Ah yes that's no fun! D: I can yell at you to stop procrastinating if you want, in a nice way. x3 Do you find that having creative writing classes help you get things accomplished?
That being said, I haven't written anything on my novel since Monday night. I've done some worldbuilding but that's it. WHOOPS But I have to at least submit something tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes.
Thanks! I hope it will go well. I am going to give it my best shot, at least!
Oh, I see! Water slides are amazing, for sure. Although I usually end up with a bunch of water up my nose and ears after riding. But the twists and turns and drops are just <3 Have you been to a water park before?
Cool! ^^ Was it a good lunch? Did you watch the fireworks that evening? And yeah, my neighbors are setting them off again tonight too. It's quite annoying when it's not the holiday any longer. If anything, they should really set them off before 10 PM so people can sleep. :')

Evening: Well you have my Instagram now so you can yell at me if you want. cx And yeah since the assignments have deadlines and there's penalties for not finishing something.
You can do it! I've been working more on poetry and short stories so I haven't worked on my novel in a while. >.<
You're welcome!
I've been to one of those parks where the pool has waves that come and go? That was fun.
It was a good lunch. ^^ And I watched fireworks on tv since I'm not good with loud noises. It does get annoying when they set off fireworks in the middle of the night.

Yes I didn't know Jayfeather was so sporty. It's muscle weight, I'm sure!
Winter: That's true! xD And yeah, the deadlines for the classes helped me out a TON :3
Thanks! That's understandable. As long as you're still writing, I figure that's the most important thing! I've been trying to fix some structural issues with my novel today. I always have to do a bit of outlining or else the whole story derails. I need to dedicate 1 writing session a week to poetry at least, I think. But that's easier said than done.
Oh I'd say that counts! Those wave pools are fun. Lazy rivers are great too, where you float in the water and the current pushes you through a river. I tried doing the lazy river yesterday without an inner tube but it was so shallow that I ended up having to walk through it, which was lame.
I'm glad to hear it! And that makes sense. Fireworks are pretty but yes, quite noisy. And it really is annoying!

It's way easier to be productive when there's a deadline.
You can do it! I hope you can get the structural issues out of the way. At least the writing part is out of the way and you just have to shift stuff around, right?
I ended up staying way too long in it and I didn't get sunburned but there was definitely a difference in my skin tone. >.< Lazy rivers sound fun too! Ah you could have just sat in it if it was really shallow. :3
Fireworks are very pretty, but they can get really annoying sometimes.

Hello there new person! It is nice to meet you :3 Winter: That's true! I didn't actually submit anything this week though...D: Ran out of time. But still, it's much better than nothing. Ah, but not quite. I'm actually almost done writing part 1 of my novel, out of 3 parts. But part 2 will be much longer. I got stuck on the last chapter of part 1, so I'm trying to make sure all the structural stuff is there before I continue writing. It's getting close, I think. I'm super far behind on my Camp goal, though. Oh yes, the water park tan lol. I'm sloooowly getting one of those but who knows how long it'll last. I've only been twice this summer so far. Sitting in it would be fun! Although I might get hit by a bunch of kids on their inner tubes xD Truth!

Mint: I'm doing okay. How about you?
Evening: Ah okay. Yeah at least it's better than nothing.
Ohh okay, got it now. Aw you can do it! At least you're trying. Writing is hard anyways so just keep trying to write. c:
Haha yeah those kids might not care if there's someone older just sitting in the pool and run you over. They don't have traffic laws. cx

I'm doing okay! I'm recovering from a sunburn. Also, writing and drawing a lot. Currently writing a fan fiction of unknown genre, because every time I think about it, the list of genres that fit it get longer. So far I have: historical fiction, fantasy, romance-y, paranormal?, and angst ridden-fan service. XD Needless to say, the story is also giving me a hard time. And I'm drawing. A lot. The only personal art I've done, however, was drawing my chair OC.

