[ I ended up falling asleep before I could post them sorry! Also just a heads up: I leave for the beach Wednesday and I don't think I'm taking my laptop with me, soooo posts will be slow/shorter up until I get back Sunday/Monday since I'll be on my phone and I don't know how often I'll have time to check back here ]
Bash watched Lucifer go with a lump forming in his throat, already regretting whatever he had just agreed to do. Letting out a sigh the Sloth Sin finished off his coffee with one more gulp and began making his way back downstairs. Might as well start packing now. Once he arrived back at his apartment Bash started looking for his old duffle bag but soon got bored and instead decided to plop down on the couch and watch some good ol' Game of Thrones. Eventually Wednesday arrived, and Bash was even less excited than he was the day Lucifer appeared on his doorstep. He stood in the entryway for a while, not in any hurry to meet up with his fellow sins. It was well after 12:30 at this point, but still the Sloth Sin took his time as if he was a tourist on their first trip to the city. Truthfully he could care less what the castle looked like, it was just another old building to him. New York was so full of history that, quite frankly, Bash found a bit bland.
--
Sutton couldn't help but feel a little uneasy as she stepped out of her cab, passing the driver a very generous tip through the window before he sped off down the road. Taking in a deep breath she turned to face their meeting place, taking in the sight of the grand building as she slowly made her way to its doors. They opened with a loud creak, causing the Virtue to wince a little from the loud noise and begin to attempt to close them behind her as quietly as possible. Sutton had a feeling she was one of the last Virtues to arrive, but when she had arrived in the city early Tuesday morning and saw so many homeless people begging for food she couldn't help herself. She had barely rested since her arrival and had spent her time helping those less fortunant rather than went sight seeing like she had originally planned. The Virtue had called a cab the moment she realized what time it was and had come straight to the castle from helping at a shelter on the other side of town, so she was a bit embarrassed for being so late but at least she had a good reason. Finally getting the old doors clothes she took a moment to catch her breath and calm her nerves, though it wasn't really helping.
"Well, well, well. You're a little late aren't you?"
Sutton's eyes grew wide as she turned to find the Sloth Sin only a few feet away, reclining lazily against the wall as he smiled in amusement. A Sin? What is he doing here?
"Sebastian." Taking in another breath she moved towards the young man though she knew it was pointless to try and hide the fact that he had startled her, the Sloth was all but laughing at her misery. "I have my reasons. Why are you here?"
"Bash, how many times do I have to tell you? Call me Bash, sweetheart. And same as you I assume. It seems our surpiriors have been working together behind our backs, a little sneaky don't you think?" When she didn't answer Bash offered her his arm, as if he was really some sort of gentleman. "Shall we? The others are waiting."
Something about the way he was enjoying this irked the girl, he was smiling too much for her liking. Shoving his arm away Sutton began to climb the steps before them in a failed attempt to block out Bash's laughing trailing behind her. The two were once friends a long, long time ago. Well, if you could call them that anyway. Bash had always enjoyed making her uncomfortable, it was so easy. He wasn't much of a flirt, but something about making Sutton blush uncontrolably - and albeit earn him a few bruises over the years - always brought him an uncontrolable amount of joy and tonight was no different.
Finally the two of them entered the grand room to find their companions waiting, Sutton's face as red as a tomato and Bash wearing an unusually joyful smile as they headed to their respecive sides.

Eclipse couldn't argue with her. He was normally very hard to get worked up, in any way, but the mystery surrounding their reason for being here, and the unexpected presence of the Sins, had set his skin crawling with unease. What kind of danger was threatening the world that would require not just the seven virtues, but the Sins as well?
It was an effort for him to concentrate on Ira's question, and Nexus's answer to it. If it were possible for a being who wasn't quite human to have ADHD, Eclipse was that being. He had been asked if he had it by humans before, ever since it was discovered as a real medical condition. At first, Eclipse had claimed he didn't - he just had loads of energy. But as the years passed, he couldn't help wondering occasionally if he had somehow developed it. Or maybe he had always been ADHD, and he just hadn't realized it.
He was grateful for the distraction provided by the two new arrivals: Charity and Sloth. Which brought the number of Virtues to five, and the Sins were at four. There were now more Virtues and Sins here than elsewhere. Eclipse hoped the rest hurried. He had a feeling Michael wouldn't show up to tell them what was going on until they were all present.

