“You know, they must’ve scared all the prey away with their stench.” He hissed, shadeclan’s stench was musky and gross.” We should hunt somewhere else.” He suggested looking at the border once more. Hawthornfur stuck his tongue out in discuss. "Yeah let's go somewhere else. Maybe to the lightning struck pine tree?" Hawthornfur suggested.

The white-faced tom frowned and glanced over his shoulder, a worrisome expression etched into his features. As he rose to his paws and headed for the camp's exit, a smooth voice called out from behind him. "Ravenskull, wait up!" purred a younger looking she-cat.
She grinned happily, her tail held high behind her. "I'm coming too!" called the tom's apprentice.
Ravenskull shook his head and frowned. "No. There could still be other foxes out there, Finchpaw," he sighed, then turned and left quickly.
Finchpaw pouted, and as soon as he was out of earshot, grumbled and stalked grumpily off to the apprentice den. "He always leaves without telling me...!"

Duckpaw had been in a deep sleep when Finchpaw's grumbling woke the small ginger and white tom. He lifted his head and yawned. "Whats wrong Finchpaw." He questioned softly.

Finchpaw nearly jumped when she heard her good friend speak to her, not realizing she wasn't alone. Being the spitfire she was, the calico huffed and plopped down next to him. "Ravenskull keeps leaving, and he never lets me come! I'm his apprentice, he's supposed to train me. Not just disappear and make up excuses for me not to be there!" she complained, then groaned and buried her face in her forepaws. "He's such a warrior!"

Being half awake Duckpaw took a second to process what Finchpaw was mumbling about. "You could tell Sharpstar and he could talk to Ravenskull." Duckpaw said sleepily. "Or you could just follow him." He added. "He cant stop you." Duckpaw yawned softly. Duckpaws mentor Hollysnag had him up for a dawn patrol and Duckpaw wasn't a morning person at all.

The she-cat perked up a bit at the suggestion, a grin appearing on her face. "That's it, you're a genius Duckpaw!" she purred excitedly, her eyes bright. "Come on!" Finchpaw beamed, rising to her paws and walking towards the den's exit.

Duckpaw grumbled. "I said you, not me." But the small ginger and white tom pulled himself to his paws and followed his firend. "You know Sharpstar said all apprentice should be with a warrior when leaving the camp until the territory is fox free."

She gave him the warmest smile she could manage, then turned and pranced off towards the camp's exit. "Technically, Ravenskull will be with us," Finchpaw purred, then flicked his flank with her tail before dashing off.

Duckpaw sighed. "If we get in trouble again Hollysnag will have my tail!" Duckpaw glanced over to his stumped tail. "If i had a tail." He added as he followed Finchpaw out into the forest. "We have to be carful." He whispered.

(I just realized they all have bird names x3)
The calico nodded with a grin. "Of course! Besides, she'll have to go through me first," mumbled Finchpaw playfully before slowing down and sniffing the air a few times for her mentor's scent. The apprentice perked up as she caught his scent, then glanced around before continuing towards a couple of trees.

(XD same, it doesn't help that i have another apprentice named Vulturepaw)
Duckpaw chuckled. "Hollysnag should look out." He joked as they slowly make their way up towards the trees. In all honestly Duckpaw was scared of Ravenskull, he was a scary tom.

(I love that ) Finchpaw slowed down a bit, slightly nervous. Did she even want to know what the tom was up to out here? Or why he didn't let her come? She glanced over at Duckpaw, noticing he seemed on edge. "He can't do anything..." she reassured quietly, quickening her pace. As they neared the trees, the black and white tom was visible. He was alone, but seemed to be...talking to himself. "What's that about?" she thought aloud, though inaudibly as she hid behind a bush.

(Birds are the best though XD ) "We should just leave." Duckpaw mumbled. "We have all we want, Ravenskull is crazy but we already knew that." Duckpaw shivered slightly and crouched low to the ground. His bright ginger and white pelt didn't help him.

Finchpaw hesitated before glancing back at him with a frown. "Leave if you want, but I need to find out what he's up to..." she whispered, her eyes narrowing as she glanced back at her mentor.
(Would I be able to make a sibling for him? Probably one not part of the clans if that's alright?)

(I dont mind!) Duckpaw huffed. "Alright alright." He mumbled. "Lets get a closer look." He added softly. Duckpaw slowly stalked forward his long whiskers twitching with both fear and excitement.

