Ciel blinked, slowly closing his eyes as he listened. "Er, there's worst places to stay at?" The boy asked, opening his eyes again after a moment. "I'm not used to staying in anyplace like this...so...old and destroyed." He shrugged as he watched her. "Would you like help?"

(I think phone stuff is something I'll have Izaya check, if that's alright. He's very phone-based half the time. Sort of how he does his job as an info broker. Of course, Shiro and Sora can check their phones too. No reason that only ONE character should learn about the phone situation.
I'll be back in a couple hours.)

She shrugged, handing him some sticks. "Yeah, there are. At least here, its just us. There isn't anyone forcing you to do anything. The Ayakashi are smaller here, they burn more, but they'e smaller, easier to manage." She murmured, touching the blight on her arms. They hadn't cleared up with water. Some of it had, but not all of it, and it was still painful to touch. "Theres a place. Soma. Its filled with them. If your caught down there by the lady... Well, you can never leave," She let out a small laugh, sticking a skewer into the fire.

Ciel grabbed the sticks from her and he stood up again, heading back over toward the fire. He began to cook his portion of the rabbit. "That is very true. If there were more people, it would be a lot harder to gather supplies, even for tonight," he said, then looked up at her. "I've never heard of this place called Soma. I don't think I'd ever want to visit, either."

Ciel flipped the stick over to cook the other side as he sat there silently. He then glanced back at the other two, who seemed to be sleeping before back up at her. "Should we wake them so they know dinner is served?" He asked, yawning slightly as he looked back at the cooking meat.

She nodded, standing up. She walked towards her Shinki, who both stirred as she approached them. "Hey guys, foods ready," she said with a small smile. Her mind was in another place, another time, really. Akio blinked, studying his master for a moment, sensing something was wrong. He frowned at her, and she shook her head slightly. She would tell him later. Kikio let out a huge yawn, staring at the fire. "Is that squirrel?"

Izaya pushed against the desk, sending himself swiveling away from it. He was now turned around to face a large window, though it was nothing like the one in his office. Rather than the entire wall being made of glass, the wall was mostly concrete. The window took up about 4'×7' of the wall, which was still convenient enough for the info broker to stare out at the streets of Ikebukuro. Izaya hoisted himself out of the chair, standing up close to the window.
It wasn't morning, but rather sunset, from what the info broker could tell as the buildings around him darkened. Did I just nod off for 5 minutes? No, unlikely if I'm not in my office. I must have been asleep all day. Was I drugged and brought here? The shock of this theory wasn't nearly as alarming (which it really wasn't - many people wanted to take hold of the annoying info broker, and if anything, Izaya was pleasantly surprised that someone had managed to go through with it and succeed - oh, but it wouldn't be for long) as the fact that, below, the streets weren't all hussle-and-bussle. There were no people at all, in fact, none of the humans Izaya so cherished. Any trace of a smirk that may have been on Izaya's face completely disappeared. With no one around, it all looks so different. Is it even the same city?
Izaya leaned on the glass to take a closer look, his breath fogging up his view. No. It's not.

Ciel blinked and sat up, nodding at Kikio. "Yes, it is squirrel," he replied, gesturing to the sticks with the meat on them. "We've cooked it ourselves..." He stared at the stick in his hand, not really sure if he wanted to try the squirrel.
(what is the group spots Izaya or something?)

"Oh, yum!" Kikio grinned, grabbing a skewer and taking a chunk of meat off, popping it into her mouth. It tasted pretty good to her. "You know, Ciel, this is the only thing you have to eat tonight, so I would suggest trying it," Akio commented, taking one for himself. Miroka took the smallest one, wanting to make sure everyone else had enough to eat.

Ciel looked up at Akio, nodding. "Yes, I know. I just don't usually eat things like this," he muttered softly, taking a few pieces of meat of the skewer. He sat down by the fire as he slowly began to eat.

Ciel flashed Akio a glare, but didn't push the subject any farther. After a moment or two, the boy looked away and continued eating. "It's not bad," he commented.

Ciel looked up at her, soon finishing his own portion. He shrugged and scooted away from the fire and closer toward the wall, looking from side to side barely. He sighed and leaned back, taking off his hat and laying it on the ground. "I believe I'm going to retire for the night," he muttered.

(Yeah that's fine :3)
The boy opened his eyes and sat up slowly, stretching with a small yawn. He hadn't had the best night's sleep since he had slept on the ground. Ciel rose to his feet, looking around to make sure he hadn't woken anyone up before heading out the broken door.

Ciel didn't pause to look back at where he had come. He just continued through the empty streets, looked at what used to be stores and other places. Who knows, he might even find his butler in this place. "Sebastian, I've ordered you plenty to come. We still have a contract, correct?" He mumbled softly. He paused in front of a store window, putting a hand to his eyepatch.

(Yes he will be :3 I should probably add him lol)
After a few moments of standing there, Ciel finally decided to check if the contract was still there. He pulled off his eyepatch, leaning forward to look at the reflection of himself. He frowned when he noticed the seal was still on his eye. It made no sense; his butler wasn't following his orders. The boy looked away, taking a few steps backwards.

(Yes Bassie! <3 )
Ciel froze, staring down at the eyepatch he was now holding before up at Akio. "How rude, following a child around! Did you think I'd get lost?" He asked, tilting his head to one side. He sighed and took another step back. "Isn't it obvious why I wear it? It's to cover this. If you do not know what this mark on my eye is, it is a seal of a contract I made with a demon." He explained bluntly, not going too deeply into detail. He figured if that didn't satisfy Akio, he'd ask more questions.

Ciel shrugged, not taking his eyes off him. "Very well. Your group is rather smart for not trusting a newcomer," he muttered, completely ignoring what he said after that. But he payed attention to the question. "Ah yes, why would I do that you ask. Well, I was humiliated as a child, therefore I did this to get revenge on those who have burnt my house down and killed my parents. I was powerless, but now not so much," he explained, putting the eyepatch over his eye, quickly tying it. After that, he pushed past Akio, heading back toward the building they were staying in.

Kuro had followed through with Sora's plan, now finding himself trailing behind the siblings in his usual hunched-over position. The Servamp phased in and out of deep thought, from Mahiru's well-being to ramen noodles to Tsubaki to pillows. It wasn't too late into the night before Kuro glanced up, spotting the skyline of a city. At once, he lit up, jerk in up his head to sound the little bell on the string around his neck. However, he quickly realized that this wasn't Tokyo - it was too small for that. "Well, I think we've found what we're looking for," he noted submissively. "Why are we here again?" He really couldn't deal with trying to recall such small details. What a champ companion.

Ciel looked back at him with a shrug "I suppose you could say that," the boy replied, continuing forward. "Everyone feels that way whether they know that or not." He stared at the building they were staying at.
--
Sora and Shiro exchanged a glance before they stared at him. "Do you not know why we're here?" The older teen boy replied, shaking his head. "Hiw useless." Shiro blink, gently punching her stepbrothers arm. "Shut up," she muttered softly. "We are looking to see if there are any citizens. That way they can tell us where we are."
