(Maybe Percy steals something from Freja, and she and Sailsnap pursue him to Berk.) I don't think he'd run to Berk, maybe they can chase him to an island or something and they end up fighting or something? Also, what would you like him to steal?)(The map Freja had showcasing the locations around Dragon’s Edge.)

» Brynndis Estur « The Crusader Dragon - Daggerfang the Grim Gnasher With: Luca & Zero;Eyjolf & Orest | Location: Poacher's Island
______________________
Brynn kept her distance as Eyjolf and Luca began to circle the island, waiting until she saw them disappear into the trees before making her own descent. She kept low in her saddle, hoping her hide herself in case the poacher spotted her, though her saddle and accessories would give her away fairly quickly anyway. "Go quickly, 'Fang," she murmured to her partner, nudging his sides with her heels. At her request, he began to dive, wanting to catch the intruder off guard as much as possible.
The mysterious man kept one ear open as he rooted around in the ground near a large tree. He'd scouted this island ahead of time, and had watched a mother dragon make a nest here and bury the eggs she'd laid inside. He didn't have any idea what breed the eggs would hatch into, but it didn't really matter as long as they sold, he figured. He had his hands wrapped around the first egg when he heard a noise behind him, turning to see that there was a dragon headed straight for him. He panicked for a moment, afraid the mother was back to fight for her eggs, but then he spotted the rider on her back. A dragon rider! What a pain. He picked up the only egg he could manage to get his hands on and attempted to get back to his ship, but the dragon landed directly on it, rocking the wooden surface underneath and hissing in his face manacingly.
"Drop that egg!" Brynn commanded, advancing on the poacher with her broadsword unsheathed and held at the ready in case he decided to fight. The wind whipped her long braid out behind her, and with her typical smile and friendly face gone, the poacher was instead faced with a six foot, combat-ready viking woman unafraid to fight. It didn't come as much surprise to Brynn when the poacher turned and began to run into the woods; it was what she had expected. She whipped her head around, quickly calling, "Fang, watch the boat!" before turning and taking off after him.
-x-
Daggerfang was snarling by the time he landed on the island, prepared to tackle the thug to the ground for stealing an egg. He was well aware that a wild nest disturbed by human touch would be abandoned by the mother, who would desert her eggs to avoid attracting human attention to herself. As the poacher began to run, he crouched down on the man's boat, eyes narrowed and teeth bared in case anyone tried to approach him. The fact that he'd brought a boat meant he probably didn't ride dragons himself, so that meant his escape routes were cut off. "He's coming your way!" he called in hopes that the other dragons would hear his call and respond to it.

» Reyna Holgata « The Traitor Dragon - Luna the Stormcutter Hybrid With: Eydis & Spiritlight;Katla & Pyrrhus | Location: Berk
______________________
Reyna huffed as Luna seemed to almost brush off her words, though she supposed she couldn't blame her. It seemed Luna was more preoccupied with Pyrrhus, whatever that entailed. She took her partner's gentle nuzzle as an apology, letting her tense posture relax slightly. Her arms remained crossed, however, and her frown and furrowed brows showed she was still slightly put out. "Fine, I'll forgive you this time," she said begrudgingly.
Catching Katla's movement out of the corner of her eye, Reyna cast her a curious glance. She seemed to be almost retreating into her dragon's side; had she been too loud? Not sensitive enough? She groaned internally. Trying to be good and make friends with people was so hard, and Katla seemed to be especially sensitive. At the mention of taking a flight, however, she perked up a bit. It had been a while since she and Luna had flown together. "Hm, a flight does sound nice right now. Sure, why not?" she replied, calming down a bit after her rant was over and her emotions had been vented. "Only if Luna behaves, though." She said this almost like a mother scolds her child, but she reached up to pet Luna's shoulder as she did, so it would appear all was forgiven.
-x-
Luna nodded at the suggested nicknames, filing them away in her head for the future. "Akan, hm? Short and sweet," she replied approvingly. At Spiritlight't congratulations, she leaned her head down to peer at him around Pyrrhus. "Ah, thank you very much! It's sure to be an excited few months," she chuckled, offering the other dragon a smile in hopes of curbing his awkwardness.

