{{ sounds good! Here's a quick little starter. }}
Vipershade had already been awake for a while, though he has been quite unproductive. Lazying about in clan was one of his favorite activities, and he watched the clan wake up one by one. Unlike many others, he hardly got bored watching the camp come alive with cats, nor did he mind watching the clan go about their daily tasks. All this meant he could learn about each and every cat without actually having to speak to them. And if they thought he was weird, he paid no mind. Others' thoughts on him didn't concern him. As he swallowed, he noticed a lump in his throat and swiftly headed to the stream that ran through camp. Bending over, he took a couple laps of the refreshing, cool water. The fresh-kill pile nearby made his mouth water, and he debated grabbing a piece for himself. Ultimately he decided against it, noting that all the pieces would be from yesterday. Only warm prey satisfied his hungry belly, so he'd wait until the first hunting party came back with fresh pickings. He could go hunting himself, but he didn't really feel like going alone. And he wouldn't approach a clan mate unless he felt it would benefit him. And right now, he could just wait until the fresh prey came to him. He'd go hunting later in the day to make up for it, he decided. He settled down by the stream, gazing into the water, seemingly lost in thought.

Charredkit, Handsome and large by the standards of most cats his age, he is muscular but set on a slender yet tall frame as opposed to the average cat of AshClan, he carries a thick coat of midnight black. But gains his name from the rich reddish brown undercoat he carries, giving his fur the appearance of something beginning to burn, and his eyes are lit with a pale yellow standing out against the darkness of the rest of his coat. Independent and quiet, this tom would much rather keep himself to himself then he would make trouble with the rest of his litter. He is gifted with a maturity beyond his age, but it leaves him isolated at times, and whilst he tries not to show it, things get to him more than he lets show. He is protective of his smaller siblings, and has a loyalty most would be hard cut to break. @stormpetal

Galewind woke with a start, feeling the ache in his jaws from clamping down his teeth while he slept, fangs digging into the sides of his tongue. Images of the fight from when his leg was maimed flashed in front of his eyes, and he fought to calm his breathing without visibly looking as panicked as he felt, the sound of his heart thumping wildly in his ears. Like always, he still felt like he hadn't slept, and rubbed the exhaustion out of his eyes with a paw, schooling his expression and then putting on the attitude of the day. Sunshine and rainbows, like always. He had to look stronger than he felt, or he really would just be a lame cat.
The soft grey tom clambered out of his nest, standing awkwardly on his legs, and quickly shook out his sleep-tangled fur. He regarded the old fresh-kill pile for a moment with blurry eyes, and decided he would rather go hunt for something new, since the camp already felt like it was closing in on him. His pelt itched for the feel of the wind and open air. Galewind forced a light smile and approached the first cat he saw alone, who happened to be Vipershade.
"Good morning, Vipershade." He meowed cheerfully as he limped towards the dark brown tabby, waving his long tail. "It's a beautiful day for hunting, isn't it? Maybe you'd like to join me, we could go to Dying Trees and catch some mice."

When the limping warrior padded up to him, Vipershade wanted to hiss in frustration. Mouse-dung! How was he supposed to reject his hunting offer without getting suspicious glares from the rest of the clan? His voice had drawn attention, not too much, just a couple glances, but enough where they knew that if he was still in camp in a few moments, he was being lazy. There was no way he could be seen in camp the next little while, and he especially wouldn't be able to take anything from the fresh-kill pile before they saw him return with prey. Well, it looked like he was going to have to go hunting after all. "I guess I better make myself useful." He meowed. It was easy to tell in his voice that he would've said no if he could, but knew he had to. "But don't complain to me when I bring back twice as much prey as you." He challenged, his ego starting to come through. He stood up and shook out his pelt, sending a bit of moss flying past Galewind. He flexed his claws as he stretched and yawned, preparing his legs for the journey. "Ready to go?"

