yeah I'm just up for something cheesy tonight so let's go people you can roleplay whoever you want. The ultimate vampire overlord, some hobo, the owner of a flower shop, whoever. They don't have to even be vampires. Demons, witches, hell even centuars if you want }} He shoved the victim against the wall, careful that they'd never seen his face. Then, of course, he bit. He sunk his teeth below flesh until the vien gave itself up. He drank slowly and deliberately. Only a pint. Only a pint. He had to remind himself, though the amount he actually took could only be an estimation. It was a quick encounter for him; for his victim it was no doubt a forever long and horrifying experience. Was it sloppy? Yes. He moved often. Despite the fact that it was more likely more traumatizing and the pain more long-lived, he was selfish, and he couldn't bring himself to kill entirely. If he took much more than a pint— even if he left them alive— they would die later from the inevitable lack of blood. He also lived alone for this reason. He could do as he pleased, which meant eating as he pleased. Was it lonely? All the time. Then again, he'd gotten used to the feeling. When he finally finished, he took a step away, still holding the human in place. "Don't turn around. I'm leaving," he hissed, and for their own good, he hoped they wouldn't. Every time he said this, he was slightly afraid they would be someone he knew and hadn't recognized before he attacked.

Heya Bal o3o
-
Unlike a lot of the other members of her species, Aster was not a vampire who cared for the zombie's lives. They were a blood source and she left bodies in her wake. She was a vampire, a monster. Not a bloody blood donation human or whatever. She dropped the man who had been hassling her in the bar earlier. His blood was bitter and full of alcohol but it was filling and it satisfied her for tonight. She kicked the body so that it was lying on its stomach and wiped her shoes that had gotten drips of blood on it. For a moment, she studied his white skin before she moved away to continue on with her night, rubbing the blood away from her mouth as she passed one older woman who nearly had a heard attack at her appearance.
Aster really didn't give a damn.

Dawn let the bitter-sweet blood run through her fangs. She had a firm hand pushing a limp young girl against a tree. Dawn wasn't normally such a sloppy eater, but the taste of a young girl's blood was too much to contain. Dark red blood slipped down from both corners of her lips and met at the base of her chin, dripping onto the grass of the almost abandoned park. A young boy's body was strewn on the floor at an awkward angle, she had accidentally killed him before she had gotten the chance to drink, so she had decided his sister would be enough. The blood of children was so delightfully pleasing. Dawn pulled her fangs from the girl's neck and tossed the body to the floor, brushing a strand of her own black hair from her shoulder. She took in a shaky breath to calm herself down from the excitement, allowing her eyes to change from a deep scarlet red back to their normal light blue.

hey dudes! sorry I wasn't on. I think this will be my only post today }} Max turned away and briskly walked down the street. Something was off. He could sense another vampire. One was faint, maybe somewhere near the block. The other, however, was just ahead of him, walking this way. He cast his eyes to the sidewalk. Vampires were always more visible to others just after feeding; especially since most, unlike him, stuffed themselves but waited longer intervals to do so. He was like a steady but dim beacon whereas the two vampires nearby, let's just say he could tell they'd had a nice meal not but minutes ago, maybe even less. To call them pigs was false; it was natural to eat like that, although the effect on other vampires was undesirable. He knew it always made him feel just a bit hungrier than he knew he was; maybe it was just the idea of being that full that made him hungry. He didn't want to approach either vampire, though, so at least he knew where to avoid. Angelica skipped and hopped gracefully. The flashy silver crucifix hung around her neck seemed to dance with her in the moonlight. She wasn't a careless girl, being so flamboyant at night. Her necklace was for protection; both silver for rumored werewolves and a crucifix for vampires. Her ex-boyfriend, a warlock, had given it to her. At the time, he'd said he'd also warded it against demons and other magics, but she doubted he was telling the truth. The only way she even believed half of his mumbo-jumbo was because he'd shown her some magic. Even if there weren't really any vampires or werewolves (though she was pretty sure she'd seen a vampire before,) it was still a pretty and expensive charm.

Dawn licked the blood from her lips and wiped the rest away with a swift motion of her hand. Her blue eyes moved to the two dead bodies of the children on the floor and she guessed it'd be best to leave before someone saw her and assumed she'd killed them. Her fangs shrunk to slight long teeth her her mouth and for the most park, she looked human. Dawn walked away from the bodies and out of the park, walking up onto the sidewalk and back toward the heart of the city. She could feel the presence of two vampires getting strong as she walked, she was probably the one moving toward them. Her shoulder brushed against a hyper-looking girl, her eyes flashing red for a moment because of the crucifix, but Dawn didn't notice and just continued forward.

Katie, a 21 year old woman, was hurrying home, knowing it wasn't safe at night. She held the leash of her German Shepard, Vivi, tightly in her grit as it was wrapped around her fist. She brushed some of her long brown hair out of her amber eyes. In her pocket was a small silver necklace, with a cross hanging on the end. Her mother had given it to her before her passing, telling her about vampires, about her father. She had never met him, so when her mother started telling her that her father himself was a rare vampire, a vampire who was kind to humans and didn't kill, she thought her mother as going mad. But then not even a week later she had seen it. A man with a woman pinned to the wall with his mouth on her neck. She had thought it was just some couple, but then she saw the blood and the woman collapse. She had ran home with her abnormal speed, which was faster than an average human, though she thought at the time that she just had good muscles. She confronted her mother, wanting to know more. She learned that she could suck blood, but also live off food. Her blood tasted different to other vampires, but whether that was good or bad, she didn't know. She wasn't affected by silver or small crosses, but big crosses and garlic did affect her, which did explain her supposed "allergy" and why she wasn't allowed to go to church, and she could age, and was therefore most likely not immortal. Personally, she wished she had never found out, and was still living in peaceful ignorance, without having to glance over her shoulder all the time.

