Chaos might have doEvery part of our day to day lives has adapted to survive the world which woulrwise see us dead and the clan destroyed.
It might have taken many moons, and more deaths than most of us would wish to count, but after seasons of warfare, the light won and the darkness was banished to the shadows where it belongs.
Two seasons have passed since the chaos released its grip from our homes, and the clan are only just beginning to grow used to a life of peace which evaded them for so long. Warriors now thrill kits with the stories of their fights fo for their lives, a memory which now seems little more than a distant dream.
But our peace doesn’t seem like it ever intended to last, ad the darkness is beginning to drive its claws back into the clan, this time having learned the lessons they failed before, and intent on the fact that if they cant have the clan for themselves this time, the clan will be destroyed.
After having spent m ugh of your life in warfare, will you do everything you can to keep it? Or will you at last admit defeat and join the chaos which has so long called your name?
1. Forum Rules; any and all rules enforced on the forums are to be followed on this thread without exception. 2. Activity; due to the complex nature of the plot for this clan, to help it keep rolling somewhat smoothly I ask that you be on a minimum of 3 days a week to roleplay, and for those who wish to join as a role key to the plot or clan, that you be on and roleplaying for 5 days a week. 3. Literacy; in order to be a member of this clan you must be capable of achieving an absolute minimum of four lines per character per post, and one liners aren’t going to fly here. Whilst I understand low muses, its really not that difficult of a standard to reach. For those intending to join as a role key to the clan or plot, please be willing to exceed this. 4. Joining; on initial joining please do so with a minimum of two characters, one of each gender to help keep numbers even. There is no limit on the number of characters you may have, but please join only as the number you feel able to maintain reasonably. You may have one apprentices for every two cats of other ranks you have, and for every three characters you create please have one of them be a dark forest ally so its not an entirely one sided fight. So I know you have read the rules, please add Watch the Stars Burn somewhere to your form. 5. Characters; as with humans, our characters must be three dimensional, meaning that they have both flaws and strengths, hence I request that you add these to the cats you make. LGBT+ cats are entirely welcome, however, cats who have backgrounds as kittypets, rogues, loners, etc. Are not allowed in the roleplay. 6. Plagiarism; unfortunately of recent I have been the victim of having coding plagiarised and stolen, and hence I now feel the need to add this rule. Theft of anything found within this thread without permission is not allowed. All the phrasing’s and ideas are my own, and I will not tolerate them being stolen word for word. 7. Bloodlines; an additional rule of mine which I tend to add, as this clan is intended to be a long established clan it is to be expected that there are family lines within the clan, and not just a load of unrelated random cats. As a result, I request that where your cats share traits with those of another members, you ask if they can be related in some manner. The same principle goes for mates, whilst I wont force it, doing so would be much appreciated. 8. Drama; those who have roleplayed with me before will likely be very aware of my affinity to all things dramatic. I love it and it is the reason I roleplay, for this reason I encourage to make a such of it as you like. As long as it doesn’t directly conflict with the main plot, you need not ask permission for border skirmishes, forbidden romances, etc. All I do ask is that you try to involve as many other members as you can.
Name, Please write a paragraph depicting each of your cats, inclusive of their appearances and personality, and where relevant some of their history. Please make sure it is a minimum of 6 lines long and includes both flaws and strengths. Screenname

AshClan is an ancient Clan, hence its members have long adapted to best survive the world surrounding them. Our cats for the most part are larger in frame, set in muscular bodies made for fighting and stamina, athletic and strong builds are the most beneficial to our cats, and more slender and lean frames aren’t as necessary in our environment. Due to the regular rainfall which often batters our homes, our cats carry thick coats to protect them against the biting winds even during the moons of Greenleaf as well as Leafbare. As to blend in with the largely dark environment which surrounds us, the colours most common for our cats to carry are russet reds, greys, browns blacks and varieties of said colours. Tabby markings are most common, as to help when it comes to blending in with the foliage of our homes. Cats of AshClan are naturally of the very protective and defensive type, having long lived a life of warfare, most are determined to do what is necessary to keep the peace. Not the best when it comes to adapting to change, but will do everything in their power to keep their loved ones and those who hold their loyalty safe. However, in their aim to do this cats tend to vary in their beliefs, for their loyalties keep them tied to the side which they believe to give the best option to keep their loves ones safe. As of yet it is uncertain as to whether this will be a good thing or a bad thing as life contiues to change and adapt around us.
