Morning for Bluerose came as restless as the sun, like some other cats, Bluerose had not slept that night. She stay posted outside of her den, watching the warriors go about providing the camp entrance with a barricade that would hopefully be enough to stave away the pools of water threatening to enter. How could she have slept? Bluerose was the sole medicine cat, if anything were to happen she needed to be the first one there to help. So when morning eventually arrived, and the pitter patter of rain dissipated, relief breathed into her for the first time that whole night. Thank you StarClan, your protection is so greatly needed in this time... She sent a short prayer with a dipped head.
When she lifted her gaze again, her eyes fell upon Howlingstar, who had just leapt from the perch of his den. Bluerose did not smile in greeting, but she did not frown, rather she kept the same emotionless expression as she always did as she picked herself up and began to trot towards him. The smooth rock under paw glided her across the camp and towards him. Only a couple moons ago Bluerose had to deliver the news that his kits were dead... It was the hardest part of her job, she had to be there to watch the anguish roll over the cats faces. She was never good at comforting, so it proved to be... awkward. But to deliver such news to Howlingstar... That was the hardest thing she had ever had to do.
"Good morning." She said curtly as she seated herself beside him, flicking her tail idly over her paws and looking towards the ceiling. Even though he stomachs it well, I know Howlingstar is still upset over such a loss... He won't speak of it to me, though. Ancestors, please bless him with your grace, and mercy. She looked back down again and towards her leader. "The spirits have shown us kindness, this morning. The rain's have stopped, and the storm clouds are being swept away. Things are really looking brighter for FrostClan." She spoke robotically.
R a c c o o n m a s k
Hooo... What a morning! Raccoonmask stretched luxuriously, pushing around the moss that made his nest. His claws tethered in and out of the bedding, a low, happy purr rumbling in his chest as he blinked open his eyes, still heavy with their dreams. It was freezing during the night, but thankfully the tom's heavy, fluffy fur helped combat that. Now it was warmer, and the air smelt of fresh rain fall. He laid in his nest a while more, watching as some of his clan-mates got up and padded out of the den. Everyone's always in such a hurry... He yawned, clicking his jaws together. Maybe he could benefit with another little nap...
But it was the smell of prey drifting from the camp that eventually brought Raccoonmask to his paws. He stretched again, his bones popping and prompting a relived sigh from his jaws. He padded out of the den at a snails pace, lifting his gaze to the sunlight that poured in through the camp entrance. It was such a beautiful morning... He swiveled his head around to take everything in, and saw Larkpetal sitting under a little outcropping cleaning her fur. He trotted towards the fresh kill pile, picking up a squirrel from among the rankings, a hefty meal, even for him. But, he would have eaten it all by himself, it wouldn't have been the first time. But today he felt like sharing, maybe he could get some gossip, find out what's been going on around the camp while he's been dozing.
"This seat taken?" Raccoonmask dropped the squirrel in front of his paws, standing in front of Larkpetal. He gave his signature big, dopey grin, eyes still tired and fur messy.

Gaze drawn by the movement of his medicine cat, the tom came to a neat stop as Bluerose appeared before him. Her face the usual unreadable tone most of the clan had grown used to of their medicine cat, he flicked his tail in greeting to the shecat. Twitching his ears in an attempt to rid them of the speckles of water remaining in his dense fur, for a moment he listened to the medicine cat. His own expression carrying the usual calm that he was known for, he had grown used to carving this facade onto the dark fur of his expression. He did so for the good of his clan, even if it left the tom's heart in a rather broken state. He knew his clan had moved on from their losses, and he couldn't be left behind in the dark if he wanted to prove himself a good leader as well as a capable one. The tom cat's dreams still danced with memories and images of the ones he had lost, and his heart continued to ache deep within his chest at their mere mention. Though only those truly close to him could even guess at the true extent of his pain, he refused to talk about it even to them. You have to move on, he would repeat in a monotone to himself when sleep evaded him. But nothing seemed to help, he could only pray that eventually he would get over the pain. But to what he prayed to, Howlingstar himself didn't even know. He was grateful for the advice and companionship of his medicine cat, even if sometimes it only hurt him more than it helped him. He would never admit such aloud, so instead he put on the level headed persona that had lost its truth a long time ago to the tom cat. "Good morning, Bluerose," he greeted with a dip of his massive head. The leader, as with most cats, towered over his medicine cat. But his calm nature made him a lot less intimidating than such size might have appeared on another cat. "Indeed," he agreed though admittedly through rather gritted teeth. "They were kind to us this morning," for once, "The rains could have been far worse than they were, I feared at one point we might have needed to evacuate the nursery and elders den," he meowed with an even tone. His ears twitching as he cast his gaze skyward, "Though at the very least it seems that was the last of the rain for a while."

