Hope pushed her food around on her plate for several more minutes before she gave up and hope of gaining her appetite back. She stood after a while. "I am going to go shower." She said softly before taking her plate to the trash to dump the food and then to the dishwasher.

" I like the idea of an abandoned buildig more. I'm not too into people." Miley said as they headed down the street. She had to walk for a little bit before they found an old abandoned warehouse. Walking around it, she found a backdoor and let go of Flynns leash to kick in the old wooden door. With a grunt she had to kick it a few times before it cracked at the lock and went flying open. Dust and rotton wood that was loose on the door flew everywhere and she sighed.
Looking down at Flynn, " ready to go in?" She asked. The building was quite dark so they would have to go in blind until they could assemble a torch or find a flash light.

She nodded and watched him go in. Leaning against the door frame, she perked into the darkness. Besides the over whelming stench of mildew and moist, rotten wood the building was empty of humans. Flapping could be heard, probably bats. " Smell anything?" She asked quietly.

"Great for you to be doing that." He knew he couldn't handle that. To many kids to deal with and lots of drama. It wasn't for him. A couple of kids he could handle, but a full class? Not going to happen. "I'm sure making all those crafts will help make it fun too," he teased slightly.
---
Amelia couldn't help but let out a laugh at the end of his story and he covered her mouth, trying to contain her laughter. "I'm sorry, it's not funny but I can't help but laugh. It is funny. Good to know why you don't like rain much then." She knew that's not why and knew he did like rain just fine, she was just teasing him. "Letting you stay out in the rain for too long is not a good thing."

Miley followed, going to the living room. It has a very dusty couch that was ripped up on the ends and a few wooden chairs. The couch reeked of mouse pee anyway so she went to the chair as wiped a film of dust off of it. Wiping her hand on her pants, she turned to begin to look for something to light on fire or make light. " If you could find a flash light or something, that would be amazing."

"I'm nineteen, will be twenty this fall. I also go to college here, and my main hobby is dancing," Sophia replied. "Ballet mostly. What are you going to college for?" ~* "Yeah, I guess so," Charles replied, grinning. It felt nice to be exploring again, like he was a kid again. "And the weather is nice too. I would have hated to have you show me around in the rain."
(Lol, I'll have to find time to watch it then.) (Nope, that was perfectly fine!) In fact, Lexi had none a little about Cal's old high school days, yet she felt it was best not to mention or even hold that knowledge over the boy. It was obvious that he had come a long way since then by the way he spoke. Even Mark was starting to think higher of the boy dating his daughter so much that he didn't argue when Cal and Finley decided to go home. She was probably tire anyway, so he didn't mind their movie invite decline. Finley, who had rested her head against Cal's shoulder as they walked across the parking lot, smiled at his comment. "See, my dad isn't so terrifying after all once you get to know each other," she said, tilting her head back to look up at him. "I think it's safe to say that they like you too." I didn't know how much you wanted to rp the car ride, so I sort of skipped it, but if you want to add something be my guest) Cal looked down at Finley when she told him it was safe to think her parents liked him. "He wasn't as bad as I thought he'd be," Cal confessed, "considering I'm the boy dating his daughter and all." Cal, obviously, didn't have sisters, but he did hail from a large family where his uncles with daughters always told stories at holidays about threatening their daughter's boyfriends. Mark hadn't done that, but Cal wasn't going to say he wouldn't if they were ever left alone together. Pushing all jokes aside, Cal went on. "Honestly, I'm happy they like me. They're gonna have to get used to me, after all." He gently nudged her with his shoulder as they approached his car. The ride back to Finley's was a fairly short one - even still, Finley was allowed to DJ the ride. It was an honor, too, to be in control of music in Cal's car. Typically he didn't listen to anything while driving - which made him the most awful driver for long distances - or turned the radio down to barely audible. The couple had carried on their conversation during the ride but it had stopped when they arrived in her driveway. "C'mon, I'll walk you to your door," Cal told her, unbuckling his seatbelt. They hadn't discussed if Cal was going to join her inside, and he certainly wasn't going to invite himself over unless she told him to stay.

"Okay," Lisa said, watching her as she put up her plate and left the room. While she was gone, she made sure to lecture Peter about not pushing himself. He was still injured, so she didn't want him to do anything that might reopen any wounds. Peter listened and agreed to his mother, even though he knew if anything bad were to happen, he wouldn't hesitate to step in and protect them. He didn't know how that would work out, but he would try nonetheless. Hope took a quick shower. When she finished, she put on a pair of jean shorts and a fitted grey tshirt with a black AC/DC logo on the front. Then she wiped the fog off of the mirror from her shower and applied her makeup carefully. When she finished, she stood in front of the mirror to make sure that every detail was perfect. After all, she hadn't seen Jaxon in several months. Sure they had ended on bad terms, but Hope found herself wanting things to be okay between them. As the thought crossed her mind, she felt a pang of guilt. She felt as if she were betraying Peter by wanting to see her ex-boyfriend. "You and Peter are not dating." She reminded herself. "It wouldn't ever happen anyway." With that final thought she headed back downstairs.