Crafting themselves a home in an otherwise rather uninhabitable place, AshClan’s home spans a large forest. Once upon a time before the clan came to live here, the forest had been subject to a great fire which saw it ruined. The Clan came to it in this way, and managed to survive long enough to see the forest return to the bloom and beauty which it stands as to this day.
Cherry Blossom Lake; one of the only open spaces aside from the borders is the lake found at the heart of our territory, taking its name for the group of trees bordering its western side, it is a good place for fishing and enjoying the sun.
Dying Trees; one of the remnants of the fire in which the clans found their home, it is a group of trees which even in the many seasons since the fire have yet to heal. They are long dead, but are home to mice and birds which hide in the ash, showing the clan that even in the greatest of hardship, life finds a way to survive.
Herb Garden; connected to the twoleg nest is a strange small field, in which the medicine cat may find herbs. But they only tend to use it in times f desperate need, for it means coming into close contact with the twoleg living beside it.
Lonely Oak; it is assumed that the reason that this ok tree stands by itself in the woods is due to the fire, but it is uncertain as to if this is the trut for it bears no scars of the fire which destroyed so much of everything else. It is a massive and ancient oak tree, older even than the clan who lives in its home. In its roots on will find the StarStone.
Monster Camp; the one border which is not made up of moorland is a strange and revolting place where twolegs monsters go to sleep. The cats don’t know the meaning of this place, but it is in fact a car park for twolegs wanting to explore the forest.
Moorland; bordering our great forest on every side save for one is a massive moorland that expands as far as the eye can see. No one is sure as to what can be found at the end of it, for no one has ever journeyed that far in living memory, most cats dont tend to explore this area and keep to the forests.
Owl Sycamore; an ancient tree in which an owl once made its nest, the great hollow which once made the home of the mighty beast remains, though the bird itself is long gone.
Precipice Falls; our northern border ends with a great cliff, from which the river leading from the Cherry Blossom Lake ends and creates a waterfall. The land here especially during times of heavy rainfall is especially unsteady, and cats have lost their lives falling from its height.
Ruined Creek; beside this body of water was where the final battle with the dark forest moons ago ended. Named not only for the strange shape of the creek, as erosion has lead to it having a very erratic nature, but now its name has new meaning due to how much death took place on its banks.
Sky Watcher’s Peak; the highest point in the territory aside from the cliffs at precipice falls is a hill found on the territory. Its hills are littered with small oak trees, but is otherwise largely unnoticeable. It is a beautiful place to watch the territory, as well as being a good vantage point from which to watch the world around us.
StarStone; found within the great roots of the Lonely Oak one will find a beautiful rock formation come to be known by the Clan as the StarStone, it is the clans connection with StarClan.
Twolegs Nest; the one constant staple of twolegs in the forest is found in a small place to the east of the territory, its only purpose is the garden from which the medicine cat can get some herbs, but otherwise the clan makes every attempt to avoid coming here.
Home for AshClan is found within a small glade within the territory it calls home, surrounded on all sides by thick trees and foliage, as well as bordered by a small thicket, the camp is a safe and warm one. The fresh kill pile is found beside the small stream which runs through the length of camp, and the leader conducts meetings from a low laying branch of the leader’s den.
Leader’s Den; the nest for the leader of AshClan can be found within a great hollow inside of an Oak Tree within camp, it is situated north of the camp entrance, and is spacious due to the ancient nature of the tree, providing room for the leader, their mate and any litters they might have at the time.
Medicine Cat Den; making their home within a spacious trunk of a fallen tree, the medicine cat and apprentice live in an isolated part of camp so when there is illness in the clan the patients are already quarantined.
Warrior’s Den; of course the largest den found within camp, it makes up the border of camp, being found in the great thicket which borders AshClan camp, it means that the den is the first line of defence for the cats in camp, and a multitude of warriors can protect the camp from intruders who might do it harm.
Apprentice’s Den; cats in training to become warriors for AshClan make their home within the roots of a sycamore tree found to the side of camp, its walls have been covered in ivy and moss to ensure the elements cant get inside, so it is a warm and spacious den.
Nursery; our youngest members make their homes for the first six moons of their lives within a long abandoned fox earth in camp, its entrance is steep to stop kits from escaping before their ready, but has had branches dug into it in order to provide purchase for the heavily pregnant queens inside trying to venture out.
