with april approaching it needs to be restated: autism speaks is a hate group that treats autism as a disease that needs to be cured. they also believe that austistic people are “puzzle pieces” who need to fit into society and that vaccines cause autism. please do not support them or any companies benefitting them this april for their hateful ableist rhetoric. use the colors red and gold instead for autism acceptance month, not blue. anyway y’all have a nice april when it arrives this sunday!

Good post OP. I've been wearing red for the past 4 years now as a form of protest, and I'm not about to stop now.

Good post OP. I've been wearing red for the past 4 years now as a form of protest, and I'm not about to stop now. Like, wearing red shirts literally every day for the past 4 years? I admire that level of dedication.

Ah, I sadly don't have that level of willpower to wear a color that will make bulls and middle aged shopping moms come charging towards me ):
just on April 2nd will I risk the dangers

I'm partially color blind... I wholeheartedly support this but at the same time I have issues seeing pretty much every color but blue...

There. Now he’s telling the truth. The first pic was after he went to the store and bought a red shirt cause he didn’t want to support AS.

I suppose I did learn something valuable from this post, so that's cool.
But seriously, why the universal pin?

I suppose I did learn something valuable from this post, so that's cool. But seriously, why the universal pin? why not the universal pin Because then we've got to choose which pin to make universal! This has already been a long argument and nobody yet has decided!

we merely need to develop a new pin that'll solve everyone's problems I suggest a 4 pin system.

I was so ready to pay $8 for Girl Scout cookies...right up until I saw their sign said they were donating to AS...and I turned and left without any cookies 😩 thank you for this psa the troop doing that can get in trouble for that - Girl Scouts is a nonprofit and has rules about donating money to places through Girl Scouts - you can donate goods and services but not money... if you know the troop number and which Girl Scout neighborhood they're in hit up the neighborhood board because that's NOT okay for them to do that regardless of where but the fact of it being autism speaks is gross
