Echoblaze clawed at the ground before following Yarrowpelt, "I feel the same way. -He will not be pleased." When he heard Charlie, he slowed his pace a touch so she would have an easier time. "I'm sorry you're joining Falconclan during such dire times. Any other moon and you would have been welcomed with much friendlier conditions," while he said that, it wasn't necessarily true. Any other moon and they probably would have chased her out of their territory.
Brackenpaw's stomach churned with what Arrowstar had said. Four of their clanmates were already confirmed dead. He knew that not all of their clanmates would make it back to camp, but the reality of it still hit him hard. "Yeah... she is strong," he murmured in response, padding alongside his leader.
-- (Um, so, I'm so sorry! I have this school trip in the mountains where I won't have internet connection, so I'll be inactive for three days -Monday [so tomorrow] until Wednesday. That in mind, while I'm gone you can more or less just ditch Brackenpaw and Echoblaze, they don't necessarily need interactions at the moment since they can just kind of be ignored.

Yarrowpelt stumbled and almost flipped, but didn't slow down. He careened down the path and straight into camp. Looking around wild-eyed, he ran up to Birchleaf and hissed anxiously, "Is Arrowstar back yet? Echoblaze and I need to talk with him."

((I Live! Kinda. Sorta. Enough to get back into things at least, though I may be slow for a bit while I regain my energy. ^^)) (Tagging - The Mindless Opal, yarrowpelt, Avalon) Maplerose sighed, scrubbing a paw over her eyes as she helped Rainpaw set up the last nest in the Elder's den. She glanced over at her brother, but he was sleeping peacefully, the poppy allowing him to sleep deeply and without pain. As traumatic as holding Foxpounce down while Birchleaf wrenched his shoulder back into place was, she was so grateful it was done and her littermate could heal now. "Well, that's another sorted," She spoke softly, turning to smile tiredly at Rainpaw, "Just the Medicine Cat Den to go. We should have enough moss to finish up, though we'll have to get more in the next couple of days."
Birchleaf trudged back to her den, leftover items bundled back into the large dock leaf and swinging gently from her mouth. She grimaced internally at what certainly awaited her. Her cozy, quiet den crowded and going to become more so before the day was out. She was going to have to grab a couple of apprentices and a warrior tomorrow and go for the important herbs, if her harvesting spots were still intact. She huffed, frustrated and tired, when Yarrowpelt rushed up to her. She turned an irritated eye at him, but softened as she saw how bothered he seemed. She set her bundle down to answer him. "I haven't seen him around yet," She replied, voice less harsh than it usually was in her exhaustion, "But I'm sure he'll be back soon." Then she paused. "Echoblaze? Send him to my den when he gets back. We found his kit. She's alive, but warn him it's not good news." Birchleaf shook her head, picking up her bundle and continuing on, slipping into her den and into her storage, putting her kit away. "Alright," She addressed the entire den as she stepped back into the main area, "How's everyone feeling now?"

Tinykit was slowly starting to feel better with the herbs Birchleaf had gave him. He slowly attempted to stand up. As he stood up on shaky legs, he looked around. "I'll go now, Birchleaf. Thank you!" He said in a small and shaky voice. He cautiously stepped out of the den.

(I. AM. BACK.)
Echoblaze followed Yarrowpelt into camp, but stalled at the entrance, scanning the clearing for Willowshade. He frowned and stepped in, scenting her in the direction of the medicine cat. He paused, looking back at Charlie, "I'm sorry, I really need to see my mate. -If you're still hungry, theres not much, but, you can eat," he flicked his tailtip in the direction of the freshkill pile. "And if anycat gives you trouble, say Arrowstar will explain. If that doesn't keep them at bay, call for me. -I'm Echoblaze just in case you need a refresher."
The tom nodded to the former kittypet and hurried in the direction of the medicine cat den. He saw Yarrowpelt at the mouth of the den and nodded to the tom. "We'll talk to Arrowstar when he gets here," he glanced into the den and back at his friend, hoping the tom would understand his eagerness to see his mate before anything. He padded into the den, pausing at Tinykit so they didn't bump eachother, "Careful little guy. Don't stray to far." He padded past and looked over as Willowshade came into view.
A look of pure relief was painted on Willowshade's face. Echoblaze padded over and settled beside her, licking her ear before looking down at Rosekit. "Does she look smaller? She looks smaller than I remember. And why is she laying like that? -What's wrong with her breathing?" he questioned, worrying over the small she-cat. "You were always more of the worrier. I thought the tom was supposed to be the comforter," Willowshade teased, though he could hear the sharp stab of worry in her voice. Willowshade looked like she wanted to say more, but then nudged their kit until Rosekit's little head popped up. He could see her whiskers twitching as she undoubtedly could scent him.
Rosekit looked over her shoulder at him and he watched as she struggled to turn around, her hind legs dragging slightly at her attempt to face him and Willowshade. "Echoblaze!" She squeaked, her voice hoarse, "There was a lot of rai-" she broke off in a small spurt of coughing that raked through her body. A small bit of blood spattered on the ground, but Echoblaze and the she-cat next to him didn't seem to notice. He met Willowshade's look. "It's her- her back," his mate's voice broke as she murmured it to him. His feeling of dread worsened as he looked back at Rosekit. "Yes there was. I bet that there was enough water to fill a lake." Rosekit looked up at him with huge, awe-filled, eyes. "Really?" she breathed. It amazed Echoblaze how the little cat wasn't worried or scared at all. He was trying to hide his worry and dread from the now-awake kit so she wouldn't pick up on it.
Echoblaze looked over at Birchleaf, "Can... it be fixed?" he reluctantly asked, anxious that he already knew the answer. His tail-tip flicked as he awaited the medicine cat's response.

