{ OLLIVANDER "OLLIE" GALINSKI } ✶ -- female ; 20 ; brown hair && dark almond shaped eyes; quiet, stubborn, resourceful
for those that are curious… Ollivander- I mean Ollie, I must insist that you call her Ollie, she’d bite your head off otherwise, stands at 5 feet and 8 inches. A little above the average height, but nothing worth mentioning. Her dark brown hair is, more often than not, kept short. If only you had been there to see her father’s reaction when she had taken a buzzer to her lush locks! His ill defined eyebrows suddenly having an air of surprise about them as she walked into the kitchen for breakfast that humid september morning. When inquired why she had ridded herself of her hair she offered a slight shrug and a simple “didn’t care for it”. And that's just how Ollie is, short, concise and to the point, she does not waste her time on long explanations to ensure that there is no misunderstanding. Considering that the Galinski’s have records dating their presence in Ukraine and the Cwiek’s in Poland, Ollie takes after both sides of her family in that respect when it comes to her clean light skin and sharp cheekbones. Her dark, almond shaped eyes are usually focused and piercing, hardly ever breaking concentration, but as the days bleed into the next, a dullness is persisting upon them and exhaustion is pulling at their edges. She is thin, especially now with the recent events, and tends to shrink on herself on the occasion, especially when she’s spitting out words that are callous and well-formed. She has a weak chin, prominent eyebrows and slightly bowed lips. She does smile. Really. And it’s quite a beautiful smile. But it is a rather rare sight so don’t get your hopes too high. Despite the odds, a few freckles sprout across her nose very lightly. She’s tactile and touches many things; her fingers are generally covered in ink or something of the likes, and light in callouses.
Once she finds a belief she runs with it and is quite insistent that she is correct. She is not good at being with people her age, or anyone for that matter. She had some pretty strict ideas of how things ought to be, strong thoughts on who people ought to be, and has a lack of a filter despite being a women of few words. She’s pretty good at speaking english, at least, considering how she wasn’t too excited to learn it in the first place and often refused to communicate with her father whenever he spoke it at home. Especially since she’s only lived in the US since the spring (and what a shit show it has been). Ollie’s first language is Polish and has an accent, but speaks German as well. She is well educated and is intuitive, resourceful and craves knowledge constantly. Before the blackout you could find her with a book, notepad, and pen in hand at all times. She is empathetic and caring but she isn't a push over, what you see is what you get. I wouldn't necessarily say that she is fearless, she is full of a lot of fears, like being helpless and sickness, but she does have a rather bold streak of courage in her. It would be wise for anyone to befriend this quick-witted lady if she gives you the chance, she is as loyal as they come and once you've formed a companionship you can undoubtedly count on her. Of course she has her flaws, she is a hard introvert, too independent (if you ask me), quick tempered at times, and has a little nasty habit of smoking.
Her parents had met when her Papa was being reckless and dangerous, and her mama had fixed him up well. How one falls in love in a hospital, Ollie would never know, she thinks that fate was in a very tricky mood that day. She was born soon after on a snowy morning in December. Her mama always liked to tell her that she was like a mały gołąb, small and beautiful. Her mama died when she was eight - she was old enough to remember her. On good days she can recall standing on a chair in the kitchen watching as her mama's nimble hands diced up vegetables and skinned meat. She would let her toss their contents into the pot for stew and papa would come sauntering in just in time for the first bowl. Her mama taught her how to cook, sew, read and write, all things she holds dear to her heart. After her mother's passing the child grew up fast and quickly learned how to take care of herself as well as her papa. Up until the black out she nagged him about getting enough rest and silently worried about his health. Only a few months ago did she and her father move from Poland to America in search of a "fresh start". Ollie would have liked to believe him but she knew better than that to have wishful thinking and that they had come into problems with money and he had gotten a job in America. Why America? She couldn't tell you. Ollie had woken up early that morning as she did every morning and fixed up breakfast for the both of them and sat at the table and accepted that her father was not coming and neither was the sun long after their meals had gone ice cold. She does not know what happened to her papa but her heart is heavy with worry for the old man.