Dawnstar » Camp, ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 ~Skyblaze~ ʙᴜᴍʙʟᴇʙᴇᴇ » At the familiar voice of the younger queen, the leader turned her head to look at Brightmoss, her dark ears twitched forward and uncertainty sparked through her veins. Suddenly she found herself sympathising with the queen, knowing now that soon enough she would be in the exact same situation. Fighting the urge to wrap her tail around her side, a protective instinct but she managed to fight it as she shook her head. "Are you sure, Brightmoss?" Dawnstar questioned with a kind but firm tone of voice, realising that had she been in the queen's situation she probably wouldn't have wanted to go out of camp so heavy with a litter. "Is it the best idea, considering your... condition?".
(sorry Sky, must have missed)
(No worries!) "I'll be fine." Brightmoss meowed, unable to keep the hint of exasperation out of her voice. Ever since she had found out she was pregnant, everyone had been treating her as if she were a kit herself. "If I don't get some air, I'm going to go crazy." She mewed with a chuckle. "Besides, I'll have the dependable leader and deputy with me, so I'm not worried!" She said cheerily, waving her tail as she padded up to join them. As much as she appreciated her leader's concern, she wanted to get out of camp one last time before she would have to stay at the nursery full time. (Anyone still want a kit? Cause Bright's gonna be kitting veeeery soon )

(in bed, so no more fancy coding till morning unfortunately)
Still a tone of uncertainty glittered in her mismatched gaze, but she said nothing to further pry or prod. Aiming to treat the queen as she would have wished to been treated were she in the same place, which soon enough she was going to be. “Fine,” she relented with a dip of her slender head. But she soon added with a low rumbling chuckle, “Me maybe, but I wouldn’t go as far as to call Stormfrost dependable,” her purr was more playful than she had sounded in moons. Anyone paying close enough attention to their leader would likely sense the difference.

"Don't let him catch you saying that." Brightmoss replied with a purr of amusement, padding beside her leader. She caught side of Boulderflame just as they were leaving camp, and she waved her tail in goodbye. I'll be back by sunhigh." She meowed, before adding jokingly, "You may be a father before I return, though." The queen relaxed as the camp finally gave way to the rain, feeling the droplets coursing through her short tortoiseshell fur. "This does feel quite good." She meowed appreciatively. (Imma wait for anyone else to claim a kit first before I make one And yes he's great! )

Galewind ducked out of the way reflexively as Vipershade shook out his fur carelessly, barely avoiding that one scrap of moss. He blinked at the larger warrior's challenging tone, and smirked, his eyes still dull and tired. "We'll see about that." He replied lightly, rolling the shoulder of his lame limb and stretching the rest individually; if this was going to be a competition, he might as well play along. That type of nature to want to win had long left him, but that didn't mean he wouldn't try anymore. At his question, he nodded and began to walk ahead to lead the way out of camp, avoiding putting weight on his old injury and instead doing some sort of half-skip to go quickly, eager to get out into the forest. When they were past the thicket walls protecting them, Galewind broke into a stilted sprint, pausing at every large root or foot obstacle to step over, and to briefly nurse his leg. He looked silly and he knew it, as he swiveled around to try and walk backwards so he could say something to Vipershade, waving his tail again. "How much are you willing to give to say that you'll catch more mice than me?" He stuttered on the last word, almost tripping on a bush. "I'm going to bet that I'll catch at least three."

A scoff escaped the dark toms lips at Galewind's confidence. He actually thought he had a slight chance? He followed the tom, growing increasingly frustrated at every time they had to pause because of his injury. He began to wonder why he wasn't in the elders den already, or finding some other way to help the clan. Surely he would be more useful elsewhere? With a roll of his eyes, he padded on, getting more and more eager to be back in camp again. Despite what he thought of the tom, Galewind was no exception to Vipershade's watchful eyes. He'd seen his body language around his clan mates, body language that others may not have noticed. He suspected the tom had an act to put on, he wasn't sure why, as even though he could read body language, he couldn't read minds. The tom often left camp alone, and one time Vipershade even attempted to follow him. But the wind hadn't been on his side so he decided to go back before getting caught. He hadn't spent too much time observing this particular cat, but he had seen just enough to notice that he probably only acted a certain way to hide something. Whether it was a secret, or if his loyalties were somewhere else, or something Vipershade wouldn't be able to guess, he had no idea. Should he say something about it? Vipershade wasn't one to be afraid of confrontation, or of embarrassing himself, but how would he bring it up in conversation? Should he bring it up? He kept repeating that same question for a few moments. He had been lost in thought, and his hunting partner's voice brought him back. He only heard a bit, something about a bet or something. "I'm going to get at least five. As usual." He meowed gruffly, confidence lacing his tone of voice. "I'm one of the best hunters in the clan, remember." He reminded the grey warrior, although that was just a blatant lie. But he silently dared him to argue, and that'd only give Vipershade incentive to hunt even more. He hadn't wanted to go hunting in the first place, but his desire to show off and prove himself right was stronger than any amount of laziness in his body.

