. Artemis Kollsvein . Rider of Juno the Stormcutter [ Butcher's Shop | -` percy ´- .✫ 🌊 's Ryker and Tempest Bolt ooc . It's alright Ross! I don't mind. Just reply whenever you're okay enough to do so <33 Hope you get better! ]
The woman crossed her beefy arms, casting a concerned glance Ryker’s way. She pitied the man and his reply, knowing full-well what improvement meant for him. Without it, he was stuck, similar to a writer with a lack of muse. As a result, she gave him a comforting gesture—physical, as it always is, in the form of a pat on the head.
“It’s alright, Ryks. I’m sure you’ll get into the groove of things later. Ya probably jus’ need time to think. Maybe even watch some dragons practice in the ring. I know I learned a lot observin’ Valka and Cloudjumper. It helped out my bond with Juno.” Artemis paused in thought, wondering who else owned a Skrill. Only one result came to mind, and the viking was quick to share the thought. “Azriel has Doubleshock. Perhaps the two of ya could trade some tips? If not right now, Juno and I could head to the skies with ya. After you get your meal of course. I dunno, we could maybe practice flying techniques and fire accuracy.” She smiled warmly, hoping the welcoming look would be inviting enough for him to accompany her, if words alone weren’t enough. Artemis was a very extroverted individual, differing greatly from the stoic and antisocial-ness that made up her dragon’s personality.
“Life’s been treatin’ me well, if I do say so myself. Not too shabby luckily. Juno and I have been practicing combat. Let’s just say we’re a force to be reckon with at this point.” Just then, the newbie from before came scuttling out from within the freezer—pale from the cold and trembling from the excursion of carrying a whole sheep corpse. He dropped it onto the counter, almost buckling from the relief of letting the animal go. Iomhar opened his mouth, but before he could utter a statement, he was cut off by his boisterous higher-up.
“How many pounds?” Artemis asked with a grin, drawing a knife out from under the butchered deer, then casted Ryker a questioning look in association to the query.
{x} With the typical unevenness renown to Stormcutters, she blinked, and hummed. It was a brief throaty trill, really, perhaps an acknowledging reply to the skill's move to take a seat beside her. Juno was like that sometimes, being on the more discreet, ambiguous side of things. Of course, when she meant an order, she meant it. There was nothing debatable about her demands; if she wanted something done by a select dragon, it was done. 'Tempest Bolt,' she greeted. Her frills gave a little quiver as her rider’s voice came back into play, followed by another, deeper one. Tempest Bolt's rider must've entered the scene. Predictable: just when she was about to get some peace and quiet. She hoped the skrill made himself out to be better behaved than the other two egomaniacs.
As a result, she quelled a small, irritated groan at the very mention of their names. 'They challenged us to hunting. I bested Zero and Luca, but of course he went back to the center of attention. Disdainful folk, really. They don't seem to comprehend modesty, or quietude.'