Sophia giggled. "Yeah, thankfully it's not hard to keep their attention on something," she said. "It will certainly never be a boring occupation, that's for sure."
~*
"Oh no, it's hilarious now," Charles assured her. He chuckled at his own stupidity. It was funny when you thought about. To be honest, he even thought his parents laughed at him after he got over the cold. "I try to limit my time in the rain if I can help it."
"I doubt there'll be anything working here," Flynn said, "but I can go look. If I can't find anything, then we'll just have to try and get as comfortable as we can for the night."
(Okay!)
Finley was quiet the opposite of him. She always had the radio on in her car. It helped her focus while driving, and helped her relax. She found that whenever the radio was off, she tended to zone out. However, she knew Cal didn't like the radio on too loud, so she kept the music at a respectful volume so they could still talk easily to each other. Even though the ride was short, she could feel herself grow more tired as they rode. When they reached her drive way, she was fighting back against a yawn.
"Thanks," she muttered as she got out of the car. The girl walked around the car and up the front steps of her porch with him. "Do you want to come inside, or is there someplace else you have to be?" she asked as she unlocked and opened the door. She looked up at him as she stepped inside, waiting for him to answer.

Gah! Sorry if this is sort of unworkable, I'm not totally sure if we should skip or keep RPing that night impromptu sleepover so I sorta left that up to you. I feel bad for this reply lol)
It had been a pretty long day for Cal, mostly with traveling. Even though Cal's family went, Cal drove himself so he could come and go as he pleased and could meet up with old friends from the area. He'd left late morning, before his folks, but had hit really, really bad traffic so he hadn't arrived until the afternoon. Put that on top of unpacking, doing some errands, running to Finley's show, and going out to dinner with her folks, he was pretty tired too. Cal had noticed Finley in the passenger seat looking pretty exhausted too. It was sort of adorable.
As he walked her up to her porch, he waited behind her to unlock her door. With her question if he wanted to come inside, he almost immediately wanted to tell her yes, considering they hadn't seen each other in awhile, but he instead ducked his head to catch the time on his watch. Upon seeing the time - which wasn't terribly late - he shook his head and rubbed his eyes. "I'm running on three hours of sleep. I don't think I'd be particularly fun company."

"No, it will not," Daniel agreed and drove for a couple minutes longer, driving into the forest and up a road. He then said, "we're almost there. What do you think about hiking?"
---
"That's understandable," Amelia answered, "but it's also nice to go out and just enjoy it because you want to. But mostly, I say we all try to avoid the rain as much as possible. We don't want to be caught in it, especially when we're not feeling up to it."

During her time in the shower, Peter finished eating his breakfasted, downed a pain pill for his headache, and then went back to his room to get dressed. By now, the boy had learned how to work around his cast. Of course, he still couldn't wear jeans comfortably, but he was able to wear black sweat pants just fine. Unlike Hope, he didn't feel the need to dress up for the meeting. Once he pulled on one of his many t-shirts, he went to brush his teeth and hair before rejoining his mother.
(Can you please give me something more to work with, Mistress? It's really hard to make good replies when you only make one sentence each time? If you don't know what to write, then try to build up your character a bit.)
(No, your replies were fine. I was just in a rush to get my reply done. Sorry about that. Yes, I was thinking it should end with a sleep over to, and I promise this reply will build up more to that. I was just afraid to do something with your character that you might not have agreed with, so I warned you to have the choice of how he answered before skipping too far ahead.)
"You and me both," Finley replied with a small laugh. "We don't have to try and talk. We can just chill on the couch for a while. Maybe watch a movie." She really didn't care if they just sat there in silence. It felt like forever since they last spent time together, and she just wanted to take a moment to sit down and relax with him before he had to leave.
"Or you could just stay the night," she offered as he rubbed his eyes. Sure, he didn't live far from her. However, the thought of him driving while he was exhausted didn't sit well with her. Not with Ty's accident in the back of her mind. "I'd much rather you rest here if you don't have anything else to do, instead of falling to sleep behind the wheel."

