Camp Half-Blood is a Greek demigod training facility located on the Long Island Sound. The camp has magical borders reinforced by the Golden Fleece, and guarded by the dragon Peleus. The camp is the only safe place for half-bloods, many of them hunted by monsters out in the mortal world. The campers live in cabins based on who their godly parent is, and those who remain unclaimed stay in the Hermes cabin temporarily. They eat all of their meals at the dinig pavillion, there's an archery field, a sword fighting arena, a climbing wall with lava for training, an ampitheater, stables for pegasai, an armory, and the Big House. The Camp's cover name is Delphi Strawberry Service, a reference to the Oracle of Delphie.
• The Big House is a large, sky-blue house which serves as the main administrative building. Mr. D, Chiron, and the Oracle meet with the cabin counselors there. The house also serves as the capm's infirmary. There are four floors including a basement and an attic; it's home to Chiron, the Gods, and the Oracle. • The Dining Pavilion is an area of Camp Half-Blood where the demigods, satyrs, and camp directors eat their meals. The pavilion is framed in Greek columns on a hill that overlooks the sea. There are no walls or roof that cover the mess hall. Torches blaze from the columns and a central fire burning inside a bronze brazier the size of a bathtub. Each table has a white cloth with purple trim. The pavilion's goblets are enchanted, and, on voice command, will be filled with whatever drink you desire (non-alcoholic, except Mr. D who is forced to drink Diet Coke). Another quality of the goblets is that they never empty. The type of food in the Pavilion include BBQ, grapes, apples, strawberries, cheese, and fresh bread, that the wood nymphs serve. The tables in the Pavilion are arranged so that there is a table for each god, similar to the cabins. Therefore, children of Hermes sit at the Hermes table, children of Aphrodite at the Aphrodite table, etc. Although children of the Big Three often have to sit on their own anyways, it is expressly forbidden to sit at another god's table. Hunters sit at the Artemis table, and the satyrs and nymphs can sit at any table they please, but generally sit at the table that Dionysus sits at, which is table 12. Every night the half-bloods tribute a portion of their food to the gods by burning it in the pavilion fire, the gods like the smell of the burnt food. • The Camp Half-Blood Forest is a forest surrounding Camp Half-Blood. It is full of monsters, and Capture the Flag is often played in it by the campers on Fridays. Chiron advises campers not to enter unless they are armed or with someone else. The woods of Camp Half-Blood are very elusive and secretive. Many creatures live in this forest including wood nymphs, tree nymphs, monsters, satyrs, and much more. It is a great place to explore, practice duelings and battling. A Labyrinth entrance used to be there, at Zeus' Fist. • Zeus' Fist is a pile of rocks in the forest of Camp Half-Blood shaped like a large fist. Ever since the Battle of the Labyrinth it has been considered cursed, because that is where Kampê was killed. • Camp Half-Blood has magical borders that cover the entire camp. The border acts as a shield from mortal eyes, making any mortal that looks upon it see nothing more than a strawberry field because of the Mist. The border also acts as a barrier from the weather; the Gods decide what the weather is like in camp, avoiding storms and high winds. The camp border's primary use however is to keep out intruders. As monsters are drawn to the smell of demigods, the magical borders were used to keep the camp safe from monsters. It is unknown how the border distinguishes between allies and enemies of the camp. For example, mechanical monsters like the Colchis Bulls were affected by the shielding properties of the border. Also, several Skeleton Warriors managed to get past the magical borders. However, the borders only prevent monsters from entering the camp and monsters can be summoned inside the borders. • The Oracle of Delphie is a speaker of the prophecies of Apollo.