» Brynndis Estur « The Crusader Dragon - Daggerfang the Grim Gnasher With: Luca & Zero (𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 );Eyjolf & Orest (ᴀᴄʜʀᴏᴍᴀᴛɪᴄ ) Location: Outer Islands
______________________
Brynn led the way down toward the island, doing a quick lap around while she gazed down carefully at the island below. She made no effort to land, however, and after a while she urged Daggerfang on to the next island. "I'll probably do a quick walk around the next island, if you two want to tag along," she called back to her two companions. Her voice had taken on a more serious and authoritive tone now that she was delving into her work, her typically smile replaced with a calculating frown as her eyes darted over the ocean's surface in search of potential trouble. "It's a hotspot for poachers and pirates to come and hunt for dragon eggs and hatchlings, so if I see any sign of dragon of human on the island, I'll have to deal with it."
-x-
Daggerfang kept his senses alert for signs of trouble, knowing them were coming up on a well-trafficked island. "If we're lucky, we won't find anything," he added solemnly. More often than not, there was more carnage to discover than actual live eggs and hatchlings. It wasn't uncommon to find the remains of a battle on islands like these where a mother dragon had fought to her last moments to defend her nest and had sadly fallen short of victory. He knew that he himself had been rescued from such a situation, although the rest of his family hadn't recieved the luck that he had. "Keep your guard up, you never know what might be hiding on an island like this. Some of the people who come here are trained dragon killers." ______________________ (Sounds good 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 ᴀᴄʜʀᴏᴍᴀᴛɪᴄ! I can play the poacher if that's alright? I'll probably just tack them on to Brynn's layout since they'll probably be a one-off character haha. 𝕃𝕪𝕤𝕤𝕒 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 Eyjolf followed after Brynn and Daggerfang, keeping somewhat close to them as he observed the way Brynn handled her job. Both rider and dragon seemed completely serious and dedicated to their task. It was a virtue, Eyjolf thought, so he tried to follow Brynn’s example. “Aye aye, Captain!” he tittered in her direction, then tilted his head downward to scan the island beneath them with scrutinizing eyes.
Suddenly, the viking felt something whack the top of his head. It was Orest whipping him with his long prehensile tail, and Eyjolf knew that when he did that, it meant the Nadder was trying to get his attention. Orest shook his spiky cranium and pointed his nose down towards something on the island that Eyjolf’s human eyes wouldn’t have caught at first glance.
It appeared to be a human figure, and to Eyjolf it looked like they were crouched down over something. He couldn’t quite tell what exactly the person was doing. But given that he was told this island was a hotspot for poachers, the possibility couldn’t be ruled out, and they should naturally be suspicious.
“Hey, guys?” He called over the wind, and pointed in the same direction that Orest had. “I believe this island has an unwanted guest.”
***
Orest nodded at Daggerfang’s warning, heeding the other dragon’s advice. Of course, if anyone tried to attack them then they would quickly be gutted by the Nadder’s sharp porcupine-like spines. However, facing a trained dragon killer would require a bit more caution. He flew close to the Grim Gnasher, keeping an eye on the island below them. But it didn’t take long for his piercing eyes to discover some movement there.
He ungraciously slapped his rider’s head with his tail and directed his gaze down below as a warning. When Eyjolf caught on and began to tell the others, Orest left out an alerting chirp to his fellow dragons. “Is that one of those ‘dragon killers’ you were talking about?” he asked. Then he turned his head to look at Zero. “Since you’re so fast, why don’t you go down there before us and see what it is?”

Luca looked over and narrowed his eyes. The human shape was obviously rummaging around for something. A quick scan of the area told Luca that there were no dragons in the immediate area, but that didn't mean there weren't any eggs. He deduced from the earlier information that this was probably a poacher, and they were limited on time. No dragon stayed away from it's nest for long. If they couldn't stop the poacher, and were in the area when the dragon returned they'd end up on the menu "I can check it out and be back in thirty seconds." he offered, knowing Zero was fast and quiet enough.
"Roasting a poacher sounds like fun." Zero shot back, not picking up the sarcasm in the other dragons voice as he believed wholeheartedly that he was plenty fast enough to do something along those lines. Hell, his first reaction had been to do exactly that. Swoop down and take out the person before they realized what was happening.

______________________
Brynn narrowed her eyes as she looked down at the spot Eyjolf had referred her to, frowning deeply. "We should approach from the other side of the island, otherwise he might disappear into the woods and try to escape," she ordered, her personality taking on a new facet now that the situation had become more complicated. She was all business now, the gears turning in her mind as she formulated a plan to corner the man and recover whatever he'd stolen. "You two take the back of the island, I'll loop around and confront him directly once you're in position. Don't let him get away, not until we've figured out what he's up to."
-x-
Daggerfang snarled, showing a rare angry side as he, too, spotted the suspicious man. It definitely looked like the same situation he'd seen a dozen times before, and he wasn't keen on letting it happen this time. "We'll have to tread carefully. Brynn will let your riders know what to do, so go along with their movements. With luck, we'll be able to take this guy on easily." It was three against one, after all, and that's not even taking into account the three dragons on the team. He wouldn't get away.