Amanda was siting in her room reading a book, and she too was really scared, and nervous about the trial too. She really wished that the trial was already over, and that he was already in juvi or something. She kept having more feelings for James, and she was still scared to admit it in fear of Adam somehow breaking out. Samantha walked over to him, and sat next to him she was afraid to tell him. She was afraid of his reaction when she told him the other half why she broke up with him. This better?}

No worries! I'm literally down for anything so I'll just go w the flow of what happens here)
At Finley's suggestion, Cal thought for a moment. His parents wouldn't care - in essence, once he started college, his parents basically told him they didn't care what he did during the summers when he was home, as long as he had his cell phone on him and didn't get into too much trouble. Regardless, his folks knew he had a date with Finley that night, so if he didn't come home, they probably wouldn't worry too much. Cal couldn't even find the words, on a good day, about how much it meant to him that Finley didn't want him driving the five minutes to his house because he was tired. "You wouldn't mind me staying the night?" He questioned, blinking. Cal had never officially spent the night with her before, so that's why he, somewhat stupidly, parroted the question.
That only resulted in Finley pulling him inside, telling him she was sure and she didn't care, seeing as she offered. Cal, with a well-known grin, thanked her again for letting him stay before blinking down at her. He felt slightly more energetic now then he did a few minutes ago, probably seeing as he was with someone now and wasn't facing being alone anymore. Cal made his way slightly more into the familiar home.

Daniel grinned as well and all he said was, "we are hiking to something, not hiking until we are tired. I think that's all you need to know until we get there. I do believe though you have a guess at what we are doing. Would you mind sharing what you're thinking?"
---
Amelia shrugged, "that's a mystery to me just like to everyone else who goes through the pain and suffering of knowing what something will bring and still do it anyways." She stopped walking and turned to face, "we're getting close to where I live now. I should go tell my mom I'll be gone the rest of the day so she doesn't worry. Is that alright?" She wanted to double check she could leave him alone and she come right back without having him disappear or wonder if she needed to take him with her to tell her mom.

(Yes.)
James kicked off his shoes by the door and hung up his jacket before heading upstairs. He had no idea if anyone was home, but he planned on checking for Amanda in her room just to be sure. Stopping by the guest room door, he knocked a few times. Then paused to hear f an answer came from the other side.
~* "Finally wake up, did you?" Riley asked causally, not glancing up at her. He partly did this because he was so close to finishing his homework, and partly because he was a little salty about her refusal to talk to him about the break up. Yet his tone was light because he had asked her over, and she did just wake up. No need to start a fight right after a nap.
(Haha, okay!)
"Of course, I don't mind," Finley replied as she pulled him inside the house, closing the door behind him. "Besides, I'd much rather have you here, than somewhere else." She smiled and grabbed is hand, leading him over to the couch. Like so many times before, she made herself comfortable snuggled up against Cal once he was seated next to her, head on his shoulder. "Whenever you want to go to bed, just tell me. If I fall asleep before you, the guest room is down the hall to the left," she explained. He pretty much knew where everything else was in the house, so she didn't bother reminding him about it. "Just make yourself at home."
"Is there a river or a lake near here?" Sophia asked. "My guess is that we're hiking to one of those places, or someplace that you know about and I don't."
~*
"Oh, of course. If you are needed at home, then don't let me pull you away," Charles said. He'd hate to keep her busy if her mother needed her help more than he did. After all, he could navigate the town pretty well now if he needed to. Her mother might not have someone else to help we if Amelia was gone all day.

"Well, yes, there is one around here," Daniel answered and came to a small parking lot and parked. "But we are not going there, we are going somewhere else."
---
Amelia shook her head, "no, I'm not needed at home, as long as I tell her. I can just make up the work later. Unless you actually want me gone or think you can handle everything yourself without my help. Then it's okay. But she usually lets me go. You can of course come if you want but you don't have to either."

"Yeah I did, and I am ready to talk I guess," Samantha said as she tried to think of what to say, "It might be awkward when I tell you this." She added.
"Come in," Amanda replied without looking up from her book, and she did adjust herself on the bed before she looked up from her book to listen to what James said.

"Well okay then," Sophia said, getting out of the car once he was parked. "Show me this mysterious place you know about." She gave a small smile as she walked around the car to stand by him. Since he knew where they were going, she waited for him to take the lead.

"I'd hate to impose, but I guess it wouldn't hurt for your mother to see why you'll be gone all day," Charles said. He did't want to barge into their home, even if he had been invited. Yet at the same time, he could apologize for stealing her daughter away for the day and make sure for himself that he wasn't interfering with any work that Amelia needed to get done.
Riley paused in his writing for a moment before putting down his pencil. Turning around, he moved to where he could see her better. "Alright then, I'm all ears," he said.

At her words, James opened the door ad stepped into the room. "Hey," he greeted with a smile. "You busy at the moment?" If she was in the middle of something, he didn't want to impose on whatever she was going.