As medicine cat, it was part of her job to work towards trying to understand her clan mates, especially those of significance, like Howlingstar. Bluerose liked to think herself rather good at reading others, and as such, thought she hinted a bit of doubt as she spoke of StarClan. She decided not to bring it up however, as she looked at him with steady eyes. It was almost intimidating how the shecat seemed to peer into ones very soul, unblinking. If she were big and strong she would be quite intimidating. But instead, she seemed more enigmatic.
"Any signs of activity across the borders?" She asked, and it would have been a strange question if it didn't carry the context of her father. Bluerose asked about such things often, and while there certainty wasn't any kidnappings or mysterious murders, she still felt it right to ask at least twice a moon if there was any evidence of him. Bluerose didn't talk about her father to anyone but Howlingstar, as there was a level of trust and respect between a leader and their medicine cat.
It wasn't even known what Bluerose would do if she had the information that her father was still alive... Truthfully, she herself didn't even know. But would StarClan truly frown upon murder if it was to bring down a cat who had done so many wrongs? In her eyes, it would have been justice well served. Repentance for his sins against not only FrostClan, but to humanity.

Casting a knowing gaze onto the medicine cat, that was the only hint that the tom cat had understood the medicine cat's unspoken meaning behind her questions. An onlooker might have assumed that what had been asked had only been out of curiosity or in an attempt to make small talk between leader and his medicine cat. But the handsome tom unfortunately knew better, Howlingstar knew all too well the history of the shecat beside him. And part of him understood all too well her need to ensure no further pain was caused amongst their ranks. For the midnight black tom would have done anything in his power to prevent his clan knowing the pain that they had been in recent moons. Both leader and medicine cat carried wounds, though not visible, of their pasts. And it was learning to carry them with pride or without lingering on what had once happened that Howlingstar continued to struggle with, though he did well enough when it came to masking his truths. Anyone who looked close enough could have seen it, but nowadays he let very few close enough to take a peek. Not anymore at least. "Patrols have found nothing," he said firmly, not a tone of doubt to be found amongst his voice. "It all seems peaceful," almost too peaceful, though for the sake of his medicine cat and close friend he didn't voice such aloud. "It seems that for once, life might just be returning to normal." His whiskers twitched as though in a show of amusement, but he remained still otherwise and his expression remained neutral. Moving to rest his long black tail across the shoulder of Bluerose as he said in a surprisingly thoughtful manner considering the usual quiet of his tone. "And if anything does occur, I have no doubts that our clan wont be able to face it and defeat it," he promised. Hoping to at least somewhat appease Bluerose's fear.