Elder’s Den; cats who have retired from service as members of AshClan make their home within a comfortable and moss laden dip within the earth of camp made by cats. It is similar to the nursery, and has intertwining tunnels so the elders can play with the kits when they wish without becoming cold in the world above ground.

Dawnstar, Cloaked in a coat of midnight black, one would be forgiven for assuming her to be solid in colour. But in fact she carries a rosette patterned undercoat of dark silvery grey, whilst only really visible when she stands in direct lighting, it is especially noticeable at the backs of her front paws. Her coat is feathery and tufts in nature, giving her a bit of a unkempt nature during the morning, but she is proud about keeping it sleek. Dawnstar has heterochromia, meaning that she has two eyes of different colours, the left being a rich amber and the other being a greyish blue. Dawnstar is a beautiful young cat, or would be had it not been for the fact she is covered in battle scars. Having already lost four of her lives to the battles at the beginning of her reign with the dark forest, she has known battle as well as the most veteranned warriors in the clan. She had to grow up fast, not only being chosen to lead at a very young age, but the madness which happened through her time as leader. It left her a little emotionally stunted, having long learned to hide what pain she has feels, she is still leaning to open up again after what seemed like a lifetime of fighting for her life. In truth she is a kind and loyal cat, as well as a capable warrior and a fierce one. @stormpetal
Stormfrost, This handsome tom has been at the forefront of AshClan's battles against the Dark Forest, serving in full capacity as Dawnstar's stoic and capable adjutant. Stormfrost is large and well-muscled, his broad shoulders covered with scars from the long battles. His pelt is a dark bluish-gray, with a white muzzle and paws. He has silver stripes along his pelt and tail, and piercing blue eyes. Stormfrost can best be described as a "warrior" in the truest sense. Beyond just the position, he feels as if he has been fighting his entire life, and honestly, he's not too sure what to do now that he can put his claws to rest. Nevertheless, he is a capable leader and has a commanding presence. The tom is incredibly loyal to Dawnstar, having fought alongside her countless times, to the point where he trusts her with his life. He does not take lightly to any cat that would dare to cross her. However, this is loyalty runs dangerously deep. Stormfrost's faith in his leader is unwavering, and there's no telling what would happen if this powerful and charismatic tom's faith would be shaken, even a tiny bit. ~Skyblaze~
Doespring, Doespring is a pale golden brown tabby she-cat. She has a white chest. Her eyes are leaf green. She has long legs and a long tail. Doespring has large ears, which one has a small scar behind it, possibly earned from training. Doespring was chosen as the Tribe's next medicine cat due to her sweet personality and strong connection to StarClan. However, some may argue she would have made a fine hunter. You see, Doespring isn't very good at her job. She trips over her paws, often scattering herbs and she can't seem to cure her allergies. She needs assistance when helping the wounded because she gets a bit squeamish around blood. She has been noted to gag at the smell and has to hold her breath when applying herbs and cobwebs. Little do her Clanmates know that this is all an act to get herself out of the position. She solely believes that StarClan forces cats to be medicine cats, stripping them of their future. She was so proud to be a warrior until she was whisked away and told to become a medicine cat. Being pressured by her Clanmates, the she-cat caved in, but has hated a majority ever since in addition to StarClan themselves. Now she seeks revenge for her stolen destiny. ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 Twigpaw, Twigpaw is a sadistic little guy. He may look all cute and cuddly on the outside, but internally he’s great at hiding things. His fur is a dark chocolate brown, but very fluffy. Not in the downy kit fur way, but he has long hairs that stretch from his very skinny body. His eyes are a deep amber color and often are brighter than what they should be. His toes are white along with the very tip of his tufted ears. Twigpaw is very shy at first, as he doesn’t really talk to many cats. He isn’t great at it, either, which makes him a riot at half moon gatherings. But once someone gets to know him, Twigpaw can be great fun. He’s terrible at holding grudges though and those often come back to bite him in the rump when he has to care for those he dislikes. He’ll do it though. ᴀʟᴀɴᴀ »

Adderstripe, Despite being small in comparison to what would be normal for the average warrior, he doesn't let this fall to a disadvantage. He is quick and cunning, as his name might suggest and with a tongue quite as venomous as his namesake. Dark brown in colour, he is striped across the dorsal in a colour of black, as well as at each of his four paws, and speckled all over his ears. His eyes are pale green in colour, like dying grass. He is a sharp witted young tom, not necessarily cruel but by no means especially friendly to others. He prefers to keep himself to himself, and is difficult to read even by those considered a friend to him. @stormpetal
