Once again, Kuro was on his own. Even if the two siblings weren't far away, the servamp found himself sinking into his thoughts. His eyes were fixed on the stream, yet it was as if he was looking at something else. The realization suddenly hit him. This really might not be a dream...and I'm separated from Mahiru. That's not good. As if in a trance, Sleepy Ash stood up, claws dripping over the water. No, he hadnt caught anything, but a new concern began to boil inside of him. I have to go back, FAST. But how? Where am I? He frantically searched the area, the picture of disturbed.
(Hmm....let me know if anything ever seems off, okay?)

(My tablet deleted my reply...twice...) Fangirl Realist (alright I will! :3) Shirt had collected many things already and was setting everything on a rock. She glanced back, frowning as Se noticed the vampire hadn't gotten anything was was acting...strange. Since she had collected plenty of supplies, she decided to go help him. "Uh...Kuro?" She asked as she walked over to his side. "Everything alright? Need any help?" sweetclover1Ciel walked back to where they were to meet, holding a squirrel for each member of the group. He let out a sigh as he spotted his partner not too far ahead and he headed over, dipping his head slightly. "I believe we are ready to go back. This is all I can think of that e I'll need for the night."

(A tidbit you might not know that isn't a spoiler - a servamp and an eve can't be separated for more than 24 hours, or else the eve will die) How long was I napping earlier? When did I get here? When was I last with Mahiru? Antagonizing questions flowed through his mind, and Kuro noticed how his heartbeat quickened. It came to a halt with Shiro distracted him. For a moment, he just stared at her, eyes wide with anxiety. However, with a slow blink, Kuro appeared to have calmed down a bit, yet his voice shook ever so slightly when he told the girl, "We have to find a way back in less than 24 hours." Why are you so upset, Kuro? What does it even matter?

(Lol yeah I watched the episodes besides 7, I'll probably do that later xD
I love the rich kid and Licht.)
Shiro blinked at him, frowning slightly as she nervously pulled on her sleeve. The eleven year old wasn't sure what was so important that this guy had to get back to. She took a seat on a large stone beside the river, staring into the water with a shrug. "I don't know if we can make that happen. We are lost, though we will try," she paused, looking up at him. "What's so important that Kuro needs to get back to?"

Kuro didn't answer the girl right away, if at all. He just tilted his head away from Shiro, staring down towards the stream again. He knew they needed some kind of plan. He knew they needed to act. He knew that 24 hours could be enough time to return to his eve. However, the servamp had no pull. I can't deal with this. "We just have to," he answered, continuing to look away.

Shiro still wasn't sure what to say to try to comfort the vampire. It was obvious that she wasn't going to get anymore information out of him either. The girl snuck a quick glance back at her stepbrother, who already had quite the pile of wood. She nodded and stared back at Kuro. "Well whatever's so important, we will try our best to get you back to wherever you're from," she said softly.

(Okay. I'm kind of thinking that we should have our group head there, too. After all, everyone's meeting up at some point, right? Plus, it would make sense for our travelers to head to civilization to get an idea as to where they are.)

(Yeah that makes sense, though it's an abandoned city. We can just say that wherever Kuro's group is is close to the city the other group is in.)

(Anywhere you think they can hop in xD)
Ciel took the lead as he headed through out of the forest and toward the building the others were waiting st. He glanced back at her. "I suppose you also know how to make food?" He asked as he held the limp squirrels out in front of him.

(Yeah, I know the city is abandoned, but from a distance it may not appear that way at first. And yeah, that's what I was thinking. Did you have other thoughts?
I'm also going to place Izaya in the city in my next post.)

"Whatever would be easier for you and what you'll enjoy," Ciel muttered, looking away from the animals and back towards her. He hadn't had squirrel before, so he didn't know which one he'd like best anyway. He headed through where the door would've been and into the building, looking over at the other two.

In Ikebukuro, when you refer to an "info broker," at least half the public will understand exactly who you are talking about. Some will wince at the very word, some will fling a vending machine your direction, others might smirk knowingly. In Ikebukuro, many people knew Izaya Orihara. However, this morning, the man woke up to a city where no one could know of him, simply because there was no one to speak of. The whole city was vacant.
When Izaya had first woken up, bent forward in "his" swivel chair and sprawled across "his" large work desk, he'd thought nothing changed. With a smile, he stretched his arms far up behind his head and thought, Did I doze off at my desk again? Well, I feel rested. I always was a light sleeper. "Namie?" he called to his assistant. "Would you get me a coffee?"
Izaya had expected a monotone refusal, something along the lines of "Can't you do that yourself?" He at LEAST expected a grunt from the woman, but he was met with the silent treatment. However, looking around the room, the info broker noted that this wasn't his office. It was a lot smaller. No library wall. No TV or long couch. No dullahan head or gameboard. "Namie?" he tried again, though he didn't expect an answer this time around.
Izaya was confused...what had happened to him? Where was he? With a smirk, he wondered, My, my. Did someone get the upper hand with me last night?