• Chiron is the activities director at Camp Half-Blood. The son of Kronos, he is the centaur trainer of heroes • Thalia's Tree is the pine tree on the very tip of camp. Zeus created a barrier to protect lost demigods and keep Camp Half-Blood safe from monsters trying to kill them. • Peleus is the dragon that guards Thalia's pine tree and protects the Golden Fleece. He is snake-headed with copper scales and yellow eyes, intimidating to most but he intelligent enough to distinguish an ally from a foe. Peleus is a tame, domesticated dragon that is extremely loyal and very fond of the campers. He is fiercly dedicated to his duty, always around the Golden Fleece no matter what time of day it is. • The Golden Fleece is a magical artifact with powerful healing abilities. It currently resides at Camp Half-Blood on Thalia's Tree to help strengthen the magical borders. T h e C a b i n s #1 Zeus Cabin • The Zeus Cabin appears as sort of a marble mausoleum with heavy columns out front, its bronze double doors polished in a way to provide a holographic effect of lightning bolts passing across. Inside the dome-shaped ceilnig is decorated with moving mosaics of a cloudy sky and thunder bolts. A statue of Zeus wearing a traditional Greek chiton stands in the center of the room, the walls adorned with alcoves and golden eagle statues resting inside them. The few beds and bits of furniture are scattered about the room, most of them pushed along the walls. The Head Counselor is __(taken)__.#2 Hera Cabin • Hera's cabin is a marble, formal-looking building with slim columns decorated with garlands of pomegranates and flowers. It is similar to Zeus's, only smaller and more graceful with peacocks carved along the walls and doors. Inside stands a large statue of Hera with a fire pit at its feet, similar to a temple. There is no furniture due to Hera having no children.#3 Poseidon Cabin • Poseidon's cabin is a long, low building with windows facing the sea. It's made from rough sea stone, pieces of coral and seashell embedded inyo the outer walls, and a trident with a big bronze number three over the door. It's said that there is always a sea breeze blowing throughout the cabin, and the whole building carries the scent of seawater. The interior has walls made of abalone. There are six neat bunk beds with silk sheets and a salt water fountain that was made out of gray sea rock, had a fish that spouts the water from its mouth, and had a coral decoration. The bottom was filled with golden drachmas for Iris message, although it is unknown if the coins will ever run out. Scattered about the cabin are a bunch of unknown underwater plants and corals, most of them sitting in the windowsills. The Head Counselor is _____. #4 Demeter Cabin • Demeter's cabin is covered in flowers, the roof constructed of growing grass and has tomato vines growing along the outer walls. The cabin itself is a light shade of brown, and inside there is a grassy floor and an oak tree in the center that holds up the ceiling. The Head Counselor is _____.#5 Ares Cabin • The cabin appears as an ordinary grey stone building with barbed wire lining the roof. A stuffed boar's head sits on the door, seeming to stare at whoever is walking by. The Head Counselor is _____. #6 Athena Cabin • Looks similar to a grey stone temple with an owl carving on the door and plain white curtains. Inside there is a workshop and a library housings thousands of books and scrolls alike, along with tables and chairs set up for its residents to study. The workshop is filled with materials to build things, there are even blueprints and old war maps hanging along the walls. Nearly all of the beds are pushed up along the walls, designed as if sleeping didn't matter as much as doing research. There is what looks to be a big metal gardening shed off to the side, but it's actually their amory holding many of the camp's magical weapons. The Head Counselor is Annabelle Hampton.#7 Apollo Cabin • Apollo's cabin is made of solid gold and it was designed to glow during the day, though it's hard to tell if the gold is reflecting light or generating it. he interior has bunk beds on either side with a cot in the middle of the cabin for the injured. Rough cedar beams that rib the ceiling and the white plaster walls are bare except for a few hooks for coats and weapons. It smells of clean linen and dried sage. The cabin is described as modest by Apollo, the only decorations are some flowerpots on the windowsill, filled with cheerful yellow blooms from the island of Delos. The Head Counselor is __(claimed)__.#8 Artemis Cabin • Artemis' cabin is an all silver building with silver curtains, similar to the outfit of the Hunters. It also glows silver during night time as if reflecting the moon, but looks like a normal cabin in the day. It is decorated with paintings and carvings of wild animals, mostly the stag. Because Artemis does not have children of her own the cabin is honorary, however it is used by the Hunters, the adopted children of Artemis when they visit camp.