Birdscreech, Birdscreech has quite a unique pelt, however somewhat fitting for where she lives. She has a mainly black pelt, but in contrast has white splotches on her chest, front paws, tail tip, and a splash on her muzzle. She is what two-legs would referto as a 'tuxedo.' Her fur is sleek looking, but rather long and thick to keep her warm in the cooler moons and give her protection. Her frame more muscular in comparison to the other she-cats in the clan, and she can fight with the best of the toms. She's slow in a battle, but a very good strategist. Her fur is littered with scars in an unpredictable pattern acrossher body and a few on her face. One very noticeable scar slices her nose in half, also one of her more painful ones to receive. When Birdscreech was born, she was a quiet and calm kit, as to why her mother chose her prefix to be Bird-. However, as she grew up, when her body filled out with muscle and she received her training, she turned out to be a much fiercer warrior than most expected. Her suffix came from her signature screech in battle, one that is easily recognizable to the clan. When not in battle, however, she has a soft heart for her friends and family. She can be a little off put by those she doesn't know, but is never rude unless provoked. However, when she is provoked, she can have quite the sharp tongue. plagυe docтor
Breezewhisker, Breezewhisker is a larger-than-average tabby tom. He has a gray, stormy colored pelt with dark stripes. He has a white chest and paws. The tom has broad shoulders, with a scar going across them from a fox attack. He has pale green eyes and a pink nose. The HollyClan deputy has a scar along his left side, all the way to his flank from a climbing incident when he was an apprentice. He also earned a scar on his right hind leg from the same incident. He is an awkward tom for sure, not quite able to respond with confidence and questioning himself a lot. However, the tom is very sweet and compassionate. He often goes to his mate with flowers when she's upset and tried his best to cheer her up. He may have a large frame, but let's be honest, he's essentially a teddy bear. When he was an apprentice, he was in a climbing incident where he broke his leg. Ever since the event, he's been cautious. ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁
Boulderflame, Intimidating is the perfect word for this massive tom, huge even by the standards of the average cat of AshClan, he isnt the friendliest looking cat on first impression and he likes to keep it that way. This older tom has a thick coat of dark grey colouring, marked with stripes of silver and lighter grey in a bumble bee like fashion all the way across his back and body, fading as it reaches his underbelly to turn white. His eyes are dark green. Like most of the rest of his clan he too is covered in the scars which batter the majority of the clan after moons of warfare. He is a proud and confident older tom, he prefers to keep himself to himself but in truth he has a good heart and is loyal to the bone. However, he would do anything to see the peace continue, be it for the light or the dark. He has long grown tired of fighting for his life. @stormpetal
Emberpetal, Feeble is arguably the first word which comes to mind when one regards this pretty shecat. With a small stature and slender frame, she is small compared to the majority of her clanmates. Coloured primarily in black, her fur is a patchwork of colour, marked with irregular splashes of orange and white all across her body, making her a calico. Her eyes are lit with a rich ambery brown colour, from which she gains her firey name, A kind cat in nature, she always does what she can to keep others happy with little thought of personal cost. Loyal to a fault, she can be blinded to the faults of others, and fall in love all too easily. @stormpetal
Galewind, Galewind is a long-limbed soft grey tom, with strange, medium-length, tussled and curly fur that makes him look like he's always wet. He is built with taught muscles and a lithe, graceful body, bearing a slightly deep chest, and a thin tail. A long scar runs from the left corner of his mouth and all the way up between his wispy, blue-grey eyes to his forehead, parting the fur. After a front leg broken in battle didn't heal properly, he walks with a noticeable limp that makes him get tired easier than others, and greatly reduces his ability to run and leap. Galewind is soft spoken, and despite a physical condition preventing him from running and most normal duties, outwardly humorous and light-hearted, really an insincere persona to hide his lack of trust with most cats in the clan and, countless, restless nights filled with nightmares of the bloody battles that used to plague them. He often seems like he's straining to act a certain way, and spends a great deal of time alone and out on the moor, watching the honeyfur and rye with a painful longing. There is some gossip about him considering retiring early going around, which isn't entirely untrue. @runningtea