My only issue with that is Luca trains a lot and honestly I don't think his gigantic ego could take two loses in one day.) We could always go for a good ol' tie and set up a rivalry for later in the story??)
"That sounds like a plan. You can start the count down whenever you are ready." Luca had Zero turn so he was facing the direction they would want to take off. There was a stretch of water they'd have to fly over, and that would be their chance to take the lead. Venbra was fast, but if had to avoid things on the water that they didn't it would let them pull ahead. Zero opened his wings and crouched, ready to take off at a moments notice. Shilo jumped onto Venbra's back, turning him toward the track that she'd just laid out. She lifted the hood over her head and attached the face covering so only her one visible teal eye could be seen. "Alright. 3...2...1...Go!" Shilo made sure that she didn't push Venbra forward until she said the word, not wanting even a millisecond of an unfair advantage. If they were going to win, it was going to be perfectly fair and square.
Shilo lowered her body down to create the least amount of drag as possible. She was already small, but creating a more aerodynamic body shape allowed Venbra to run even faster despite the extra weight on his back. And he did. Shilo was aware of Luca and Zero, but it was better not to focus on them, especially as the water came so close.
Venbra didn't break stride as he flew off the dock onto the water, his feet hitting against the surface with a slapping sound. He was turning around the rocks, heading back toward the docks when... the turn had slowed him down too much and they were starting to sink. "Come on, Ven. You can recover from this." Shilo called to her Speed Stinger. The problem was, he couldn't. They sunk further and further until they're heads were under.
Shilo pushed herself off of Venbra before they completely sunk, not wanting him to go under with her extra weight. "Get back to the dock. Go." Shilo was a strong swimmer, but a dragon scale coat was heavy. She was slow moving and her arms and legs were screaming after only a few minutes. Nonetheless, she kept going. She wasn't about to drown. She was too stubborn for that.
_________________________________________ ~Shilo Saga~ Location: In the sea, off the docks a bit Interactions: Luca (𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 ) Mentions: Zero ______________________________________________________________________ Venbra was off. He loved feeling the wind around him, he loved it more when he felt his scales heat up at the speed he was going. Of course, he didn't have enough time to build up that much speed before they got the docs, and onto the cooling water. He tried to keep a good speed, but rounding that stone pillar... he'd slowed down too much, and he knew it. He tried to pick his speed back up, but the water was starting to seep onto his feet, making them harder to lift. And then they were sinking. He felt Shilo leave his back and he wanted to grab her, panic starting to set in. Was she okay? He could hear her voice ordering him toward the docks and he kicked against the water. His arms may have been small, but his feet were wide and his legs strong. Venbra wasn't a great swimmer, but he had enough strength to get himself to the docks.
It took the duo a while, the race was definitely lost. But they managed to make it back to safety. Venbra pulled himself up, gripping the wood with his teeth and forcing his feet over the edge. It wasn't comfortable, but it worked. Shilo was still a while off, but she was clearly determined, despite the weight of the coat.

𝕃𝕪𝕤𝕤𝕒 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 After Luca and Zero zoomed ahead, Eyjolf and Orest made their own steady descent down to the island. Eyjolf had no intentions of actually landing, rather, he felt it best to stay a small distance in the air where he would have a wider range to look at things. It was better to have at least one person in the back making sure the plan was running smoothly. So that’s where he stayed for awhile, holding the crossbow leisurely in his arms while Orest flew in large, slow circles.
However, it wasn’t long before the shrill cry of a Grim Gnasher rang through the air, meaning that Brynn and Daggerfang must have confronted the poacher. Orest suddenly lifted his head up as though in response, and before Eyjolf could say anything, the Nadder was flying down by his own accord. “Wait!” Eyjolf hissed to his dragon, but Orest ignored him and landed roughly on the ground anyway, spiny tail bristling and lashing in anticipation for a fight. The viking simply sighed and leaped off of the saddle, holding his crossbow at the ready as soon as his feet hit the dirt. He could scold his dragon later for not listening to him, but for now what he needed to do was watch closely for signs of the poacher.

Percy was searching around the island. He had long since sold the items he'd found from the wreck, and now he needed something else. Percy was a bit like a dragon in the sense he liked having money to spare. As a thief it wasn't hard to get this for himself. If he got lucky he'd find someone to snatch something from. Eira yawned as she watched him look around, a small trail of smoke coming from her nose. She had been looking around for something from her higher position.
Zero growled and ran towards Luca. Luca nodded and ran up the rock, jumping off and landing on his back as his dragon sprinted through the trees. He'd seen it all go down, but had stayed to watch the back. There was some movement ahead and he assumed that Eyjolf and Orest had made their move. The pair burst from the trees and landed by the other pair. Zero was listening intently and growled as the poacher came into sight.

Freja waited with Sailsnap on her hut located on Dragon’s Edge. The young Viking had not seen Jagger or Wave for quite some time. Maybe they were on a long fishing trip of some kind. She opened the door on her hut to see the sun rising over the horizon in the distance. Sailsnap yawned, and let out a grouchy growl. “Oh, good morning, Sailsnap. Did you have a good night’s sleep?” She asked her dragon. The grapple grounder shrugged his broad shoulders in response. Sailsnap flew down to the ocean to try and catch something for their breakfast. Freja went back inside her hut and studied her map again. Nothing unordinary was present on it, which the Viking felt relief in. A few seconds later, she heard her dragon plop onto the deck with a colossal thud.