Charlie nodded understandingly, doing her best to smile. Poor tom, I hope his daughter's okay. she thought distantly, then turned and looked around. She was certainly unsure of what to do, and it was already strange that a scrawny kittypet had walked into the camp along with two warriors. The bicolor tabby sighed under her breath and laid down on the ground, exhausted.

(Tagging - Avalon) Birchleaf pulled Echoblaze away slightly, pitching her voice low so Rosekit couldn't hear. "I'll do what I can but, Echoblaze," She face was sympathetic as she delivered the bad news, "To be quite honest, it's astonishing that she survived the accident to begin with. It's entirely likely that the most I'll be able to do is keep her comfortable. I've never dealt with this before and from what I've been told..." She shook her head and sighed, "And that's only if the broken back is the only thing wrong, if anything else was damaged in the accident then there's little hope. You and Willowshade will have to watch her closely. I don't like her breathing." Birchleaf paused, stopping herself from beginning to ramble as she was so prone to doing in her youth. "I'm sorry, Echoblaze," She mewled, devastated that she couldn't do more, but there were limits to a Medicine Cat's abilities.

Echoblaze didn't know what to say. He'd guessed that there wouldn't be much the medicine cat could do, but he hadn't realized that the injury could possibly cost the kit her life. After a long pause, he managed, "Thank you, Birchleaf." He dipped his head to her before padding back over to Rosekit and Willowshade. He shook his head gently to his mate as he sat beside her and the she-cat pressed against him as they watched Rosekit try to play with moss from the nest the best the little cat could.

(Hey guys. I had horrible headaches, a job interview and the flu. I feel bad for abandoning, but I return... Once more. xD) [ Avalon] Arrowstar shortened his stride to stride to stay in step with the apprentice as they made their way back towards the hollow and the camp. ( Lycaonia I'm glad you're feeling better!!!) Rainpaw nodded, gathering up his extra moss as he glanced towards Foxpounce. "I can take care of the medicine cat's den alone if you'd rather stay with him?" He asked softly. He knew he wouldn't want to leave the side of Pebblepaw if she was injured. He hadn't wanted to leave her side anyway. 𝖘𝖎𝖑𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖘𝖎𝖑𝖐Pebblepaw was lounging in a patch of sunlight near the bush that had once sheltered the apprentices den. She looked up at the kitty-pet she cat, looking at her scrawny pelt and how tired she looked, the apprentice stood. She moved over to what little fresh-kill a few cats had brought in. She nosed out a small finch and took it over to the she-cat. "Hi!" She mewed, dropping the bird. "This is for you."

Charlie tilted her head at the suddenly kind gesture, purring softly. "That's very sweet of you..." the she-cat meowed, gratitude apparent in her expressions as she glanced at the finch. Though she had just eaten, she had to admit she was still a bit hungry. "I'm Charlie," introduced the loner.

𝖘𝖎𝖑𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖘𝖎𝖑𝖐 "I'm Pebblepaw." The apprentice said sitting down near her. She was hoping Rainpaw would be done soon so they could share a meal together. It would be like old times. "Are you a kittypet?" She asked softly. "I've never met one before."