Hollowshade, Hollowshade has a sleek, fluffy pelt with small tufts on her ears. Her pelt is a deep charcoal black, with dark gray markings around her legs, ears, and tail. The dark gray color also covers her toes, ear tips, and snout. When in brighter light, the gray of Hollowshade's pelt looks almost frosty. Hollowshade has brilliant blue eyes, icy and gleaming in the light of day. When she gets angry or overwhelmed, they tend to appear darker. Hollowshade is lean, lithe, and built for running. She has long legs, a skinny body, and sleek fur. Hollowshade is quite aerodynamic, allowing her to be one of the fastest cats in the Clan. She has large eyes, and her whiskers are small and skinny. Her voice is low, for a female cat, and she speaks in a way that makes her seem older than she truly is. A long, pale scar runs down one side of her spine, though she doesn't often admit where it came from. One of her canines is slightly chipped, causing it to be just barely more blunt than the other. Hollowshade is sweet as a cherry, and is the kind of cat who will never turn down a request for help. She loves to take care of others, whether it be fetching something they need or simply sitting and listening to their problems. She is bright, bubbly, and loves to have fun with others. When she isn't doing something for the Clan, or training a young cat, she can be found visiting the Queens and their kits, gossiping with the Elders, or playing with her friends. Hollowshade isn't always so happy-go-lucky, though. She is an intensely anxiety-ridden cat, always worried that she will fail and cause someone harm. She desperately wants to do right all the time, and when she is under extreme amounts of stress, she has been known to lash out. If she is angry enough, she will not hesitate to bite your ear off, and ʙᴜᴍʙʟᴇʙᴇᴇ »
Lightningstep, Lightningstep is basically the cat embodiment of a fireball. She has a russet striped pelt, amber eyes, and seemingly endless energy, which can be quite annoying to other cats at times. Her pelt is short and often messy from her latest adventure and she has a nick in her left ear from an expedition gone wrong. Her nose is pink with white splotches and her front two paws has white markings. Lightningstep is curious and a quick-learner. She enjoys both hunting and battle training but is better at hunting. When fighting, she tends to throw herself into situations that she can’t win. She’s pretty reckless. By regular standards, Lightningstep is the normal size for a she-cat. However, by AshClan standards, she’s very small. She is insecure about this fact and tries to make up for it with her energetic personality. She gets along easily with most cats, especially her best friend, Thistledust. hazelmarie
Noonheart, A feathery russet-furred tabby she-cat with bright, round amber eyes. Noonheart is a beautiful young she-cat and newly-appointed warrior who's desire to prove herself to the Clan and be the best is unwavering. She's bubbly and easy-going, taking little to no offense to anything and always seeing the bright side of things. She's loving to a fault, wanting nothing more than to see the good in all cats. Life to her is precious, and so is the clan and her clanmates. The young, naïve she-cat wants nothing more than to live her fantasy of finding a mate, having kits, and spending her life surrounded by friends and family without ever having to face war. She believes in fairytales and happy endings, which often blinds her from reality and what is the truth. To no surprise, her energetic persona can come across as foolish and childlike, and to a certain extreme, stupid. If cats whisper about her behind her back, she hardly notices. If she's ever talking a cat's ears off, then that usually goes unnoticed as well. It takes blunt honestly and sometimes some hurtful words to get through to her thick skull. No cat really knows what to expect if her feelings were ever to get hurt, but no one has yet to find out. Aɪʀ
Rowanbranch. Rowanbranch is a young, short and stocky she-cat. Her long, salt and peppered fur alternates between pale grey and a dull, dark brown, only solidly coloured on her ears, tail and the bridge of her nose. She has an eternally unkempt and tom-ish appearance, with heavily scarred shoulders and startlingly wide amber eyes. A little shorter than most, she is still powerfully built for strong blows and heavy tackles, trading agility and speed for raw strength, someone not to be messed with. Rowanbranch grew up surrounded by battle, bloodlust and civil upset. It was all she ever knew from kithood, and it was what she was trained for, raised to be aggressive and strong willed, to her, it was what life was. Now that the war is over, and with peace finally settled on the clan, she is among quite a few cats who don't know what to do with themselves. She struggles with being gentle and too blunt, often mistaking acts of kindness for veiled threats, and can't seem to understand anyone, feeling lost and confused without a clear purpose. The only thing that seems to bring out a softer side of her and some solace is helping out and playing with the kits in the nursery, because they're simpler and 'easier to read'. @runningtea