#9 Hephaestus Cabin • Hephaestus' cabin looks like a small factory, with brick walls and smokestacks like the forges and lots of gears around the entrance. The interior has folded steel bunks against the walls that were once described to be like "high-tech Murphy beds". Each bed has a digital control panel, blinking LED lights, glowing gems, and interlocking gears. It has shiny metal walls and metal slated doors. It is noted for being unclean and messy, filled with junk most of the time. A fire pole comes down from the second floor. A circular staircase leads down into some kind of basement. The walls are lined with every kind of power tool imaginable, and a huge assortment of weaponry. A workbench overflows with scrap metal, screws, bolts, washers, nails, rivets, and a million other machine parts. There is also a tunnel underneath, though it's mostly unused now. The Head Counselor is _____.#10 Aphrodite Cabin • Aphrodite's cabin is a wooden cabin with a painted blue roof, pillars, checkerboard deck with steps, and gray walls. It also has a pink door and potted carnations by the window. It also smells heavily of designer perfume. The interior has pink walls with white window trim; there is also lace curtains that are pastel blue and green which match the sheets and feather comforters on all the beds. The guys have one row of bunks separated by a curtain, but their section of the cabin is just as neat and orderly as the girls'. The cabin is always clean except for under the beds, which have chocolate wrappers, love notes, and other things under them. Every camper has a wooden camp chest at the foot of their bunk with their name painted on it. The only other bit of individualism was how the campers had decorated their private bunk spaces, each having different photos taked up along their part of the walls. The Head Counselor is _____.#11 Hermes Cabin • It is the oldest and the most worn-looking of the cabins due to its use as a home for all unclaimed demigods and Hermes' children. Its dull brown paint is chipped off (it really should be repainted) and there is a caduceus overhanging the door. Hermes' Cabin is the largest cabin and is normally packed at all times. Each camper has their own room, furnished with a small bed, a wooden chest, a desk, and a few shelves adorning the walls. The Head Counselor is _____.#12 Dionysus Cabin • The cabin's roof and walls are lined with grape vines, very minimal in design and decoration. There aren't many occupants, ts relatively small number of demigods possibly due to his strong dedication to his wife at Olympus. The Head Counselor is _____.#13 Hades Cabin • Hades' cabin is a windowless cabin made of solid obsidian, with heavy columns and torches that burn green like Greek fire twenty-four hours a day and has a skull over the door. The interior has beds that resemble coffins, with mahogany frames, brass railings, and bloodred velvet blankets and pillows. The Head Counselor is _____. T h e G o d s a n d G o d d e s s e sThe Greek Gods are a race of immortal higher beings who control the forces of nature and human endeavors. There are many other minor gods who serve smaller but necessary purposes in the world. Despite their immense power, they are subject to divine laws, and, in theory, can't break oaths sworn upon the River Styx. However, due to their immortal nature, breaking such oaths don't have severe consequences to them although it may have consequences on people they care about.

Olympus is to get past a security guard in the lobby and up a special elevator. Olympus is described as a paradise with golden buildings and happy people. Most gods live in Olympus, but a few others prefer to tend to their native kingdoms such as Poseidon and Hades. Having a seat of power in Olympus is of vital importance. Should the thrones be destroyed, Olympus would crumble and the power of the gods would be severly weakened, making them vulnerable to their enemies. Unlike the Titans and the gods, the Protogenoi are essentially sentient aspects of the universe itself, and therefore, they cannot truly be killed. Even the power of Kronos's scythe and other weapons of immense power is ultimately only able to disperse their physical forms. Protogenoi can also manifest in physical form as seen with Gaea, Ouranos, Tartarus and Nyx. They can be banished from manifesting in the world physically but their consciousness can never be destroyed. They have absolute and total control over a particular aspect of the entire universe which makes them immensely powerful and difficult to kill in their physical form. He is one of the Protogenoi, or "first born" - the first beings to have sprung from the void of Chaos. He was the husband of Gaea, and he fathered the Titans with her before being conquered by his son, Kronos and the other titans. For more information please check out the wikia page. • Nyx is the Greek primordial goddess of the night. She is the female personification of the night, and a daughter of Chaos. In her chariot, pulled by two dark horses, she carries the mantle of night, covering the world