(Thanks! I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a starter ) A shock of bright ginger fur bolted from between the trees at a frantic pace, tearing through the dense foliage noisily. The small she-cat was moving as fast as her grey paws could take her and her pale eyes darted left and right, looking for a place to hide from the horrible creature who'd chased her here. She wasn't even sure if it was still following her, but she didn't care to stop and investigate until she felt safe. Her fluffy grey tail stuck straight out with fear and was puffed out to look nearly twice it's actual size. Branches and thorns seemed to reach for her long pelt as she ran, snagging and ripping tufts of ginger and grey fur as she passed.

(Awesome, thank you!)
She beamed at him happily, then nodded in agreement and crept forward alongside the tom. Finchpaw tensed up when she heard another voice, then quickly shouldered Duckpaw as if to warn him. She didn't say anything, though, in fear of being caught. Another cat was now visible, one closely resembling Ravenskull.
The long-legged tom frowned, sitting down in front of the tree. "You can come down, there's no one here mouse brain," he huffed, rolling his eyes. At this, a lithe tom, slightly taller than Ravenskull lept from a low-hanging bough. "You're even talking like them now. What's happened to you, Ivor?" the newcomer grumbled.
Ravenskull lowered his head and mumbled. "That's not my name anymore, and you know that Ilivan-" he began, but was cut off from a scoff by Ilivan. "Pathetic, joining them out of fear. I'm sick of not seeing you! Father would've been disgusted..."

A small paragraph that sets the scene for another character to join.) "D-did you heart t-that?" Voleheart stuttered. Hollysnag looked up from the mouse she had been stalking, her ears flicking about. "Um no, your probably hearing things Voleheart now shush." Hollysnag whispered back to the brown tabby tom. Hollysnag leaped forward missing her mouse by a whiskers length. "Mouse dung." She hissed. Then suddenly BAM a ginger and gray she-cat ran right into the dark gray she-cat.

He was also tired and being confused and tired was a bad combination for Duckpaw and he about to bolt.

(Oh! Sorry, I'm uncultured swine ) The ginger she-cat gave a yowl of surprise as she collided with an unfamiliar cat. The scent of two felines filled her nostrils as she inhaled and she exhaled a long, terrified hiss as she collected her footing and crouched, ears pinned to her skull and eyes wide. She eyed the two cats before her warily, but kept casting glances behind them, where she'd just come from, fearing that the slobbering beast she was running from wouldn't be too far behind. There was no crashing of heavy paws to be heard anymore, though. Had she finally outrun it? Her eyes came back to the cats before her. Had she escaped one danger only to be met with more? "I-I don't want any trouble..." Her voice was hardly more than a chirp as she slowly eased away from the strange cats.

Finchpaw barely heard him, she was frozen and staring at the two darkly colored toms in a mixture of shock and confusion. Unable to do anything but let out a whimper of disbelief, she stumbled back a bit.
Ravenskull's eyes narrowed. "Leave it be. I chose my path and you chose yours. Got it?" he growled, then turned to leave. "You're being loud. If you get found, don't blame me. I won't be there to back you up..." hissed the warrior as he walked away with a disgusted look on his face.
Ilivan growled, but remained where he was. As he watched his brother leave, the tom heard a nearly inaudible- but loud enough to be heard- noise. His eyes widened, and he turned towards a bush. Upon this, the tom notices tufts of ginger, white, and black furs. "Hello?" he mumbled softly, approaching the bush. The newcomer, now closer to the pair of apprentices, seemed much younger than Ravenskull. Perhaps around an apprentice age, even.

He should have stayed in his nest and slept but no he had to come out with Finchpaw and now he was going to die.

Ilivan stopped in front of the bush, his eyes wide with curiosity and fear. He glanced around uneasily, then turned and bolted off as if to quickly get away.
Finchpaw lets out a sigh of relief, nearly falling over. "Thank Starclan!" she hisses, then plops on the ground and buries her face in her paws. "We need to go, now!" she whispered before clambering to her feet once again and glancing around in fear.

The she-cat's sides still heaved with the exhaustion of her run and her fur refused to lie flat, sticking out in wild tufts with forest debris deeply matted into her fine pelt. She cat before her stood proud and strong, and the intruder knew she didn't stand a chance if this cat decided to attack her. Luckily, the stranger cat's voice was calm. "I...y-yes." The small ginger rouge cast another glance behind the cats. "There was a pack of beasts. They chased us...they...they got my brother. I...I'm lost." She hated how small her voice sounded, but the shock of everything was slowly setting in it seemed. What had become of her brother? Had she really left him to die? Her heart ached and her head drooped with guilt.
