Here we are! And here's the plot again for reference. Character A is a successful wildlife biologist, specializing in canine species. What no one knows is that he owes much of his success to his biggest secret: he's a werewolf. For much of his life, that little fact has been of no consequence. But recently, a group of supernaturals have created an organization with the goal of altering and enhancing a supernatural's gifts. And they've made Character A their next target. Character B is a normal human, one who never expected to be drawn into a game of cat and mouse with a bunch of supernatural beings. She certainly didn't expect to find an injured werewolf in her backyard. After their fateful meeting, Character A tries to escape and leave Character B out of his mess. But the group that's tracking him aren't about to leave witnesses alive. So, to save her life, Character B joins A in his race to get to the heart of the Organization and tear it apart — before it can do the same to him. My character: Dominic, "Nico" Fletcher--> 25 years old --> semi-long black hair, messy but somewhat stylish; dark eyes, with long, thick lashes; light, naturally tanned complexion, of Akaska Native and Hawaiian decent; 6'2; 180lbs; tall, lithe, and well-built, with a natural grace to his movements; various small scars on his arms, legs, and torso, most of which are usually hidden by his clothes; wears well-worn jeans and a pair of old hiking boots or sturdy Nikes, paired with t-shirts of various styles; sometimes has a black leather jacket overtop, and aviator shades --> as a wolf, he is tall and large, with thick black fur and the same piercing dark eyes; he is about 3'2 at the shoulder, and weighs close to 170 pounds --> an animal lover and big activist, though oddly enough, not vegetarian . has a degree in biology and animal sciences . travels the world studying wolves and other canines in the wild

Nova Beaufort —> 21 Years old —> The most noticeable about Nova is her eyes: they seem to change color based on the light, appearing to be a pale, icy blue at times, but then other times they are a startling silver that almost seems to glow. Her skin is tanned and freckled from spending most of her life outside, and she has natural pale blonde hair that falls in choppy layers to her mid back, with a few feathers and tiny braids tucked in here and there. She stands at about average height, being 5’6”, and she has a trim, athletic build from years of rock climbing and hiking with her father. She typically wears leggings, fitted tank tops with flannels, and hiking boots, and usually has her hair pulled back into a high ponytail, Though a few loose strands always frame her soft facial features. She was homeschooled as a kid, because her dad loved to travel, and always took her with him on their adventures. He taught her how to free climb, follow animal tracks, and even hunt—though that’s one skill she has never put to use. Her father passed away a year ago, and so Nova decided to go visit his favorite climbing spot—and her life is changed forever.
(That’s alright?)

OOH I love all of those! She doesn’t know anything about her mother because her father didn’t ever talk about her so maybe she is a haling? She could even be kidnapped and they could trigger her abilities somehow? Or try to enhance them?

You’re fine!
And hmm...I was going to say half werewolf, but it could be kinda fun to have her be like half were-cougar or something? Since she loves climbing and isn’t afraid of heights?

(Also I realized I completely oofed up when reading these plots and for some reason combined them in my head which is why I mentioned the stuff about the hiking trip...you can ignore that lol. I can just say she lives a bit out in the middle of no where, and that’s where she finds him in her backyard)

On the anniversary of her father’s death, Nova hadn’t been able to fall asleep. Although to be fair, she hadn’t really given sleep a fair try, as she had only lied in bed for a few restless minutes before putting her warmer clothes back on, and grabbing her climbing shoes. She needed to get out of the house, and she had the irresistible urge to climb something. Was it the smartest idea to go climbing in the middle of the night when the only source of light was a waning half moon? No, probably not. And was it so cold one could hardly feel their fingers and other extremities? Indeed it was. But was that going to stop her? Hell no. Once she was outside, Nova’s eyes immediately adjusted to the darkness of the forest outside her little cabin she called home, and she took off on a light jog down the well worn path towards the small outcropping of rocks just a half mile away. But after only a minute or two, she stopped in her tracks. She heard a...whimpering? She couldn’t place the sound exactly. It sounded almost dog like, but it had an extra layer of depth to it that made her fear it might be some other kind of larger, more dangerous animal. Yet, Nova’s love for animals and her curiosity won out in the end, and she decided she needed to investigate. So she carefully followed the noise, and did her best to stay out of sight. But when she saw the creature, she couldn’t help the small gasp that escaped her mouth—nor the second one when it turned to look at her.