Seedwhisker, A slim, gray tortoiseshell tom with small, faint pale ginger patches along his ears, tail, and right foreleg, as well as a particularly distinct one around his right eye. His legs are slightly longer than the average cat, but it isn't very noticeable beneath his long, thin coat. His fur is not as thick as his clanmates' furs, making leaf-bare an insufferable season for the poor tom to get through without becoming ill. Along with his thinner figure and slightly lighter coat than the average AshClan cat, life within the Clan is not pleasant for him at all. Since a very young age, the warrior has been oddly aware of his disadvantage. He's intelligent and self-aware, understanding that he can't do what his clanmates can and being accepting of it (although a little begrudged). He has moments of envy when he sees couples snuggling together with their kits, knowing he can't have any of his own, and finds himself glaring at patrols returning home from bountiful hunts with prey he'll never be able to catch, but none of these negative feeling have been strong enough to impact his good heart. Having the fur coat of his sort has made socializing rather annoying, as cats who aren't familiar with him sometimes mistake him as a she-cat. Therefore, he keeps socializing to a bare minimum, mostly sticking to his own company when there isn't much to be done. He finds himself oddly drawn towards the medicine den, wanting nothing more than to be inside, sorting herbs and healing his clanmates. He feels a strange drawing towards medicine, as if he was born to heal. It seems to be one of the few things the tom may actually be able to accomplish on his own. However, his obsessiveness can become irritating to the clan's true medicine cats, and it isn't uncommon for him to be banned from the den for days at a time for sticking his nose too deeply into where it doesn't belong. Regardless, he is kind by nature, finding peace and happiness in the prospect of healing his clanmates and providing comfort and reassurance to their sick bodies and minds, even if he isn't certified to do such. The young tom is still full of integrity and strongly discourages lying and of the sort. He has a strong distaste for manipulative and deceitful cats and will never hesitate to voice such. He perceives himself to be a realist and will never hide the truth from any of his clanmates. If it is bad news he needs to deliver, then it is bad news he will tell, but will be there in the aftermath to comfort any cat the truth may hurt. His history with his family is rather convoluted, for he does not communicate much with his father and his father's side of the family, especially after his mother's passing.

Sleetfall, Sleetfall, is almost unnaturally large. He is big, broad, and bulky, with a fluffy, long-furred pelt. Surprisingly for an AshClan cat, Sleetfall has a soft, silvery white undercoat, with smokey, ash gray markings along his legs, face, and tail. A deeper charcoal gray spots around his face, shoulders, flank, and paws, like the inverted image of snowfall. Sleetfall is built for battle, with large paws and stocky shoulders. He has only one small scar on his body - two pale markings that criss-cross over his right flank. He also has a notch in his left ear. Despite being young, Sleetfall has a deep, husky voice that often comes out more sultry than he intends. Sleetfall is a quiet, brooding cat with a knack for listening before he speaks or make decisions. He is a natural leader among the apprentices, because he uses his head before his instincts, and especially before his heart. He is observant and respectful, but he can unwittingly be harsh and unforgiving when someone makes a mistake. Sleetfall absolutely loathes disloyalty and dishonor, and if a cat exhibits either trait he immediately decides that they are no longer worth his time, and has been known to bring about some tears with his cruel words. Despite his harsh manner, Sleetfall is a sweet cat, and loves for others to come to him when in need. He loves fiercely, when he loves, and with a passion that leads him to jump to the defense of those he cares about without hesitation. He has a soft spot for kits, and often allows them to use him as their own personal climbing-rock. ʙᴜᴍʙʟᴇʙᴇᴇ »
