"God, look at those stars..." Cassidy whispered wistfully, her sweatered arms wrapped tightly around herself as she gazed towards the sky. They were passing by the park, so lights weren't particularly bright here. It made it easier to see the otherwise clear night sky. "Isn't that beauitiful? Isn't it just a beauitiful night?" Yes, Cassie was about as idealistic as they came. "You still owe me a camping trip, by the way. Somewhere outside of the city." She glanced sideways to her friend, pursing her lips. "Unless you thought I had forgotten about that Mister night howler."

Karina put her hood. As she followed the woman. Using the dark to her advantage, she stayed in the shadows. why are you doing this?! one voice said in her head, I have to find out if this woman is really what I think she is! another one protested.
Jackson put on a jacket and raced outside, hoping to catch Karina as she walked. It was no use, she was lost and out of sight in the darkness. Jackson decided to walk himself in hopes he would find her. He slowly walked in the direction the two had previously walked, usuing the light from his phone to guide his way.

There's another presence now. I'll play with them a bit. Dawn forced back a laugh and muttered to herself, but loud enough for others to hear, "Darn it Christine, how could I forget my umbrella?" She turned around and walked in the direction she had come from. She'd love to see how the girl would try hide herself when Dawn was heading straight for her!

Donovan let out a not-so-graceful yawn as he walked beside Cassie, hands tucked into the pockets of a worn out coat. Sure he had an appreciation for nature, save the Earth and all that jazz, but his nightly exploits never tended to be this leisurely. He snapped an eye open and quirked a brow at her, a wolfish grin spreading on his face before he let out a short laugh. "Night howler? Creative. Yeah yeah I remember, but since when am I an avid planner?" he pointed out with a shake of his head. "Excuse me for not being prepared, it's not like people often want to go on camping trips with me!" It wasn't like the city was very safe anyway, it was filled with all kinds of deadly species. Although the forest wasn't any better.

Karinas eyes flashed with worry as she turned back, "what the?!-" she muttered to herself. She then quickly put the hood over her head and turned away a bit, hoping she wouldn't reconize her seeing she changed into a sweatshirt after she passed the strange women. As she walked she accidentally bumped the woman hard in the shoulder, she let out a gasp before almost loosing her balance and falling.

( lol "dismayed and also slapped") "..." Katie wasn't sure how to react to a vampire apologizing to her. She figured it'd be best not to say he was half right. "Well just watch it next time." She mumbled in an annoyed tone. "And don't kick my dog either." She added as she checked that Vivi was alright. Helping her dog up, she gently pet her. She decided it would be best to leave before he asked more questions, so she turned to leave. He quirked an eyebrow and followed her. "How do you get the dog to like you? They usually hate me," he asked, grasping for an excuse to talk to her without just straight up asking what she was. "— I mean, even before I kick them or whatever." It was kind of given that a dog would hate you after you kicked it. ------ "Annnnnnddddd… gone," he said to himself playfully. The gruesome branches protruding down along his arms vanished, although they weren't actually gone. Any supernatural creature would still see the warlock's mark, but humans would not. Unfortunately for him, it would only look all the stranger for someone who was half of both. He exited his apartment building, dressed in a light blue sweater that was slightly showy and some jeans. He didn't have a good idea of where he was going; Lance just wanted some fun.

Dawn grabbed the girl by the wrist, helping her to keep balance. "Are you alright?" She asked in fake worry. She looked at the girl who's hoodie had now fallen behind her head, revealing her face. "You're the girl from before if I recall?"

Katie looked at him, not liking that he was following her, she didn't want to risk anything. "You raise and take care of it. It's not that big of a mystery." She shrugged, petting Vivi, who was watching him with a half snarl on her face. "Oh and you don't make threatening moves to their owner either." She added

He rolled his eyes. "How am I supposed to raise a dog if it always tries to bite me?" he retorted sarcastically. It wasn't his fault that animals just hated him out of nowhere! Well, he didn't really want a pet anyway. They were way too much work, especially for someone who slept all day and went out at night. Maybe the animal would adjust, or maybe he could get a nocturnal animal!

"Start with a puppy. But since you're out all night I suppose that wouldn't work. Try an owl or something." She shrugged, continuing to walk, not looking at him. She just wanted to go home and rest.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" She said, worry in her eyes. She stepped back when she heard the woman's second remark, "yeah, what's it matter to you?" She asked, tone sharper than before.