sorry I was at a college application meeting thing }} It didn't take Angelica long to make out the two limp children in the night. First, she screamed. She ran to them, checking their cold, pale necks for a pulse, but there was none to be found. She didn't even remember the girl she'd bumped into, but a strange suspicious crept through her. Who else had been around? Was she looking at the girl's face? She couldn't remember what she looked like, so it was no use. She brought out her phone to call 911. It was the least she could do even if she knew there was nothing that they could do for these poor children. --- There was a human around too. How great. Right when he was getting hungry again because of this other vampire tempting him. His stomach rumbled as he walked towards the woman, her dog in front of her. Unlike how he'd acted around the other vampire, he did look up into her eyes, quite fiercely too. Like a delinquent, he was challenging her. Stay away from me, and get out of my way, his face read. He was already dealing with the temptation of attacking her. He knew if he started again, he wouldn't just take a little. He'd take a lot.

Katie felt a shiver go down her spine as she saw a man glared at her. She could tell he was a vampire, her half vampire blood was screaming at her as if in warning. Vivi growled, snapping her out of it. She tugged back on the leash, pulling her back. "Down girl..." She mumbled, gripping the small silver cross in her pocket with her other hand. She started to pull Vivi away in an attempt to go around and escape this man's gaze. Sure, she was also strong like a vampire, but she didn't know it, as she had never needed to use her strength.

Of course his self-will would choose to fall apart when he needed it most. He turned, and he lunged at the woman. He wanted to say that it was like his body was moving on its own, but he knew that wasn't true in the slightest. No matter, he tried to shove her back, get her somewhat off-balance, and he kicked the dog for good measure. He didn't want it to try and attack him, keeping him longer from his… dessert. That's what he'd call her.

Katie gasped in surprise as he lunged at her, kicking her dog. She growled in anger and shoved back, her own vampire strength surging to the surface in response to her anger. She went and slapped him, and tried to hurry towards Vivi, wanting to grab her dog and run.

hey guys! and of course, forest! }} Max was surprised by her strength; she didn't seem buff or anything, so how she could be as strong as him? She was only a normal human, right...? Maybe he'd just attacked a witch or something by accident, but normally he at least got an odd sensation getting near some supernatural creature that wasn't a vampire. She wasn't setting off any red flags... Dismayed (and also slapped), he pouted. He wasn't sure how to react. Maybe she had some sort of "hiding spell" or he was just off his game. He frowned, but forced out, "Sorry. I thought you were human." It was short, curt, and hopefully would get her to tell him what sort of creature she was.

"The part where you jiggle an electron on one side of the universe and an invisible force traverses millions of light years and smacks another electron into wiggling instantaneously, which is about a million years faster than is technically possible without time travel!" Jackson ranted while scrambling down notes in a binder, he then turned towards Karina who was laying the the couch behind him, reading a textbook. "Karina you're supposed to be supposed to be helping me with my work!" He scolded.
Karina laughed, "I'm just amazed of how many times you said the word jiggle in what was supposed to be a scientific statement!" She joked. Jackson sighed and went back to his work.

"..." Katie wasn't sure how to react to a vampire apologizing to her. She figured it'd be best not to say he was half right. "Well just watch it next time." She mumbled in an annoyed tone. "And don't kick my dog either." She added as she checked that Vivi was alright. Helping her dog up, she gently pet her. She decided it would be best to leave before he asked more questions, so she turned to leave.

Dawn waked into the city and noticed a young lady and guy fighting - no, apologizing...? She could tell that the guy was a vampire, but she couldn't quite tell what the young lady was. It was similar to the feeling she got from a human, but it was different somehow. She shook her head, realizing she had stopped to watch and decided it would be better to avoid other vampires. She didn't really care if she was hunting in some one els' turf, she just didn't want anyone to give away that she was a vampire. Dawn turned in the other direction and walked away.

Jackson began to mumble on while writing stuff down. Karina groaned, "blah! Blah! Jackson lets go do something for once! You used to be fun!" She said.
"I'm not so sure.. " he said.
Karina got up and began to walk out the door, "well I'm going for a walk!" She waited for a response, but to no use. Karina huffed and closed the door.
Jackson heisted a bit, looking at his studies.
Karina walked outside, it was dark out. She walked to the front door of her own house, she hesitated a bit before rushing in quickly to grab a snmall satchel of her stuff in it, a sweatshirt, and a flashlight before quickly heading back out into the night, trying to avoid her father.

Dawn cast a sharp glance at the young lady who smiled at her. This girl seemed to have an irregular feeling like the other from before, though this one was somehow more like a vampire. Perhaps the two girls were witches or maybe werewolves? What they were, she didn't quite know. Her expression changed to more calm and curious slightly. "Better be careful. I heard rumors of vampires in the area lately."

Karina stifled a laugh, "vampires probably don't exist!" She said, trying to cover herself, "but, I would be careful if I were you. They might be closer than you think," she said with a gleam in her eyes, her tone quiet. Karina then walked to the nearest steps to put on a beat up sweatshirt. She then stood again, unjustified her bag, preparing to continue walking on. ha! she thought, telling me there's vampires around! She'd be surprised! she then went neck to retreating and untrackting her teeth, lost in thought again, though, she did seem a bit off herself.. I wonder. Karina cautiously gazed back at the woman passing her.
