Littleflower watched the kit scurry off in the wrong way before running back over to her. She flicked her tail in the direction of the Medicine Cat den, "This way," she instructed Runningkit, starting off in that direction herself.

Pebblepaw purred back at the she-cat, flicking her tail in a goodbye as she went to check in on the rest of the camp.
Arrowstar nodded to Echoblaze before he looked around the camp. He flicked his tail and led the warrior over to the ruined apprentices' den knowing it would be empty and private.
Graywhisker dipped his head back to Birchleaf before he backed out of the den again, knowing his daughter was sleeping silently and there was no sign of an early labor.
Icespark lifted her head up, purring weakly to the medicine cat before she sat up. She carefully shook out her pelt before she moved to lean forward to take a bite of the thrush. She wanted to argue that there were other cats that deserved a meal but a kick in her stomach made her eat.
Rainpaw nodded to Maplerose as they nearly finished he moved across to Birchleaf. He dipped his head in greeting. "Birchleaf, do you think Pebblepaw would be able to come hunting with us?" He asked her.

Echoblaze followed Arrowstar's gaze before following the tom to the ruined den. When they were there and out of sight or hearing, he began, "When Yarrowpelt and I were brining Charlie back to camp, we came across a pair of loners. They didn't see us, but it sounded like they were planing on gathering a group to attack the clan. We didn't apprehend them because Charlie was with us, and, frankly, I don't think we -or the clan- are in any position to fight, especially with such a low herb store." He explained the situation to the leader. "What are your thoughts?" -- Littleflower followed Runningkit into the medicine cat den. "Birchleaf?" She asked first before adding, "Is there anything runningkit and I could do to help?"

Birchleaf sighed, looking up from her grooming with drooping ears. Looks like her break was over. "Go get your sister," She replied, smiling at Rainpaw first, "I'll have a look and if it's still good, she can go hunting with you." Nodding firmly, she turned her attention to Littleflowerand the small kit following her. Her expression went soft and she pushed aside her exhaustion to smile warmly. "Thank you for the offer, Littleflower," She said, lying down, "But most of what needs done now is collection."
Birchleaf paused for a moment, thinking, before getting to her paws and padding towards her stores. She picked out a large bundle of leaves and brought them over to the pair. "This, is Dock." She informed Runningkit, motioning to them, "In good times they're mainly used for carrying other herbs, but in times like these we need all the help we can get. You see, Dock can also be used for mild scratches and to ease the pain of wounds when added to nests. It's also very plentiful, even now." She smiled softly at the pair, nudging the leaves closer to them. "If you could place one of these in each nest, I'd be grateful. That way we should all sleep a little better tonight and be ready fro action first thing tomorrow."

Charlie smiled in acknowledgement, then picked up the piece of prey in her jaws. She began to slowly walk over to some shade beside a bush, then laid down and placed the prey at her paws. Dipping her head, she began to nibble at it.
Crowwing huffed quietly, his tail flicking. He was in an unnaturally bad mood after everything that had happened, hiding his sorrow and fear with anger. Heavy, irritable anger. In truth, he was terrified and wanted to open up to someone- he just felt weak.

Not even noticing the she-cat there, he jumped when her soft voice broke the silence. He glanced over his shoulder, eyes narrow. I'm perfectly fine. My clanmates are either petrified, missing, or dead- and I'm stuck here not even being able to speak my mind, thought Crowwing with a frown. "I'm fine."

((Gah, I thought it got posted!))
The tall tom rose to his paws, then turned to face the kittypet completely. "Why are you so curious?" he growled, his tail lashing. Though he wasn't truly angry- he only believed he was- Crowwing wanted so badly to speak to her. Even though he didn't know it.

The tom rolled his eyes, glancing past her to the camp exit. Crowwing grumbled quietly, then slid past her and stalked off into the forest. He didn't realize it, but he'd really invited her to follow by brushing against her flank. She doesn't know what it's like...

Crowwing hissed quietly at her utterance, his fur bristling. "I'm not being stupid, you-" he growled, cutting himself off. "What in Starclan do you want from me?" huffed the black tom, his icy eyes still narrow.

Crowwing suddenly whipped around to face her, stopping right in front of her as she walked. He hissed. "I owe you nothing. Nobody asked you to help us." The tom's fur bristled, his eyes full of ice.

Iceclaw came back from a day of hunting. Having caugh a two vole and three mice, he was tired from all that running and pouncing.

The tom rolled his eyes, obviously irritated. In truth, he was quite surprised by her calm reaction to his blow-up. Turning forward once more, he continued to stalk onward.

Crowwing stopped for a moment, though he didn't bother looking back at the she-cat. "I don't even know your name, how am I to trust you won't use that information against me? I've had my share of traitors," hissed the warrior, his tail lashing. Truly, she was quite right. But the tom- unfortunately- had gained trust issues after everything he'd gone through. Born to rogues, harassed by others, befriending enemies only to find the hard truth...

Crowwing's ears flattened against his head. "Just leave it be," uttered the tom, his icy voice softening a bit. Continuing to walk slowly, the difficult tom kept his eye out for any cats or prey- both would be a miracle.

The black tom quite suddenly stopped in his tracks as a pang of loneliness struck him once she began to leave. Crowwing's mouth spoke before his brain did, and he let out an apologetic meow. "Where are you going?"

Crowwing grew slightly curious. "You're two legs are still in their house? I thought they all evacuated for the flood..." he began, hesitating for a moment before turning and following after the she-cat.