(Tagging - The Mindless Opal) Maplerose looked at her brother longingly for a moment, before shaking her head. "Thank you, Rainpaw," She mewed quietly, pressing her muzzle to the side of his head, "But Foxpounce will be fine and the Clan needs every paw available at the moment." She padded towards the exit to the den, pausing briefly to smile back at him. "Come on," She continued, tilting her head, "We'll get this done and rest for a bit. Then, if you want, I can take you out hunting."
Birchleaf sighed, moving away from the small family. She knew the prospect was grim for the young kit. Even if Rosekit survived, she'd never be a Warrior. She wouldn't even be allowed to leave Camp by herself. Birchleaf shook the thoughts from her head and headed back outside her den. She saw Pebblepaw talking to a cat she had never seen before, but ignored it since both were relaxed. Instead she headed for the fresh-kill pile, looking it over before separating out a squirrel and a couple of mice. She grabbed the squirrel and headed back to her den to feed her patients.

The loner thought about how to reply to the apprentice's question for a moment. She looked to be around the same age as Charlie, if not slightly younger. "I was a kittypet, up until very recently. So I suppose you could call me one," she explained slowly.

Tinykit padded out, slowly regaining strength, but not saying a word. His wide amber eyes scraped the ruined camp. He felt some grief for the few cats that were lost in the flood. He shook his thoughts and decided to remain positive by cheering the others up by doing cute and funny things, but it would be hard because of the dark brown mud and big puddles of murky water. He tried to stay on the bright side, but he kept turning back to the dark side of the moon. Everyone looked tired and overworked, and the dens were unstable. The sun barely shown through the grim clouds over head. He shook his head again, clearing his negative thoughts. Tinykit looked for a sad cat to cheer up, hoping to make someone happier.

Brackenpaw padded alongside the leader. It wasn't long before strong clan scent filled the air and shortly after the wrecked camp came into sight. He quickened his pace and hurried in to camp, excited and relieved to be back. -- Littleflower padded out of the den and into the clearing. She stretched and tried to think of what needed to be done. Arrowstar will tell us if we should start rebuilding the camp, so I think what we have will be good for now. We need search parties, we need to patrol, and we really need to hunt. The she-cat looked around camp, trying to identify somecat to hunt or search with. She noticed Arrowstar and Brackenpaw enter camp. Littlwflower hurried over to Arrowstar, "I think Yarrowpelt and Echoblaze were looking for you, it seemed urgent," she reported to the leader. -- Rosekit stumbled a bit with the strands of moss and started coughing. Her chest felt heavy and she was tired. She could taste iron on her tongue and pressed her paw over a spot of red on the moss. She looked over at Willowshade and Echoblaze. "I'm going to dream, okay? -You don't have to worry," she gave her parents a big smile, "while I sleep you can do your duties." She assumed they were worried about what needed to be done while they watched her, so she wanted them to do what they needed to do. "I will wake up later and we can be happy, okay?" Without waiting for a response, she got as comfortable as she could, and was soon in a light sleep. -- Willowshade's heart ached as she listened to her kit and watched the young cat easily fall asleep. She looked over at Echoblaze, "I know you have things to do. I'll watch her -just, dont be gone for to long." She murmured to him. Her mate nodded with a soft, kind look, "Of course. I'll be back as soon as I can," he pressed his nose against her fur before standing and exiting the den. She watched as he left before settling down beside her kit. Of course she wasn't going to leave Rosekit alone -even though Birchleaf and the other patients would be here nonetheless.

[ Lycaonia] Rainpaw nodded, following the warrior outside of the den. "Do you think we can take Pebblepaw with us?" He asked as they headed towards the Medicine Cat's Den. "Or should we let her rest with his paw?" His eyes glanced across the camp where his sister sat talking to a new cat he'd never seen. As they entered the den he looked around. Icespark was curled up asleep in one corner, and he purred at the sight of Willowshade and Echoblaze, his eyes moving down to Rosekit. He had grown quite fond of the little she-cat since he had found her that morning. He waved his tail in greeting to the family before he set to working on nests. [ 𝖘𝖎𝖑𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖘𝖎𝖑𝖐] Pebblepaw smiled softly at the former kitty-pet. "It's nice to meet you," she said softly. "If you need anything let me know! If we get a large enough nest, you could share with my brother, Rainpaw, and I." She offered. [ Avalon] Arrowstar nearly raced towards the camp, looking around. The camp was mostly ruined and there were plenty of cats still missing. He looked at Littleflower, dipping her head to him. "Thank you, I will go find them." He said softly, dipping his head to the she-cat before he padded towards the Medicine Cat den where Echoblaze appeared. "Echoblaze," he greeted. [ yarrowpelt] Graywhisker and Fishfur padded into camp with a thrush and a couple mice between the two, they dropped it on the small pile before moving away to wait for further instructions. Graywhisker headed towards the Medicine Cat's Den, carefully only sticking his head in to check on Icespark.