Date: Wed, June 12, 2019 Time: 12:00 hours (CDT) Location: Punta Cana Dominican Republic __________________________ Lucifer was silent for a long minute before he was able to formulate a response. "I can't just give you Hell," he said incredulously.
Wrath shrugged one shoulder and turned away. "Then I guess I can't join the 'family reunion.'"
"Why do you want Hell anyway?" Lucifer asked, still having trouble believing Wrath's request. "I thought, after being trapped there for centuries, you wouldn't want anything to do with it."
"Exactly." Wrath turned a stare filled with barely suppressed fury on Lucifer. "I was trapped. And deal or no deal, there is nothing stopping you or Michael from locking us in there again. Unless... I just happen to be the ruler of Hell. Then no one could cage me there again."
Lucifer couldn't deny that that was a good, solid reason for wanting to rule Hell. He would probably feel exactly the same if he'd been the one locked up. Wait. He had been trapped down there for a while. The difference was, he had been stuck on the throne down there; the Sins had been in cages, treated no better than the demons down there. And Lucifer's time down there had been short compared to the Sins' entrapment.
But as much as he sympathized, he as also wary. Wrath would be capable of much more than just keeping himself out of a cage if he became Hell's ruler. He would be able to cause all manner of chaos and mayhem on Earth as well, and that was why Lucifer couldn't just hand over Hell.
He sighed. "I can't just give you Hell," he said again. "But I can," he continued slowly, "make sure you never get locked up anywhere ever again."
Wrath met and held Lucifer's gaze, his expression completely unreadable. Lucifer stared back steadily. Finally, Wrath said, "I'm listening."

(Meanwhile in an alternate dimension Nexus is flying around nature and petting animals in the wild, and making sure all of them are healthy and safe, while the Sins don't cause too much trouble.)

Timarchus eyed Lust warily, crossing his arms over his chest as if that would protect him from her temptress ways. He had always found her entrancing but he was sure to keep her at an arms length, trusting her about as far as he could throw her. Listening to her, he couldn’t help but smile in amusement. Pride could always catch onto someone else’s tricks, with her’s being no different. He knew when someone wanted something.
“Enslaved?” He asked with a chuckle, glancing over at the nervous blonde. “Maybe if I wanted him to lose his mind immediately. I’ve learned I’m rather good at slowly driving him mad; it’s much more enjoyable that way. Don’t you like taking it nice and slow too, Lust? Makes everything far more pleasurable if it’s drawn out.”
His voice dripped with condescension as he lazily eyed the beautiful woman before turning to face the rest of the Sins. It was clear he held himself above the rest, smirking down at the others. The disappointment on his face was evident when he realized Wrath had not yet arrived; although he knew Ira must be pleased. Realizing he’d have to result to small talk with his inferiors until Wrath showed up, he plastered on a wide smile and said, “Tell me, how have you survived without me these past few decades.”

"Oh, I've been using lesser men. It's fun to do so, but you're so exhilarating. It's been way too long since I've seen you last. The only actually handsome man since last I saw you was Lucifer." Lust responded. She looked at Nexus and said, "Have you noticed he's kinda stupid, y'know, Humility? I'd have fun with him as a slave. He'd have to call you master and bow at your feet. Wouldn't it be more fun like that?" (Lust/Maudelynn sounds like someone who would enjoy something like that, being as sadistic as she is)

Timarchus laughed under his breath and eyed the woman warily. He knew this game too well, it’s how he used his powers to get what he wanted. Reading minds was an easy task, something someone as slow as Nexus could do, but utilizing it for ones own nefarious doing was something only those as clever as Pride could pull off. He considered peeking into Lust’s mind but held back a shiver at the thought of the last time he had glimpsed into such a chaotic place. Deciding against repeating such a traumatizing experience, he looked around and sighed.
“When is Wrath coming?” He asked allowed, eager to see the only like minded person he’d ever met. The two were a deadly pair. The last time the two met, they were on the verge of starting World War Three but Patience was quick to join Khrushchev’s side and convince him to strike a deal with JFK and ignore the pugnacious Castro. Pride and Wrath both had underestimated Ira, not expecting the peaceful protestors to corner the Russian and talk sense into him. While the loss had angered him greatly, he was amused with how she had smiled and acted the humble winner when she found the two men drowning their sorrows in a bar in Cuba. She had gone as far congratulating them for taking the time to put all the pieces together, building an army that could destroy the world eight times over but smiled proudly as she reminded them that all it took was some common sense to end years of work.