» Reyna Holgata « The Traitor Dragon - Luna the Stormcutter Hybrid With: Katla & Pyrrhus (【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】 ) | Location: Berk
______________________
Reyna continued to keep her arms folded, honestly surprised Katla was still attempted to converse with her. "Hmm, I wonder..." she mused, mostly to herself. She spared a quick glance at Katla. She'd seemed so shy and almost afraid at first glance, but she seemed just as curious about the two Stormcutters as Reyna herself was, so she decided to brush this detail off for now. Speaking of Luna...
Reyna marched over to her dragon companion, pointing a single accusatory finger up at her as though she was about to scold her own child. "You! You abandoned me to be assaulted by that... weirdo! How could you do that to me? You know I hate being alone with strangers!" she exclaimed, frustrated and annoyed at Luna's odd behavior but moreso as her own inability to know what was going on in her own dragon's life behind her back. "And when were you going to tell me about this, huh?" she gestured emphatically to the obviously elated Pyrrhus. It was yet another mystery waiting to be solved, and Reyna hated not knowing what was happening.
-x-
"Nilakanta..." Luna tested the name on her tongue, a smile coming to her face. "It's a strong name, I like it." A cat-like purr rumbled from somewhere deep in her chest as she thought over the various name options she'd thought of since becoming suspicious of her own pregnancy. "You know, I always thought if I had a daughter someday, I'd name her Saphira. It's elegant, but powerful. You could even call her Saph, for short, if you wanted to." She chuckled softly at this.
She was cut off abruptly by Reyna, who had finally found the time to be angry now that Maeve had left with her samples. She recoiled slightly as Reyna began to scold her, though this wasn't necessarily an uncommon occurance for the fiesty blonde. "I think I'm in trouble," she whispered to Pyrrhus, though she didn't look very concerned.
As Reyna turned her back on Luna with an annoyed huff, the Stormcutter hybrid leaned her head down and nudged her rider's back, knowing that all would be forgiven soon despite the offended glare Reyna threw her way.

Azriel looked over his shoulder and flashes a smile. "Hey Ismene, what do you need? I probably have it in stop, unless you need a brand new weapon, I'm out of metal so I'll be heading to pick some up soon. But never mind that what do you need?" He asked as he wiped his hands clean. "Doubleshock, stop that!" Azriel said as he threw he cloth at is dragon's face. He shook his head. "Sorry about him he normally doesn't do that." 𝕃𝕪𝕤𝕤𝕒 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 Eyjolf nodded in Brynn’s direction, his brow furrowing from the seriousness of the situation. “Will do,” he called, before urging Orest to veer away and start flying around the island’s circumference. Then he looked over at Luca. “Still think you could dive down there and check it out without getting caught?” he asked him. Luca’s Nightfury was fast and silent, which would be perfect for a stealthy scouting mission. Maybe Luca could get a closer look at this supposed poacher before they decided to confront them. The only problem with that, however, was the fact that Zero’s coloring stood out starkly in broad daylight. As a precaution, Eyjolf reached to the strap on his back and took out his crossbow, picking out a bolt from his pack with precise fingers before loading it onto the notch. He couldn’t remember the last time he had to use his crossbow on another human. If they were lucky he wouldn’t have to, though perhaps a small part of him hoped he would.
***
Orest rolled his eyes at Zero’s apparent obliviousness. Well, it wasn’t like this was the time for quips and snide remarks. This was an important mission, if Daggerfang’s reaction told him anything. “Fine,” he sighed nonchalantly in the Grim Gnasher’s direction, before veering away to fly towards the back of the island. He’d have to go along with whatever his rider told him for now. Maybe he’d get to actually fight if it came down to it. The thought brought a fanged grin to the Nadder’s face.