- - Save for charries
Magpiepaw (f) - Coupled with a petite stature and seemingly fragile physique, this feminine looks nothing like war material. What she lacks in brawn is quickly compensated for in speed. Her limbs are spindly, making her easily agile and limber, allowing the development of lean muscle to tone her shoulders. She stands daintily on bijou paws and, as a result, strides surprisingly regally for an apprentice fresh out of the nursery. Her face is soft and babyish, complimenting the innocence awash deep within her almond-shaped light blue eyes. Downy fluff fills her cheeks and ears—ones identified for being triangular in shape and oddly large in size. Kittenish fur clothes her frail body in a colorpoint array, creamy brown for a base, with an beautiful overlay of a dark chocolate mask, socks, and tail bands—a great indicator to her Siamese origin. Buoyant and boosterish, Magpiepaw is an immediate choice for company. She is quite staunch and dedicated when it comes down to an assignment and does the best of her ability to succeed. Even when a chore proves too onerous, she obliges herself forward to the point of exhaustion. Due to her young age, her nature often becomes a detrimental routine as too much can become a potential threat. She works hard and ever so obediently, her affinity to heal and protect her Clan proving to be a great motivator. ᔕɿɱƿՆעᗰעς੮ע Medicine cat apprentice Open to bloodlines/enemies (tho I doubt my poor bab deserves any enemies :'((() N/A
Rabbitblush (m) - Rather tall in height and lean in body shape lends to Rabbitblush’s overall athletic stature, though hints of a scrawny undertone is often displayed by his unusually skinny appearance. His limbs are long, thin and spindly, more inclined for sprinting than brawling. Pelage of a reddish chocolate coats the dainty figure in strands of curt, silken origin, eventually ending in a narrow, completely russet tail—though extra feathered fur is notable for tufting his ankles and neck in an aesthetic fashion. His face is round and soft, exuding a babyish charm that can be seen as adorable to some. Likewise, his ears are silkily furred as they poise daintily at the pinnacle of his head; their size being oddly large, with little flopping at their tips. Discoid eyes are housed within this slender cranium and are hazel in color with flecking of an emerald pigmentation.
Though coming off as skittish and rather obsequious in nature, it’s all a facade to heavily mask the manipulation and deceitfulness plaguing his heart and mental status. He was once an innocent apprentice, but was tainted by the ideals and power the Dark Forest had to offer. He’s grown in their toxic environment, taking each combat technique or recommendation and manifesting it into something dangerous and lethal. His outlook on life has since grown pessimistic, though he tries his best to convey optimism as not to blow his cover. In reality, he despises the filth and weakness that has come to make up FrostClan, and hopes to rid it of its debility. ᔕɿɱƿՆעᗰעς੮ע Warrior / Possible Opportunist Open to bloodlines/enemies N/A
Quailhop (f) - Queen A lean, athletic build of well-founded bone coated by a thick layer of muscle creates an overall robust, yet hardy frame with a firm, sturdy feel. Periods of sprinting through the moor in order to capture fast prey has lent to the neat lining of thew along each of her dainty limbs, in turn easily allowing the leveling of the feminine’s corpulent trunk in a confident, self-assured manner. The physique is quite blocky and rectangular, coated by a curt, fuzzy fleece of a silken, thin texture colored a rich blue. Paws take the impression of being dipped into black paint, with the hue fading into a smokey variation the further it travels up the ankles, ultimately concluding in light, zigzagging stripes. The same streaks are present snaking across wiry tail. Fur plumes shortly from the molly’s angular cheeks, the rounded face they adhere to accommodating optics colored an emerald heather that exude a certain allure which can captivate just about anyone. Quailhop is seen as a warm, caring, and strong warrior that cares deeply about her clan and family. Her intelligence leans towards strategic reasoning in both combat and hunting fields, lending her to being an ideal cat to be placed in charge of patrols. During these outings, she can be described as a calm, collected, yet iron-fisted commander, but with the patience and lenience of a queen. Lately, however, what with the weight of loosing her past litter and the possibility of the same happening to her next, she’s fallen into a deep depression, making her appear exhausted and puffy-eyed more times than not. ᔕɿɱƿՆעᗰעς੮ע Queen Mate to Howlingstar, otherwise open to bloodlines/enemies N/A

(Sorry for my poof! Me and my husband are out getting groceries so I don’t have time to respond yet. ^^’ Awww I’m so happy.! Bluerose is going to have a little apprentice! Just keep in mind I guess when making her that Bluerose hasn’t been medicine cat for super long, but like she knows everything, it’s just likely that Magpiepaw would have remembered her becoming medicine cat when she was either a kit or a younger apprentice.)

I’m super excited, like would you say that Magpie has been her apprentice for a moon, or even less? c: I would, but sadly Raccoon is homosexual and always had known he is, so I don’t see him being with a shecat. ;.; He can be like her adoptive father though? ^w^ Though he would act like a lot more like a big brother.)

(That sounds awesome! If Star is okay with it we can even like, have her ceremony that day? o: So she could be her newly new new newly made apprentice and Bluerose can be all edgy xD -Gasps- I just had an idea! If you’re completly okay with it, maybe Magpie had one or two siblings that she never got to have time to know because when they were one or two moons they “mysteriously disappeared” and it was because of Bluerose’s father? Maybe even one of the siblings looked a lot like Magpie, so every time Bluerose looks at her she feels all weird, but at the same time feels a hardened conviction to protect Magpie and raise her into a wonderful, noble medicine cat. If this isn’t okay with you that’s 100% okay! Just an idea I thought that could connect them in a cool way. c: And Raccoon is going to be such a good big brother ;D; “Hey girlie come take a seat next to big bro Raxy.”)