with her brother/consort's darkness. It is also said by some that she is the goddess of hellhounds. She lives in Tartarus in the Mansion of Night; she stays there only during the day and leaves during the night. For more information please check out the wikia page. • Chaos is the first primordial deity. Besides being a deity, Chaos is also a shapeless void below even the depths of Tartarus, the realm embodied by his son of the same name. Once one enters Chaos, he or she becomes nothing, dissolved by the void. From Chaos emerged the Protogenoi. For more information please check out the wikia page. • The Titans are the original immortals who ruled the universe after the Protogenoi, and before the rise of the Olympians. For more information please check out the wikia page. • Mount Orthys was the base of the Titans during the First Olympian War; it was assaulted by the Olympians, where Zeus used Kronos' scythe to cut him into a thousand pieces, and cast him into Tartarus. For more information please check out the wikia page.• Giants are humanoid monsters of great physical stature and strength. They're a class of oversized and often monstrous men who were closely related to the gods. The eldest giants were the Cyclopean and Hundred-Handed children of Gaea and Ouranos. Younger beings and races would also be born from the earth as well as the gods. Regardless of their heritage, giants are closely related to the immortals and some are even said to be the ancestors of mortals. Gaea made them rebel after the Titans lost the war but they were imprisoned in Tartarus. For more information please check out the wikia page. • Centaurs have the torso and head of a man, and body of a horse. They also are great healers. • A cyclops is a one-eyed giant. They are very big, strong, and are considered to be ugly by most people. A majority of the Cyclops are children of Poseidon; they have superhuman hearing and can mimic any voice perfectly. • Satyrs are creatures with the upper body of a man and the lower body of a goat complete with having goat legs, hooves, horns, and pointed ears. They work for Camp Half-Blood as Searchers, those who go out into the world in search of demigods. They're mainly responsible for the plants and animals within their own domains., and they are closely associated with nature gods like Poseidon, Demeter, Dionysus, and Artemis. They dwell in mountains and groves, by springs and rivers, in trees, valleys, or in cool grottoes. There are a lot of different nymphs and each of the many subspecies has its own name depending on what they preside over. For example: Naiads preside over sources of fresh water, with the Limnatides specifically governing lakes, the Krenaeae governing wells and fountains. They're often chased by love sick gods or satyrs for their beauty. • Types of Nymphs (for more information on each one please check out the wikia page) - Water Nymphs - - Naiads, Nereids, Oceanids - Wind Nymphs - - Aurae/Aurai, Nebulae, Asteriae, Harpies, Venti - Land Nymphs - - Oreads, Alseides, Napaeae - Wood Nymphs - - Dryads, Anthousai - Hesperides - - Nymphs of Sunset - Maenads - - Followers of Dionysus - Epimelliads - - Sheep Nymphs• Nectar is a drink of the gods. It's used as a healing drink when demigods are injured, but if they have too much of it they're in danger of being incinerated.• Ambrosia is a healing food used in emergencies when demigods are seriously hurt. It will cure almost any injury, although too much can make a demigod feverish and kills mortals. • Magical Metals, also called Blessed Metals, are metals that can be used by demigods and immortals to fight against monsters and other evil creatures, as well as gods and other demigods. Demigods use weapons made of these metals because they're the only metals by which a monster can be harmed. • Celestial Bronze is a powerful metal weilded by the Greek gods and their demigod children. The metal is deadly to creatures of the magical world, demigods included. It is able to disperse monsters into dust once a weapon made of celestial bronze passes through them, sending the monster to Tartarus. It's what the majority of demigod weapons are made out of and the metal itself emits a faint glow. • Stygian Iron is a magical metal capable of absorbing or destroying the essence of monsters, gods, titans, demigods, and giants. Unlike Celestial Bronze, it can harm both mortals and immortals alike; one large difference between the two is the way they kill monsters. Celestial Bronze destroyes the monster's physical form and their essence returns to Tartarus., but Stygian Iron is stated to actually absorb/destroy the monster's essence, which means a Stygian Iron weapon can prevent a monster from reforming. Since Stygian Iron is mined and forged in te Underworld only Hades and his children are the only ones capable of wielding it. Unlike Celestial Bronze, Stygian Iron weapons are indestructable. • Silver isn't regarded as a magical metal, but it is considered sacred to Artemis and is the only known weapon able to harm lycanthropes (werewolves).