Brynn gave chase after the poacher, vaulting over fallen trees and crushing grass beneath her feet as she tore after him. "Quit running, you won't escape!" she called, narrowing her eyes as she kept her gaze trained on his back while he ran.
If the man heard Brynn's calls, he ignored them, holding the egg he'd taken close to his chest. It was then that Zero came into sight, causing the poacher to skid to a near halt. He seemed speechless caught face-to-face with a Night Fury, and it was in this moment of hesitation that Brynn was able to catch him around the waist, attempting to wrestle the egg from his grasp. "Hey! Let go of me, you savage!" he yelled, hitting her hard in the shin with the heel of his boot.
Brynn winced at the contact, feeling the sting of the contact spiderweb up her leg and down into her foot, but she stubbornly refused to let go.
-x-
Daggerfang kept his ears perked for signs of either the poacher or his rider coming back for him, his head lifting when he heard the telltale signs of a scuffle happening near the other end of the island. He shuffled back and forth on his clawed feet, knowing he should obey Brynn's orders and keep watch over the poacher's ship but really wanting to go see what was happening as well.
After a few moments of silent deliberation, he decided to do the latter, leaping off the boat and running toward the noises he was hearing.

Ismene Orestdottir - Rider of Kolr the Tide Glider | Blacksmith's Shop | Nightfire 's Atlas Douglas, Azriel Thornburn, & Doubleshock |
The femme relaxed down into a chair quite contently. She stared at Atlas curiously, with her icy optics wide as she continued to stare at Atlas with an unexplained emotion in her eyes. "Yeah, Azzi, I found him on shore. Says he doesn't remember anything." With a small huff, she looked over to the architect and his drake, who had earlier stared at Atlas with a burning hatred within his eyes. With a small pout, she looked back to the architect. "How's you and Ismene?" She knew well about Azriel's crush on the quiet girl, and she had only seen them talk a few times, but she knew they weren't entirely the closest. However, it was funny to see the man geek out about the quiet girl. He had a harsh temper while she was the complete opposite. It was ironic, really, and she was hoping to hear Azriel's silly rant about the girl once more.

𝕃𝕪𝕤𝕤𝕒 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 Eyjolf nodded to Luca when the two suddenly appeared. With the other two here, there was no way the poacher could escape. He scanned the area with narrowed eyes, which soon widened at the sight of the poacher. The man appeared to be carrying an egg in his arms, which wasn’t good if they planned on tackling the guy. The egg couldn’t afford to be damaged in any way.
Eyjolf quickly turned to glance at Orest beside him. “Don’t attack yet. I mean it.” he hissed to his dragon, hoping that the Nadder would actually listen this time. A spine shot from a Deadly Nadder’s tail would no doubt immobilize the poacher with its venom, but at a great risk of dropping the egg as well.
So instead, Eyjolf lifted his crossbow up to his shoulder and took careful aim at the poacher with perceptive eyes. He waited until the poacher came to a stop before Zero; and when he kicked Brynn, Eyjolf immediately fired a warning shot near his head, the bolt whizzing just passed his ear. “Put the egg down, now.” He threatened in an orotund voice.

Eydis Arnulf Rider of Spiritlight the Nightfury Hybrid [ 【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】 - Katla Hexum and Pyrrhus ] [ 𝕃𝕪𝕤𝕤𝕒 - Reyna Holgata & Luna ]
Eydis watched carefully as Katla almost seemed to retreat to her side, had the other dragon rider said something to scare her off? The knight paused and began thinking back through their conversation, attempting to scrounge up ideas of what Reyna had said to make Katla shrink back. She didn't get very far as her thoughts were interrupted by Reyna's agreement of joining them on a flight. Smiling brightly, Eydis reached into Spiritlight's saddlebag and drew out a rolled up map, it was a copy of Hiccup's, she had felt fortunate to have been given permission by the chief to draw one up for herself, and she knelt down on the ground splaying the parchment out before her. "I was thinking of going to these islands here," Eydis dragger her finger over the map, pointing out three small islands that lay at the edge of Berk's territory. "It would be nothing special, just mostly a fly by, but we could land if we saw anything out of place." She glanced up from the map casting a quick glance at the other two riders, wondering if either would offer up a different idea as her own plan was not entirely set in stone. "Does that sound alright?"
{&}At the mention of being an uncle, Spiritlight's belly seemed to warm with happiness, the dragon dipping his darkly scaled head to Pyrrhus, struggling to contain his excitement. 'That would be awesome! I would be honoured.' The drake was unsure if the male cloudjumper was merely teasing him, but he did not want to chance an underwhelming response if perchance Pyrrhus was sincere in his offer. Resting back on his haunches, the hybrid cooed softly as Katla gently scratched his head, finding himself liking this quiet Viking more and more, hoping that Eydis and Katla would eventually become close friends.