extras anxious about lightning storms always carries a sketchbook, book and pen would rather wear a sweater and sweat then anything misses home dearly tries to execute fairness in the name of her mother
dislikes disloyalty complaining/whinging opening up to others/showing weakness speaking in english
likes birds gold & blue & brown solitude fairness art history classical folk

I wouldn't mind writing out them getting their names names if you want to! I suppose writing ebbe in that time would be really enjoyable wouldn't it? XD Also no Silverstar would not have been emotional.] >:~) yes, yes it would I also wanted to talk to you about that! how would you feel for ~plot/drama~ sake if ebbe, being the sh*tstirrer she is denied her clan name ~ or would that be too much ? like i am ALL for ebbekit but also ebbe being ebbe would give silver, echo, silas all the heart attack/ache they don't deserve LOL ]

[ HELLO sorry for the delay!! I got really distracted by something this weekend cough so it took me longer to do hw, and thus more time to get to these than I expected. xD My muse has been kinda low these past few days so these prollllllly suck. :") Sorry fam!! I hope the weekend has treated everyone well <33 noble. tbh I wasn't sure if Cardinalsong should know about what happened with Baybone, Milkpaw, and Graywater so I just... stopped there. xD I feel like it would've been a clan scandal but also, yeah wasn't sure if I should mention it directly lol :') 🎃❅❖.Şp໐໐kฯຟiຖ໓.❖❅🎃 ok the thought just struck me seeing the 2 couples on our front page b UT hear me out, hear me out. If Honey and Clover were in the nursery around the same time and Dark and Azure came to visit them, Dark and Azure would probably interact at some point and I'm just lOLING AT THE IDEA OF TAKO AND INIGO INTERACTING ] Lionpaw with Tawnypaw It'd be better if they were far away, Lionpaw mused to himself as Tawnypaw spoke, though he didn't dare actually voice such thoughts. She was already in a melancholic mood and making it worse was not his goal. Still, the tom shifted his paws somewhat awkwardly as she spoke. As Cinderspark's apprentice, he had always strictly followed the warrior code, and he didn't understand why cats like Augustpetal were so drawn to those outside of the clan. This was no exception, even though Tawnypaw and Robinpaw were born outside of the clan. "Well, hey, if any cat gives you a hard time for having kin outside the clan, then send them my way and I'll give them a good talking-to!" he ventured eventually, figuring it was the safest thing to say. Sure, Lionpaw didn't think she should be torn between clan and kin, he thought the choice was obvious, but cats like Tawnypaw needed to know there were others on their side, to feel less alone and alienated! He shot her a cheerful grin, as if to assure her meant what he said. Cloudpaw with Coalpaw, Echomist, and Ebbe Cloudpaw nodded in agreement at Echomist and Coalpaw's words. If the kits were going to be a part of the clan from now on, he also felt that they should be given proper clan names. It wouldn't change the outlook of every cat in camp, per se, but certainly would help give the feeling that they were part of the clan now, not some random loner's kits that they were raising on a whim. His ears twitched when he heard a soft squeak interrupt them, glancing down at the sleeping kits to see that the small speckled she-kit had stirred from her sleep, likely because of their conversation. Oops... well, he'd tried to keep his voice down. Hopefully the others wouldn't wake up anytime soon - they needed their rest after, well, who knows how hard the journey was for such young kits? He leaned closer to Coalpaw and whispered to her, "It's probably not a good idea for them to reject a name change." Besides, Silverstar would have to announce the kits at some point. It wasn't exactly a well-kept secret that the nursery was now guarding these new little ones! Wondering if the kit was going to go back to sleep - he certainly wouldn't fault her for it if she did - or stay awake, Cloudpaw peered closer at her to get a better look. At least she hadn't woken up complaining about fever or nightmares or something to that effect! "But don't you want a name like your mother?" he asked her softly, trying to avoid disturbing her siblings. "Augustpetal was a... loyal and well-respected warrior." Admittedly, the tom's voice faltered and he inwardly winced at that. Yes, Augustpetal was a loyal warrior, but Cloudpaw had a hard time remembering her that way. After all, he and his mentors had been the ones dealing with all the cats with greencough - which Silas brought to camp, mind! - and he remembered having the hardest time separating the two mooning lovebirds. He pretty much gave up at some point, his paws were too full with the other sick cats. Not to mention the she-cat leaving the camp with the loner... no one would forget that any time soon, especially not with three reminders of it now residing in the nursery. Cardinalsong with Baybone Cardinalsong was relieved to see Baybone smiling. It seemed he had been deep in thought until she showed up, and she had hoped she wasn't disrupting anything. As to his question, the she-cat shrugged as she sat down next to him. "I'm doing okay," she responded. Her day certainly could've been going better, what with the depressing aura of camp. It seemed that no cat was keen on forgetting what happened just yet, although some were certainly trying by organizing patrols. She appreciated their efforts greatly, now that they didn't have a deputy to do that for them. Peering at Baybone curiously with her pale yellow eyes, Cardinalsong leaned closer almost conspiratorially. "How about you? What do you think of... what happened yesterday?" The sepia-furred warrior spoke quietly and calmly, trying to make sure no one else in camp could overhear them, almost like she thought the whole subject of... well, everything from yesterday, was just a taboo that shouldn't be spoken of. Besides, although she enjoyed his companionship, the she-cat had to admit Baybone was rather hard-to-read. Would he be upset that she mentioned it? Maybe he didn't want to talk about it, and she just totally ruined his day. Or maybe he absolutely loathed loners and was incredibly fired up about it? Cardinalsong had a feeling other cats, like Milkpaw, understood Baybone much better than she did - although... the way the two cats treated each other, it was hard to tell they had ever been close. She vaguely remembered seeing the two of them together, but nowadays they seemed to never be in each other's company.
Baybone reclined onto his haunches and watched as the others mingled amongst themselves, devising patrols in the absence of a new deputy. He was proud of his companions for organizing themselves and conducting themselves in a productive manner. There was no time for hiccups or pauses in patrols and duties, especially in this chilly air. His eyes trailed to Silverstar's den, his nose scrunching in disapproval, hopefully soon she would emerge and declare who the new deputy was so that they could all get on with their days. He flicked his green eyes to Cardinalsong now, lending her his full attention.
The large tom sighed slightly as Cardinalsong aired her question. It wasn't that he was irritated by her question, he welcomed her to speak to him! He was just hoping that their conversation would focus on a different topic other than the disruption and falsities that were happening.
"I think that Silverstar was in the right to demote Cinderspark, we don't need someone running around with a cat outside the clan and not following the code just because its inconvenient for them," He said cooly, his eyes stealing a glance at her. He did think Silverstar was in the right. How could they have a deputy that was suppose to guide them by the stars and the code if he couldn't even follow it himself. It seemed like every cat saw the rules set in place only legitimate when it suited them. "Hopefully there won't be any loner business and our fellow companions will learn their lesson..." he huffed, his tail lashing slightly as annoyance began to rise. It would be a waste of effort and time if his clanmates didn't learn from this. Maybe less cats would die in the future if they stopped taking in loners or engaging with them.
Ðᴏʟᴄᴇ honestly idk either LOL everytime i rp baybone I'm like wow.. i should really just kill him off and then I'm like oh no he's a baby i just need to give him another chance lol]