Mint: Cool! What fandom does your story belong to?
Winter: yes! And thanks! Yeah I’m definitely trying. I can’t let it be like last summer where I hardly wrote anything. I want draft 1 done before the end of the year at least... I need to read more, too, actually. And actually catch up on Warriors. x3 And all the other books on my very large reading list.
Yes! It’s always really awkward when you bump into a random stranger and have to walk-swim or paddle away while avoiding eye contact. :’)

Evening: A little niche fandom called Morganville Vampires. It's a YA urban fantasy series by Rachel Caine, though apparently there is a Adult series in the works last I heard. ^^ I RP some characters from the series and that grew into me making up side stories.

Mint: I'm glad you're doing well! Awe sunburns must hurt. I hope it gets better soon! Ooh writing and drawing are both fun; too bad I can only write and not draw. Good luck on what you're doing! Both things sound fun!
Evening: I've been trying to complete a draft of my novel before the year ends too, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen for me. >.< I have to read more too; I just keep getting distracted whenever I think about reading.
Exactly, especially since it's slower to walk through water than on ground. cx

Winter: The sunburn is down to the really itchy phase, so it's mostly stopped hurting. @.@ And it is fun! I need to get a lot of writing done today, I've been slacking. What do you write?

At least it's stopped hurting! But it being itchy is annoying too. :c You can do it! I mainly write poetry and nonfiction, I think it's paranormal(?) romance? Paranormal is a confusing genre.

Paranormal is a very confusing genre. Speaking as someone who writes in it. I just checked out of 20 books on the 1500 to 1600 hundreds ... to research a fan fiction ... No one can say I'm not dedicated. No one. XD I'm taking getting in character very seriously. So far I'm trying to work out how a regular day might be ... and then more simpler things like would my main character have a mirror in his house. I doubt the wonders of in internet. And in the case of clothing? All I get is a whole lotta frills. Poetry is fun! I had a part of an english class on it recently and found out that I love to read it and study it but noooooot write it. What sort of nonfiction?

Yeah I'm still not sure if what I write would be categorized in paranormal. Ooh research. I just use the internet since I write in a present-day setting.
Poetry is fun! Yeah it can be hard writing it. I meant fiction, sorry. >.< I still get those mixed up sometimes.

I need to use the internet too. But for some reason it just seems to much easier to use a book. All the information I need is in it, all I have to do it find the right index set. XD The internet, as it proved to me in the hour and a half I tried and failed to find an answer to something, tells me I should buy a house at the low, low price of some combination of 9 and 28 and 90 when I want to know about earthquakes. Last night was so frustrating but now I found it hilarious. So long ... for the web to try and get me to buy something or tell me that Wisconsin is really nice this time of year.
Oh no worries! I don't tend to write nonfiction, but I write historical fiction to some extent. Usually things in WW2 and in the middle ages or ancient history. I might consider writing nonfiction, but fiction is much easier. With fiction, I can mess around with facts.
I still do a surprisingly large amount of research even if things are set in the present day. Looking up real locations for my character to go on a date on, for starters.

That's what using the internet will do for writers doing research. cx We go in wanting to learn about one thing and come out learning about something completely irrelevant. It's interesting and amusing.
I don't write nonfiction either. It's just not as fun, in my opinion, since you can use your imagination more with fiction than nonfiction.
That's true. I do that a lot too. It's helpful when you don't live in that area and can't go to it.

Very. XD I've gone down many a rabbit hole that way. Sometimes I learn something new a cool. Otherwise, it just is fit to frustrate me.
Agreed! Agreed! I'm ... currently making up a completely fantasized backstory for a guy who's real records were burned in the fire of London ... One of them anyway. What I find hilarious is that he's the protag and I found him because in fantasy books this historical character's historical father is always the antagonist. It's ... so weird. And I have no idea why.
Google maps is fun! Though like the internet searches, somehow I seem to find myself along a random street in Hawaii instead of where I'm supposed to look.

I like it because I know a bunch of random facts now. cx
Ooh that sounds cool! My characters aren't that cool but I love them anyways. c:
Huh, for some reason I've never thought to use google maps. I just... google them.

Ooooooooh yes. I have whole sites of random facts. Or, like, actual random facts thing. I have a small collection of those Weird But True books. I'm sure they're cool! And get cooler with time. I'm constantly having to rework OCs so they're different from one another and what you expect. I have a particular tricky time of not having tropes make a character. That too! In the case of some of my futuristic books, I also heavily base some towns after ones I've been through.
