Felix, having seen all three as his family, charged forward unrelentlessly. He attacked Hagan, who he saw as his father, and then attacked Ania, who he saw as his mother. Yet the maid he thought he saw backed out of the fight early on, and he even thought he saw a sympathetic look as she started calling for them to stop fighting.
Fighting? He was giving them what they deserved!
Yet it went downhill fast, and he felt a slash across his chest, from glass his assumed, his ‘mother’ had attacked him. And with the next attack, which scored his neck, close to his throat, he realized with his pain that this wasn’t reality. And quickly. Like quicksand, everything made sense. He still saw things that weren’t there, but he saw Ania now instead, he saw Hagan now, who had seemed to come to, and he saw Kora too. He shook his head, dodging as hit from Ania as he charged forward, lashing out at Ania, but doing so in a non vital spot, and grabbed her wrist, his eyes wide. “Ania!” He yelped, “Snap out of it!” He added, and even though he hadn’t done so, because he still saw his house, he realized who they were. He dodged another attack, and grabbed er wrist harshly then, probably bruising it. He knew Kora was trying to stop them, but turned his head to tell her to stay back, yet he let go of Ania’s wrist as he did so.
“Kora! Stay back, she’s just scared!” He said, turning around just in time to meet another attack. He sloppily dodged it, and had a new cut lacing his upper right arm, and yelped out at the pain. It looked like a shard of glass was stabbed in, but he was unsure. Yet before he could recover, he felt something stab into his abdomen, and he fell to his knees. He looked up, and Ania’s image flashed between his own mother and the girl who he hated, but came to secretely befriend in his heart. He had no feelings for her, not in that way(That was reserved for someone else), but he came to know her as so gentle and sweet, something helpful in their group. He saw her as an easy target, and yet he looked up now, and he realized she was his killer, his end. And with that thought, he collapsed to the ground.
Coughing up some blood then, he looked at Kora, smirking through the scarlet liquid and pain, before lifting his hand to his mouth, and pressing a kiss to it, before blowing it off in her direction. “Win for me, love, Okay?” He asked, looking up at her before letting off the rest of his energy, and let the last fall of his breath carry him away.
A canon shot could be heard, not too far away.