Only feigning his amusement a little, this time he nimbly avoiding some tree roots before replying, the underbrush growing sparser as they neared the dead area. "Sure, besides maybe, Hollowshade." Galewind guessed, throwing a name in there based on his assumptions. "Though, you might fall behind Noonheart on my list!" Without waiting for a response from the tabby tom, he stumbled ahead again, soon enough feeling the soft plushness of ash covered ground against his pads. That remark was surely going to get a snide response, but it was how he was supposed to act. In reality, he didn't know much about her other than that the warrior disliked her, she was probably a nice she-cat. The curly tom finally slowed to a halt beside Vipershade, sniffing the air for the scent of prey, and feeling thankful that they were standing upwind. He could hear the faintest scuttling of a small animal somewhere, unaware of the hunters' presence.

b r e e z e w h i s k e r & d o e s p r i n g [ ashclan camp ] Ignoring the look she was given, Doespring only sweetly looked at her leader. Brightmoss then padded up and asked to join. The medicine cat eyed the she-cat's belly. Doespring sighed in aggravation. She looked at the two expecting she-cats. Despite the annoyance, the queen gave her a chance to leave camp and actually do something similar to a warrior. Twigpaw could sort herbs by himself. Her gaze softened and she looked at the group of cats. "If Brightmoss is going, I should go. She's close to kitting and I don't want to pad on any toes by denying her a walk. Besides, being trapped in camp must be rather boring." she mewed with a sympathetic look towards the queen.
"Stupid mouse-brains." Doespring hissed into the abyss of her mind. "What if she kits in the damn forest?!" The medicine cat only kept the outer shell of herself warm and inviting as she mentally rambled away various insults at her Clanmates. She glanced at the medicine cat den, hoping her dear apprentice wouldn't bound out. She had to keep an eye on him, if she didn't, he may feed the taunting apprentices deathberries. "Not like that would bother me much.. Less cats to worry about.." she thought grimly. Oof, if her Clan knew how she really thought, no one would trust her within a distance of two fox-leaps.
Breezewhisker had seen the look his mate gave the medicine cat and not wanting to jump to conclusions, he simply shot the same look at her. "I get she's medicine cat, but why is she suddenly challenging Dawnstar?" he wondered while cocking his head slightly to the left. His green gaze narrowed at the medicine cat, and only narrowed further after her request to join. Something was up and for once his warrior instincts kicked in. He pushed softly against his mate once more.
He listened to the conversation and eased a bit when he heard Dawnstar's playful comment about Stormfrost. He looked at Brightmoss, concern flashing in his eyes. She was carrying the future of the Clan and he felt a might need to protect her and the kits that were in her belly. He chimed in as politely as he could. "I can walk with you, Brightmoss, if Dawnstar doesn't mind." the gray tabby offered with soft eyes. In a way, he envied her and Boulderflame. He wanted kits of his own, but with Dawnstar being leader, that was rather difficult. He had brought up several times, probably annoying her. Guilt gnawed at his heart. "I'm being selfish about it.." Breezewhisker thought as his tail flickered and quivered.
Turning to Dawnstar, he gave her a warm expression, his eyes shining. "One day, when you're ready." he thought. "We're both still young and you have to adjust to peace. I'll support you no matter what." Breezewhisker added to his thoughts. With a small nod to himself, he decided to hold back from bringing up the topic. He'd wait for her to mention the idea of a family and when that happened, he'd be so ecstatic. He'd probably be able to leap from tree to tree with joy. And then that joyful thought popped when he remembered he wasn't alone and practically staring at his mate with a weird lovey dovey look with no context. Yeah, good job Breezewhisker.
Standing at attention, straight up, he swiveled his head forward and had his wide green eyes looking above Doespring's head. Of course, he noticed the look of concern on her face as she probably, and quite accurately, judged him for being such a weird tom. Honestly, a strong warrior like Dawnstar being with a tom that was so awkward and spacey? Must be the broad shoulders. [ When you really get into it..]

