Lighting let out a yelp when the two cats pounced at her. "You aren't the only cat here and we know it! Our friends found yours!" The tom spat as he pinned her down. She struggled to launch him off but the other she-cat helped him pin her down. "Get off of me!" She spat, her eyes narrowed into slits. She hated being defenceless! She glared at them. "Go ahead, kill me! Its not like i can fight both of you flea-pelts!" She growled as she twisted in their grip. "Well maybe you shouldn't trespass with your friends!" The she-cat snarled.

Lighting moved her head to see the tom emerge. She couldn't help but let out a small purr of gratefulness. The two cats were distracted enough that Lightning managed to slip from beneath them and stand close beside the tom. She let out a shiver. "Ah, the rescuer." The rogue tom mocked as he walked forward. The female right behind him. Lightning flinched only a little, careful not to brush her fur in the toms. He didn't seem to like that last time. She let out a hiss as she lashed her tail. "Who do you think you are, telling us what we can and cant do!" The she-cat hissed, walking up beside the tom.

Olive crouched in the corner of the hollow throughout the fight, hating herself for her uselessness as Hail and the ginger tom battled against the loners. She couldn't see the brown tom anymore, and she vaguely wondered whether the fighting had carried him further into the forest or if he'd left, unwilling to be dragged into any more trouble. This is all my fault, she thought miserably, watching as the ginger's tom wound was sliced open. She barely registered Hail's meow when the loner asked if she was alright-- a sickening feeling was clutching her gut like a dog with its teeth in a chew toy. She'd never seen such brutal fighting; the whole hollow seemed drenched in blood and stray tufts of fur, the air was filled with yowling, and the glint of claws and fangs was more than she could bear. I have to get out of here! I'm sorry! Checking to make sure no cat was watching, the kittypet began skirting the edge of the hollow. As soon as she rounded the side where the brown tom had distracted the dog-- had it really been mere hours since then?-- she darted back towards Twolegplace. They'll notice I'm gone as soon as the battle's over. Guilt seared her pelt at the thought of abandoning the cats who'd protected her, and she felt even more nauseated than before. It's for the best! They'll be safer without me around. Smoky won't mind me hiding in his garden until I decide what to do.

As Hail doubled back leaving the ginger tom to fight the other as she ran to Lightning, pausing she smiled, "You okay? Where's the kittypet?" she asked as she panted. Looking around she became concerned, what if they took her?

J A D E she-cat - 24 moons - loner A lithe tabby she-cat padded between the trees, ears pricked. The sound of pawsteps followed by a conversation of agitated meows caught her attention. The sounds were ahead and upwind of her, meaning the other felines would scent her in a few moment. Jade stiffened, her fur standing on end. She hastily scampered up the nearest tree trunk, claws scrabbling against the bark.
J I G S A W tom - 32 moons - kittypet Jigsaw sat on his usual place, one of many fence posts that separated his twolegs' backyard from the woods. A breeze ruffled his long tortoiseshell coat as he eyed the trees curiously. He thought he could smell a cat -or cats- but the kittypet could barely differentiate the scents.

Hawkeyes258 some of the characters wont be active so i will time skip and you can jump in, as many cats as youd like. I am looking for a possible mate too!)) Lightning sighed as she walked through the forest, on the edge of the twolegplace. She had wandered here for the last moon, her paw almost better now. The torn got infected before she could get it out but it has improved over the last little while She wondered where the other cats had went, that was the most eventful thing she had gone through in a while, she thought about it once in a while when she wasn't hunting or training. After that she decided training would be a good idea encase she needed to defend herself. She glanced up, the sun was reaching its peak as she walked along the bottom of the twoleg fence. She wasn't sure what made her stay closer to the nice part of the twolegplace. She had always lived in the darker part of it where it was loud and busy. She purred when the scent of rabbit hit her muzzle. Its about time I found one! She began trying to trace it, the grass was up to her underbelly, the forest only tree lengths away from the twoleg fence, she liked the grass strip that separated them.

Olive's whiskers twitched in amusement at Smoky's clumsy leap; he'd missed the robin by a whisker-length, and now the bird was winging away from their garden in a twittering panic. "Nice try!" Her brother rolled his eyes. "Not every cat's as good at hunting birds as you." The gray kittypet's eyes glittered mischievously. "Except, maybe, your brave wild cats." The tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat shoved him roughly. "Oh, shut up," she laughed. She was careful to keep the guilt and pain from her mew. It's been a moon, but I still can't get them out of my head... Olive had made it safely back to Twolegplace, and she'd been adopted by her brother's Twolegs after hanging around the garden for a quarter-moon. She was grateful for the home, of course, and Smoky's housefolk were kind, but thoughts of Lightning, Hail, and Flare still clouded her mind and haunted her dreams. "You coming inside?" Smoky asked. She pretended not to hear, instead leaping onto the fence and staring off in the direction of the woodlands. I wonder what they're up too now. I hope their safe.

Lighting growled in frustration when the mewling of cats scared the rabbit that was a fox length away, causing it to dart to its burrow quickly. She rolled her eyes and shook out her pelt. She faintly recognized one of the voices, but she chose to ignore it. When she looked up she saw a kittypet sitting on the fence a few tree lengths away, she was only able to make out the shape of the cat. She couldnt help but cheer up a little as she thought of the annoying clumsy kitty-pet that got her into that situation in the first place. She shook her head and continued to look around. she was a little hungry now and wanted to find some prey.

Olive blinked as she caught sight of a cat slinking along the fence-line. She squinted against the harsh sunlight, only managing to ascertain its shape and dark pelt color. Better get down and keep still... It could be one of that band of loners. They haven't come back to scare Smoky since I moved in, but you never know. She dropped into the garden, disturbing a crow that cawed irritably before taking wing. Great. So much for staying quiet.

Lighting spun her head to see the kittypet no longer on the fence. "Great." She growled. She hoped it wasn't one of those kittypets that were aggressive. She crouched low, stalking toward it. She hated being threatened by kittypets. It made her seem weak, she was in a good mood but not good enough to have a kittypet stalk her. She flattened her ears, her claws now unsheathed.

Maverick eyed a bird that was up in the trees. He flicked his tail back and forth wondering if he should try and get the bird or not. Last thing, he wanted was to fall and injure himself. Maverick lingered on the ground for a moment before carefully climbing up the branch of the tree.
Foster wandered around not having a clear destination in mind. He was simply bored and was looking for something or do. Mainly, he was looking for trouble. He scented the air for any sign of cats near by.

Olive's heart raced as she heard the click of claws against the sidewalk on the other side of the fence. They're right on top of me! She scented the air anxiously, and she was doubly surprised: first, she noticed that she could detect two unfamiliar toms in the area, and second, she realized the immediate smell curling about her senses was familiar. It's the black she-cat from the forest! Pelt bushed out in excitement, Olive scrambled up the fence and stared down at the loner. "It's you!"

Lighting paused when she scented other cats close by. Her eyes off where the kittypet was she jumped back in surprise when Olive jumped at her, she seemed excited. What are the chances? Lightning huffed at the thought. She lowered her head, "How have you been?" She asked curiously. She was a little distracted by the stronger scents of the other tom cats around. What if they are aggressive? She felt her claws unsheathe once more.