Astera Fyrason - Rider of Celestial Solstice the Woolly Howl | Black Heart Bay | ᔕɿɱƿՆעᗰעς੮ע's Ragnol Ulfketil & Dust Devil |
The curly-haired femme felt her insecurities begin to mist away. She just needed reassurance, and for someone who she was in love with, to think so great of her, somewhat helped. Though she did believe it was only due to her being leader, Astera, nonetheless, still believed Ragnol. Feeling the grip tighten on her hand, she felt warmth spread through her pinkened cheeks. It was cold out by the bay, but with the sun beating down upon them, she still believed it was warm, and the warmth against her had made the breeze of the cold water disappear. To her companion's words, she let out a small chuckle. "Just less annoying." Her voice was mellow from the hurt in her heart, but she still managed to make herself lighten up. She was saddened by their fallout, and the fact that Ragnol had friends but preferred her, she was touched by his emotions, and she gently squeezed his hand in comfort.
She had felt him tense as she mentioned Kari, and though she was confused why, she had forgotten about his tension when she had flinched at the past nickname. Despite the voice being so sweet and soft, she hadn't heard that nickname in forever, and she wanted to go back to before her mother died, before she was selected as a candidate by the previous Wing leader and when she and Ragnol, and even Ismene were still all friends. That was long in the past and Astera had wanted desperately for their friendship to be mended. But to his confession of the decision of Kari over him, she felt a bit relieved. However, when she was first Wing leader, Astera and Ragnol were still close. But when time came for someone to be chosen, and she had made her decision publicly, Ragnol and her stopped talking. She knew it hurt him more than anything. The fallout of them had caused an awkwardness between once close friends and instead, Ragnol was more than willing to go back to the way things were. She sighed in content and cuddled up close to Ragnol in comfort, still holding in hand in worry that he'd leave.
With his out response to her outburst, she began to giggle at her old companion. He had twisted and turned his head to closely examined it from the surface of their world, but he still somehow didn't see her made of cloud. Her eyes were wide and bright, now that she was a bit happier and reassured they were still friends, with her free hand she pointed up to a random cloud without a true shape. "Oh c'mon Ragnol! It's right there. Do you not see it?" A smile exposed her pearly whites as she continued to play the innocent game. He didn't see what she had made up, but she had truly acted as if she did see it. Lifting her brow a bit sassily as she turned her cranium to him, she grumbled with a teasing tone that could easily be mistaken for a quite silly and angry reaction. "What do you see then?"
~ The fur-scaled beast hadn't been taken back by her friend's own sandpaper tongue back against her own cheek, however, she was still a bit surprised by how Dust Devil hadn't cared about her sudden affectionate state. If anything, Celestial Solstice had known her opposing friend hadn't been into love, but instead, believed in customs of just having a mate, giving birth, and living. Nothing the sort of having a true companion with you and having a seriousness involving a loved one. Only mating and giving birth, hunting, eating, and sleeping. Along with serving the purpose of being by her rider's side until death do them part. It hurt Celestial dearly, as all she wanted to do was have her beloved friend realize how much she was truly in love with her. Though it was un-dragon, in Dev's words when they had spoken of the topic, she had noticed the femme was greatly disgusted by it, especially of same sex, different species kind of "love". She only knew it was better to go off to one of the Woolly Howls of Berk, Ferir, but Celestial couldn't deny that she only felt attracted to him because of her dragon instinct. Being raised by Astera since a really young age had caused her to think more like a human, and the Selsa wanted nothing to do with dragon-tradition. She thought of herself with the mentality of a human, and she had knowledge like how Toothless and a smaller amount of some dragons had of humans and their emotions.
She knew mating season was rounding close and closer, and she didn't plan to mate this year. She didn't plan to mate any year, really. She was extremely dedicated to Dust Devil, even if it meant that she would never find another love or never be loved back. Although she had hoped to find love soon, it was the least of her worries, as she knew she had fallen hopelessly in love with a different species. Deep down, it pleased Celestial that Dev couldn't find any other males on the island and would have to go to another for a mate, but she would have to leave Ragnol in the process, that only made her happiness grow more, for Dev never left his side and never could. She let out a small smile and gently nuzzled against her sandy comrade, turning her attention to the teasing words. At that, she flinched. The wording was extremely odd and Celestial would rather check on the two, for it was their plan anyway. However, to Dev's silliness, she rolled her eyes. If anything, Dev was like a kitten while Celestial was more of a motherly cat. Their differences in personality could be sometimes switched, but it wasn't rare. With a small smile, she tapped Dev's nose back. "I suppose I could catch you something now." Pausing, she dropped to all fours playfully. "What would you prefer first?"