» I redid his form because I really wanna RP him <3 Let me know if it's not acceptable. Also, ~Skyblaze~ plagυe docтor is it okay if my cats are related to yours? I wasn't sure if you guys saw that I claimed Maplepaw for Seeedwhisker and Smokecedar for Stormfrost. Just lemme know! «
Seedwhisker, A slim, gray tortoiseshell tom with small, faint pale ginger patches along his ears, tail, and right foreleg, as well as a particularly distinct one around his right eye. His legs are slightly longer than the average cat, but it isn't very noticeable beneath his long, thin coat. His fur is not as thick as his clanmates' furs, making leaf-bare an insufferable season for the poor tom to get through without becoming ill. Along with his thinner figure and slightly lighter coat than the average AshClan cat, life within the Clan is not pleasant for him at all. Since a very young age, the warrior has been oddly aware of his disadvantage. He's intelligent and self-aware, understanding that he can't do what his clanmates can and being accepting of it (although a little begrudged). He has moments of envy when he sees couples snuggling together with their kits, knowing he can't have any of his own, and finds himself glaring at patrols returning home from bountiful hunts with prey he'll never be able to catch, but none of these negative feeling have been strong enough to impact his good heart. Having the fur coat of his sort has made socializing rather annoying, as cats who aren't familiar with him sometimes mistake him as a she-cat. Therefore, he keeps socializing to a bare minimum, mostly sticking to his own company when there isn't much to be done. He finds himself oddly drawn towards the medicine den, wanting nothing more than to be inside, sorting herbs and healing his clanmates. He feels a strange drawing towards medicine, as if he was born to heal. It seems to be one of the few things the tom may actually be able to accomplish on his own. However, his obsessiveness can become irritating to the clan's true medicine cats, and it isn't uncommon for him to be banned from the den for days at a time for sticking his nose too deeply into where it doesn't belong. Regardless, he is kind by nature, finding peace and happiness in the prospect of healing his clanmates and providing comfort and reassurance to their sick bodies and minds, even if he isn't certified to do such. The young tom is still full of integrity and strongly discourages lying and of the sort. He has a strong distaste for manipulative and deceitful cats and will never hesitate to voice such. He perceives himself to be a realist and will never hide the truth from any of his clanmates. If it is bad news he needs to deliver, then it is bad news he will tell, but will be there in the aftermath to comfort any cat the truth may hurt. His history with his family is rather convoluted, for he does not communicate much with his father and his father's side of the family, especially after his mother's passing. Aɪʀ

Dawnstar » Camp, ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 ~Skyblaze~ ʙᴜᴍʙʟᴇʙᴇᴇ » Gratitude lit her heart at her mate's defensiveness, she brushed her nose across his shoulder in a thankful manner but said nothing further. Eyes fixed on the medicine cat for a brief second, as though daring the shecat to bring it up but she kept it all non verbal. Worried she herself would give something away if she kept it up, it would be no good to give her clanmates the impression that their leader and medicine cat were feuding, not so soon into peace. Realising her mate had spoken, the charcoal queen nodded her head and said, "Thankyou, Breezewhisker, that would be appreciated." She replied, too busy in her own mind to really notice to fawning look he had given her. She further explained in a thoughtful manner, banishing any tone of worry from her voice as best as she could, "Sky Watcher's Peak isn't too far any way, it'll be a good opportunity to stretch our paws and find some prey." She decided, brushing her long tail across Brightmoss' shoulder pointedly, she struggled to imagine what could possibly happen. With a leader, a deputy and a medicine cat as well as a pair of strong warriors at their side.
A purr admittedly tugged from her lips at Breezewhisker brushing pelts with her, and she appreciated the kind gesture, the tom was her rock as she tried to adjust back to normal clan life again. They had been through so much together despite their young age, and she truly couldn't imagine loving anything else more. Casting a sly glance at what was a very small swell of her stomach, a thought crossed her which hadn't before, will I love them more, the idea made her ears grow warm and a slight smile cross her dark furred face.
Pulling herself back from the melancholy state that she had found herself in, realising she too had probably looked rather stupid for a moment. She straightened, battle scarred body aching under the movement but she didn't flinch. The ache and pain of old wounds had become a part of every day life for the leader, as young as she might have been, she bore the wounds and frame of a battle worn warrior. Problems would likely follow her into old age, but she let few others in on the fact of how truly they hurt her. "Lets go," she decided firmly.