Smokecedar, A smoky dark gray tom with intensely sharp blue eyes. He's thinner than his brother, but still maintains lean muscles that ripple beneath his smooth, well-maintained and even pelt. His only noticeable marking is a dark ring around the tip of his tail. He's a stoic tom, mostly keeping his opinions to himself as he observes and obtains as much information around him as possible. His personality is similar to that of a hawk - fiercely determined, a truly ferocious predator with survival on the mind, always on the lookout for prey. It isn't uncommon for other cats to avoid him because of how strange and scary his expressions can be at times, for there's hardly any light in his eyes and he simply doesn't smile. He takes his job as a warrior seriously, and seeing him do anything besides patrolling and intimidating apprentices would be astonishing. Not to say that the tom is completely anti-social, he usually sticks to himself and avoids naiveté and ignorance like the plague. Weakness disgusts him, but it's never outwardly shown with more than a disapproving frown. Despite how mean the tom is perceived to be, he has never done any harm to any cat within his clan and has done an amazing job throughout his seasons of existence with keeping everycat safe and well fed. Despite how superior he may feel at times, Smokedecar will always secretly feel below his brother, who has outshone him with his successful life in being the clan's deputy. Aɪʀ
Thistledust, If Lightningstep is a fireball, then Thistledust is a blizzard. Even though he doesn’t really have the matching colors with his tan and dark brown tabby pelt and amber eyes, he is always the epitome of calm, cool, and collected. He is larger than his sister, possessing the muscular frame which is common among AshClan cats. He has dark brown markings on his face, flank, and tail. He has little dark brown tufts of fur on his ears, which Lightningstep teases him about all the time. Thistlepaw is intelligent but may come across as rude or cold when you first meet him. However, once you get him to open up, he is sarcastic and witty. While Lightningstep is reckless, Thistledust is indecisive. He waits so long to decide that the opportunity disappears. Despite this, he is a hard-working, loyal cat who is protective of the cats he is close to. His best friend is Lightningstep, even though they may seem to be polar opposites. hazelmarie
Vipershade, Vipershade is a large, dark brown tabby tom. Vipershade was a cat built to fight, and it's seen in his body frame. He's large, muscular, and his dark pelt camouflages him almost perfectly in his territory. His dark green eyes are the only color variation from his dark brown and black tabby stripes. As much as Vipershade looks like a fighter, only a few scars scatter his pelt. He's a great fighter, but an even greater manipulator. The few scars that are on his body are a slash on his flank, and another one half the size near his haunches. And while he looks like the perfect warrior on the outside, many flaws plague his potential to be what he looks like. However, he is a great manipulator and has a way with words to convince almost anyone of almost anything. Of course, not always, but he has spent a great deal of time observing others and how they act. And while he has a way with words, he has let his intelligence get to his head. He is extremely arrogant, and has a bit of a superiority complex. His true feelings are masked by his bold, out-right conceited view of himself. He can be very intolerant of others that he deems not as strong as him, and he can be a very hard cat to be around. He can also be somewhat reckless and headstrong, hardly thinking about his actions before doing them. plagυe docтor
Cinderpaw, This fluffy young she-cat is the living embodiment of a dying coal, with a vibrant ginger-and-gray pelt streaked with black. Her peculiarly mottled coat is a source of pride for Cinderpaw, and she owns it. The she-cat is bright, confident, and optimistic, and generally fun to be around. She makes friends easily and tries to keep things interesting, even when the end result sometimes comes out unfavorable. Not much can keep her down, although she does have a bit of a short, somewhat unpredictable temper. When it does flare out, Cinderpaw can become haughty and somewhat of a diva, something that embarrasses her incredibly when she eventually cools down. ~Skyblaze~
Maplepaw, Maplepaw is a regular tortoiseshell she-cat. Her fur consist of mostly black, but orange is mixed in all throughout her pelt in a brindle pattern. Her pelt is very easily disguised in leaf-fall, however much less in the other seasons. She has very light green eyes. Maplepaw has a slender frame, and her muscles are quite lacking, unlike the majority of her den mates. She still has hope that she will get stronger, as she is still fairly young and has more growing to do. She has a long tail, giving her a good balance which helps her climbing skills that she has almost already mastered in her first few moons of training. She has sneaked off to practice, but her den mates and mentor don't need to know that. She's a friendly, outgoing she-cat who tends to be an optimist and see the brighter side of life. Fighting isn't her strong suit, and most likely never will be. Her skills are only worsened by the fact that she hates fighting, meaning she will dislike practicing as well. She's a very loyal cat, and it's almost impossible to get her loyalties to change once they are set in place. This is also similar to how she acts in every day life; Once her mind is made up, she will hardly ever change it. She can be a little blunt, and not afraid to tell the truth, which can sometimes hurt others' feelings. But one thing she hates are liars, and wouldn't stand to be one herself. Overall she's very bubbly, happy, but set in her ways and refuses to change. plagυe docтor