Sometimes, the molly missed the gentle embrace of sleep—the peaceful lull it brought, the replenished energy for another day. But restlessness had come like a plague, depriving her of the very rest she so desperately needed. Dreams were a main cause, namely ones regarding her past litter. Sure, they were blissfully happy, with the family complete and frolicking in the field, but she’d eventually wake up, cheeks moist with tears to find empty imprints at the curve of her stomach. Then, came the nightmares. These mainly involved her unborn kits following the same fate as her deceased. She would awaken in cold sweat, swallowing down choked sobs of regret and remorse. With the repeated cycle of rousing in distress, her body had latched onto uneasy consciousness, matching something similar to insomnia.
The lack of sleep had since taken its toll, both in health and hygiene. Nowadays her eyes drooped with pure exhaustion and her fur remained unkempt and tangled. Sometimes, she wouldn’t move for hours at a time, staring aimlessly at a particular spot whilst simultaneously acting as a unfeeling statue. …Or so she wished. Suffice to say, she was depressed, spiraling further and further into its dark and fierce grip.
She still managed to wear a confident mask in public, despite feeling very, very small inside. What type of cat was she if she couldn’t even protect her own kits? She knew that there wasn’t much a dam could do against sickness, but with the copious amount of time she’d had to be occupied in her own thoughts, it had turned into self-deprecating blame—one she never had the strength to deny or fix. It was a pitiful situation, in short.
The mother slipped from out of her nest, stumbling slightly as blackness momentarily met her vision. Fatigue soon followed as the vertigo diminished, but she willed herself to trudge forward—slow, but steady.
The morning air greeted her, warm and refreshing in feel. Jowls parted, immediately taking to inspiring a lungful of air, enjoying the way it cleared her head and how some scents sweetly fell onto her tongue. Her exhale came out as a pensive sigh.
Her stomach shifted with the weight of her kittens, their relentless kneading reminding her the need to eat—despite otherwise not having an appetite. It had been like this for moons now, but she still found it in her to force herself to eat, sometimes pushed by Howlingstar’s gentle encouragements. Speaking of the tom, she noticed him a little ways off, having a discussion with their fellow medicine cat. Feeling the need to push off breakfast even for a bit, the she-cat headed over, resolve striking with each step.
She called out in strained greeting, hoping to appraise the duo of her advancement,
“Good morning! How are the lot of you? ...Hopefully I'm not interrupting anything important?” ooc ...
Done :0! I need to go to bed now, but I'll be on tomorrow ^^!

Lips already parted with the beginning of his next response, it would go unspoken as his attention was drawn by a familiar voice. But the speaker had long lost her familiar appearance, gone was the kind but strategic shecat he had fallen for to be replaced by what he could only view as a shell of her former self. Though he loved her still, their relationship had grown distant from what it once had been, and it left his heart aching. The queen, much like the tom himself had crafted herself a facade. Something which another might have mistaken for recovery but the tom knew better for her harboured many of the same emotions deep within his gut. She tried to put on a persona of what she had been before, but to the tom who knew her the best saw this as little more than a stranger carrying the shecat he adored’s scent. He loved her, and wanted to do anything in his power to protect her and the kits she carried. But he had already failed that once, and his worst fear was that he would again. He would have laid down his life to keep them safe time and time again, but he knew all too well nothing would bring back their first litter. And as far as he was concerned that made him a failure as a father. And he had no one to whom he felt he could express this to, his clan looked to him for strength and leadership, and Howlingstar felt he needed to try to be this for his mate. Even if he felt far from that most of the time these days. Moving a step or two to stand beside his mate, he brushed his nose across her ears in kind greeting before returning to the side of his medicine cat, gesturing with his long black tail for the queen to come settle herself beside them, his gaze flickering across her frame. Landing briefly upon the swell of her stomach but he quickly dragged it from the distended belly, “Of course not,” he replied, licking her shoulder as she came to sit beside the pair. Saying nothing both for the sake of not worrying his mate, nor giving more of Bluerise’s past away then the medicine cat would likely appreciate. Despite his kind tone of voice and open show of affection, though in a more private setting the tom carried himself with a degree of stiffness to his form. He hid it well, but it was apparent to those close enough to the warrior to see the signs. His eyes were still lit with the same adoration they once had, but now underlining them there was a degree of pain. “How are you?” He questioned with a concerned twitch of his whiskers. Pushing himself against her gently in affectionate greeting. Touching her stomach with his long tail as it draped across her flanks, but still he refused to settle his gaze upon it. “Have you eaten yet?” He was all too aware of her tendency of forgetting to eat.