» I think Emberpetal and Smokecedar could be an interesting combination! «
Within the thickets of the warrior's den stood Smokecedar, his blue eyes rested upon the small gathering of cats in the clearing. He'd been watching for a while, silently picking apart body language to come to his own conclusion about what was happening. It was a bit difficult to read his brother's lips from such a distance, but after many heartbeats of trying, the tom simply concluded that the information his brother was providing to the others simply wasn't worth straining over. His leader seemed too preoccupied in her mate to be astonished by what Stormfrost had to say, which meant that whatever it was could wait to be learned from idle gossip later on.
From the looks of things, it appeared as if a patrol would be moving out soon. Smokecedar found himself desiring to take part in it, but his body remained frigid and stuck at the den's entrance. As opposed to sitting, the tom simply stood there, out of the way enough as to not entirely block any cat from exiting or entering, but still definitely close enough to touch fur with any cat who passed by.
His figure resembled a statue, frozen in place without a noticeable breath escaping his ribcage. Only the tip of his tail dared to move, twitching ever so slightly from side to side as he listened in on his clanmates' bantering. There were a few nests around him still occupied by sleeping cats, and it wouldn't be much of a surprise if he accidentally gave one of them a heart attack if they so happened to open their eyes at that moment. He was a tall and intimidating shadow standing awkwardly at the den's entrance; who wouldn't bristle at the sight of him upon awakening?
His eyes continued to roam the camp, watching cats emerge from their dens and greet one another. The rain drizzled onwards, providing a calming ambience for the stoic tom to enjoy as he observed. His mind began to reel with options, wondering if he should assist in the patrol or take one out of his own. Would he be allowed? No way could his brother complain about him bringing back prey for the clan, surely?
He watched onward in silence as he thought, becoming an obstacle for any easily intimidated cat to get pass.

T W I G P A W [ medicine den & open for anyone ] Cobwebs. Comfrey. Berries. Check. Check. Check. With paws aching from checking the stores all morning, Twigpaw let out an exasperated sigh. Doespring had put him up to this. It was one of the most brining jobs in the medicine cat field, but he knew it had to be done. The medicine cat apprentice mumbled under his breath a few choice words over the job, but it didn’t matter. ”We need more Tansy..” he mumbled softly. The tom slowly got off his haunches and stood, shaking his feathery pelt free of clinging moss.
Where had Doespring run off too? He knew she didn’t like him very much as she didn’t like being medicine cat, but he still needed a mentor. He wasn’t ready to be on his own yet. Heck, he didn’t even have his full medicine cat name yet. He wasn’t old enough. Which sucked.
Twigpaw decided he probably should stop thinking about that. He had to find Doespring to tell her they needed more Tansy. He didn’t think running out of camp to go find some was the best idea. His mentor should know where he’s going, right?
The feathered tom let his stick thin body slink out of the medicine den, his wide amber eyes searching for his teacher. Where was she? With Dawnstar? He didn’t want to intrude on anyone. He knew he wasn’t really allowed in the meetings between Doespring, Dawnstar, and Stormfrost. He was an apprentice, not old enough to know all the important details of the meetings. He wouldn’t be much help.
”Well.. if she’s not here, then I can just go out and fetch the Tansy, right?” he spoke to himself, which he did a lot.
Shrugging his thin shoulders, he proceeded to head over to the camp enterance. Twigpaw was old enough to head out. His mentality of his mentor knowing where he was going was still there, but she was busy.