Percy took note of a dragon flying above them and landing at the ocean. The dragon was obviously trained, which meant there was a rider here. "Oh?" he said, mostly to himself "That's promising." he gestured for Eira to follow as he followed the path the dragon had flown. At the edge of the island was a hut. Perfect! There must be something important in there. Turning to Eira he said "I'll go in first, you stand by and come if I call you." she nodded and settled in a comfortable position where she could still jump into action if needed.
Zero growled lowly and opened his wings, his tail swishing side to side. With his wings acting like a barrier Luca slid off his dragons back and toyed with a sharp looking knife. It had appeared in his hand within seconds "I don't think I have to tell you, but it'll be best if you drop the egg." with three dragons and riders there was no way the man would win this battle. If he valued his life he should drop the egg and give up.

Brynn was somewhat startled by the crossbow bolt that suddenly struck the ground near her feet, impressed with Luca's aim. She'd never been good at aiming herself, and wouldn't be confident enough with any sort of projectile weapon to know that she would or wouldn't hit her target. The man went still in her grip, seemingly frightened.
"Alright, alright, just... let go," the man said. He seemed to have given up on escaping now that he was confronted with three dragons and their riders. Brynn loosened her grip on him, watching like a hawk as he leaned down and set the egg safely on the ground. "I'm just doing my job, got it? No need to kill a man over it."
As soon as the egg was out of his grasp, Brynn stooped down and snatched it up, wanting to make sure it was absolutely safe. "Selling dragon eggs for profit... what a terrible thing to do," she countered, glaring. "Do you evenknow what happens to these eggs when they hatch? Where the hatchlings go, and what your clients do with the hatchlings?"
-x-
Daggerfang stalked out of the trees behind Brynn, quietly offering her cover from behind. His eyes were laser focused onto the poacher, ready to pounce if he made one wrong move.

Freja Huffterson Dragon: Sailsnap the Grapple Grounder Location: Dragon’s Edge Freja pat Sailsnap on the head. “Good boy. Let’s eat,” she told her dragon. Sailsnap nodded, watching his rider cook the fish in front of them. Suddenly, Freja noticed a shape in front of the island, looking in her direction. She dropped her stick on the ground, and went out on the porch for a closer look. “Hello? Can I help you? You and your dragon seem lost!” The Viking called out to the mysterious visitors. Sailsnap turned around, instinctively wrapping his long body around Freja to protect her.

𝕃𝕪𝕤𝕤𝕒 𝚜𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚔𝚜𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 When the poacher finally set the egg down and it was secured in Brynn’s embrace, it was like a massive weight had lifted from Eyjolf’s shoulders. He allowed himself to relax slightly, but didn’t show it, wanting to keep up his threatening facade. He lowered the crossbow in his hands and reached for another bolt from his pack, loading it quickly into place before lifting the crossbow back up to aim at the poacher once again.
“What you’re doing is wrong,” he said to the man, and the corners of his lips pulled upward into a devious smile. “I think a bolt through your chest would be a fitting punishment.” Then he looked over to Luca beside him. “Though perhaps we should ask him some questions first?” he whispered in the other viking’s direction. Eyjolf figured that it might be best to get some information on the poacher’s clients.
***
Orest hung back behind the others, a low growl rumbling deep in his throat. When his rider told him not to attack, he abstained, though rather begrudgingly. It was a shame. He had been itching to hit something with his spiny tail, but it seemed that his rider and the other humans had the situation under control. How boring. So the Nadder paced in circles behind them, keeping an eye out for any potential danger in want of something to do.

"I know some fun tricks that will make him talk." Luca said in a sing song voice, another knife in his other hand now "That trick is to make it hurt, but make sure they're still lucid enough to talk." scaring the man into talking was the best option at this point. If he felt any loyalty to the people who had supposedly hired him then just asking wasn't going to be enough. With the egg out of harm Zero lowed his wings and stood close to Luca, ready to intercept if necessary.
Percy was surprised she had noticed him already. He offered her one of his more friendly smiles and said "Oh, me and Eira here were just exploring. We come from pretty far off, so I thought this might be a good place to stop by." his voice was even. He'd gotten somewhat good at lying throughout the years. Eira didn't seem impressed but she padded over to him and looked as earnest as a dragon could.

In fact there had been little interactions between the two of them recently mostly since Azriel had picked up a secret project which is also what had taken up a bunch of his spare metal. "If you ask how she is doing then I know she is fine, as is her dragon." He said. "I think that's amazing." Atlas said cutting in. "That you people here can fly on dragons!" He said.
