs and he wasn't back yet, she figured he had taken him home.