Thrushflight, This gray-brown tom has the build of a fighter. He has broad shoulders, a long tail allowing him to balance with ease, and wide, powerful paws perfect for swipes and blows. His pelt has an unusually fluffy appearance, which completely ruins his intimidating figure when it’s hidden under soft fur. His pale green eyes are set into a broad, square shaped face. A darker gray stripe runs down his spine and marks his shoulders. While the tom looks like a fighter, his personality is really the opposite. Perhaps his most noticeable personality trait is his gentleness. Verbal arguments aren’t his thing, and he will most often attempt to divert the conversation to something else. Thrushflight seems sensitive, and the smallest criticism will be taken seriously by the large tom. He’s much rather follow rules than break them, as specific instructions mean he doesn’t need to plan on his own accord, but at least he’s not fickle. Even though he was built for battle, he hates it, and the only thing keeping him fighting is the fact that he’s protecting others. He tends to be rather spontaneous, which can benefit in a situation where quick-thinking is necessary, although he isn’t the most logical and intelligent cat and depends on his instinct. Thrushflight is very determined, as failure is something he’d much rather avoid. As an apprentice, he was encouraged by his father to train harder in order to be the best, and failure wasn’t taken lightly. He still remember’s his father’s words, and it’s normal for the tom to expect the best from himself, although he really did resent his father and his strict methods. He does recognize that his father did shape his personality, and indeed helped him to become a better warrior. Stormwing
Warrior Open to a mate and kits StarClan Ally
Fleetpaw, Fleetpaw is of an average AshClan build, though his legs are longer, setting him at a disadvantage when sheer power and strength is needed in battles. He does use this to his advantage though, as his long legs are better suited for endurance, not keeping him grounded. His fur, often kept messy as he believes that grooming isn’t essential, is primarily a rich dark brown color, although black can be spotted throughout his coat, like the ticked tabby pattern. His tail and legs are black, which earned him his name- it appears as though he’s just waded through a creek. His almond-shaped eyes are a pale yellow-orange color. The tom is always up for socializing, displaying an amiable nature, although it isn’t always appreciated and one thing this tom lacks is charisma. He attempts to make conversation with even the most antisocial cats, and isn’t the best and understanding when they need to be left alone. Similarly, he’s awfully adventurous and perhaps mischievous, but his fear of disappointing others keeps him grounded in most circumstances, making him rely on dreaming. This fear stems from his easily trusting nature, naivete, and his constant desire to impress others. He prefers to combat his natural curiosity with actual experience, preferring to solve his own problems instead of asking questions. It helps him gain a much better understanding of things. It’s uncommon to find the tom angry, as he doesn’t express his anger or sadness very strongly; he does, however, express his happiness. He’s very optimistic, and hopeful for AshClan’s future. Apprentice Open to kin StarClan Ally, could be changed depending on his mentor’s opinions
Foxstep, Foxstep is a russet tabby she-cat with medium length fur. She has bright emerald-green eyes, which she considers her favorite trait. Her ears and tail are both fluffy, and both are tipped with white. Foxstep is a rather self-reliant cat. Because of this, she tends to work horribly in a team situation considering she tries to take charge most of the time. This has frustrated Clanmates before, and she often doesn’t realize until it’s complained about. She doesn’t mean to show so much independence- it’s in her nature, and is easily offended when this is brought up. Because of her independence, Foxstep tends to treat those in higher positions as if she would treat any other warrior, something she had been constantly scolded for as an apprentice. Even so, she has her loyalties and opinions set, which are unshakable to her. While the warrior was named for her russet, foxlike pelt, the prefix rather suits her cunning and crafty personality. Intelligent would be a word to describe her, and it’s very easy for her to be lost in thought. The tabby can be sarcastic when talking to other cats, but actually enjoys conversation as it gives her a chance to understand and interpret others. She truly wants someone who can truly understand her, although she is generally perceived as antisocial and dark. That’s why she has a soft spot for kits- they don’t judge. She wants kits of her own, but most Clanmates don’t realize this side of the she-cat’s personality. Stormwing
Warrior Open Watch the Stars Burn; Dark Forest Ally
((alana - only if you’re willing- what do you think about Fleetpaw and Twigpaw as brothers? They have similar appearances and I think it would give Twigpaw someone to trust and Fleetpaw someone to keep him sane ))

man, all these cats makes me want to make another one, an apprentice! i saw one of storm's old clans, with the leader Shatteredstar, i believe and the way you described her just inspired me so much like she sounded so beautiful @stormpetal and i've been trying to decide which cat of mine would be a dark forest ally... }

(welcome stormwing but there is a slight issue, the battles were two seasons ago, so your apprentice either wouldn’t have been born or would have been very young?)