Katla Hexum - Rider of Pyrrhus the Stormcutter | Berk | 𝕃𝕪𝕤𝕤𝕒 's Reyna Holgata & Luna | MadFaith 's Eydis Arnulf & Spiritlight |
She let out a quiet giggle at this new femme's response to her companion leaving for Pyrrhus, itching at the back of her throat was an oncoming cough. To be completely honest, Reyna appeared more than welcome to be communicating with both girls. But just as the shy brunette had thought of such a thing, it was immediately proven incorrect with Reyna's comment in communication with her companion. Reyna proved she was much more secluded than she appeared, and instead, it made all that comfortability that Katla had began to form, disappear. Out of a bit of fear and shyness, Katla slowly and quietly scooted towards Eydis, the original girl who had made Katla feel way more than comfortable. She gently patted Spiritlight as he was left out of the two lovers and their conversation, or so it appeared. In fact, she felt bad for him, for the look in his eyes had made it evident he was a bit uncomfortable, if not, then a lot. Quietly she admired the hybrid with a smile, running her hand gently across his head. Her grooming the drake had ceased when her original companion's voice piped up. To her suggestion, Katla gave a quick nod, her pale orbs bright with . "Yes! W-We were just a-about to leave. Would you l-like to come?"
~ The male had puffed out his chest quite proudly. His lover had agreed with a name he had strongly liked, and he was grateful they always came to an agreement. Thinking over about her words, the more he repeated the future name, the more he believed it came off as strong. Something he truly liked, and although he wasn't attracted to power, for a strong name like his own, that translated to something in relation of fire, Pyrrhus didn't force the happiness in his chest away. In fact, he welcomed it. His son would hopefully be like him, and grow to become a fine dragon, he had hoped dearly. Katla liked to tell Pyrrhus it was a name she preferred to be translated as fire-bellied, but he knew it was less regal of so, but if he was, in Katla's eyes, fire-bellied, and his son was blue-throated, how could he not be proud of the similarity in naming? He let out a low grumble that was more of a purr, and he thought of a nickname for Nilakanta. Although the Nila- in his future son's name is pronounced a bit more feminine like, it could be Nila or Akan, as his nickname. For which, he suggested to his beloved, "His nickname would be either Nila or Akan, but I prefer Akan, since it brings out the strength in his full name." Pausing, he let out a chuckle. "Or Akanta, but I prefer Akan."
In regards to his future daughter's name suggestion, he nodded in approval. "That's a beautiful name, Luna. Saphira..." He let the name roll off his tongue, liking the way it sounded. "Saph, huh? I like it Luna. It's a beautiful name." The soon-to-be father had praised his mate's ideas, and never once had he doubted the idea of her becoming a mother. He knew she would be great. "Very in trouble." He mumbled back, realizing her rider had been quite angry with her. Although it was a moment somewhat ruined by Reyna, Pyrrhus didn't mind, and turned his head to the hybrid with a smile. He let out a purr and gently pawed at Spiritlight. "Thank you!" And with that, his loving attitude had disappeared, only exposed to Luna or Katla, and he let out a yawn in amusement. "Don't be all worried and awkward Spiritlight. I'm glad you even congratulated me. Most don't care when they hear news like this. Perhaps you could be an uncle to them." Pyrrhus jokingly purred out, but as he thought of uncle, his thoughts pondered to aunt, who he realized his sister, Juno, would have to hear of this soon. He didn't want to know her reaction, but knowing her, she would probably act tough and not care, but deep down be happy of the news. Hopefully. The smile on his face was gone as he stared at the floor in thought of his sister's reaction.