Date: Thursday, June 13, 2019 Time: 01:00 hours (EDT) Location: The Roof of Belvedere Castle New York City, NY ____________________________________ “Your Sins are late, brother.”
“No later than your Virtues,” Lucifer retorted pleasantly.
Both angels were on the roof, awaiting the arrival of the fourteen Virtues and Sins. Lucifer looked as he always did: human. Dressed in a pair of old black jeans with rips in one knee; combat boots; a dark grey Henley t-shirt; and his signature leather jacket. He was stretched out on his back along one of the Castle's balustrades. He had his arms tucked under his head, his legs crossed at the ankles (the one on top was bouncing slightly to a beat only he could hear), and his eyes were closed. He looked for all the world like he was relaxed and content; only an expert would be able to tell that he was anything but.
Michael, meanwhile, stood a few feet away in his full archangel glory. White tactical pants and shirt underneath gold-plated silver armour; a bandolier of knives across his chest; his heavenly blade, Shadowchaser, was strapped at his left hip; and his snow-white wings spread at half mast to either side of him. Each pristine feather was dipped in purest gold, and they ruffled slightly in the summer breeze. He was standing still, but his whole body seemed to hum with impatience and nervous energy.
Without opening his eyes, Lucifer said, “You need to chill out, bro. Your energy is all over the place, and if you're not careful, you're going to attract unwanted attention.”
Michael flexed his shoulders and took a deep breath, but otherwise didn't acknowledge Lucifer's advice. He did, however, respond. “You've been spending too much time among humans, brother. You sound more like a mortal than a heavenly being.”
Lucifer opened his eyes so he could look over at Michael as he put a hand to his heart. “What a kind thing to say. I am touched, brother. Absolutely touched.”
Michael frowned, completely missing the sarcasm. “It was not a compliment.”
Lucifer grinned and settled back again. “Was to me.”
Michael stared at him for a moment, blank faced. Then he shook his head and went right back to worrying. He even started pacing.
“It is an hour past midnight, and there are only six Virtues.”
Lucifer scoffed. “Only,” he repeated derisively.
Michael continued as if he hadn't heard. “They should all be here by now. And you!” He spun suddenly to face Lucifer, a hand raised as he waved it at the lazing angel. “Only five of your Sins are here. Where are Wrath and Gluttony, Lucifer?”
Lucifer heaved a sigh. “Wrath will be here when he feels like it. As for Gluttony…” There was a pause. “I don't really know. I couldn't find them.”
Michael was quiet, and for long enough that Lucifer opened his eyes and sat up. He swung himself so his feet were braced on the roof and leaned forward, elbows on his knees. “Michael,” he said, the warning in his voice unmistakable. “Human” Lucifer was gone; in his place was the Lucifer that was every bit the angel Michael was. “What aren’t you telling me?”
Michael held his silence a minute more before giving a sigh. “I did not hear a response from Diligence when I summoned the Virtues.”
Lucifer drummed his fingertips together, expression thoughtful. “Well that could be a problem.” Being unable to physically find one of the Sins - it was a big world, and they didn't all end up in the news all the time - was one thing. But Michael had a direct link to all the Virtues. If he couldn't find one of them, then something was definitely amiss. “Do you think it's possible the Ancients have gotten wind of our plan?”
Michael shook his head. “Of course not.” Then his expression darkened. “Not unless one of your Sins told them.”
Lucifer would have liked to deny that instantly, and he almost did too. But then Wrath's words sounded in his head: I want Hell. And everything that comes with it. And suddenly, he wasn't so sure.
Now it was Michael's turn to speak Lucifer's name with an unmistakable warning note.
Lucifer sighed and rubbed his forehead, where he was sure a headache was forming even though such things were supposed to be impossible for him. Maybe he had been spending too much time with humans. “I'm ninety-nine percent sure it wasn't any of my Sins,” he said at length. “However… there is a small possibility… that Wrath… is planning something… bad.” Lucifer quickly threw up his hands to ward off his brother's response. “But it may not have anything to do with the Ancients! I mean, it is Wrath. He's always planning something bad.”
Michael did not look reassured. “If what he's planning has anything to do with the Ancient Demons, Lucifer, then it is worse than bad. It could be catastrophic.”