Brightmoss, A beautiful young tortoiseshell-and-black she-cat with leaf-green eyes. She has a black underbelly and fluffy, yet spiky fur, and a slender build. She's rather small, with short paws, but carries herself with grace. Brightmoss is witty, snarky, and independent. She makes up for her small stature by being full of personality, and can often have a clever wisecrack for the situation. Although social and friendly, she can quickly become fierce if someone would threaten her family, making it quite clear that her warrior training hasn't left her, even in the moons leading to her heavy pregnancy. Leading into the final few days of her pregnancy, she has been experiencing violent and dark nightmares, leaving her somewhat paranoid and on edge. ~Skyblaze~
Kits, Please don’t join as motherless kits. @screenname
Dappledfoot, Dappledfoot is a cranky lady. She isn’t too keen on apprentices ruining her sleep. The old lady’s fur is a sleet gray with darker gray dapples along her bodice and legs. Her front left foot is dappled with the darker grey color as well, hence her name of Dappledfoot. The rest of her feet are colored ivory in a sock formation. Dappledfoot is the mother of Breezewhisker, and although she loves him dearly she can get very cranky with him. She has always wanted grandkits though, so she holds that above his head. Other than that, she’s a great storyteller and a bit of a drama queen. ᴀʟᴀɴᴀ »

For the first time in moons, the clan has known peace. For seasons we battled with the Dark Forest in endless battles that saw countless deaths. We won, at an incrediblecost but we won. However, many still struggle to adapt to a life without constantly having to be on edge for the next ambush, or the nex treachery from among our own ranks. But we survived, and we are sure that we will continue to. However, the dark forest are slowly beginning to dig its claws back into the clan, turning to the warriors who didnt know the war which ruined us for so long first hand. Instead taken over by the option of a better life, taking over the moors which surround us and potentially something further. Converting the long StarClan orientated clan into something darker, and if they fail again they will destroy the clan if they cant have it as their own. Having learned from the mistakes they made before, they are stronger and smarter this time, and the clan is already divided. Dawnstar, the cat who lead the clan through the times of darkness ad lost four of her lives fighting to protect the clan is still struggling along with many to adapt to this new way of life. Slowly learning to trust again, she is coming out of the shell she was forced into during the war, but trusting still comes hard to her after many of her own clanmates turned on her and tried to see her dead. After moons of struggling, it is beginning to seem. As though life is finally returning to the normal we once knew before the world turned this way. And Dawnstar finds out she is pregnant, it seems she is finally allowed the happiness denied to her for so long. But as it becomes apparent that the darkness is slowly returning, the clan struggles between tearing itself apart once and for all, and trying to fight back once again. When a cat is found dead, a known enemy of and eye witnesses claiming that Dawnstar could have saved them, the clan finds itself divided once again. Maybe this time for the last time.

Lightningstep Lightningstep is basically the cat embodiment of a fireball. She gets along easily with most cats, especially her best friend, Thistledust. young warrior open for crush/future mate. watch the stars burn.
Thistledust If Lightningstep is a fireball, then Thistledust is a blizzard. His best friend is Lightningstep, even though they may seem to be polar opposites. young warrior open for crush/future mate watch the stars burn.

Birdscreech Birdscreech has quite a unique pelt, however somewhat fitting for where she lives. She has a mainly black pelt, but in contrast has white splotches on her chest, front paws, tail tip, and a splash on her muzzle. She is what two-legs would refer to as a 'tuxedo.' Her fur is sleek looking, but rather long and thick to keep her warm in the cooler moons and give her protection. Her frame more muscular in comparison to the other she-cats in the clan, and she can fight with the best of the toms. She's slow in a battle, but a very good strategist. Her fur is littered with scars in an unpredictable pattern across her body and a few on her face. However, when she is provoked, she can have quite the sharp tongue. 𝚊𝚛𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚗𝚘𝚙𝚑𝚘𝚋𝚒𝚊

Vipershade Vipershade is a large, dark brown tabby tom. If she is angry enough, she will not hesitate to bite your ear off, and her ability to hold a grudge is almost as legendary as her surprisingly intimidating glare, despite her kind-hearted nature. 𝓀𝒽𝒶𝓁𝑒𝑒𝓈𝒾
Warrior Open to a mate, open to family Watch the Stars Burn