Ismene Orestdottir - Rider of Kolr the Tide Glider | Blacksmith's Shop | Nightfire 's Atlas Douglas, Azriel Thornburn, & Doubleshock |
The blonde femme grinned to the crafter's words. Beforehand she was just thinking about how immature and handsome this man can be, but yet, she still somehow managed to give herself the friendly smile she had always portrayed. It wasn't that she disliked Azriel. No, no, she really liked the Blacksmith. In fact, she was an occasional visitor and preferred to speak to him, rather than to her beloved Ragnol. They had been taking a break from seeing one another, she would like to tell herself, despite knowing the truth that he wasn't into her, but rather, her old companion. "No worries, Azzy. I've got the time!" Voice cheerful with confidence and patience, despite her own immature behavior, she was still an adult and sometimes acted like it. This time, was one of those times, especially for that she had something to do and someone to bother during the wait. She turned her cranium back towards her new companion, quite quickly, admiring his features as if she was thinking about what to say. Her childish grin had faded, yes, but Ismene was still in both, ponder about Atlas and how to respond to Azriel. "Ah, well," She started, gently tapping her muscular thighs, still thinking carefully. Azriel may've been a bit friendly and a bit silly, but she knew he was a little observant. Hopefully he didn't ask, but if so, she had an answer already planned. "This is Atlas Douglas. He's the one who need measurements."

I have Percy free! He's a thief.)
Luca nodded "Of course we could!" he looked around the area for a place they'd blend in better. It was unfortunate when it came to stealth missions that Zeros silver splashed scales stood out. For their usual tricks however it was great. He continued to look around until his eyes landed on a rock formation not too far from where the hunter stood. If they came up behind that and Luca poked his head over they'd probably be able to get away with it. Zero saw this as well and they decided then and there that they'd do it. Granted it wasn't what they'd been ordered to do, but with their speed and skill the likelihood of them getting caught was pretty low. It was even near the back, close enough to where they had been told to fly to.
Zero tucked his wings in and dipped down, staying high enough and in a position they'd not be seen. He opened his wings as soon as they got close and glided around a large tree until he could land silently on the ground behind the larger rock formation. Luca tapped his side, impressed, and jumped off the saddle to poke his head around the rocks.

(Maybe Percy steals something from Freja, and she and Sailsnap pursue him to Berk.)

【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】Azriel nodded as he looked at Atlas with a raised eye brow. "Alright then. I'll need you to sit so I can take some measurements. "You're a bit taller than most people are so I'll definitely need to add some extenders." Azzi said as he grabbed his measuring tape. Atlas walked over to a chair and sat down. He rolled up his leg reveling the stump. It wasn't a clean stump unlike many stumps. It was wide an narrowed down to bone at the very end of it Atlas looked at the leg. "That's a nasty scar you've got." He said as he kneeled in front of the man and started to measure. "How did you get it? Also right or left side dominate?" "Uhm, Right i think. I don't see why that is necessary information." Atlas said. "The dominate side of the body tends to be 3 cm longer than the non-dominate side." Atlas said as he took a few more measurements and stood up. "So how did you lose your leg?" "I...don't remember." Atlas responded. "Ah." I see." Azzi said as he started to gather parts.

(Maybe Percy steals something from Freja, and she and Sailsnap pursue him to Berk.) I don't think he'd run to Berk, maybe they can chase him to an island or something and they end up fighting or something? Also, what would you like him to steal?)