"What about you?" Kuro asked considerately, though his tone was as mellow as usual. "Aren't you returning somewhere?" He didn't see how he could help with that - too much of a bother. But, if somehow it meant he could get back to Mahiru faster, he'd at least listen.
(It can be either Shiro or Sora's idea to head to the city. I don't see how I can make Kuro suggest it, since he isn't really a planner. He let's others figure out the answers because it's too much for him to deal with)

"Huh? Us...we're just trying to find our way back to Tokyo, Japan," Shiro replied, tilting her head to one side as she watched him carefully. "Though, I just live with Sora, so I don't care when we get back. We can help you out." She stood back to her feet, brushing off her skirt. "I think you're done fishing. We can wuickly eat the fruits and veggies I have gathered before continuing on, if you're fine with that."

Kuro lit up as much as he could light up, with the lift of his eyebrows and a slight expansion of his eyes. "Tokyo. That's where I'm headed, too," he explained softly. Since they all shared the same goal, the way back had potential to be quick. Are other people from Tokyo here? "When did the two of you get here?" I'm beginning to sound like my eve with all these questions. It's too much.
(Since there's not much to rp atm, maybe after one of your charries suggests heading towards civilization, we can just poof there, skip the whole journeying part unless you have ideas)

(In this city, should all needs be mysteriously provided for? Like, there's fresh food, cellular service that reaches only a 5 mile radius [not a need, but...], etc? Or is it just completely vacant and the characters have to learn how to provide for themselves?)

Miroka nodded, before glancing at her two Shinki. Both Akio and Miroka where fast asleep, heads against each other. As the god stepped foot into the building, Akio stirred for a moment, before he saw who it was, and closed his eyes again. She smiled for a moment, before walking over to him and grabbing a knife from a pocket in his jacket. She glanced at the boy, "could you handle starting the fire while I skin the squirrel?" She inquired, not trying to sound condescending.

(I mean, yeah if tephehe look hard enough, I guess there could be thhings like that. I know ciel doesn't have a phone , so he can't check. However Shiro and Sora do. That's probably what they'll check. And yeah there is also food supplies in stores and such.)
"Before we ran into you. We were laying in a random clearing," she said, lookig over at him. "And you're also going to Tokyo? This might be easier than expected." She turned her head back toward her brother as he walked up. "Guys, I think we should just continue and try to find a building or something to stay in. The firewood is all wet and we don't have many supplies," Sora said. Shirt nodded. "Ok."
--
"Huh? Me? Y-yes, it can't be that hard," Ciel muttered, setting the squirrels down before going off to collect some wood, which wasn't so hard since there were boards all over the place.

Ciel blinked over at them, then continued making s little firepit. He quickly piled wood, paper, and whatever else he could find into it. He paused for a moment, looking over at Akio. "Old times? Have you all done this before?" He guessed, now using rocks and sticks to get the fire started.

(Just one more post broken XD XD ) Miroka paused, setting the meat on a sheet of paper she found. She smiled softly, nostalgia filling her eyes. For a moment, she truly looked like she was truly an ancient spirit. "In a sense. You see, there are major gods and minor gods, and sometimes us minor gods don't have shrines. If we don't have shrines, we're homeless. For centuries we wandered, camping out in abandoned areas for the night. It was just me, Akio, and... Ah, me and Akio," She said quickly, a hint of sadness flashing in her eyes.

Ciel looked over his shoulder at them, not paying any attention to the stick he was rubbing against the rock, which began smoking. "Really? You go camping?" He asked, trying his best not to complain about how horrible the conditions were. "Was it in an abandoned building like this...or somewhere in the woods?" He noticed her sadness and shook his head, looking back at the fire pit. "You don't need to tell me."

She smiled, a hint of gloom still on her face. "No, it's fine, it's not that. We stayed wherever we could, more often than not in abandoned Shrines for other deities, sometimes in the woods, sleeping in trees. It wasn't that bad, really," She told him, finishing the last squirrel. She began to cut the meat into strips, thinking of how different life was back then. She was a god of calamity, bringing chaos and destruction wherever her followers wished her too.

"You say that's not bad?" Ciel asked softly, finally getting the fire started. He backed away some as the flame grew. Barely grinning with satisfaction, he turned back towards them. "It is ready whenever you are finished," he announced, his gaze dropping to the floor as he frowned. The boy slowly headed away from where he had started the fire and sat down.