( Thanks, but no. My muse fluctuates with my moods, and my reading bug. In other words, when I want to read, I don't have a lot of interest in role-playing, and vice versa. But! Not to worry. I managed to finish my reply! :D )
Nico hadn't wanted to enter the city, hadn't even wanted to come anywhere near it. But someone had tipped the Organization off about his presence and that he was investigating things he shouldn't, and they'd come looking for him in force.
As soon as he sensed their presence, he cursed himself soundly. He'd been reckless coming so close to the city, but he'd also been downright stupid when he chose to don his wolf pelt. Now, if they caught him, they would have all the proof they needed to capture him.
Nico's only saving grace was that as a wolf, he was faster and stealthier than any human could hope to be. He managed to circle wide around the search party and get to the spot he'd stashed his clothes. But the enemy was too close for him to risk Changing. Thank god he'd had the foresight to bundle his clothes into an easy to carry bundle. He picked it up in her jaws, ignored the awkwardness of it — and the taste — and took off.
Originally, he hadn't planned on entering the city tonight, if at all. He certainly hadn't wanted to do so as a wolf. But now he had no choice. He had to get to the city, find somewhere hidden and safe to Change, and then he could disappear as a human into the depths of the city. If he was lucky, he may even be able to accomplish what he came here to do.
Luck quickly proved it wasn't on his side tonight. The moment Nico entered the small, dark clearing where the Organization had parked their vehicles he sensed danger. His hackles shot up and he had to choke down a growl. He went absolutely still, his eyes and ears the only part of him that moved as he tried to spot the threat. A moment later, he did.
But it was a heartbeat too late.
With trembling limbs, the lackey that had been left behind to guard the vehicles raised his firearm and got off a shot. Nico was already moving, but not quite fast enough.
Nico expected to feel a tranq dart lodge itself in his side. What he felt instead was a tearing pain as a bullet — an actual bullet — buried itself in his side. Nico let out an involuntary yelp, dropping his clothes.
That was when luck decided to have mercy. While Nico berated himself for letting his surprise and pain get the best of him, the lackey startled and dropped his gun. The sound of it hitting the ground brought Nico back to his senses. As the kid — for, Nico realized, that's what the gunman was, a kid of no more than fifteen or sixteen — hit the ground looking for his fallen weapon, Nico snatched up his clothes and took off.
As he ran, his side began burning. It hurt like hell, but he was pretty sure the wound wasn't fatal — unless he couldn't stop the bleeding.
Behind him he heard shouting, telling him the kid had informed the others of his whereabouts. Nico wasn't too worried yet; even injured, a wolf was more than twice as fast as a human, and he had a head start. Ditching them was easy enough, but he was losing a lot of blood, leaving a trail the search party would eventually realize they could follow to find him again. That meant the city was no longer an option. It was too brightly lit there, too easy to see the trail he left. So Nico had headed deeper into the forest instead, hoping he could find somewhere to Change.
Running through the forest as a wolf had its pros and cons. On the one hand, he could move fast and quiet, and keep his trail from being easily followed. But Nico wasn't familiar with this forest. He had no real idea where he was going, or if he would end up running out of forest before he was ready. His best bet was simply to stay ahead of the search party, gain enough distance to —
Nico stopped. Stopped moving, stopped thinking. The lack of thinking only lasted a second, but during that second his nose worked frantically to identify the scent he had just caught. After a moment, he relaxed a fraction. The scent was human, but female. As far as he knew, there hadn't been any women in the search party.
So who was out here with him?
Adopting more stealth, Nico crept off the path he was on and into the underbrush. He moved almost silently until a stray twig poked him in the side — right where the bullet was lodged. He let out a muffled yelp, which he quickly stifled with a low growl. He dropped his bundle of clothes and turned his head to snap at the twig that had lodged itself in his wound. As the quiet snap of the twig faded, Nico heard it: a soft footstep. Then another, and another.
Nico whirled. Standing not ten feet from him was a girl, the same one he'd scented just a few minutes ago. He stayed perfectly still, mind sifting frantically through his options: run, growl, wait. She would be expecting one of the first two, since "fight or flight" was pretty much the code all animals lived by.
And although Nico knew it was a bad idea to give this girl any clues about his human-like intelligence, he stayed where he was, his gaze locked on hers as he waited to see how she would react.

(Oh that makes sense! And wow what a great starter—sorry mine wasn’t longer!)
When the wolf turned to make eye contact with her, Nova froze in place. The creature was stunning, but in a terrifying way. With one look she knew that if he wanted to, this wolf could kill her with one bite. Finally, she shook herself out of her trance, and crouched down a bit in order to appear less threatening. “Easy boy...are you hurt?” She asked softly, noticing the glistening of blood on the poor creature’s side. That’s when she noticed what he was carrying. It looked like a bundle of some sort. The animal must have been rummaging through someone’s trash or campsite and taken off with the bundle. Which might have been how he got shot. She carefully took another step towards him, and slowly reached out her hand to let him sniff it. “Hey there...don’t worry, I’m not going to hurt you. I just want to help.”

( Aye. I have ying/yang kittens, one black, one white. It's definitely cool. ;) )
Nico was so startled by her movement, careful as it was, that he nearly bolted. That only irritated him, for that was the reaction of a wild animal, not a human. He may have been wearing a wolf's pelt, but he was still him.
But this woman didn't know that; all she saw was a wolf. So why was she treating him like a dog? Nico knew some Werewolves could pass for big mangy dogs in their wolf pelts, but Nico couldn't. He was very clearly a wolf, large and graceful and predatory. Only an idiot would mistake him for a dog. He wasn't sure if he should be impressed with this girl, or insulted.
When she offered her hand, Nico chose insulted. She was definitely treating him like a dog. Why? Did she think that would make him less likely to bite? Nico would never bite anyone, but he wasn't against threatening. With a low rumbling growl, he curled his lip, baring his canines. He didn't move an inch, toward or away, but his threat was clear. Hopefully she wouldn't realize it was an empty one.

(Aw what are their names?) Hearing his growl, Nova narrowed her eyes and retracted her hand but didn’t back down. “Fine. You want your space, and I can respect that. But you need help or you’re gonna bleed out,” she murmured to herself, before shaking her head. “Here I am trying to reason with you as if you understand me,” she said with a small laugh. Clearly this wolf wasn’t about to let her touch him, but she couldn’t in good conscious leave him here to die. So she decided to take a few steps back and sat down on a fallen log and just studied the animal, thinking that if she showed him she wasn’t a threat, he might get more comfortable with her presence.