Echoblaze was startled to see Arrowstar as soon as the tom emerged from the medicine cat den. His face hardened, "Arrowstar," he returned the greeting, "we should speak in private; I have alarming news." He continued briefly. He hoped the urgency of the news came across in his tone. Now that Arrowstar was in camp, it was something that couldn't wait.

(Tagging- The Mindless Opal, Avalon) Birchleaf, Willowshade and IcesparkBirchleaf padded back into her den, nodding to Greywhisker as he peered in, but not stopping to talk. Sheheaded back to Willowshade and set the squirrel down in front of her. "Eat up," She said quietly, nudged the meal towards her, "You'll need your strength. Try to get Rosekit to eat something when she wakes up as well. If she doesn't have an appetite, tell me." There was a slight scent of blood in the air, but it had been that way since she got back. Most of the clan had cuts and scratches that would need tending eventually and it made the she-cat droop a little further. The flood had washed away a good bit of her stores and there was no way she had enough Marigold for the whole clan, which meant she would have to rely on less effective herbs. Shaking her head, Birchleaf headed back out to the fresh-kill pile, picking up the new thrush that was there. With Icespark getting so close to kitting, the queen would need a bigger meal than a mouse. She returned to her den, seeing that Maplerose and Rainpaw had begun building nests. She moved to Icespark, nudging the queen gently awake. "Food," She murmured softly, setting the thrush down and sitting nearby, beginning to wash her own fur while keeping an eye on her patients. She knew she had little time to rest, but she needed a small one or she was going to collapse. Maplerose and Rainpaw"We'll ask Birchleaf first," Maplerose replied as she padded into the Medicine Cat den after him, "If she says that Pebblepaw can go out on it, then we'll take her with us." She began building up nests. The Medicine Den wasn't the largest in the camp, but it was certainly bigger than Arrowstar's, so they'd get a good few built. She noticed as Birchleaf moved in and out of the den before settling down. "Why don't you go ask her now," Maplerose purred, nudging Rainpaw, "I'll finish these off."

Willowshade looked down at the squirrel. Her first instinct was to refuse it, but when Birchleaf mentioned getting Rosekit to eat, she decided it would be okay. "Thank you," she murmured, dipping her head to the medicine cat as the she-cat padded away. Willowshade looked down at the rodent and took a few bites out of the scrawny creature and left about half for when Rosekit would wake up. -- Rosekit squealed in delight, standing in a grassy clearing with trees to her right and grassland to her left. In her dream, she was larger, fully grown. Instinctively, she knew her name was Roserose, because what else could it be? Rosekit (now in her dream as Roserose) padded into the forested section and soon the scent of squirrel filled the air. She saw a creature up ahead and crouched. Waging her haunches and swishing her tail over the leaves, she crept forward and then pounced, catching the squirrel in one quick movement. Triumphant, she left the forest with her catch and returned to Falconclan's camp. The clan cheered her name as she proudly came in, showing off the squirrel she had caught. Tinykit -in this dream world, Tinycat- complimented her. Rosekit's whiskers twitched while she slept, a coarse purr escaping her at the fantastic dream. (Roserose and Tinycat x3 )

Littleflower watched as Arrowstar left to talk to Echoblaze, but her attention was caught at a familiar scent and a tom not long after runing into camp. The she-cat hurried over to the tom, "Timberlegs! Are you alright?" She fervently asked. She hadn't realized she'd missed him until he was actually in camp and she felt sort of bad for not having placed her worry before now.

"Y-yes! Birchleaf should be in her den right now." Littleflower informed him. She looked over his shoulder to see Runningkit. "Is Runningkit okay? I can watch [him/her] while Birchleaf helps you if that's the case," she offered. She was so relieved that more of her clanmates were returning. It reminded her that they still had a long way to go in finding everycat. That there could still be survivors.

Littleflower watched as Timberlegs wandered off to the medicine cat den before her attention was stolen by the little kit. "It's okay," she purred in amusement. She crouched down so she could be closer to eye-level with him and smiled at Runningkit, "There's so many cats in the clan that it can be hard to remember them all, so I'm Littleflower. We've only met once or twice," she gave him a proper introduction just to make sure he wasn't afraid of her. "We could play, or -I'm sure you're hungry. You can get something from the freshkill pile," she suggested. Although it was small, the kits should be well fed since they would be the future of the clan.

Littleflower smiled softly at the kit, "It'd probably be best if we stayed in camp since we don't want Timberlegs to worry if you suddenly disappeared. Instead, why don't we see if Birchleaf needs help with anything?" She suggested, cluing in to Runningkit's intentions.
